I know that this list is purely based on your opinion but in what world was Binding of Kin “Decent”?
All of Elodie's perks are really fun. It's also the time when Ormond got a graphical rework, which most people say is an improvement.
-
There's no reason not to. More bloodpoints means more happy campers. Who cares what role is considered easier or harder?
-
Like some comments have said, the map size is what tips it to the survivors.
If it was a normal sized map, the killers would definitely win because they could travel together and end chases in less than 10 seconds.
-
Everyone thought that the prestige level would be a different colored circle, honestly why don't they do that?
It would at least show up in the endgame screen and everyone else can see it.
-
Does this count?
-
The game has gone free on multiple occasions, and goes on sale often. It's a guarantee that there's some.
-
The Survivor perks. Thery're off-meta and they are fun.
-
Even the default item for the arm is called "The Dredge" as if it's always supposed to be the main thing. Could that be why?
The order of the Prestige 3 cosmetics might also be an indication.
-
I play both sides regularly and I think the game is still decently fun, even after hundreds of hours.
-
I think there's been two (three maybe?) recorded cases of DBD Mobile outfits being put onto the Rift in the future. We might see them yet.
-
Only good thing to come from the Billy rework, his chase music
-
Advantages to Prestiging now: You'll get a different emblem that everyone can see in the postgame results, and you'll get the bloody cosmetics earlier (those will be moved to Prestige 4, 5, and 6)
Advantages to waiting for the update: You won't lose al of your items and offerings.
It's probably better to wait, but considering this game is years old, I've already had several characters made P3, so that's fine by me.
-
I wouldn't call it so early. That Monstrous Shrine buff is gonna be, well, monstrous. 20% is a lot faster than people realize.
And the slower gens means that every regression perk saves more time than before.
-
I think it should've had one but not the other.
There are matches where I've basically won by default because Ruin is still up by the time I sacrifice a survivor, so I'd be leaning towards that one more than the fast speed.
-
Calm Spirit. Unless the wording is unclear, and you can choose to do it silently or not, then there's an arbitrary downside, just like Technician has.
-
You can collect it and die, you'll still get progress.
-
If it's been neutered so much, then maybe DS should work for all hook states. That would still only be 2 times, and it's really weak still.
-
It should have been playing just the breathing noises like when a survivor is healthy. The total silence is what most people had a grudge against.
-
Me after imagining Nurse with the proposed changes to Jolt:
looking forward to using it on Myers though
-
just hit them, if you willingly wait out so much time, then they'll still get what the wanted, distance from the hook.
-
I hate Grim Pantry but I like the Pale Rose for both sides
-
One of the decorations is that there's a body sitting in a chair with a cloth draped over it in the basement during this event.
I'm pretty sure it's the Observer from the Archives
-
Billy being nerfed destroyed my will to learn how to play him.
I'm still salty that BHVR said "we are happy with the way Hillbilly performs" and then nerfed him in every way. All he needed was primer bulb and tuning guide to be looked at and changed. Instasaw was the only problem.
-
Solidarity, No Mither, Self Care, Resurgence is the best perk build
-
Prove Thyself saves like 6 seconds or something close to that. It's overall not very egregious, it just counteracts the 15% repair penalty.
-
Thanks to cowboy Jake, he was my main survivor for a few years.
-
Trapper is up there for killers solely because of Agitation. Billy because of Tinkerer & Enduring.
When Huntress & Wraith have the perks that they do, it's really no contest.
-
All these pictures are on Coldwind, but I got one today on The Game that was pretty bad. This Claudette is hooked across from me just a 2 second walk away.
Side note: those lockers right there seem to have been added last patch. And they messed up not one, but two players in this match by accidentally entering them because they were so close.
-
Hot take(?): I think that every single offering should be shared between the entire cast of characters. Everyone uses the same ones, so if it wasn't split between characters it would be much more convenient.
-
When a challenge says "break gens" they specifically mean the action of kicking a gen. So yeah, this one is much easier to do as survivor and just do skillchecks.
When a challenge says "damage gens" that's when you can use Jolt, Pain Resonance, Eruption, etc. as well as the usual kicking.

Oh you have SH and Pen? I dont feel like to Bless anymore.
You lose 50% perk slots, your move.
Plaything is the best for Pen, not SH
That's a good point, but typically the survivors would be blessing totems instinctively, and not noticing until after 1-2 times at least. Maybe all 3 perks used at once would be good.
-
Agitation is already good, his best perk definitely. The fact that you move faster than survivors, and can catch people off guard so often, it has merits on its own. The increased terror radius seems useless, but it can actually be devastating paired with Starstruck.
Brutal Strength just needs a flat number increase, 10% or 15% would be fine.
Unnerving Presence is the one that needs a full rework, because the smaller skillchecks actually helps survivor because they're more likely to hit the great skillcheck part.
-
I always thought that Eyrie of Crows was like Temple of Purgation but the main building was bullshit.
I think the northern part is tolerable even with the abundance of pallets. Eyrie main building can suck a lemon though.
-
I hope they revert Hillbilly's overheat. Everybody agreed that the addons were the only problematic part. Newer killers like Pyramid Head, Blight, Pinhead. Their only punishment for missing is the cooldown. No extra overheat added.
-
I wish they'd show the rank/grade breakdown of the killers. Or even the DLC pick rates.
My boys Wraith & Trapper being used is nice, but there's no way it's constant. Huntress is believable though.
-
Pharmacy + Resurgence. A simple but fun combo, even if it's far from the meta.
Bond or Aftercare. The information is very valuable, and I'd rather take one of them over Dead Hard.
Is Devour Hope meta or not? It's good for sure, but also a gamble to use.
-
I never understand these types of players. On both sides, really.
You only want to blind when the killer is breaking a pallet or picking up a survivor. There's no other animations worth it. If ya miss the save, then oh well, that's it. Any other time, the killer can simply look up and completely avoid the flashlight.
Why people bother using them at inopportune times, OR why killers decide to use the perk Lightborn. I guess when both of those players clash, it's pretty funny.
-
I believe it's just P3
-
Survivor: only the pride charm, bc using too many looks cluttered and out of place on some characters.
Killer: charms that match the killer's lore and theme, pride, or something shiny.
-
Wow, we've got very similar tastes! I always use the pride charm, but the other two are always thematic or related to the killer's lore. My Nurse, Wraith, Trapper, Doctor, and Legion are basically the exact same.
-
Ones that were previously in the Rift such as David & the Nurse Halloween outfits have been brought to the store. Same with the ugly sweaters that were earned from a store code.
They'll likely be put into the store when the applicable season rolls around.
-
When Balanced Landing ruled the exhaustion meta, at least there were times where a survivor would simply not be in a high spot, and therefore got no use from it. It did needed that nerf though.
-
By looks alone, I'd put licensed in their own tier because they have years of memories compared to just DBD

I can’t find where it was stated, but I’m certain there was confirmation those pieces wouldn’t be coming to the store, only outfits.
Only Charms were specifically stated to be exclusive. But yes, there's 2+ years worth of Rifts that all have exclusive single-piece cosmetics.
-
Aren't lockers only able to be locked once per trial? I thought it was intentional design so the same group of lockers could be countered more than once.

The only slowdown Dredge suffers from is when he's holding his power. Otherwise he isn't hindered ever unless he's on cooldown.
The great thing about Dredge is that he can abuse his power with little to know consequence. You can use it as much as you want, whenever you want, and you'll never get any blowback. I think more killers should be designed this way rather than be handicapped by their own power
This specific wording you used makes me want the old Hillbilly power back :(
(the base power, not the OP addons)

The house is way too dark for some reason. In a match today, I literally couldn't see the survivor I was chasing when they ran upstairs.
-
If I use Residual Manifest, then I think Bond or Empathy will be mandatory for me. Using one of those perks is crucial to preparing for flashlight saves if you choose to attempt them. Really, all that changes is that you can take some other item into the trial and then get your surprise flashlight later on in the trial.
Spine Chill might be good with the totem perk in order to help preserve your repair buff for longer. Just don't be too stealthy, or your team will hate you.
