I genuinely do not see how so many people thought it was gonna be FNaF. Like where did this come from?
The first letters were S I A R and people were like "OMG IT'LL SPELL SPRINGTRAP!!" and then when the E was released full copium mode kicked in going "WAIT IT'S NOT HELLRAISER IT'S GONNA SPELL "I ALWAYS COME BACK"" despite there not being an R there??? Then the teaser came out today and despite the TV resembling what shows up when the cenobytes arrive at the hospital (I think that's what happens anyway) they saw the number 1987 and ran with it
EDIT: Wait no I forgot the "HELL" spectogram teaser and instead of doing the obvious (Occam's Razor) they were like "LADS THAT'S WHERE AFTON IS IT TOTALLY MAKES SENSE"
Thanks for explaining! I can see why people might have thought Springtrap after the S I A R, but after the E came out that should've probably put an end to the FNaF speculation IMO.
To be fair this was posted to the official DBD Bilibili channel so it's hardly a leak
A leak in the sense that the devs accidentally let something slip. From what I understand, we only have hard confirmation now because that platform the vid was uploaded to also shows file names.
So can someone tell me in a few sentences what Hellraiser is about?
And preferably in a spoiler tag so as not to spoil other people, like so...

Howdy!
I personally don't care about spoilers, so don't worry about that while writing.
Copying this answer from @StibbityStabbity in @dspaceman20's thread. The spoiler tag hates copying and pasting, apparently, so skip this comment if you don't want to be spoiled.
Okay @ImmersedNurse I accidentally quoted Violet twice, edited the comment but you won't get notified so look up a bit to see how to make a spoiler tag
It says 360p that obviously means 360 and pcam, which obviously is the gameplay of fnaf, that is all you can do look around, the p means pcam which a pcam is what you would do to close the vents and whatever else to avoid the screeching bunny.
Obviously fnaf.
Now this is actual hate towards the fnaf game not the community.
In all seriousness though, imagine on the PTB launch day people expect to see Pinhead and instead they find this yellow animatronic robot staring into their eyes.
That'd be the biggest "######### you lot" ever to the community.
Assuming you've heard of the phrase "taking the high ground"? Or being better? Sinking to the level of who you're trying to claim to be better than is the one way to prove you are not better than them- if both sides are so openly hostile then they're both as bad as each other.
Tldr: This is an archived version of the DBD forum, it has all posts, comments and media. The archived data will be published at the end of October. This site is not in any way affiliated with or endorsed by Behaviour Interactive.

Pretty good job so far, honestly.
Well that put the final nail through my head, I guess i'll have to wait until next year for Springtrap.
I’m ######### hyped. I hope they got Doug Bradley to do pinheads voice if he has one in the game and to see Ashley Laurence’s character as a survivor
I mean, we all know which chapter it is by now, it hardly seems relevant.
A lot of people thought it would be Hellraiser but people were determined to say it was FNAF.
Everyone knows it's Hellraiser. I don't believe anyone genuinely thinks it could be anything but, they're just saying it for their own reasons.
I don't know I think they've done a pretty good job so far.
I wasn't the one overdosing on copium
HeY gUYs I thInK iTs SPrinGtrAP
Could of had me fooled
I really couldn't tell if its fnaf or hell raiser
Guy's I know this looks bad BUT HEAR ME OUT
Sadly the leaks point to a paragraph, I'm hoping they are wrong.
You have too much faith in humanity.
BHVR really needs to stop getting their content leaked lmao
Hopefully it is Doug Bradley and not Goodwill Pinhead.
My guess is that people confused desire with reality.
my god, don't jinx it. Last thing I want to see is
Not that it pointed to it but it overlapped with fnaf needing a bit more to make me set on it

Lol, not all of us are hostile or leaving
Edited with a bit more too
"Hey guys this is the hellraiser teaser, see if you can figure out what we're teasing! 🤗"
Wonder if this counts as attacking.
@Itslat3ncy
Quite ironic that you call us hostile, yet you're literally being hostile right now with the way you're talking.
I don't even care if it's not FNAF, I'm happy for those who wanted Pinhead, he's one of the most wanted characters in DBD.
"Hey guys this is the hellraiser teaser, see if you can figure out what we're teasing! 🤗"
Lol, looks like the mods know the jig is up and are just rolling with it.
Do I want to know who this is directed at..?
EDIT: Just saw your edit and this makes a lot more sense
To be fair this was posted to the official DBD Bilibili channel so it's hardly a leak
The post was merged, it was intended to be a reply to @Itslat3ncy.
Thanks

Wrong person
It seems that the only ones who were hostile were the ones against it.

If you open a puzzle box, beings from hell show up to bring you with them to be tortured for eternity. Hilarious and wholesome hijinks ensure.
How do you make a spoiler tag?
This is for all the fnaf fans right now.

actually this spells on FNAF so we're still in for a springtrap paragraph
Thats a good one.
Must be on PC to do this
Step One:
Click this
Step Two:
Step Three:
Step Four:
Write in that, just be warned it hates copy/paste
Please I am this close to a mental breakdown

EDIT: Nevermind lol
also Springtrap was raised from hell so that means Springtrap confirmed omg

Yeah being hostile back doesn't make you any better, it just makes you worse.
