They have to. Otherwise they're gonna lose like 50% of their player base. Also, there's a new survivor bug! If you're in struggle phase you die prematurely. The amount of times I died for NOTHING today...ridiculous.

Many of us are NOT gonna buy a next gen console that soon, so they better still optimize current gen.

I’m actually appalled that they’d release the game with 10FPS for console which is like half the player base. Do they not play ONE game on PS4 before releasing the update? ONE test game would be enough to tell them: "wow, this is not right. we can't release this like this"

"Disconnection From Host" bugs definitely got better for me (hence why I post don't here as much), but they are STILL happening from time to time. I haven't been getting DC penalties though, which is actually great.

Happened again. I hit a survivor, the game crashed and I got the "Disconnection From Host" message. Another unfair DC penalty. I couldn't get a video this time because my PS4 didn't capture it for some reason, but it was basically the same as the other videos I posted.

Another crash, same day. This time I was about to grab a survivor doing a gen and the animation got stuck. Then the game crashed and I got the "Disconnection From Host" message again. Another 5 min ban for me. I'll stop playing now because I know it's gonna keep crashing until I get a ridiculous DC penalty (my record is 48h).

I was playing Deathslinger and suddenly I couldn't reload his gun and he started walking REALLY slow. Then the game crashed and I got the "Disconnection From Host" message. Got a 5 min ban.

They'd be stupid to not add cross-progression with the implementation of cross-platform; if anything it could be progression implemented without platform.
Pretty sure they'd have to add a login system to the game to add cross-progression, only cross-play seems easier. In an ideal world we'd get both at the same time but you know how the devs are. Plus, data miners only found cross-play in the code not cross-progression, at least not yet.

I have been running a full impossible skill check doctor build and it’s still impossible to beat a 4 man that’s much better than I am.
That's not a good build for going against try-hard red rank survivors tbh.

This is actually how matchmaking is designed. If high rank survivors can't find a match with a high rank killer, the game starts searching for lower rank killers until it finds them a game. This is a thing on all platforms, including PC. Playing killer on controller is not that hard.

"Disconnection From Host" mid-match
This is happening repeatedly after the Deathslinger patch. Happened many, many times to me. My PS4 is plugged in directly from the internet box and I even put my PS4 into a DMZ to see if it would help. It didn't, it's still happening. This is a bug in the code of the game.

I prefer BHVR's original killers. They are very fun, creative and they don't have legal licensing issues

I have social anxiety and it's hard for me to talk to people on voice chat, so it's always solo for me or I'll play killer. I also don't like the fact that SWF is unfair, if all your friends are good there's no way the killer can win unless he plays really scummy

Typically the majority of people who use self-care can’t last 15 sec in a chase. It’s a rinse and repeat process with them.
Get smack go heal (32 secs) just to get smacked again, go down in (15-20sec) hooked, get unhook, spend (maybe 30-40secs) looking for a tree, pallet, or going to the corner of the map to heal, go heal (32secs) finding a gen (maybe 30-40secs) start gen (25 secs in) killer comes get smack - rinse and repeat.
I never seen self-care come it clutch in my games. I’ve only seen it the cause of problems. They might be people who you it effectively, but majority of the people don’t.
As killer I love Self-Care it’s the best treat you can give me not a gens beautiful. In fact it’s the reason why most self care survivors die so easily. I play Ghostface with nurses. I can easily sneak up on you while you’re (32 secs) healing EZ DOWN.
not to mention on console self-care is the same key bond as unhooking and throw pallets. I messing you up more than help you in dire situations.
I run Sloppy + Nurses on a lot of my killers. Whenever someone has Self Care I know it's over for them lmao. Easy free kill

Self Care is a great perk for low-rank survivors who don't know how to loop the killer yet and/or are scared to do objectives while injured. Red Ranks would never run it (ideally) — if the killer comes they'll loop him for days even while injured, and besides, you can ALWAYS find a teammate to heal you. It makes no sense for red rank players. Most streamers are red ranks so that's why you see them talk bad about Self Care. If you're a beginner then it's actually a great perk.
As an example, I'm a rank 1 survivor and I run resilience and adrenaline. I stay injured most of the match (if there's no time to get healed) and I count on Adrenaline to heal me. Remember there's no point in healing while you know the killer is busy chasing someone else. Just do a gen while injured, it's not that scary.

DS is absolutely fine the way it is. Just slug them or eat the DS, I don’t get why ppl act like getting DSd ruins their whole game. It’s just 5 seconds. When I play killer and someone jumps in a locker I immediately open it and eat the DS. Means nothing to me and I know they won’t have DS anymore. Getting DSd is only terrible at end game. That’s when 5 seconds actually make a huge difference. I like the idea of gens being slower though. Gens should absolutely be slower for red ranks. I think gen speed is fine for other ranks though.
