You need to disable/enable it from the main menu.

Trickster is moved slightly to the right, obscuring his winking eye. I've also noticed he stands as tall as Trapper in that "mode", despite him being way shorter than Mr. Macmillan.
-
Shouldn't Lucky Break help with this in case you do get found?

They did it with Leatherface though. You can argue that "well it's a killer" which is true, but shows that they have done in it in the past.
Though, I'm not giving Bhvr crap, I want to make that clear
Still though, I think we would've had Bubba for free, as opposed to him being the paid DLC we have now. That's not the same as "giving away" a reward that wasn't achieved.

I like this idea, maybe 300-400 towards Survival if you are in chase when a gen pops.
Not to toot my own horn, but I see no legitimate downside to this.
Originally, I thought 600 per generator, which would add up to 3k when all gens are done, + 5k for actually escaping to max out the category. A lower score event would allow for other events such as a self-heal, DS, and so forth. But it still has to be a significant number.
400 would be an ideal number, I think. 2k for all gens + 5k for escaping, leaving another 1k to be filled with additional events.

They'd need to pay the actors for their likeness, which would definitely cost a lot.
In the context of the movie(s) they appeared in, the actors don’t have the rights to their own face. J.L. Curtis doesn’t own her “Laurie” appearance, the studio does. It’s weird, but it is what it is.
-
I still believe all living survivors should be granted somewhere between 150-600 Survival BP whenever a generator is completed, regardless of if they worked on it or not.

This was posted on DBDs Korean Twitter, it has since been deleted but was saved :)
There ya go.

Laurie is getting a (substantially) better model. I’d look it up for you but I can’t recall where it came from.
I’ll come back if I do find it.
-
I had no idea who Bubba was.
-
All well and good, but the where is more important.
-
On the large majority of DbD maps, there's absolutely nothing beyond the trial's borders. The RPD doesn't have the same walls as, say Macmillan Estate, so it's more apparent there's nothing to see there. To my knowledge, this is the second map with any props beyond its borders at all. The other being Dead Dawg Saloon.

The Game is the sole reason I run Brutal Strength on M1 killers.

Dunno if it means anything to you, but this was posted on twitter.

I can personally attest that a huntress with no actual TR can scare the solids out of me.

Another testament to what I've been saying for some time: just because you can change something, doesn't mean you should.
They stated in the post itself that the images were the same ones posted on twitter, and were outdated. There is (some) hope.

It was eerily close to the Leatherface release
I am aware of that, but even so. We could’ve gotten Bubba for free had players achieved the goal.
Besides, Bubba is a far more substantial reward that a pallette swap. It’s understandable that they wouldn’t want to throw away an entire license just because a community goal wasn’t achieved.
-
Wes is a character that is made to be bad at everything except for a very particular niche exclusive to him. Not sure how that would work in an asymetrical PvP setting, as opposed to a mostly PvE setting.
That said, The Silent for next licensed killer?

They're not going to go through the time it takes to create the skins, advertise them as a feature of the event, and then be like "Sorry guys, you were 570 crowns short! Better luck next year maybe?"
They aren’t particularly intricate skins though. They’re quite literally a pallette swap of their default outfit.
Besides, there has been an event before where the community goal wasn’t achieved. If I recall correctly, that was the fall masquerade.
-
The description for Madeleine's Glove suggests you can at the very least still control when Victor pounces. It'd be very weird to just let him pounce without seeing what he's looking at.
-
@BrodieDBD said:
There is no community challenge, it's just a way to get people playing the game and grinding crowns. They will give the skins out to everyone when they feel like it.
Ah yes, pessimistic speculation. Why on earth would they lie about something this small?

sure if he was buffed to comepensate like running through walls and jumping.
You do realise this would require a complete overhaul of the entire game's movement systems and terrain to allow for this?
-
Though it’s unlocked by default, I would personally highly recommend trying to get Kindred. Especially if you’re a solo queuer like me.
-
The ironic thing is that this map may be the most static map in the entire game. The layout, to my knowledge, is always the same.
-
I haven't played yet, but the manurestorm on these forums lead me to believe it calls upon the entity to significantly increase the chances of crashing.

He even has a little buddy.

I literally put it in the OP
Threads got merged, I replied to another thread.
-
Huh. Well then I don’t know what to tell you.
-
Which character did you do this with?
-
Maybe have his traps apply the Hindered status effect when stepped on? I feel like that would make sense and would make instant escapes less painful for him.
Right now it’s just: your leg just got crushed? Just sprint away on both feet like nothing happened.
-
Only perks can do this. Ghostface’s Furtive Chase and Oni’s Nemesis can do this.
Alternatively, survivors may use their own perks such as Decisive Strike or For the People, from Laurie and Zarina respectively. Though that’s largely out of your control. If you suspect there’s a DS, you can eat that.
-
I still find this whole lullaby thing so strange. Why does he have it in the first place? Why does it sound so similar to his normal TR?
Huntress, Freddy, even Deathslinger have distinct cues. Why is Trickster's so vague?
-
Well, then I don't know. I just made a guess with my very limited knowledge of coding.
-
I think the why of this is honestly quite simple. The tutorial unequips all your perks and cosmetics. It probably applies this to all your characters. Therefore everyone on that side is “blank slated”. I’d presume if one were to only do the survivor tutorial, their killers would be fine.
I doubt they’d implement this intentionally for the purpose of removing glitched cosmetics. They want to deny that game-wide. Why limit it to such a specific thing the player can just not do? I understand the pessisimism, but that’s just madness.
-
I don't think they'll release stats about something that is just bad and unwanted, regardless of what they actually look like. It's just depressing.
-
Last year I P2'd Demo during the event, and I must've gotten over a hundred cakes in total whilst getting him back to 50. I still have some on him.

It like never happens successfully all the time. Like u never have a key be successfully used on you more than once a day or even once a week. Out of maybe 1000 killer (survivor main so dont play killer often) I've gotten a key used on me maybe 10 times
Then why do I see so many keys lately? Of course they don't work all the time. The killer will go out of their way to make sure they don't, should it come down to it. Now that Franklin's no longer destroys keys, in a 3-gen situation with 3 survivors left and the survivors have even the slightest wrinkle in their brain, the survivors will know a key is in play. They will search for that key, will find the hatch and by the time the killer catches on to what's happening at least two are on their way to get a free escape, one guaranteed.
Rare occurrence does not equal balance. Especially when it cheats one side out of an otherwise deserved victory.

Keys are balanced and fine. Moris were fine too. Moris and keys balanced each other out perfectly but now they nerfed l. Anyway keys are still fine
1 bad thing + 1 bad thing = 2 bad things, not 0.
Mori's were absolutely not fine. They were cheap and promoted scummy playstyles in the name of "efficiency". They are not nearly as strong as they used to be, but for the time being I'm okay with that.
How is an item that grants you the ability to just adios out of a match instantly under not all that uncommon conditions balanced?
-
A killer somehow managed to find his way into my pre-lobby screen and kept coming back in an attempt to keep me from playing. Had to switch to killer myself to shake him.

Something I don't see being pointed out. They very clearly said, "During the Anniversary Event." Does that mean the leaks that they wouldn't stack are all about after the event ends?
I doubt they implemented a limited time duration on such a specific aspect of a limited offering. Previous years' cakes also stack(ed) after the event was done.
-
He's definitely hooked some bots when I tried it out. Theoretically, they could die, yes. However, considering that Mr. Machete Man very regularly missed swings and got looped by the Claudette for the better half of a generator... I'd say only if you actually sandbag 'em. But I don't see why you'd want to do that.

This has to be in response to that one leaker's post about the cakes. Nonetheless, hurray!

Hagatha
Humtress

Freeder
Piggeth
Ugh (Spirit)
The Leg
Neutral Special (Slinger)
Bleet
Victor’s Vessel
A ballsy man (for playing Trickster)
From this thread, I will now be using Angry Napkin and Phineas as well. You have my thanks.

Key. The hatch closes after 10 seconds when opened with a key.
-
With an extension of a single day? I don't know what the actual reason is, but 1 extra day, if anything, draws more attention than if they kept the dates.

Just a bad mechanic which shouldn't even existed. It is ludicrous that it once presented itself as a necessity.
I am positive that holding the game hostage was not as common as perceived to be.
Just because it didn't happen all the time doesn't mean it was unnecessary. Holding the game hostage indefinitely shouldn't be possible.
-
Ah yes, let's remove the face of the game. Just after he got his visual overhaul too.

Why do I have the feeling this has something to do with that secret of yours?
