Agreed with Yippiekiyah.
You will hear a specific sound when the item is fully depleted. Only then you can use built to last.
It also doesn't work if you used it 3 times before or if you leave the locker too early.
You need to spend 12/13/14 seconds in the locker to refill it at tier 1/2/3.
It also doesn't refill it fully. It's 99%, then 66%, then 33%.
Yah I know. It just didn't refill

@Yippiekiyah said:
You need to make sure the charges are fully depleted coz even with a single charge left it won’t refill.
Yah it was fully depleted. I used it all to heal a teammate and went to the locker, I watched the progress bar go completely then came out and it wasn't charged

Because its easily avoidable and honestly punishes him for using it xD

BHVR can literally change the win condition of the game so that camping and tunneling are 100% not viable.
Some people are still going to camp and tunnel. That won't change it

They are not saying we shouldn't try to come up with a way to combat camping and tunneling just that no matter what gets put in place some players will still camp and tunnel because that's just how they want to play, so when the time comes and things are put in place to combat camping and tunneling survivors have to face the fact at some point that some players out there that will be dicks and camp and tunnel and they will have to take the L and move on to the next match. It will suck for the survivor but there is nothing more they can do if things are put in place to combat camping and tunneling.
Finally somebody that gets it xD

OK then, but at least let's stop pretending they did it because of DH and let's make the survivor experience not an absolute snoozefedr of a grind again.
They camped and tunneled because they were either in a bad spot and needed to win or they were just bad at playing killer (which is 90% of the time it feels like)

Yes but at least you could somewhat punish killers for doing it. Before they would have to eat a 5 second DS stun, chases would last longer so they'd lose more generators by tunneling, generators themselves were quicker etc.
Now, they have every incentive TO tunnel. There's really no valid detterent ATP.
That is my point. With or without incentive they will tunnel. They can make it as ineffective and lock killers out of their powers completely, they will still tunnel. My point isn't about how to make it ineffective or how to "fix it" my point is just simply no matter what BHVR does some killers will simply just camp and tunnel. Nothing is going to stop it. Bad killers will be bad killers.
-
@OnryosTapeRentals said:
We don't have basekit BT; we have like 5 meagre seconds of Endurance.
Ofc killers are going to camp and tunnel, because they removed any incentives NOT to (e.g. BBQ bloodpoint bonus, reduced DS stun time, faster chase potential etc.)
They were camping and tunneling before the changes as well

"entirely situational perk"
aka being injured in chase
That is the only "situational" aspect of the perk. DH was a huge safety net, a guarantee that even when injured you have the ability to prolong a chase. Before it was fixed I'd agree that there was no guarantee, because sometimes it straight up didn't work.
But they fixed that.
Also, again - """high mmr""" has nothing to do with it. Mediocre survivors could use DH to extend their chases by way longer than a few seconds. If you were using it in the open, you weren't using it correctly. That's on you, not the perk. I don't consider myself particularly high mmr but I know how to use DH properly and my teammates certainly did so, It can't be that hard.
As for the reviews, I take it with a grain of salt.
I had to reread that line over and over again "DH is a situational perk" has to be the funniest thing I've seen on this forum in a long time 🤣 wasn't sure if they were serious or trolling

Pre-nerf DH was completely busted, it completely outclassed 80% of all perks in the game and was so versatile it was ran in 70% of survivor games.
Current DH I don't really know how to feel about it. Not planning on using it
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3086305#Comment_3086305
They nerfed all the killer mainstay perks
Pop, Corrupt, Ruin, Pain Res, NOED, Tinkerer
The meta IS different now. Maybe not in the way you like, but it's certainly different and still developing.
As for survivor perks, the only three big nerfs were DH, DS and IW.
Self care was already bad, they made it worse for some reason
Spine chill's vault speed increase made no sense
Yeah granted DS's stun time being reduced to 3s is bad, that's a change I disagree with but disabled during endgame is completely fair
Both sides run perks to counter each other's tactics, this is not news to anybody - BHVR wanted to shake up the meta to make the game less stale overall. Yes people will camp and tunnel but they always have done. It's part of the killer experience whether we like it or not
They nerfed self care because it has always been part of the meta in Asian servers. I know it's not popular in other countires but it is hella popular there, I haven't seen any Asian players not run self care

90% is really blowing it way out of proportion. It was a popular perk because, whether you admit it or not, it was the only perk that gave some slight utility in chase. 90% of other survivor perks are trash. DH was fun to use. Making a perk way less fun to use in a video game is not ideal, especially when no substitute was provided to help make up the difference.
Do you think a very small dash was OP against a Blight, Nurse, or Huntress (with 5 hatchets) was actually too strong? I don't think so. The mains of these killers never lose, we don't need to conveniently forget that.
Calling it a "get out of jail free" card is just a cheap way of saying you think survivors are not supposed to have anything useful or fun to use.
Killers have always been viable. Too overpowered now.
Lol nice way to try to downplay how broken DH was. No offense but you lowkey just sound like another person crying cuz you had your safety net DH taken away. Killers were always viable yeah sure I'm guessing that's why they had to change original Freddy cuz he was sooo strong and how completely scary and OP Trapper is. I would have loved to watch you struggle playing killer because it sounds like you never touched it a day in your life. Try playing both sides to see each strengths and weakness before claiming to know anything about the game. Playing one side is why we have low IQ survivors killing themselves on first hook because they realize they aren't ######### without dead hard. If dead hard wasn't that strong or OP then why is it an issue that it got nerfed? Even if it wasn't broken it got hit with the nerf because devs wanted a meta shift, go look at any random DBD video made before last week and see 90% of survivors running DH it was overused. Go on and use that lie of an excuse survivors seem to be spewing lately "I nEvEr uSeD dEaD hArD" funny how ever since the update a lot of people say they don't use dead hard and yet it was at least 3 survivors every match using it xD

I would frequently see 4 DH IWs in my killer games and would see at least 2/3 in my solo Q games since I never ran it
DH for distance is super easy to do and was what I saw it used for the most. There was no counterplay to it
It doesn't matter if ur top 0.1%, it takes less than 1k hours to know how to use DH properly. I've seen mediocre survivors extend chases they should've lost purely because of DH.
Some people are too unwilling to admit that DH carried them for years and now they realize they aren't as good as they though. I stopped using DH a litle over a year ago my looping got much better since I didn't have a satefy net perk, a lot of people still need that safety new which is why they are losing. With no DH they can't get away for free and they will never admit that to themselves

DH was not busted. Because a killer streamer said so and the community believed it.
Killers still won a majority of games against survivors that had DH.
DH wasn't busted? Really? Is that why 90% of survivors used it? Because it wasn't a busted get out of jail free perk? It's hilarious how now since killers have a chance to be in the power role instead of the survivors the game is now "broken". It wasn't broken when there were infinites in the game, it wasn't broiken when survivors abused boil over before the nerf. Nah the game is only ever broken when all killers now stand a viable chance of winning.
-
The game is impossible at this point. For once the killer is actually in a power role and the game is fair but 70% of survivors don't want a fair game they want a game where they can aimlessly hold W and press E to win. With killers breaking pallets and catching up a bit faster it gives survivors less time to tea bag and "that's unfair" and no I'm not a pissed killer main I'm a pissed survivor main. I like that its a bit harder, i LOVE the meta shift perks, but you cannot enjoy a single game due to cry babies who can't actually loop leaving the damn game when ######### doesn't go their way
-
Its honestly showing the hella entitlement in the survivor community as of late and been getting insane. To sit there and see half of the people justifying a rage quit against a Dredge using only his teachables. "Oh well killer got nothing but buffs (wrong btw) and survivors didn't get any buffs (also wrong) or saying that its jusified because other killers are camping and tunneling which lowkey hilarious since didn't even get to see if he was camping or tunneling because both disconnected once he went down. Zero reason to defend it other than yall mad because a killer sided patch actually happened and most can't handle it. You read the patch notes you played a few games that didn't go your way so real question is why ready up for another match just to disconnect because you went down? "Oh this game sucks because I'm not winning more I'm not as good as I thought I was so instead of finding something else I'm just going to disconnect whenever I go down"
Get some skill and learn to take an L.

instead of demanding survivors to stop DCing why don’t you think of why they’re DCing, like idk getting nothing in the update whilst killers got about 40 buffs and still play toxic, if a survivor DCs it’s usually because they’re experienced enough to know that the round would end up a slugfest or 4k anyway and be really boring so just want a new round, respect that and leave as well
So why play it? How many times have survivors gained something while killers didn't? Odd when one side gets the short end of the stick they are told to deal with it its just a game but when the other side does they wanna dc and ruin everybodys game because they mad? Oh yeah he was a toxic killer all he did was down somebody xD so toxic of a killer to down somebody

You're not forced to prestige anybody to level 3. You prestige a character to 1 and you get all of their perks unlocked at tier 1 on EVERY other character. If you want to level those you can find the tiered up version of them on the bloodweb OR you can prestige the character a second and third time to unlock tier 2 and tier 3 perks on every other character.
Honestly thank you for explaining this because I thought we HAD to prestige 3 everybody in order to get the tier 3 perks you honestly saved me a lot of time

Honestly this is how I feel about most of the time when I see people complaining. So much of the survivor community were crying about killers crutch perks like noed, ruin, or whatever it maybe at the time of complaining. But they never stopped to think how often they got away due to something like DH. I first stopped running DH after a challenge I had on stream and it really made me sit back and realize even though I escaped some chases without it, it showed me how often I'd get away because of DH so I stopped using it and I've gotten better because no matter how many other survivors cry and complain, DH is the epitome of a second chance/crutch perk. A lot of people in the communiy aren't as good as they think they are once dead hard got nerfed.

Nerfing & changing the meta is fine, but it appears BHVR went overboard. I don’t understand why don’t they make changes in small doses & and move the needle up or down accordingly?? Why do they always put in 2 teaspoons of salt when they really should just add a pinch?? Sigh.

Are you a dev in disguise? lol

Devs said "oh you killers tired of the same old meta? instead of nerfing perks we making OP ones now"
next perk Boon: Screw The Killer. When blessed all generators increase progression by 300%
-
There is no real reason to penalize killers for camping. It's a strategy, it's an annoying low IQ strategy but it still is a strategy. And honestly until the devs know how to actually balance the game I don't even blame killers for camping. The game is so unbalanced and devs keep adding completely broken perks to make it even more unbalanced (boon totems anyone?) killers are going to do whatever they can to secure a kill, just like survivors will do whatever they can to secure a win for them. If getting camped or tunneled bothers you so much this isn't the game for you because it's going to happen. Learn to loop better so you wont be the first one on hook and avoid it all together. That or maybe one day the devs will learn how to balance the game to a point where killers don't get punished for not camping or tunneling

They're learning and everyone has done dumb things when new to this game and don't understand it yet. You're essentially saying you aren't that good so why should you have to be teamed up with other people who aren't that good. By the same logic why should good survivors be teamed up with you when going against a good killer? This seems to be another rant post of I had a bad game here's all the excuses why it was a bad game and I totally did nothing wrong at all and I should only have easy games.
I said I'm not the best never aid I'm not good. There is difference between me missing a flashlight save timing than a survivor who spends the entire match urban evasion on the other side of the map while one person is down and one on hook. There is a huge skill gap between teammates in most matches and that shouldn't be due to how this "skill base match making that isn't based on skill" works.

I was just curious to see how much fun killers were having lately after these past few updates. Like I said I saw a lot of killer content creators move over to survivor for various reasons. MMR, Unbalanced/unfair perks, and an abundance of hackers. -
They don't want to admit they don't know how to fix match making so they erased ranks so nobody will complain
-
"It takes too much time to do totems"
*gets unhooked runs across the map and spends 32 seconds self caring*
I spend most of my time playing survivor and seeing nothing but time being wasted. SWF enjoy goofing off pointing and tea bagging at each other or at the killer sometimes. But doing bones take to long. I've been hooked and everybody just slowly crouch walking along the corners of the map. But doing bones take too long.
Ya'll for real just stop making excuses yes in DBD every second counts and if you have time to goof off you have time to cleanse the totems you see on your way to the gens. If NOED pops and you are that salty about losing a match, open the door and leave the dude on hook to die. And come on its not even like you need to even survive the match to pip up or anything.
NOED is an annoying perk but not even a strong perk. Its easily countered by simply not rushing gens and taking a few seconds to cleanse totems. You got ways to spot it and you got ways to cleanse quicker. If you choose not to do it then okay but don't get mad or salty you go down to noed.
-
@KajdanKi said:
I dont mind NOED at all as I check totems and usually play with map in game due to huge amount of Hex:Ruin and/or NOED.
What disgusting is about NOED is killer players theirselves. They almost allow to finish all gens, defending their totem at all costs, then when they have access to noed buff they down one and camp him until other comes to try to help him.
Now, if you have good survivors everyone goes look for a totem , if not they mostly lose their lifes to that killer -> he gets PIP , he ranks up and makes high tier matches a GARBAGE.
Those kinds of matches are very boring - killer is not challenging at all, you can loop him while having a shower or eating a dinner.
The killer is 99% relying on NOED if:
- high rank and still cant catch ppl on loops
- never breaks a chase to stop gens being done
- defending noed totem at all cost
- not caring about gens at all
- simply bad behaviour overall
- camping and tunneling
End game chat excuse:
- "you gen rushed me so i tunneled at camped" (since beginning of the game, yeah)
How to make his life miserable:
- check for totems when going from gen to gen
- if somehow you cant find noed totem, sacrifice the poor guy and leave - do not let him get more points
Amen
At least somebody gets it xD
-
The facts still stands
1) NOED 100% counterable by doing bones. You see one, cleanse it. If every survivor does it boom noed is gone, and if you don't trust your randoms, small game/detective's hunch/map mutiple ways to spot them yourselves.
2)Noed isn't a free win or a free kill if you take the time do bones and even if you cleansed all the bones and noed wasn't a perk they had, congrats you got some extra BP
3)Noed exist and is "bad design" because of the killers who do not have to ability to patrol 7 gens while pressuring 4 survivors at once. Killers who cannot run across the map or teleport to a spot at will are at a huge disadvantage to do their job as a killer. NOED isn't a bad design and it isn't broken or OP its just a lame perk to go against but completely understandable as to why some killers use/need it.
4)Most survivor mains want to throw around stuff like "a killer can't always expect to get a 4k or always expect to win" well guess what survivors neither do we. You lose because you didn't cleanse a totem so noed popped? Oh well suck it up and start the next match. You win some you lose some.
You can hate going against noed and find it annoying. Nobody is saying you need to like the perk but its not strong its not OP, its extremely useless throughout the ENTIRE game and even in the end game if you just cleanse a totem. I mean to be fair a killer can have you on hook, dying, last gen pops and somebody unhooks you and your adrenaline pops. You are fully healed. You want to say noed doesn't have a counter whats the counter for adrenaline? Just curious what makes adrenaline fine when there is NOTHING a killer can do to stop that, but NOED is sooooo bad even though you can stop it? Whats the difference here?

And get all 5 as a solo q, when your teammates ignore them, and some of them are in some of the most out of the way places possible?
Then you got screwed over by bad teammates. If everybody just cleansed the totems when they see them as they should in the first place, noed would not be an issue yeah it sucks for solo queue, which i am running most of the time, but still i just throw on d hunch and use common sense

@CapricornZeus3 said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/267635/why-is-the-community-so-up-in-arms-about-noed
Because you have to cleanse all 5 totems if you want to get rid of it before endgame, and in solo q that's nearly impossible, I thought for the longest time noed was assigned to one random dull totem and if you cleansed it, it was gone. But no... it's all 5 totems, yeah I could wait until endgame to cleanse and see which one is lit up, but I'm not going to remember the location, lol
So cleanse it when you see it? If you aren't being chased, you have the time to sit there and cleanse a totem

Small Game, Detectives Hunch, Maps, Counterforce all can be used to COUNTER yes counter NOED. If the perk doesn't pop or get used because survivors cleansed the totems in order to prevent it from being used, that is countering it oh "but go off"
Yeah, and not ever touching a gen is technically a counter to Ruin.
You can't just say 'this makes the perk lose value', you have to look at the applicability of the counter. That's the problem with NOED: It's got two counters, one of which works, and the other is 'jUst dO bONes'.
'Doing bones' does not make NOED lose value. Only the fifth totem makes NOED lose value. All the other ones you cleanse don't hinder NOED at all, and in fact might actually help it. You know how people complain about totems being right out in the open and very easy to spot? Yeah, if you cleanse that, you know for sure that NOED is not gonna go there and is instead going for a better spawn.
Doing bones doesn't do anything if noed isn't there or it takes too much time if noed is there. Just like the rest of your post, an excuse. No matter how annoying noed is, its not even a good perk to run since most survivors with 40% brain function can find a totem and cleanse it on their way to a gen.
If they do that, good for the killer. Means they're not actually going for the 5-cleanse and are instead wiping out the weak totem spawns to goad NOED into a godspawn.
On multiple occasions, I worked on a gen right next to a totem and made the conscious decision NOT to destroy the totem, in case there was NOED. And on multiple occasions, I finish the gen and the totem lights up. If I'd only had 40% brain function and cleansed the totem, the team would've had to hunt NOED down instead of cleansing it 14 seconds after the fifth gen pops.
What a lovely and yet extremely far assumption of a statement. Plenty of killers I go against run noed and nobody carried anybody
Oh, sorry, hang on...
its not even a good perk to run since most survivors with 40% brain function can find a totem and cleanse it on their way to a gen.
So if the killers you're going up against DO actually bring NOED fairly consistently, I guess you're in bottom green ranks? Yeah, you don't need your teammates to carry you there, so my assumption was wrong.
Don't blame a killer for using a perk that this game legit holds your hand to get rid of
Did you read literally -anything- I wrote or is this another 'Just accept the perk tax' thing?
you need them to nerf it.
Says who?
I keep saying it needs a rework due to its trash-tier design. As it stands, it doesn't do the alleged job of making totems a secondary objective, for all the reasons I mentioned.
You opened this thread with the title of 'Why is the community so up in arms about NOED'. You're already coming into this with a pretty aggressive opening post demeaning pretty much everyone else, and when I explain why you are wrong, you flip a lid.
This is why NOED gets people up in arms. It is the worst designed perk in the entire game, by a country mile.
No Mither included.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2378013#Comment_2378013
Point 1 here also deserves stressing: On top of NOED being a killer's freebie with an unintuitive counter mechanism, it is a supporting act to facecamping, the biggest problem the game has.
Your whole argument of noed being too strong because of having to "waste time doing and looking for totems and realizing the killer doesn't have noed" can be argued about the 3 overly used survivor perks that are powerful for just existing. A killer waiting a few more seconds before hitting a survivor because he "might" have dead hard adds up, a killer having to ignore a survivor for 60 seconds because he MIGHT have d.strike adds up, a killer waiting 12 seconds to hit a survivor who was unhooked right in front of him because he MIGHT have borrowed time, adds up. You are aware killers can have their time "wasted" do to survivor perks that don't even need to be used in order to be effective right? And yes this is coming from a survivor main who understands the power each side has because i play both sides and not only complaining about "my side" killers and survivors both have perks that can waste the others time without even needed to be equipted. The treat of the perk alone works for both.
And yes face camping is a problem not nerfing noed is not going to solve that in anyway and face camping is far from the biggest problem this game has with all the balance issues bugs, glitches, face camping is an annoyance that some killers use cuz they wont get a kill any other way. I have no idea why you think changing a useless perk like noed is going to prevent camping. Camping and tunneling will always be a thing hence some perks using to counter that oh but wait for your logic i forgot Borrowed Time or D. Strike doesn't counter tunneling because "having to use a perk to turnnel a perk isn't a counter"

Everybody cries to nerf freaking noed but I do not understand why instead of crying nerf what is so hard about just doing totems?
The problem with 'just doing totems' is that it is not a counter to NOED. Everyone likes to repeat the tired old meme of 'just do bones', but it doesn't actually work that way, since in 90% of cases, doing bones either does nothing or actively makes NOED more impactful.
Doing bones ONLY counters NOED if you manage to get all five totems, or if you manage to cleanse 3 or 4 and you know and can easily access the last one or two totem locations.
Doing bones gets no reward if you cleanse 3 or 4 totems and you don't have the last totem locations. This situation makes NOED stronger if the last totem location is a godspawn that no one can find.
Doing bones makes NOED stronger if you cleanse all 5 totems and the killer doesn't have NOED equipped. It becomes a stronger slow-down perk than things like Dying Light or Thanatophobia, without even requiring a perk slot.
The more you invest in it, the bigger the cost is if you fail to get all five totems against a NOED killer. It's by far the hardest perk in the game to counter due to the sheer investment required, no matter how often people will drag up the tired old 'just do bones' meme to downplay how hard it is to counter.
It doesn't need to be nerfed.
We're not necessarily talking about a nerf. Sometimes things aren't OP, but they're still incredibly bad design. That's when that thing needs a rework.
That's what NOED needs. You want survivors to do totems? Then you better change it so that the guy who did 4 totems doesn't get OHKO'd by this thing, because that'll teach him -real- fast that it's not rewarding to do totems.
The only time its a real issue is when the killer is face camping a hook survivor after gens are done but still if you did totems during the game it wouldn't have been an issue.
What about when the killer facecamps -before- gens are done? Because then you need to genrush AND do totems at the same time! It's almost like NOED helps turn facecamping into a lose-lose situtation!
Haven't had trouble with NOED for months I wonder why
Because your teammates carried your behind and the killers you've gone up against don't equip NOED.
Don't assume you countered NOED just because it didn't pop at the end. At the very least, you let it slow you down -massively-, at the worst, the killer didn't have it and you wasted everyone's time.
I run DetHunch with Inner Strength. I do my totems. The 5-totem counter to NOED has succeeded -once-. All other cases, the killer didn't have it, or I didn't get all 5 totems done in time. I've had a greater success rate killing NOED off by -NOT- doing totems and waiting for it to sink into a totem that I know the location of, situations that would've been made infinitely worse had I followed your advice and settled for 'doing bones'.
If the killer has enough time to have to actively chase 4 survivors while protecting and kicking gens, you got ten seconds to cleanse a totem.
It's 14 seconds, but go off I guess.
Small Game, Detectives Hunch, Maps, Counterforce all can be used to COUNTER yes counter NOED. If the perk doesn't pop or get used because survivors cleansed the totems in order to prevent it from being used, that is countering it oh "but go off"
Doing bones doesn't do anything if noed isn't there or it takes too much time if noed is there. Just like the rest of your post, an excuse. No matter how annoying noed is, its not even a good perk to run since most survivors with 40% brain function can find a totem and cleanse it on their way to a gen.
"Because your teammates carried your behind and the killers you've gone up against don't equip NOED"
Oh yeah my teammates carried me in every game and no killer I go against don't equipped noed"
What a lovely and yet extremely far assumption of a statement. Plenty of killers I go against run noed and nobody carried anybody, I guess I just had teammates smart enough to do totems and do gens. Don't blame a killer for using a perk that this game legit holds your hand to get rid of but you need to be cradled to have everything nerfed to hold your hand because you cannot "COUNTER" and easy perk to counter and instead of having a lack of skills or brains you need them to nerf it. Noed is annoying its not strong, its not op, and legit just punishes gen rushing and people who just decide to walk past an obvious totem because "oh its not worth my time"

If you can't easily cleanse a totem, or in this instance, deal with NOED directly... I'm sorry for you. It is an almost useless perk with no proper application or augment to a Killer, yet you can't exploit that? Shame... it isn't that difficult, even on solo queues...
Every post you said is completely true. Most survivors (not all) refuse to learn how to counter something or the even dumber route cry that is isn't fair that you have to use a perk to counter something that the killer can do. All I hear is "this is too strong nerf it" or survivors complaining about "rewards bad play/second chance perks" but hold on tightly to their meta build that is 3/4th second chance perks. There is nothing preventing any survivor to use any of the perks or items that counter something as stupid and simple as cleansing a totem. "Oh there isn't enough time to cleanse a tottem" excuse but yall waste how many seconds tea bagging a killer at the pallet or some stupid crap. I cannot tell you how many games I watch survivors follow the killer as he's chasing somebody else or just hiding behind a rock for nearly 30 seconds at a team multiple times but they come up with excuses that "there's no time to do bones".
People complaining that its uncounterable and you don't have time to cleanse a totem, how often are you on a hook and you see 3 other survivors in different parts of the map just urban evasioning? Or just crotched behind a tree or a rock? How often do you tea bag and click flashlights at killer or follow them in hopes of a pallet drop or flashlight save? There is plenty of time to find a totem. The devs made perks with designs you asked for to find totems and stuff and you still complain about having to find totems?
This game is filled with "I am bad going against this perk/killer so they need to be nerfed." For the love of god people just play the game learn how to counter and stop crying

Yeah once in a while, not sure why. Perhaps they feel the Killer they're running is weak and need the late game comeback or, just trolling, idk.
That baffles me too, I always question when I see rank one use it lol

What teamwork? You can't work together if you can't communicate. All you can do is throw the trial tripping over each other, or leave someone to die unfairly.
Edit: Seriously, you're trying to claim that totem hunting makes me dumb?
never called you dumb, just said either poor teamwork or just not as good as you think you are
and you don't need to communicate for good teamwork. I just had a game earlier today where on solo queue we all got a face camping/tunneling Spirit to rage quit cuz we worked as a team to protect the ace while she was tunneling tf out of him, no communication but still worked together.

And we know only survivor mains are allowed them.
Yeah it's another page in the "Survivor's Guide for Killers on DBD"

It's not, actually. It's crappy game design that only works retroactively. And I bet your escapes would shoot up if you stop wasting your time and let whatever teammate is also trying the same thing do their thing.
It can't be a coincidence that every time I put on a totem build and try going for totems, I lose more trials. Every single time. That is what is known as a "pattern", and what is linking them is "doing bones"
Is it a coincidence that why I use Detective Hunch I don't see noed pop and about 60-70% of the time i escape or even if i die 2-3 teammates leave? Maybe you just aren't as good as you think you are or the fact stands that you or the randoms just ignore totems. I have seen so many ppl leaving and winning games even against noed but it should be nerfed just because it ends in a loss for you and poor teammwork?

If there was a perk that blocked the gate switches until all 5 dull totems were cleansed, it would be significantly stronger than NOED. Now do you understand?
Or do you enjoy having to use perks and SWF Comms to counter perks? Because it doesn't work in solo que, I spent most of the event (a time when everyone plays sweatier and solo escape rates go up) trying various builds to cleanse totems and suddenly my teams started dying at 1 gen all the dam time. Funny, that.
I get by just fine without SWF, and yes using perks to counter perks is the point of most perks. Just like perks that counter killer's powers too. Maybe you've just had bad teammates, your teammates are bad so lets nerf killer and their perks funny that >_>
