I will forward this, due to the contents, I've edited it out, but I made sure to take screenshots to forward it.

I'm a double chad (Myers and Huntress) that's the epitome of mediocrity (Pig)... .. . :(

Okay, so I think the comments are a bit enough.
@DominiqV In your case it actually falls under griefing if you were forced into farming when you didn't want to and/or were farmed when you tried to play the game normally. If this does happen again where you feel like you were being forced or griefed into farming or had to e.g. do all gens on your own to leave, you can report the players and send additional evidence to support.
To everyone else here: Farming is not fun for everyone and it can quickly escalate into griefing, which it did in the case of OP that they used to explain why they feel the way they do - they didn't want to farm, but we forced to do so. This is not okay, it is griefing. Please be mindful of this and play accordingly; if someone noticeably does not want to farm, forcing them will do nothing but possibly get you and others banned.
-
Okay, locking this as it's been answered.
-
If do you it repeatedly, that can become bannable. It is highly recommended and advised to play the game the way it is intended, as going AFK does ruin the game for other people - going AFK once or twice due to an emergency is fine, but not over the course of multipel rounds. That can become bannable for not playing the game.
-
If you'd like to request a refund like this, you need to contact the platform you purchased them on, however, I'm not 100% sure if it can be refunded or not, but if anything, you need to contact the platform you did the purchase on.

Despite not being tagged, here I am!
I can recommend you two YouTubers to check out that both are trans! Samantha Lux (mtf) and JammiDodger (ftm) (Jammi actually has a PHD in those kind topics and statistics, too, as he studied in them and other things!)! You should check both channels out, their videos are really good and they do go into some science stuff when they talk about the less nicer parts. There are quite a few studies that specifically touch on the subject of gender dysphoria, not gonna get into it too much, as I don't want some people to get possibly theirs triggered!
It's a bit of a complicated topic, but basically, trans men are real men and trans women are real women and they're all valid, including those who are nb/trans masc/femme c: It is not always necessary to transition either... it can be costly for some and in many countries it's very very tedious to do so, many restrictions, the wait times are insane in gender clinics... it's complex and I don't wanna get too much into it, as it can get lead to extensive discussions, but it can be hard. Not everyone also wants to transition and presents themselves in other ways, which is also perfectly fine and doesn't make them invalid! Everyone feels different, it's not a black and white thing actually either.
Identity is also a whole different boat, too! Be who are you most comfortable as... That's the best I can say, if you feel good with yourself, that's awesome, I'm glad! Showing interest is also good, it's always good to have an open mind and wanting to learn!

Like it has been said before, you do need to make a in-game report and depending on the offense, also send in video evidence. You can read here for more information: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
In-game reports are mandatory though, without them, a case can't be looked into. There is no feedback about reports, any actions are kept private and not everything shows on the profile (e.g. Steam shows a game-ban, but softbans won't show up).
-
Just for you to calm down... you won't be banned for simply tunneling, even if someone has the charm - if you were not breaking the game rules, you're fine. If you didn't target them for this and didn't break any other rules, you have nothing to worry about. You can read here for more: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
But seriously, you don't have to worry - if you played the game normally, even if you tunneled, you're okay. Tunneling is part of the game. Targeted harassment is a bit more complex and takes more than tunneling someone.
False reports are also discarded, as they're that, false reports.

Hey, if you've lost progress, please make a support ticket about it. You can read here for more and how to submit it: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000454543-Help-I-have-lost-my-progress-

Hey, I'll be locking this thread, because this is very speculative and we have no answer we can offer for this. Please refer to official outlets to see if anything gets posted there, but let's not speculate about someone's possible passing. Thank you.
-
This is a very big reminder to keep threads on topic. I had to delete a page worth of comments as they were not related to the thread in any capacity, so please keep it on topic and don't talk about other people when they're not present.
-
I'm messaging you.

In this scenario, the person leading the killer to the person hiding is working with the killer to kill he other, which makes it a bannable offense under the rules. The killer utilized the help of the survivor to find the hiding one to kill them off - clearly working together on both sides.
For the one hiding, if they were not doing anything at all in majority, that could possible fall in a greyish area. It's a bit more "difficult", but it really depends. The working with the team is definitely bannable though.

Hey, for bugs and things like that, please report them here so they can easily be looked at: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs If it already has been posted, make sure to upvote the post

Sport Flashlight for Meg, as she's a runner and flashlights can be useful for running.
-
It is not breaking any game rules, this is not bannable if you decide to kill them, even if it's after farming, etc. You're good in this scenario, as no rules have been broken.

I already reported him ingame but I thought I could post the video here.
Thanks for the feedback anyways.
Please read our forum rules: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/137-forum-rules We have a section for name and shame - posting videos with names visible like that for exposing people has no place here. Please just report them in the game and send additional evidence to support, not here. Do not expose people here either.

If you experience any bugs or whatsoever, please report them here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs That's where to report bugs in. Make sure to check first if it hasn't been reported already.

You should not lose any progress, as your progress from both accounts get merged and put together basically. However, if you do end up unlinking them, both accounts will return to their original state they were before linking them, so this is important to keep in mind. If you do have other questions, they might be already answered here actually: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/sections/360011470571-BHVR-Account-Cross-Progression

Hey my friend is still having the original issue I posted (it was merged with this thread) where she has had no network connection error since the last update. Tried everything and she opened game again this morning and it's still there. Please help
Hey! Your friend can make a thread here if they're still experiencing network connection issues: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/technical-issues It might be something technical, so someone might be able to help.
-
Please report this there, as this might be a bug: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
-
Hey, the issue has been resolved and connection should now be restored! It will still be monitored to make sure it's stable.
-
No, they are not. They just might be inexperienced players. Only the mobile version has bots, but not the core game.
-
If you have any bugs you'd like to report, then please report them here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs That's the place to go to.

If you assume you experienced a bug, please report it here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs

Disconnects should be used only in emergencies or while experiencing game breaking bugs or rule breaks that make it impossible to continue the game (which is why the penalty starts out slow). Just because you dislike a round that is happening does not mean you can just DC without any consequences - it ruins the game for four other people still. There will always be games people might not have fun while experiencing them, but that can vastly differ from person to person as not everyone is the same.
I will be locking this thread, as it's rather asking to allow rule breaking behavior, which won't happen - DC penalty is here to stay and DCs have greatly reduced since it's implementation overall (BHVR has posted stats in the past).

Feedback and Suggestions exist for a reason - it's for feedback and suggestions users create FOR the devs about the game. The community team also forwards those kind of things to the developers and to have dedicated sub-forums is the best way to easily filter out what is a suggestion or feedback and what is not, hence why that sub-forum exists.
That is why threads, that fall under either of those categories, are being moved there. The Forum is not only a place for the community to hang out on and discuss things, but also a place for the community to post their ideas and feedback, in an attempt to express their feelings towards the game, what they think could be changed and how things can be changed. It makes it easier for the Community Team and Devs to go to the dedicated category and read the posts.
Being able to quickly sort through what is Feedback/Suggestions and what is not, is important here, as it's a matter of time, too. Just like how he two sub-forums for Bugs and Technical Issues instead of just one for both, because they require different kind of attention. In General people might discuss their favorite things about the games or awesome designs they love, etc. Or they want to rant, which they are free to do so too. They all have their own appropriate functions for pretty much the same reason: Organisation and being able to immediately determine what it's supposed to be.
If you do intend to give feedback on the structure of the forum, then please post it here, as this is the area we would be checking on for Forum Feedback: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/forum-feedback
-
Hey, please post here for technical issues to get help: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/technical-issues < That's where technical issues go.
-
You try to appeal your DC ban here: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000836752 There is a section for it in support.
I will lock the thread and refer you also to the technical forum, as you seem to be experiencing technical issues: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/technical-issues Make a thread here, a mod might be able to help you. Please try to resolve your issues first, if nothing works, you can still send a ticket to support later requesting technical help, but I recommend trying the sub-forum first.

I said before they put the DC penalty in, "Please differentiate between someone pressing 'leave match' and their Internet going out. It's easy." And they didn't do it, so now we have to see several posts like this in a week.
It's been explained before that systems like this generally can't tell the difference between an intentional or accidental disconnect/crash (e.g. internet outage, error in the game, etc.), as there are ways to intentional ones at accidents. Hence why the penalty starts slow and increases slowly and steadily, so players can try to resolve their issue first instead of continuously trying to play the game if they know they experience issues. It still ruins the game for other people, even if it's accidental.

just to clarify game sharing is game sharing i get his games but not his game data if that makes sense for example i played death stranding via game share but i didnt go on his playthru i went on mine so it logically doesnt really make sense if i had his stuff which i dont even have all the stuff he has
With gaming sharing on a few platforms, you can use things such as bought DLCs too, but you have your own save file. This is the case for DBD as an example when it comes to sharing games. You can access the bought content, but it is your own save file with your own progressing. But your friend owns the bought content, basically.
-
He might have bought some of the things with Auric Cells or Shards and Stranger Things as a DLC. That might be it.
-
Every platform but mobile is called "core" (core game), so mobile as of now is the only platform with bots in the game (aside from the upcoming tutorial we saw in the PC PTB). They're different teams and both games work differently in some aspects.
I will move this to suggestions, as it can be seen as one - you're free to wish for a feature like this as suggestion.
-
If you think you're facing someone that's hacking or cheating in any way, including what you described, please report them in the game and send additional evidence to support: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us
Here are the game-rules to read for more information: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
I saw someone said bodyblocking is bannable, it is not. Bodyblocking a killer while they're walking to the hook is not bannable, neither is it bannable if you take the chance to bodyblock a survivor for a few seconds in a corner to hit them. It only becomes a problem if it's for longer than a few minutes during the game and before end game collapse.

I can't really tell if it's running properly because the rate isn't visualized...😟
Hey, the MMR has been deactivated yesterday! Check here: https://twitter.com/DeadByBHVR/status/1403381573601345540
Your feedback is however greatly appreciated though, as in your original post it was during it's activation. Feedback has been forwarded from the community to the Devs about MMR.

We're not going to forbid people to post their feedback if they don't meet your criteria. This is a open forum for people to access that play the game, whether they have 300 or 3000 hours... They are allowed to post here and there have been great suggestions from people that are considered "casual." Most people that play games are casuals! This includes other games and DBD. From my own forum experience as a someone who's frequented different kind of game forums/portals as a user, majority are casual people that are really interested in the game and want to talk about it. Whether it be giving suggestions and feedback, talking about a games lore or other things.
So in short, Feedback is always appreciated. No matter if it's from a casual person or a "hardcore" player that plays 8-10 hours every day. This is an open forum.

The Forum is not the right place to discuss these kind of topics, as they generally devolve quickly into naming and shaming. Also, in the rules it is clearly outlined that we don't discuss any kind of consequences, including those kind. It is between the content creator and BHVR.
-
We know how these usually end from experience and we end up cleaning those kind of threads up, a lot. The forum is very clear on the stance of naming and shaming, whether that be about individuals or content creators - if a post highlights anything negatively and someone's name is shown, there is the chance people will go after them. Otherwise people can post something they perceive as bad (they think xyz has broken rules, etc.) from an individual when it isn't and it can affect the person mentioned. It has happened before and it still does happen. That is why we close these kind of threads.
The Forum is not the right place to discuss drama between content creators or what not, there are other places you can utilize for this but the official platforms of DBD. If you have anything you want to report in regards of FW, then you can contact support for this, but not post it on the forums.
Discussing dramas, whether that be between well known users from the community or content creator, has no place here.
-
There is no way within the game to do this as of now. You are free to make a suggestion about being able to change backgrounds here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/suggestions

I stepped on a tree root and broke my foot. Ironically enough, I was climbing sharp stones with no problems, even climbed up the Sedona canyon a bit with sneakers (don't recommend) without hurting myself, but that tree root was my demise and I ended up walking around on it for 9 weeks (3 of those were on vacation in Phoenix, AZ) before it got diagnosed.
Another personal track record I have is how many times I've got hit by cars and two buses. I think I was hit by about 4 cars (nothing major luckily) and one bus when I was waiting for a bus on the train stations bus stop and the driver decided to drive in a bit too close where people are standing and it struck my arm. The other one was when I was walking home and I was walking past a bus stop in that moment, the bus driver did not honk, which was unfortunate, because some buses have low mirrors that are perfect to target my height. Luzi, meet window side mirror. Window side mirror, meet Luzi. It was pain and confusion. There wasn't much space for me to walk somewhere else and I was a bit further too, on that day the bus decided to stop a bit further in the bus stop too.
I'm not sure if this does not possibly imply that I might have been cursed. But on the regular I almost get hit by cars.

One day I decided to cut my nails on legs little further than usual. So I cut all nails normally but after several days nail on my right toe has grown into the skin. It become very painful, it caused inflammation, so it only was cured with little surgery.
I never cut nails too deep since then.
This sounds painful!! It's one of my worries when cutting them or my fingernails, agh... Ouch!
-
The Forum is not the right place to discuss these kind of topics, as these tend to devolve into naming & shaming really quickly, we're not having this discussion on our platform.

Congratulations to the upcoming wedding!! No suggestions from me really, but I could definitely see DBD inspired clothing though that is incorporated into the outfits!
Decorative garland with bloodpoints/different kind of perks hanging of off them maybe?

If it's an issue. Remove it? instead of being so insistent on why you need it. There is little to no issues why dcing is a problem. using a little bandaid like banning players for something so little makes no sense. if the player isn't having fun in their match why punish them for leaving? making games is to have fun. not to be aggravated by so many game issues. remove ranks then it wouldn't even be more of an issue. ranks mean nothing. no reward no nothing. just a simple red symbol. 5 years and there is still no rank rewards that was promised. 5 years there were supposed to be more objectives instead of doing gens. still nothing. also believing that this game has a competitive scene makes me laugh.
Disconnecting intentionally ruins the game for other people and before the system was added to the game, disconnecting was a really big issue and since the penalty has been introduced, it has gotten better. It's there for a reason and it's not going to be turned off.

If you believe you're being harassed and targeted over several courses of rounds, please report them in the game with proof. You can read here for more: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/kb/articles/139-game-rules
