  • Jeff wearing a bathrobe, or some kind of outfit inspired by the dude from The Big Lebowski.

It would also be really funny to make an outfit that makes Jeff look like Jesus for Easter or Christmas one year

  • Thank you for this!

  • I'm scared for when they come for Surge/Jolt it might happen eventually.

If the change goes live, then I guess Pop Goes the Weasel might be good again by comparison

  • It's kind of an antiquated term even in DBD, but I sometimes say Boosted still.

  • I only play DBD at night and I definitely notice better survivors on during those hours, both teammates and opponents. Usually 1 to 2 flashlights every match, but a good chunk of people don't know how to use them and are just a minor annoyance. Still, they're backed up by survivors that actually do gens so it can be rough sometimes.

Really, the only big thing is that after 8 PM, it's always a 100% bloodpoint bonus to Killer for basically the whole night. Queues are also like 4 seconds during that time so it's kinda nice.

The Legendary "Hunk" skin for Legion is the same way. Stuff like this seems to get passed quality control all the time. I am of course assuming that BHVR actually HAS anyone doing quality control.. Probably a mistake on my part.

I completely forgot about the Hunk skin, and that is really glaringly noticeable when they enter Feral Frenzy. Messes me up whenever I happen to face a Legion with that skin.

  • Giving some of his browns or yellow addons basekit would be good.

Being able to reach Tier 3 and then activate it like Oni's power was an idea I've seen before, but that might be too much because I feel like there's a small bit of skill in stalking just enough so that you can surprise survivors with it later.

  • Frosty Eyes items have so far always returned in the form of a code.

IDK why they stopped adding them to accounts by default after Spirit came out, but every original killer still gets theirs. If you weren't playing when the event was you'll just have to wait for December of 2023.

  • It's a bad perk but I love it. I run it on one of my mains, and make my goal getting all 5 tokens. Usually it's a completely dead slot but I don't mind. Makes it all the cooler when I actually do well without meta perks.

I hope they buff it to have more skillchecks though.

  • I never use exhaustion perks because I'm always packing that Bond + Open Handed combo. It's such a great perk, and I much prefer perks that are unconditional and give you a little bonus. Sometimes I even use it in full aura reading builds, nothing stealth or healing related, just vision.

  • It's a good game design to prevent killers from using the same areas over and over. Some dead zones can inescapable if multiple people are caught out and the killer could continually use the same hook. Just like survivors need to be wise with pallets, the killer should be with hooks.

I find myself in this situation as killer sometimes where I'm like "do I want to sacrifice this person on a Scourge Hook, or should I risk going farther, and try getting 1-3 more uses from it before I remove it from the map?" It's an interesting risk/reward scenario and I think the killer can play around it just fine, except in rare cases.

And if the survivors insist on being extra obstinate about it, you have the power to punish that by leaving them crawling.

I'm more talking about the part where they said that new skins released for auric cells only would get a shard price 4 weeks later. I'm wondering if anyone has noticed whether they are following through with that part.

If that Lunar New Year outfit Feng got was anything to go by, then no, that went away before it was able to be purchased with shards.

  • For some odd reason, they're rolling it out slowly. Right now I believe they've done every survivor released before Kate.

But it seems inconsistent, look at Spirit and you'll see that all but her licensed & newest outfit can be bought with shards already. Adam still isn't like that.

  • I'm sure it's still pretty good, but it was fairly rated even when it was at 100% imo.

Back in the day, I was highkey happy to see Iron Will instead of Adrenaline or another Dead Hard. Only occasionally was it annoying when someone was good with a flashlight and could hide their approach most times. If they just fixed the breathing being silent it would've been fine.

  • I still never finished that Clown one where you have to intentionally buff the survivors and then hit them.

Huntress has had like 4 different sets of challenges over the years, but the one that has a distance requirement is kind of annoying. The games where I actually do get it, are always times where I don't have that selected.

For the newest Tome, I've done everything except Vittorio & Knight because I don't own them.

  • The realization that Trickster is only a few weeks away from being two years old is hitting me like a truck.

I think plenty of chapters in the past 2 years have been kind of divisive. Pinhead for one, the map that came with The Artist, and Binding of Kin was also a bit of a flop. Elodie was great and so was reworked Ormond, but we all know how the Twins were. (and still are!)

  • When people say Boons need a nerf, they really mean Circle of Healing needs a nerf.

I think CoH should get a token system to prevent the overuse of it, and encourage survivors to be more tactical for when they place a boon. The rest of the Boon perks can keep their unlimited use because the effects aren't nearly as strong as team-wide self-care.

I used Boon: Exponential *a lot* for the past year while slowly and painfully grinding the "Bless You" achievement. It's wildly underpowered, because just like Unbreakable only getting big value in like 1/20 matches, it's even less when it's tied to a boon.

Like how different killers have varying terror radius distances, I think Boons could have different distances while still all being tied to the same totem. You only get CoH when moving closer, but a weaker effect like Dark Theory can cover a larger distance without being OP. Also they should make at least 1 universal perk that's a Boon so that newer players can be introduced to the mechanic better. Even Scourge Hooks got that when they changed Monstrous Shrine.

  • It's been bugged ever since they changed the requirements for Merciless Killer to be the number of kills/sacrifices.

Sometimes it unlocks and sometimes it won't. Nobody knows what the actual exact conditions are, and it affects every single killer. I been trying Adept Dredge for weeks now and it's still bugged.

  • First off, I really love Bioshock and it's my second most wanted DLC for this game. Any mention of it gets appreciation from me. Was there any reason why you picked an Alpha-series big daddy to be the killer btw?

I like the idea, it's almost like a speed limiter Billy until you get upgraded. And after that, Billy but the drill is better than a chainsaw. Getting tokens passively might be too much, but idk. For reference, Coup is an 80% lunge and I'm pretty sure T3 Myers is an extra 20% of the default 5m. If that gets out of hand, maybe gaining tokens could be gathering ADAM from corpses put around the map. Hopefully that wouldn't weaken his power too much, because it would be incredible to have a little sister incorporated somehow. Breaking windows might somehow break the game unless they make it an official mechanic, but idk. It would be wild to see.

The perks seem a little bit out-there. I'd like to make cool builds but I don't know if they'd survive the community's wrath if they were real.

Unstoppable Force would never make out of the PTB without being severely nerfed. Since the cooldown is pretty short, it would probably be a non-issue and could see use every single time. Maybe a tokens system would be better. I'd say starting with maybe 4 that can't be regained, or gaining them similarly to Coup De Grace. System Reboot would be an F-U to Kindred and OTR, but it seems a little underpowered besides that. Honestly it could also affect the rescuer and then it might actually see use. Edit: I forgot that it would also hard counter endgame Adrenaline, which would be neat. The Hex perk seems like a strictly better Pentimento, since that rarely gets more than one or two tokens without survivors getting wise.

Overall I love the idea and would definitely buy a Bioshock DLC if they made one. I think BHVR could do it justice, especially a map of Rapture.

  • Isn't a missed skillcheck going to cause more regression than 10% of current progress? That's laughable. Everybody's problem was the incapacitated status not the generator regression.

  • Hotline Miami is my true most wanted licensed killer, but I thought it so unlikely that I usually say it's Bioshock.

HM isn't really horror, but it's a very brutal game with a lot of violence that I think could make a good DBD killer. They could be a very creative character and imagine all the masks they could sell.

  • Adept Dredge still bugged, must've gotten it 4 times over by now. Even tried without using addons as some people suggested.

Well, I have done an adept too with add-ons and addonless later on. It seems there's a bug with the addons and you need to use it addonless now to bypass it.

This is either not true, or only applies to certain killers. I've done Adept Dredge like 4 times now, trying most recently without any addons. No achievement.

  • If that's what you call a buff, it's very minor because you could already see a survivor's aura doing the animation of repairing. Not you're just more likely to notice because of the generator icon by their name.

  • Not a Haddie main, but I try to put on an outfit I enjoy for every survivor

The dark green recolor of the default pants, the blue jacket from the Prime skin, and then any hair is pretty good imo.

  • I couldn't get Adept Dredge tonight, so I think it might be all of the Adept Killer achievements.

But didn't you guys WHINE and CRY the entire time you kept getting hit with POP?

I never complained about PGTW itself. Only times I'd ever be annoyed is based on the state of the match, like the survivors are going down and being snowballed a lot. Only then did Pop feel overwhelming. Wasn't a problem every single time.

And back when it was 25% of a total gen, with a 60/45 second timer, I used PGTW quite frequently, always felt more satisfying than other regression, or Eruption is now. If you didn't use Ruin + Undying, you probably used PGTW. It's just what you did back then.

  • Wesker was the best chapter of 2022, sure. But I don't think I'd place it in my top 3 most hyped releases. Maybe top 5 if I went back and re-evaluated them all.

As disasterous as the Resident Evil chapter was for console players, imo I think it carried most of the weight since it was the first Resident Evil content introduced to DBD.

  • Flashlights are definitely the worst item survivors can equip. I find their biggest use is to blind after a pallet stun/break animation. Most killers are sensible enough to face at a wall or check the surroundings before they pickup.

It is pretty funny to see a killer equip Lightborn just for one flashlight though.

  • Yeah, they're a little underwhelming and usually thought of as a noob cosmetic to wear. (Although that stereotype has waned a little over the years). I think depending on the killer, it can be really cool looking.

One thing I do wonder is, are the Frosty Eyes items from the last 3 years still exclusives? I wouldn't know because I haven't missed any new releases. But the OG killers all have theirs in a player's collection by default, not sure about newer ones.

They should make some Hex perks actually viable, so that achievements like this are actually completable in a timely manner.

And because I love Devour Hope and could stand to have better totem spots around.

  • I think the Knight's popularity will hinge on the outfits given to him. I'm not even joking with that. Strength wise, he's going to be middle of the road, so not played all that much.

  • I like the Pale Rose, but I really am not fond of Grim Pantry, regardless of the side I play.

  • Ayy congratulations!

I used to have all of them but a couple of stinkers are keeping me from 100% again. It's not an easy task to do once, I can't imagine keeping up with it with every patch. (Mostly because I never buy stuff full price anymore lol)

  • There were a couple of so called "buffs" in that patch.

Calm Spirit is another one, it retains the slower speed to cleanse and search at all times. I feel like it shouldn't deserve that, just because it has the silent aspect.

  • Alert is extremely underrated. I also love using Bond + Open Handed, but sometimes I run Aftercare for the same reason.

  • Bless You: I never use Boon perks, and killers never use hex perks in the year 2022. Hopefully The Knight's new perk helps get some good progress on this one.

Outbreak Breakout: ######### this one, I don't think there's anything more I have to say. It's the biggest thing keeping me from 100%

There are no more killer achievements that are tough for me, I did all the hard ones years ago.

  • Deathslinger needs some love. He never recovered after they nerfed his stealth playstyle and his ADS spam. I feel like it should have been one or the other, and not both.

  • I would play Haddie if I had her, just to be a contrarian and because I main less-played survivors.

Her biggest problem is that her only outfit that's not a simple recolor is a linked set and costs too much (but that's a problem with every outfit like that). They need more outfits that lean into her being a certified badass, and I bet people would be more likely to play Haddie.

  • @Grandpa_Crack_Pipe said:

I'm glad the screen exists for the times I spend a minute booting up the game just to decide I don't want to play it.

    I felt this

  • Typically, survivors come with 2-3 green rarity outfits, but in Haddie's case, they made hers the Amazon Prime exclusive back in the Summer.

Idk why this one isn't in, they really should add it because 2/3 of her unique outfits are exclusives that you can't get rn. (Prime & Twisted Mascarade). Her only purple outfit is a linked set too.

  • I'm wondering what route they'll take. The original character paragraphs mostly go with Frank being the bad influence and pressuring everyone else to do gang stuff.

The Archives lore from Julie's POV makes it so that she is also a pretty unsavory character who came up with the idea of The Legion. Maybe everyone will get their time in the spotlight, because some of the descriptions of outfits in the store also show Susie to be a hoodlum. I can't remember much about Joey though.

  • Alert is always good. I didn't know it affected the pumpkins, that's pretty cool!

  • In instances where this happens to me, it's usually because the killer abandons chase with me and is then hesitant to engage in another chase. Either that, or gens are flying by and I just never was in a position to take agro from the killer.

  • It kind of is. When you have something that instantly heals you (such as Adrenaline) it will remove the deep wound and you'll just be injured.

But when taking damage the game will down you because you're still injured just with deep wound as well.

  • Is the Ghostface tome that just came out affecting these stats as well, or not?

  • I would give Adam number 1 because of how little he typically gets, so this skin gives even more value to how good it is.

Also, I think this is the third time that Trapper outfit has been recolored, but it's the best version yet imo.

  • That hat looks really good and actually makes him look great with the default suits

  • Hotline Miami paragraph

Because there's so many psychos to choose from. It's a really unique game that you wouldn't expect to be horror but it does have some elements of that. I think BHVR could be really creative with it and make it a great love letter to HM, which is basically a dead series unfortunately.

  • image.png

According to the news in-game, the 2021 outfits are back for a limited time as well. We can only assume that the Haunted by Daylight ones might follow this system as well.

Still, if you don't get them from the Tome they're $10 a pop, so I'll pass.
