which DLC is better?
i'm getting Shmoney[TM] and i'm not sure whether or not i should get the saw DLC or a nightmare on elm street DLC ... which is better in your opinion?

Well, Freddy is leagues better than Pig, to the point where he's likely getting nerfed soon, so there's that, but his perks aren't great.
Pig is mid-tier, with a meh stealth ability, a meh dash, and RNG game slowdown. Her perks (aside from Hangman's Trick.) Are decent though.
Edit: Forgot Survivor's existed for a second there.
Quentin's perks are trash, and need buffs.
Tapps perks are decent enough. Not great, mind you, but decent.
I'd say the Saw chapter is better if you account both characters. 2/3 of Tapp's perks are really underrated, and his worst one (Stake Out) still isn't that bad compared to other stuff. (great for archive challenges too)
For Pig, they're pretty fun but not top tier. Decent perks too.
SAW will probably bring you more enjoyment (and value) in the long run.
While few will dispute that Freddy is probably a stronger killer than Pig, Pig is still able to be effective and fun in her own right.
Plus the SAW Chapter gives you access to Surveillance, Make Your Choice, Tenacity, Detective's Hunch, and Stake Out (which is a terrible perk, but super useful for "Get X great skillchecks in one match" challenges).
Nightmare on Elm Street gets you Blood Warden... and pretty much no other perks truly worth much consideration (I also like Pharmacy personally, but I'd agree with anyone who says that it ain't a great perk).
the SAW chapter is probably more fun and more worth your money, imo.
pig is a very underrated killer with base kit slowdown and her dash (which can be used for mindgames at tiles.) Her perks are pretty meh, but not awful (except hangmans trick, its virtually worthless)
Tapps perks are pretty underrated too. Tenacity is fun for meme builds, stake out isn’t that great (but its free 300 BP, an extra 2% on gen progress, and helps with great skill check challenges), and detectives hunch is very good for the new ruin + undying meta.
Freddys chapter only really has Freddy, but i personally find him very boring since hes way too easy to play. Both freddys and quentins perks are pretty worthless too
Put the decision on hold. They're about to make changes to Freddie.
