If it was based off of Mystery Incorporated and not the original, I'd love it. I know Warner Brothers have licensed Mystery Incororporated to an independent film studio on YouTube so it wouldn't surprise me.

EAC is a steaming pile of garbage so it's no surprise there are cheaters. Instead it bans you for having rbg lighting on your headset. It's very fun.
Record the cheaters, report them in end-game, and submit an additional report using that recording as evidence. Even on low fps and Bitrate, if there's clear evidence support will ban the player.

Lagswitching on dedicated servers?
You can. Limiting your ping as killer, what lagswitching is, results in a lot of hits you shouldn't get. It's a bannable exploit and the devs are working on methods of fixing this on their end. One thing their considering, said in their most recent QnA From Home stream, is server-sided validation on hits, taking both sides into account.

@Doddle28 who is right then? I think after last update items do NOT disintegrate
From the item change it might be that @aGoodOldRub is indeed correct, my bad.
However T1 definitely doesn't remove charges.

Yes they do. Items below 10% charges cease to exist.

I'd actually prefer a different change; she can still see scratch marks but all sound is omni-directional so she can't just throw on stridor and win.
Another thing I'd love to see is an indicator she's phasing- it doesn't have to be something massive and bright and neon, but something bigger than shards you can't see on less than 50% res, can't see on several skins, can't see from far away, and can't see if they're bugged.
These are my two main issues with spirit, and honestly fixing one would make me over the moon. After that we could buff her again in other areas of her kit to compensate and retain her a strong killer, maybe change passive phasing into something else that helps traverse the map better.
-
I can confirm @Zeidoktor is correct on this one; the broken status remains from Deliverance, or any other perk that causes broken.

Pretty sure they'd have to add a login system to the game to add cross-progression, only cross-play seems easier. In an ideal world we'd get both at the same time but you know how the devs are. Plus, data miners only found cross-play in the code not cross-progression, at least not yet.
Thing is that Cross-play code seemed incredibly suspicious.
Firstly, it was stated time and time again we wouldn't have mobile Cross-play. And then mobile appears. But not only does it appear once, somehow we have Mobile, IOS, and Android. It just seems far too off for me to believe it.
And yeah, Cross-play seems slightly easier to integrate but like, cross-progression makes logical sense to add in first.
I would like to clarify nothing has been confirmed yet.

Nurse, hag, spirit, wraith, plague and oni are all supernatural. Arguably they all are, but I'll leave it that.
Explain to me how a levitating nurse with a bag over her head, a floating disembodies corpse with a magical sword, the zombie of a junkyard wrecker, a mummified millennia old dark priestess, and a resurrected demonic samurai are human.
The point is they WERE human until they became this. Literally that's their ENTIRE lore is that they WERE a human but after either a tragedy or them going on a murder spree (hi nurse) they became a monster with supernatural ability.

The sad part is you actually answered your own question but you're just too close minded to realize it. YES, there is other things out there that can turn humans inhuman. That's completely obvious by Freddy, Ash, and Myers. Actually, saying there's other things out there that can turn humans inhuman might be a bit inaccurate cause there's currently no account anywhere in the lore of the entity itself turning any humans into monsters. The lore we've been given about the entity is that it collects survivors and killers for it's endless game of life and death so it can feed off the hope of survivors. The closest thing we have to it altering anybody is the pustels from the Halloween events that come from the entity that Vigo or somebody used to inject into the monsters and turn them into orange puss dripping messes.
Oh my god.
It's clear you won't change because you don't have a clear understanding of implicit information but oh well.
Freddy, Michael, Ash- they're all liscened and come from a different universe. We know the Entity can reach across all of these universes.
What we also know though, is that all non-liscened characters were supposed to be from OUR world, the ones without floating spirits and evil people made of wood who go invisible (funnily enough).
Please, I beg of you, find me an example of a real life The Nurse or a The Wraith, or a The Spirit, or anyone really.

Wow, that's an impressive amount of made up crap. You do realize I actually have access to the same lore pages you do, right?
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Evan_MacMillan
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Philip_Ojomo
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Sally_Smithson
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Lisa_Sherwood
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Herman_Carter
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Rin_Yamaoka
https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/F._J._S._J.
Funny, not a single one of those pages mentions a single thing about the entity altering any of its killers. I don't have any links to the archives, but anybody who has them unlocked in the game can look at whatever listing you're going to pretend implies the entity altered any of its killers. So go ahead and say which memories do.
And allow me to provide the same valid level of proof you did to help establish that Ace is Batman.
Ace Ventura came from the long lost planet of Krypton. Due to a freak accident where he was covered in unnatural chemicals, he was given a special green ring from the guardians of the galaxy that allowed him all the powers needed to turn into a bat at night and help fight crime. While rescuing the world from a mad purple titan hellbent on making humanity pay for the damage they had done to the plantlife, he became known as Batman.
Oh dear you're thick.
These killers were human. Now they're not human. Either there's some other deity out there changing them or- shock horror, I know- it was the Entity.
Now I can see you've got access to the lore (very good you can use the Internet) so you can see, with your own eyes, that these killers were human. The Trapper was a man, wraith was an immigrant worker, hag was a young girl, etc etc. How do these people go from humans to actual, literal monsters, if there's no Entity involvement.

Sadly thats how it will be the pc devs like to claim "its two different teams" so therefore it makes it okay for mobile to have exclusives meanwhile they just gutted exclusives on pc lmao.
PC exclusives worked differently to mobile exclusives. PC exclusives were through steam codes and so people made lots of money through third party selling, and many got scammed. To counter this, all code exclusives were added for free.
All non-code exclsuvies (ie. Huntress' Hound Mask) are still exclusive. Like in mobile, these are not code-exclusives and so can remain exclusive.
Also, since mobile and pc/console are different games, these are mobile exclusive like PC has PC exclusives (Hound mask, Free Songbird, all ex-code-exclsuives).

And Ace is actually secretly Batman. That's how credible it is to say killers are altered by the enemy and give no evidence.
Evan Macmillian was a normal man who liked art and had an abusive father, according to Tome 1 of the Archives. When he snapped and killed the workers, he was taken by the Entity and forced to kill. He was gifted with super strength. However, he didn't want to kill, and so the Entity forced metal through his body. Hence, he was altered by the Entity.
Phillip Ojomo was a normal immigrant worker, who also didn't want to kill anyone. His boss (Azarov) was forcing him to kill people unwillingly, and when he discovered this he was overcome with grief. The Entity entered his mind and changed his perspective, forcing him to kill Azarov and the survivors. Hence, he was altered by the Entity. Also, normal people don't growl or are made from bark.
The Nurse (Sally Smithson) was a normal person, driven to insanity by her work place and the loss of her husband. The Entity claimed her as a killer after she massacred all of the inmates and staff. Normal people can't have bandages wrapped their face so tightly they can't breath, nor can they collect people's breaths. Therefore, the nurse was altered by the Entity.
The Hag was a normal girl living in a village where they practiced different rituals using symbols. One day she was kidnapped by cannibals and kept locked up in the Pale Rose in Backwater Swamp. Whilst strung up, she cut off her own hands through her shackles and drew one symbol on the floor. With the help of the Entity, she became a monster and cannibalised the cannibals right back (she played the uno reverse card). Therefore the Hag was altered by the Entity.
The Doctor was slightly altered by the Entity due to Carter's Spark feeding off of the evil in his heart. Now normal people can't usually provided electrical energy through bad thoughts in their heart, and so the Doctor was slightly altered by the Entity.
The Spirit- do I really need to explain? Probably, so here goes. Now, she was a normal child going to school and working part time to support her family. Her father was originally going to be the killer, and so the Entity entered his mind and made him kill his wide before turning on his daughter. She was chopped into many pieces and thrown through a window (hence the glass in her body). However the Entity saw her rage and so brought her back as the killer instead. Her rage animates her, and without the Entity she wouldn't be standing since usually people aren't made up of floating body parts.
The Legion was altered by the Entity to give them strength since edgy teens can't pick up people like Ace or Bill or David with ease. Therefore they were slightly altered by the Entity.
All of this can be discovered through The Archives or through their character information page. There's my proof (no Ace isn't batman).

If this isn't bait then I've lost a lot of faith in this community. There's a lot to dissect here.
1) You killed someone, better than all four escaping. Depending on how many hooks you got that still could be a good result.
2) I'll admit, spirit is good, and those add-ons are too. However, level 40 isn't a high level in this game (when you go past level 50 hundreds of times lol).
3) Depending on your skill, or theirs, then no its pretty normal instead of being weird.
4) The game is the most fair it's ever been for killers. As someone who played back in 2017, killers are pretty damn strong in comparison.
5) Those perks man! They're not exactly the best. Rancor is a trash perk, TOTH only works if you have hex totems you DON'T want broken, Haunted Grounds only works if you have hex perks that you think will be broken instantly. Noed is the only decent perk there (just don't make my mistake and become over-reliant on it).
6) If you need an ebony mori to stop 4 escapes then that's definitely an issue with your skill, not the game.
7) Clearly your pressure and changing chases isn't working well enough if your games are under 10 mins and you're not killing them as spirit.
8) If the game gets easy enough for new killers to 4k with little to no effort, then how stressful do you think survivor will be? It'll be a nightmare for any and all solo players.
9) You're new to the game (I can see that because of your devotion 0)- you get better the more you play. Keep going, keep improving, and you'll see you don't need an ebony mori each game.
Sincerely, a freddy/doc main.

Not a single killer got altered by the entity. They only got taken from their realm and placed in the entity's realm. Same with survivors for that matter. The closest thing they did to altering is taking away guns, guitars, and whatever from survivors that had them when being snatched.
The Trapper was altered by the Entity.
The Wraith was altered by the Entity.
The Nurse was altered by the Entity.
The Hag was altered by the Entity.
The Doctor was altered (slightly) by the Entity.
The Spirit was altered by the Entity.
The Legion was altered (slightly) by the Entity.
The Clown is a human.
The Hillbilly is a human (barely).
The Huntress is a human.
The Cannibal is a human.
The Pig is a human.
The Plague is (technically) still a human.
The Ghost Face is a human.
The Deathslinger is a human.
The Oni is (debatably) still a human.
Not counting Oni as a human, that leaves 8 killers who are human, 7 who were altered by the Entity, and 4 who aren't (The Shape, The Nightmare, The Oni, and The Demogorgon).
Counting Oni as human, that's 9 human, 7 who were human, and 3 non-humans.

yeah but survivor say stupid ######### like why 4k?
Some people are just stupid.
I've seen people complaining that looping is an exploit. I've seen people saying healing is too quick (after the nerf). I've seen people saying unhooking is too fast, survivors live too long, ds is unfair because I can't tunnel (I've had this in post-game before).
I've also seen slugging being called an exploit, clown being called op, legion consistently gets called op (lmao).
People will be dumb and people will always say stupid things. Saying "The killer's job is to kill" is the same as saying "The survivor's job is to survive." Using this you can justify infinities, old syringes, (old) old pantry, (old old) old ds. The same as you can justify (old) old noed, old 4 blink no downside nurse, old 5 blink nurse, old omegablink™ nurse, old PrayerBeads™ spirit, old ForeverFreddy™.
What I'm saying is, the phrase in the title falls apart under any form of scrutiny. Accept that people will be stupid and move on, maybe drop them a block if the platform supports it so you don't see them again.
-
If I may, its true that the killer's job is to kill, but is it not then the survivor's job to survive?
Just like many killer players dislike things which aid survivors in escaping, many survivor players dislike things which aid the killer in killing them. It's a 2 sided coin.

By that they simply mean they're going to give him some minor qol changes and taking away his exhaustion add-ons in return. And then they will be nerfing him on top of that.
I mean, if that's what you want to believe I can hardly change your mind. Clearly you don't have much faith in the devs.
But remember when they said they'd buff spirit? She got buffed, then buffed some more, then stayed like that for a year before getting changed except the changes didn't really do much to hinder her. Remember when they buffed ghostface? He's stayed like that since (though dedicated servers could be called a nerf it more screwed over everybody).
Remember when they said they'd buff Freddy? 2 years later he's one of the best killers, able to ignore a commonly used survivor perk (bt) and creates map pressure by simply existing.
I'm actually kinda hopeful that clown will get buffed.

Also, read here for an update on planned matchmaking changed.

1) Why would the killer be eligible for a ban here? They can choose who to hit and not to hit, there's no rule stating that you MUST do any certain thing as long as you're not holding the game hostage.
2) The survivor may be eligible for a ban, but honestly that would seem to open the door for banning a LOT of behaviors. Did they run that killer to you intentionally? Did they try to open that locker intentionally? Did they blow that skill check intentionally? Did they give up on the hook intentionally?
This probably falls under, "Technically bad, but no one is going to do anything if it's one time."
Working with the killer is a bannable offence under game rules for both parties.

Sign of a good player? Or sign of a M1 player? I dont know you, but i dont find repairing and leaving funny, or requiring skill. The good player for me is the one that can loop you for too long, losing your match. That requires skill. Everyone can run urban evasion and doing gens...
Also, i dont know how i got outplayed if the other person doesnt want to play? Its easy, if i see you in other match i will do the killer's objective as bubba, which is killing survivors. Ez facecamp. If you dont wanna play, me neither :)
But they... They are playing? They're playing the stealth game instead of the looping game, and you're clearly not prepared for it. If someone can avoid you all game despite your best efforts, either they're good or you're bad.
Stealthing also requires skill, again check PainRelievers on youtube. Everyone can hide, but can they stealth effectively and still do gens then clearly they're not just hiding all game.
"i will do the killer's objective as bubba, which is killing survivors."
Aren't they doing the survivor's objective, which is escaping the trial? This is a two way coin and never really a good argument.
-
Good news, the devs are working on a new matchmaking system (found here) which will match on skill instead of ranks. Therefore these 1k hour players will have higher MMR ratings and will be matched with killers like that.
-
As for the final question, yes there's a cap on how much stalk you can get from each survivor. You know you've reached the cap when their outline is bright red instead of the white it begins at. I don't believe they regain stalk throughout the match, although I might be wrong.

Those are all fair points, I'm not trying to be unreasonable. It'd just be nice to have the game be fun for killers as well. Something should change.
They get a major advantage being on Comms, that level of communication is worth more than any perk in the game.
Are killers just expected to take it on the chin and have horrible games against these people?
Give me extra BP, longer gen time requirements, make it not burn my addons or offerings, something. Anything to justify having to suffer these people when I try and have some fun playing the game.
On the bright side, killers have been buffed pretty significantly recently (or the oens that aren't plagued with bugs anyway).
Plus there's the issue of not all SWF players being on comms, or not all being sweaty tryhards. There are too many variables to punish people because of a minority.
Hopefully this MMR System will help out and could allow people with higher MMR to have harder games (ie slightly longer gen times or fewer pallets).

Thank you. I guess that's something. I still wish they'd let me opt out of playing against SWF groups much in the same way you can opt of of cross platform play. It would be nice to have the option for a longer queue to get fair matches.
Now here's the issue with that idea:
Which killers would want to face SWF groups? Not many, if the constant complaining and lobby doging on these forums is accurate. You, yourself, have admitted you wouldn't want to face SWF groups.
So these groups don't find a match, and when they do they're going to want to enjoy it. They'll bring the sweatiest gear, best everything, all in the hopes they won't face someone who brings an ebony mori and facecamps to make their game as boring as possible.
Plus, rank 20-15swfs would be in the same queue as rank 5-1swfs, facing the same killers. This would simultaneously kill new player gain and old player retention the absolute opposite of an ideal scenario.

Yes, it's bannable.
You got outplayed by a survivor who knew how to hide despite the BBQ reveal, and other tracking perks you may have. Working with a survivor to find them is bannable for the survivor, although you may get off free.
Also, your comment on facecamping an immersed survivor with bubba if you see them is exactly why people flashlight click and wear neon outfits, so they're guaranteed to be seen (although this also leads to facecamping so it's a lose lose situation). Stealth is as viable in this game as looping- look at PainRelievers on YouTube who knows how to play stealthy and still does a lot for their team. Don't facecamp because you got outplayed.
I have games where I don't find someone, but instead you should commend them on their hiding skills. Check their scores- if it's also pretty high then they did things for their team. That's the sign of a good player.
-
There is currently no cross-platform or cross-progression systems in dead by daylight. The devs have expressed interest, as have the community, however this hasn't been implemented yet.
My best suggestion is to keep playing dbd on your PS4 for as long as you have PS+, because there's a chance cross-progression may exist by the time you've run out of it.

@Doddle28 I liek your taste.
So I am a solo survivor since nov. 16 and I always thought about the most difficuilt tasks as solo gamer in dbd and how to make them less hard or annoying.
I hope you read through it :)
Here my perkbuild:
Kindred
Detectives Hunch
Borrowed Time
Inner Strenght
I think we don't have to talk about Kindred right? It's the best solo q perk. It gives you an crazy amount of informations and helps you making right decisions when someone is hooked what's very important bc the killer benefits the most when it comes to hooks.
Detectives Hunch is amazing when it comes to Hex Perks. It encourages good gameplay in form of the team has to put effort into doing their objective first. The reward is knowing the exact position of anything. You can avoid a 3 gen strat from the killer and you don't waste time running around searching for totems especially for hex totems. It's so good.
Borrowed Time synergies with Kindred and helps out when it comes to difficuilt probably game changing situations where the killer tries to "cheese" slugs and/or hook stages in order to bring the libra out of balance. And it can also helps you out ifd you do it right. If you're injured, exposed or the killer has an one shot ability the unhooked surv. can tank the hit. The unhooked and the unhooking survivor are equal for a fair amount of time so that the killer can't skip chases or apply an dangerous amount of map pressure which could result in more than just 2 kills. BT is beside Kindred the second best survivor perk and both are super fair I love and respect that perk, personally.
Inner Strenght synergies very good with Detectives Hunch in order to not waste time searching for totems. So as I said Detectives forces you and the team to do your objective first which gives you the informations where the totems are. Cleansing dull totems is optional and don't gives you any advantage. Inner Strenght gives you the advantage of preparing a heal before you're even injured. So cleansing a totem isn't a waste of time it's preparing. And I personally think it's very important to heal yourself from time to time in a game. And it can become super annoying having no option to heal yourself especially when it results in getting found or downed. But you do it in an efficient way and a very short amount of time. When you run selfcare you are at least 32 seconds completely disabled and hopefully kilelr won't interrupt or hit you right after you were done healing. And hopefully he doesn't run perks like Sloppy Butcher, Thana, Dying Light or Coulrophobia.
So the perks kinda synergies with each other and helps you making right decisions when it's needed the most. It encourages efficiency and right positioning.
But why you just don't run DS, exhaustion perks, Unbreakable, ...?
Running perks which helps you making right decisions based on facts which also helps you position yourself good you don't need perks which rub out your bad decisions which probably lead you into bad positioning and mistakes (once).
And I don't run exhaustion perks because I believe that running these perks leads you into making mistakes by playing cocky/risky because you know that you can fall back to the exhaustion perk XY. And even if that's not the case I think if you learn and know how to play against some sorts of killer and also know how to play different loops and buldings, exhaustion perks probably give you only a few extra seconds. But you could've run other perks which overall helps you out making right decisions even you can't imagine the value of it because it just don't gifts you a whole gen.
They're good but if you know how to chase well these perks won't increase your average chase time at all. Im playing this game also since 2k16 with other 6k hours and the most time I run exhaustion perks so I know what I am talking about.
And personally I don't like one time perks. i prefer perks who helps me throughout the game and not only once, maybe.
I'm glad you like my picks lol
