Tinkerer is only a problem when paired with Ruin and Undying, both of which are Hex perks that can be removed. Afterwards, Tinkerer is hardly a threat.
Meanwhile, DH being used to reach a pallet or window is something that cannot be countered.

I used to. Every single trial.

And then you'll go down against easier people. But if you dont play your opinion doesn't really matter as we should focus on those dedicated and actively playing (no offense)
Agreed.
-
For some reason, if the killer is an Oni it is instant death for me.
-
MMR is very bad for me, because it only has 1 possible outcome, where it gives me the sweatiest people possible, some of them much more skilled than I am.
And this makes the game so ######### boring!
Thankfully, I am not even playing DBD anymore, so it doesn't really matter what happens to MMR.

Damn I love deathslinger's personally. Can't argue with Hags being one of the best though
Well, I never liked Deathslinger's but I do understand where you are coming from.
As for Hag, she is the queen of moris!

Here is mine, I suppose:
-
Honestly, I just want the bigger profile pictures that some 2018 members have.
I need them.
-
They are powerful, but that is the point. Ultra Rare add-ons are expensive in the Bloodweb, but can turn the tide of a match.
Besides, they used to be way stronger in the past, BNP in particular. Though I miss the old Insta-Heal, I would say they are not in a bad spot right now.
-
Myers is fine, and so are his add-ons. If he gets changed, he will end up with an overheat mechanic, paired with useless add-ons that only work if you get blinded after stalking someone.

At this point, I think what happened is either that the company didn't want to offer the license renewal or they did and Behavior didn't wanna pay the price. Both are fairly likely imo.

Ain't that the truth lol
It sure is.

I’m aware it means further licenses are in question but tell me have you ever seen a good designed licensed map? This opens up the chance for the devs to add a map that’s original and actually well designed.
OG version of The Game was well designed, at least in my opinion.

They should pull Freddy too seeing as how he's a joke and nowhere near as threatening as he should be. Good job Stranger Things. Demogorgon was very weak anyways.
This is my opinion. No disrespect to the devs.
I mean no disrespect, but this is the worst opinion I've ever seen.
-
Yeah, the game won't die because of this. DBD is more successful than it currently deserves to be.

I see. Good reasons. I don't know what your mission is, but I wish you good luck for it!
Thank you, I appreciate the support!
I consider my personal mission to bring Old Freddy back to the game. That is the reason why I joined the Forums in the first place, on August of 2019.

I only miss a few licensed chapters, and I didn't buy them because I didn't care about the characters. I think I'd be sad for new players who could want to buy them... But I won't leave because a license is gone.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2434071#Comment_2434071
Actually, I think they could do maps which take inspiration into the license. Like, nothing's wrong about making a laboratory map... I prefer original maps tho. The licensed ones are often the worst to play. (I'm looking at you, Haddonfield!)

I'm just curious: if you left, why do you still read the forums? Not judging, just curious as I said.
3 reasons why:
-My friends in here.
-I love what DBD once was, merely hate what it currently is.
-My mission is not yet accomplished.

I agree, and that's what worries me.
Even if this winds up being an isolated incident (which I hope it is), this is not something that should be celebrated. This is something that should cause players concern.
Agreed. Regardless of the reasons those licenses joined the Fog in the first place, money comes first in this atrocious we live in, and if the deal stops being lucrative the license holders will not hesitate to quit.
The only thing we can do is hope that a situation like this won't happen again.
Off-topic: It is so damn good to see you again, my dear friend! I missed you.
-
Depends on your opinion. ANOES is my favorite chapter by a very long shot, and it is a licensed one.
-
If they barely talk to us about minor changes, imagine talking to us about something as delicate as a license.
-
Nothing. I've already left the game for different reasons, and this is all I can do
-
Truth be told, all of them are in constant danger.
-
I remember the first time I loaded on this map.
It was during the Stranger Thing's PTB, and I was playing against a Legion who, quite often, got lost on its hallways. Unaware that Demo would eventually become one of my most hated killers, I was excited for the Chapter at the time.
If, or when, I return to the Fog, it is going to be weird playing without it.
-
Nah, the game won't end because of this.
Truth be told, DBD is currently way more successful than it deserves to be. What is currently happening is a devastating blow to everyone, but that is as far as it gets.
-
That is an awful thing to come home to.
I am sorry for you, my friend.
-
I don't there will ever be a replacement.
And, even if the devs create one, deep down it won't feel the same.

I love this game, I truly do and I’ve been annoyed with it. Take some time off. But this is the first time I’m truly heartbroken because of it.
Yeah, this is a situation unlike anything we've ever seen.

I've been playing since beta, so i've been there amongst the true infinites, forever Sprint Burst, machine gun Killers etc.
And i'd still say this might just be the worst thing to happen to the game in general, even if i don't really care about any of those characters.
I definitely agree with you on that one, my friend.
I've been playing since late-2018. Though not as old as you, I've seen my fair share of bad things, such as Old Legion, Old MoM, Freddy's rework, and so on.
But nothing comes close to this.
-
This is a very sad and unexpected situation, even for someone who was never a fan of its content.
-
Yes.

Is something happening to Hawkins in 3 months?
Stranger Things is partially leaving DBD, which means that Hawkins will no longer be playable.
-
This is a very sad situation. I will cherish the memories I have with this Chapter, regardless of how annoying some of them are.
-
They will just be made generic.
-
Nope, just like when they retired my precious Splinters.
I haven't forgotten that bs yet.
-
Demo has always been one of the most unfun, and sometimes miserable killers to go against, in my opinion.
However...
That doesn't mean things should happen the way they currently are. I feel bad for everyone who loved this Chapter and its characters, and hope BVHR finds a better solution in the future.
-
Nah. You know I can easily live without Spirit and everything released after her, but Hawkins was tolerable for the most part.

Wait why is your pfp no longer Freddy
WHAT HAPPENED
Decided to give my "number 2" a chance to shine, at least for a little while.
Not that it really matters, since I barely know what is currently happening in DBD.
-
Welcome to the land of exile, my friend.
We shall wait for a reason to return to this Fog, which we once called "home".
-
In terms of sheer strength? PH.
In terms of design? Freddy on-release.
-
Yes. I managed to hang out with some friends that I hadn't seen in a while.
It was a very fun experience.

Partly because the time it was meta was a time barely anyone was comfortable being injured because no one knew how to loop. Imagine good loopers with the perk always being fully healed.
Not quite, my friend. Remember that the Self-Care meta itself lasted until 2018, and back then we already had many experienced loopers.
If it worked once, it can work again.
-
@GannTM said:
Please no
I think it would be a good idea. Self-Care used to be meta in the past, and it was perfectly possible to deal with.
-
No.

Big brain advice right here
It sure is :)
-
You can't be screwed by MMR if you are not playing DBD.
-
You know, my friend, when you don't care at all about the next chapter this whole situation and debate suddenly becomes very amusing :)
-
I could go on here for hours on end explaining how stupid the Fog currently is, and the advantages of the old ambience, and blah blah blah.
But I suppose everyone has already heard those points, and agreed with them, so it is up to the devs now to fix that mistake.

Getting use out of Devour Hope at its max. potential.
If i kill even one with it and it gets cleansed right after or the others escape, i'll still feel good about what i accomplished.
I have to agree with you on that one. Getting that Devour Hope value is always a win.
