You are right.
But i hope you dont get mad when you get camped, since you play both roles, you should know why does the killer camp.
When i play survivor and get focused/tunneled and camped, i dont get mad. Not even a little. You know why? Because i understand.
Wish all players got this mentality :/
-
Trapper is the second worst killer in the game.
Source: my very first 5 matches played as trapper, bought the game yesterday 😂
-
When you play them? Really bad, at least 1 hook per 3-4 gens.
When you play agaisnt them? God tier killer, maybe even better than spirit.
*Note: this applies to every killer.
-
We know you said its a joke to calm people, but you know this will happen XD
Because its always easier complaining than getting good

No sorry. You are too beautiful to be camped :$

To camp people as Bubba.

I really don't get it. Like it's a very annoying perk to have to deal with and I know some feel like it "rewards bad playstyle for killers" and to some extent it does but that isn't always the case.
I will just use Trapper as an example who has to spend a lot of time setting up and collecting traps. Yes I know some players who use Trapper don't need noed to win before anybody says that but others might. I mean some survivors don't need dead hard or unbreakable to win but that doesn't stop them for using it?
Everybody cries to nerf freaking noed but I do not understand why instead of crying nerf what is so hard about just doing totems? And this is coming from a survivor main who hates noed, but still there are plenty of perks and items that help you spot totems to stop noed from even popping. I do not understand why there is so much complaining about a perk that is so easily counterable.
It doesn't need to be nerfed. It really doesn't. How many times do you see a survivor just notice a totem but decide to ignore it and go to a gen. And don't give me the "i don't have time to do gens and totems" excuse. If the killer has enough time to have to actively chase 4 survivors while protecting and kicking gens, you got ten seconds to cleanse a totem.
The only time its a real issue is when the killer is face camping a hook survivor after gens are done but still if you did totems during the game it wouldn't have been an issue. I really do not understand why people complain so hard about this.
Haven't had trouble with NOED for months I wonder why
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/PBMDBPQWCGGN/20210721-195544-hdr.jpg
Because doing a 4man escape is very important for the youtube video.
Most people that complain about noed are the ones that rush gens.
-
Do bones.
Don't complain about NOED.

@BubbaDredge said:
Because it's not an issue, ITS SPECIFICALLY ALLOWED IN THE RULES.
If you don't like the rules, that's your problem. Devs barely address actual issues, they're never going to address issues that aren't issues.
You are the only person who got it. Congratulations 🏆️

Call me crazy, but those are all reasons to edit someone's post other than 'Duh man's keeping duh truth silent!'
The only thing i said was to stop them giving bps like nothing happens. I think theres no insult here.

Not even DS can fix the amount of tunneling lately. Every match someone is being tunneled to death even after getting hit with DS or BT.
And with almost every match being on Coldwind, there's NOWHERE to go to get away.
If you die quickly even with DS and BT, im very sorry to tell you that you re just bad. Not killer's or game's fault...

Bloodlust 1 start after 15s, I wouldn't call it a great chase if the killer get to BL 1. Now if he goes to BL 2 or 3 that's an other story.
15 seconds without taking a hit? Thats rare those days, you would be impressed

@nursewannabe said:
Here's my copypaste reply to every DH thread:
DH for distance is fine as long as bloodlust is in the game. Remove bloodlust and we can talk about it
Actually, if the killer downs you with bloodlust means you did well. Also, bloodlust freezes some peoples games, so not good at all for them.

No. Thats not being a "pro".
Come on, be honest with yourself. If you get bullied every match as killer, wouldnt you camp as Bubba or something?

Being toxic to others just because someone else was toxic to you is not understandable. It is actually the same thing.
But you are a "main" judging by your threads. Doubt you will understand that.
Unless you re a masochist or a really casual player, theres nothing to explain.

This perk is extremely easy to use but extremely hard to counter. You just need to hook 3 people and then you can one-shot people and after 5 hooks you can INSTANTLY mori a survivor. Finding and destroying this perk takes so long and i dont think it is fair for the survivors.
I think to activate exposed status effect you should need 5 hooks
And to activate mori you should need 6 or 7 hooks.
This perk is not fair for the survivors and really boring to play against. Its unfair right now and it needs a change.
Just nerf this perk or make totem spawns better so survivors can find totems easier.
Yes please, nerf devour hope! Me and my rank 16 friends only know how to repair, what means that totem thing? LOL!
Also devour hope when you are the killer:

Oh yes, like when a killer tunnels a single person, running right past everyone else to hook them then breathes in their face waiting for them to die, taking them out of the game within a minute after waiting in a lobby for god only knows how long to get in. Or the killers who down every player than tea bags them while they slowly bleed out on the ground, forced to wait for the death to hit or DC and get penalized because some jerk needed to stroke his ego. Or the killers who want to ruin this whole event by purposefully speed-running a 4K with as little fanfare as possible so no one gets any blood-points despite multiple cakes being put in.
Don't act like survivors ruin this game buddy. Toxic behavior on both sides. I bet your a toxic killer too, based on your whining.
About the last part, you also forgot to mention when theres a nice killer that wants a fair match for everyone, gets bullied by survivors.
Thats why killers are "bad" those days, which is completely understandable.

I’m not denying or accusing you of anything but yes.. a survivor can cleanse a totem and touch a gen then get tunnelled and slugged off the hook. BT barely gives survivors a chance anymore.. I can count to 12 then put them right back on the hook if I truly wanted to.
So? If you get unhooked and the killer focuses you, run. I dont complain when i get tunneled, because im a main killer and i understand why he does that... People have to stop saying "i play both sides" in the forums memeing and start doing so.
I also dont see people crying in CoD because they get spawntrapped. You ######### up at the start, so its your fault.

Playing since 2016.
Survivors are the power role.
You deserve that Bill profile pic lol.
I believe those people that says killer is the power role only played on nintendo switch or DBD mobile XD
They are also the same people that only play an hour per week, get destroyed by a legion that doesnt even use the power, and then cry about it and close the game, instead of learning and improving.

It's because in most releases it's rated 12, and so is most of it's playerbase and it's merchandise is looked to be advertised towards kids. Also the whole thing is about a chuck e cheese like pizzeria restaurant having a dark secret backstage, so the whole thing does appeal to kids on the outside. There is a lot of fan content created by children like the drawings and fan games. That's where the impression that fanbase is mostly children, and that the game is for kids.
I think the accessibility of the series is what drew a lot of fans in, it was really popular on youtube with youtubers playing it who are watched by many children/teenagers. Because it's concept and execution is very enticing. The first 7 games are on steam for cheap and 2 of them are free, all with very low requirements. I think a lot of adults gave had the same impression of fnaf as they do now, that's it a cheap horror game that uses cheap jumpscares, that only appeals to people that don't know better horror. But when you give fnaf a chance there is more than just that. The backstory is pretty grim, and the books, i have also found quite disturbing.
I do get a little bit frustrated when people still have this impression that's it not scary because "it's just jumpscares" because it is more than that, especially now where the creator has trusted his property with other development studios like Steel Wool. FNAF consists of many stories with pretty grim and disturbing events. They are pretty gory theoretically but they are often not visualised to maintain it's rating. I think the most underlooked thing when it comes to adding a killer in dbd is the actual story of the killer William Afton. He is a murderer who sets off the events of the story and for whatever he does not die, despite being impaled by the springlocks of a robot, despite being burned alive, he still comes back in various forms like being the "glitchtrap" in FNAF VR.
Of course the problem with this is that this is all backstory, secrets that you don't really get by just playing the games. You really have to give the franchise a chance to understand why people really want it in the game.
🏆️ this is for you

Okay if you know what's going on then enlighten me a person that's been playing this game for like 2 years go ahead and tell me what I'm missing
Well, first of all, if you have been playing for 2 years and still think the killer is the power role, you havent learned nothing.
I also have an easy answer for you. Ever wondered why in "red ranks or competitive matches" you only see spirits, nurses and maybe blights with the j-flick thing? And why there arent m1 killers?
-

Have you ever had a match where survivors did all the gens in 5 minutes and you struggled to get even a single hook?
Not all gens in 5 minutes, but doing a hook in 3 gens as a m1 killer is common.

I know cakes aren't super rare, but they are enough of a pain to earn as a survivor that I cannot understand disconnecting at all if you bothered to bring one. I genuinely can't. Maybe they already grinded what they needed to, but then why cake? Maybe they take the game less seriously, but then why DC? It really doesn't take that much longer to walk in front of the killer and suicide on hook to end the game for yourself.
Those types of people are the ones you see IRL and shake your head in solemn recognition of their existence.
Yeah i also dont understand lol.
Funny thing is that those people usually are the ones that complain about the grind, while them dc with cakes, dont want to farm when the killer wants, and also only plays survivor.
I like to sit back and laugh at those people.

Killers hate it because they hate the idea of survivors having good perks. Or anything, really. Meanwhile they run Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer every match.
You can take off ruin and undying from the match, and tinkerer is predictable once you noticed it once.

Dead Hard is probably one of the best designed perks for Survivors in the entire game. The reason I say this is because it requires the most interaction and precise timing of all of the perks in the survivors arsenal as well as giving the survivor plenty of opportunities to use it. It requires you to juggle running, looking behind you and judging when to use it at the most optimal time. If you use it well as a survivor, you get the most satisfaction because the timing to use it is so precise. It also gives Killers the change to interact with the survivor by attempting to have the survivor use it at a bad time. Plus it gives plenty of opportunity to use it badly.
It is buggy because of lag and a lot of times it causes the survivor to end of on the ground, exhausted and the code can be improved. I do think Sprint Burst and Lithe are better perks and will always use Sprint Burst over Dead Hard, however I appreciate the Devs design of Dead Hard and will play it every once in a while. (Because of tunneling, Sprint Burst is the best perk to prevent that and I usually wind up regretting not running Sprint Burst).
I think flashbang is another very well designed perk that allows Survivors the ability to affect the outcome of the game with a perk that is more skill based and usefulness than other perks. Distraction is another well designed perk.
Smash Hit, although it is another perk that requires skill to get the most from it, has the major downfall of it not have enough opportunities to use it. If it gave you 2 seconds of speed after throwing a pallet and 4 seconds of speed after stunning a killer with a pallet, I think it would be better designed because it gives more opportunities for use.

Like what the hell is wrong with the people that play this game? There's an event so killers are playing extra special douchy? Why? What kind of preteen anger has these guys motivated? Game after game im tunneled, 3 out of 4 games as night, I was tunneled through ds, and on my second hook struggling as the last gen got finished, and then I get face camped. I didn't do a damned thing except get seen first. The other game, the killer did the same thing to someone else. So I Pop on today, get a franklins noed Meyers that got his ass beat until noed, where I was of course hooked as the last gen got done, and he snowballed and downed everyone. ######### is wrong with these guys??? Anyone have a rationale as to what the motivation to be extreme douche is?
Im camping everyone as bubba in this event and its really fun.
People that complain about camping killers are the ones that never played killer before. I catch em very quickly XD

For people like you they say myers is bad killer. Instead of using corrupt/infectious, you proceed to use useless bloodhound. Indeed the killer is bad, you use bad perks.
Bloodhound is useful when you are playing your first hours, but nothing else.
