Pig is the triple S killer from the game
Small
Strong
Serverly needs an addon pass
How about...Severly nerfed for no reason over the years?
-
With the way I feel about map reworks, my Tier List is as simple as it can be:
-
I second what everyone else has said in here.
Freddy tells a very sad tale. He started as the most unique killer in the game, whose power had a borderline perfect design...Only to be undeservedly nerfed after a week.
Then we get to the Old Freddy that most of us remember, who I dare say was the most underrated killer in Dead by Daylight's history. And eventually he got reworked and became this boring abomination that we all know.
Not to mention his most recent nerf, which failed to address the main issue.
What else is needed for the devs to understand that we need Old Freddy back?
Ah, if only DBD belonged to me...His on-release version would have returned by now.
-
Plague, if I recall correctly.
-
Well...I don't know.
The game wasn't worth it for me anymore because it looked nothing like the game that I fell in love with back in 2018, but that has nothing to do with tunneling and other scummy tactics.
-
Well... at least there is something positive on this sea of bad changes.
-
Reverse stuns are gone? Ah, that is sad.
I actually liked them. They were a nice little trick, that had been in the game for quite a long time.

I feel like something like that should have happened for me and The Twins, but I just cannot bring myself to consider them genuinely good, knowing what I do about their counterplay.
Same. I don't think Twins are as strong as most people say they are.
-
I wouldn't worry that much about it.
In my opinion, the last good map to come out was the original Family Residence, and even that can be debatable.

Yeah I’ve gotten my fair share of salt. It can happen with anything in the game, not just Spirit.
Indeed. Though when it comes to Spirit people get extra salty, for some reason.

Imagine getting angry at someone for playing as a specific killer.
Yeah, imagine... It is sad that it still happens, but that is the DBD community for ya.
It was a little bit less severe in the past, but it still happened. At least in my experience.

Not sure if I consider this appreciating Spirit but I guess I’ll take it.

Who wouldn’t like watching Spirit gameplay?
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2505165#Comment_2505165
Oh really? I didn’t know. I’m glad to hear that :)
Yep. I don't mention it very often, because some people might get a little angry, but it is true.
-
Yes, I remember that quite well because I was one of many players to have said that.
We were eventually proven wrong, obviously.
-
"The Spirit drifts into the night, her wild windswept hair dancing in the dark."
Oh, sweet sweet Spirit, how can most people hate this killer while I hold her so close to my heart?
Not sure if I ever told you this, my friend, but I mained Spirit for some time. She was one of the reasons why I didn't leave DBD after Freddy's rework dropped.
And I am very grateful for that.
EDIT:
I even have this screenshot that I've found. Not sure when it was taken, but it is nice to have this little moment of the past recorded.
-
Well... SBMM making things worse was expected.
-
DBD sucks since 2020. Whatever this new update did, it was mere salt to the wound.
-
Bubba, Ghostface and Huntress have a very high chance of being traitors. Some players, myself included, learned the hard way about this fact.
-
It used to be Nurse, Spirit, Blight and Wraith. Not sure if the situation has changed.
-
I ignore them as a Survivor, and kill them as Killer.
I know they can be dealing with a bug or replying to a random message on Discord, but I simply cannot resist those free points. And that isn't DBD-exclusive. Back in the days of CS:GO, I had the self-proclaimed title of "AFK Hunter".

The new MMR-based SBMM is the only reason I didn't drop DbD after the 5th anniversary, and it has delivered on my commitment. No longer do I have to deal with 4-minute trials. It's pure joy.
You are quite lucky, my friend. I dropped DBD prior to SBMM introduction, and its existence definitely isn't an incentive for me to return.
-
I used to love Brutal Strength and rarely took it off.
It feels so slow without it.
-
My longest DBD match happened years ago, and it lasted for over an hour. Back then, there used to be a glitch which the community called "Infinite Mending Legion". This video may help you understand:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tT9X-oTj7es&ab_channel=CowsIAMNow, pair this with my team's stubbornness, slowdown perks, and a very weird gen-stalemate and you get GeneralV's longest DBD match.

Hot take: Freddy is now one of the worst killers in the game.
In terms of fun? Definitely.
The sorry state of my favorite killer is one of the reasons why I've left DBD. I just...couldn't stand it anymore.

It was somewhat understandable with forever Freddy but now Freddy is just average at anything he does unfortunately
I think DCing because you didn't like someone else's build or character is just wrong.
The only exceptions are when bugs and other unintended features come into play, such as Infinite Mending Legion or that weird glitch with Breakdown.

I only agree on Coldwind's case, autohaven looked like garbage.
To each their own. If you somehow enjoy the other reworked maps, then more power to you.

You being a Freddy main and me being a Spirit main, I’m sure we’ve both dealt with that many times.
So much so that I've lost count long ago.
-
Imagine DCing because you didn't like the killer smh.
-
That was expected. I knew it would eventually fail.
-
They could stop and revert everything, ya know...
It would bring me back to the game in no time.

We tried, my friend. We really tried.

Link post for context!
Nah, I am too damn lazy to find it. Feel free to search for it if ya want to.
-
Evolve? No no, DBD has reached its best state a very long time ago, and it couldn't possibly go beyond that.
Just like a Pokemon without a Mega: once it reaches the final stage, that is it.

I said that from the start and yet I got witch hunted saying I can't just saying I can't base my opinion off their past actions but I most certainly can and it seems i was right like i knew i was
The witch hunt sucks, but at least you were right in the end.
-
When I played DBD, my goal had always been to master Old Freddy and have a lot fun.
-
Because they realized what I already thought would happen:
SBMM wouldn't make matches "fair", it would make them sweaty and less fun. Most tests proved that.
-
I don't want to say that I warned everyone, but...
I did.
-
Hey there, my friend. Good to see you!
-
"The fun factor was already low and this new MM is making it worse."
That is exactly what I thought it would happen, judging by how awful the MMR tests were.
I was surprised when everyone seemed to like it, but I guess that isn't true anymore.
-
Huntress is fun.
And that is about it.
-
This cannot be...
That abomination is working as it should????
-
Old Freddy. Always was, always will be.
-
He used to be.
-
Honestly, I never wanted MMR due to how awful its "testing sessions" were.
However
MMR can't get to you if you are not playing DBD, so I am good.
-
The last time I've experienced SBMM, it was not a pleasant experience. I don't know if it is any better now, but I doubt it is.

I feel you, man. I was maining Spirit before I got into Freddy, and man does he feel super boring after his addon rework.
Add-on rework? I was actually taking about his stupid power rework in 2019, but I suppose that works too.

That's mostly your brand at this point.
You're like the old man of the forums. In a good way.
Thank you, my friend :)
I am probably the most old-fashioned player the DBD community has ever seen.
And I love it.
-
If it has "old", GeneralV is sold.
Save a few exceptions, obviously.
So yes, I miss them.
-
Yes, though it requires a lot of time and dedication.
-
What were your best memories of this once great killer?
I don't even know what is currently going on with Spirit, but this is something I can share.
Not many people know this, but I mained Spirit for some time. When BVHR ruined Freddy, I had no one to main. No one to have fun as.
Spirit presented herself as an alternate solution. And I took it with no hesitation.

So instead of waiting at max 2 minutes to get full points etc., DCing to get a 5 minute penalty (and nothing out of the match) is understandable?
Ok!
Don't be like that to me, my friend, you know I despise DCs.
It is just that this one is easier to understand than others, if you look through the killer's POV.
