I really appreciate the attempt, but I fear we are caught in a cycle of despair by design.

This game is meant to pick at our ego and the cycle of revenge is endless.

Ironically, The Entity enjoys our misery and our anger as well.

Ok. It's PS4 has major issues with healing trophies.

Deranged Pursuit got altered back with the May 7th update due to Legion's tweak, but obviously the achievement descriptions cannot be amended.

I don't understand what you mean by that first statement, but yeah they altered the achievement a bit because of Legions update... but it still doesn't make up for how the description was completely wrong...

That's why it took so long for anyone to get the achievement, because nobody knew what the issue was and just wrote it off as the achievement being bugged... but in reality the achievements description was just wrong...

That's how I was the first (or one of the first) to get the achievement! 0.01% ftw!

That's my point exactly, it never should of been tied too the Archives in the first place. Changing an entire portion of the game is guaranteed too have bugs, and tying the event too it is simply a bad idea IMO.

Tbh, its better to have it tied to the archives than how it was last year...

I can still remember all those suicide by hooks because their vials were completely finished... And of course most people were on Killer so getting the Killer vials was a nightmare! It got so bad that they just decided to change it half way into the event to have both sides pool their vials into one goal rather than separate it...

I literally was like, 5 vials from being done on Killer... than the same day they release that update to have both sides get vials for one goal... I was really... really... really... not happy about that. Of course though I realized later that it was better they did that than not do it at all. I prefer that others don't have to suffer with how long lobbys took to load.

Trust me, it's better this way. It's not as big of a deal as everyone is making it, it was just an unforeseen issue that caused it to happen... I'd prefer they did postpone the event to fix the issue than put the update out as a broken mess... wouldn't you?

  • PC, the achievements are bugged for almost all the platforms.

I'm not sure why... some of them even had descriptions that were COMPLETELY WRONG! "Cough Deranged Pursuit Cough"

I kind of find that odd how this isn't really being fixed, I mean its not a massive priority so I can see why it never really gets handled until after a bit of time (Of if enough people talk about it or a post gets popular enough to get the devs attention.)

  • @fluffymareep

I mean, scared and surprised are two different things when it comes to surprise pallet stuns. Have I ever been genuinely scared as a Killer? No since there isn't anything to be afraid of when you're in that role.

Have I been surprised by someone who magically was at a pallet and throws said pallet on me with no warning? Yes, a lot of us have... Some Survivors are weird, and they'll just pallet game assuming it's keeping them safe or something.

Most of the time though I moonwalk into them and just hit them and have them waste the pallet on top of that lol...

  • @Floydfan47

Here's the honest truth, from someone who actually just completed it after doing a spree of No Mither runs to get it... (literally I finished that achievement like 30 minutes before this post was made.)

To get the Wounded Healer trophy, you need to heal Survivors that're injured or dying while you yourself are injured when healing them. The way the perk is supposed to work is that you'll heal people into each different "tier" or state... like for example healing a dying person to injured, than healthy, or just healing a injured Survivor to healthy would reward you with points towards the achievement.

No, it doesn't work off of 0% to 100% or anything like that, you can heal someone who's at 99% and it'll count towards you healing them fully, but the problem with the achievement is that it's heavily bugged and most of the time will not count your progress... It also seems to count your progress but display an inaccurate number to reflect your current score...

So it's honestly unknown how far you're with that achievement and other achievements that revolve around healing... mainly because things that revolve around healing like dailies, those achievements, etc... seemed to be bugged and don't actually keep score towards your daily or achievement... In the case of the daily, no it doesn't, but in the case of the achievement it's inaccurate and mostly ignores most of what you've done in a game.

Your best bet is to get lucky and face a Legion, they'll constantly be damaging Survivors and you'll easily be able to heal everyone with perks that increase your healing speed and med-kits with great add-ons that increase your charges and even healing speed!

You should also invest in No Mither (I know, its crazy to actually recommend this perk to someone lmao...) but having No Mither will constantly keep your injured, so you'll be able to get the perk done without fear of accidentally healing to full and missing out on a heal...

The game is constantly moving when you're in a trial, so being injured all the time is the best way to always know you're working towards the progress... when it wants to count it of course.

    important info

ALSO, you shouldn't be discouraged when someone else is helping you heal an injured Survivor that also counts towards your score. (When it wants to count your points of course... since it's bugged and doesn't work properly)

    ending statement

I only need Taking One For The Team, the longest achievement and i'll be done!

But besides that... unless you're 100 percenting your entire achievement list like i'm about to with the last achievement I need... than it isn't worth bothering with this achievement unless you REALLY want to get that sweet 100% completion like i'm going for.

I never said it wasn't. What I said is that Events should not be tied too such major changes too the game. Because now there is no event AND no mid chapter patch, where as if it was separate people would still have the event too tied them over until the Battle Pass is ready.

Actually, because of how the event is tied with The Archives... this isn't possible. You can't get the vials from The Archives if for example The Archives isn't in the game yet...

I guess you could add the event to give the spoooky effect to the game before The Archives is released to have people do something? But that's not really an event if... the main purpose of said event isn't there.

Most people don’t think or care how big the team at BHVR is. All they know is the event is postponed and that’s disappointing. Customers don’t care about the details of the business; they just want the product or service they’re paying for.

Kind of narrow minded if you ask me.

  • @KillermainBTWm8 said:

We also need to remember that BHVR isn't a huge Triple A company that has A TON of resources. That can also contribute to this.

I think its more so because a lot of people think their team is huge, but it's actually not. (Aka, what you said but people think their team is big regardless if they're triple A)

So in turn they believe an issue will get solved in a day or two, when in reality if your team consist of not many coders for example... than it'll take more time since not many people are looking for the issue.

  • I mean, due to how many lines of code DBD has from just 3 years alone... I can see why it would take some time to find the issue.

Some people like to think "Oh guys look, we got BHVR'ed again!" But the real issue stems from the time it'll take to find the issue within the code itself... I don't see why some people can't see that and instead think BHVR is out to get us or something? But what they're doing is actually improving the event and our experience so we can enjoy it...

I guess some people like game breaking bugs? Or they don't care if they can still play in a match. But what if the game breaking bug was like you said... where the game won't even run? Than what? We just need to be patient...

You can't please everyone of course, so it's not like I wasn't expecting people to be mad about it...

  • I don't dodge any lobby's, most of the time I don't even pay attention to the players that're loading into said lobby's because I'm on another tab (That tab being the forums for DBD itself)

I could careless if someone has legit or fake Legacy, or if they're a toxic Nea squad with flashlights, or if they're a gen rushing team with toolboxes. You can't avoid these things forever, so you should just face it head on. (Literally)

That was exceptionally informative and helpful! Thank you for your well-thought-out response!

It’s good to know that they stack. I haven’t gotten to play much since rank reset, so I’m still pretty low-rank at the moment. If I were to try stacking these otherwise useless perks for a bloodpoint bonanza, right now is probably my best opportunity. If I earn many pips, there goes my chance at a decent performance with these perks during the match!

    Thanks again!

    No problemo.

Thank you for the well made answer, although I'm sad that this cosmetc won't make a return I do hope they give david some longer coats, as the only ones are locked behind old event stuff or just the one cosmetic.

In the future, they'll probably have more coats for him. The only ones that exist is the standard one, that old event one, and the donkey jacket which you can only get now through a steam code or something.

  • @yobuddd

Here's how it works, the percentages DO stack up with other perks, but it's not entirely worth it so you don't see people using things like distressing with BBQ... etc...

Allow me to explain, BBQ at Tier lll gives a flat 100% bonus when you hook all 4 Survivors in a match at least once, the same goes for We're Gonna Live Forever when you rescue 4 Survivors off the hook (It can be random) and wait until you're given the "Safe Unhook" bonus afterwards, you also gain tokens when you take a hit for someone with WGLF.

The point is though, BBQ can stack with all other BP perks, as well as offerings like Puddings and BPS (Bloody Party Streamers) But the reason nobody uses the other BP perks with BBQ... is because they're quite niche and worthless to have in your slots as a Killer.

I highly suggest you don't use perks like Distressing to increase deviousness by 100%, Beast of Prey which gives 50% to the hunting category, etc... Since besides BBQ and these other perks... there isn't many BP perks in-general... and the ones that do exist are terrible except BBQ because it gives a aura reading WITH the BP gain.

That's why nobody uses Distressing, Beast of Prey, etc... Because their passive ability's are horrible... Just stick with BBQ and a BP offerings like pudding or BPs and you'll be fine tbh, the other perks are so bad that it isn't worth it...

If you want, you can use Hags BP add-ons, Myers Scratched Mirror, LeatherFace and Billys Speed Limiter, Trappers Padded Traps, etc, to gain more BPs with your regular perks, but that's up to you if you want to cripple their powers to gain more BPs.

  • @jieryn

Like @JiggleWiggle said, it's tied to your PlayStation account and is its own separate account on BHVRs systems. So you can buy the digital download and 100% expect your progress to still be there!

  • @swamptrash

It should come before November, but there is no official ETA so its unknown if what I said is true or not.

We won't really know until they give an official date, so you'll have to just be patient... It's best not to rush the project and give us a broken mess, i'd prefer a polished release imo... So it's good they're doing just that!

  • @Blu3_Phantom

No, mainly because these are event exclusive cosmetics now. And since BHVR has no intentions of making anymore events that're centered around event exclusive skins (Like the Lunar Event, the Summer BBQ event, etc.)

It's so that if people who can't attend these events don't feel left out if they missed exclusive skins to THAT event, like for example this Lunar Event skin for David. I personally would love them to continue doing event exclusive skins, but to be realistic, its something that shouldn't come back due to some people not having time, they're busy, etc...

Will BHVR do these in the future? They've said possible, but its highly unlikely.

Will they bring back that specific jacket though? No, not at all i'm afraid.

    short answer

No, because this jacket for David is an event exclusive cosmetic now... And BHVR isn't interested in doing event exclusive cosmetics anymore. Mainly because some people might be available to grind for them, and since the community's getting bigger that's becoming more of an issue.

  • @antgnstea

I can't give you an exact answer to your problem, as it could be caused by many things. It could be your connection, Dedicated Servers, or even your connection not working WITH the dedicated servers...

And other things like that, but what I can do is direct you to the support team with the support link. There, you can submit a ticket and see if the support team can assist you in your issue if you give them a detailed write up about it!

    Here's the link: https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us

  • It could work, since if you stack 4 Vigils on top of each other it's 60% to exhaustion and other status debuffs... (It doesn't stack additively so it won't increase to 80%. The oddest stacking for a perk I know...)

So having 1 Vigil could actually be more worth it for a perk slot in theory.

  • @ocafghanistan

This ones easy, no it doesn't because the "Killer Instinct" notification isn't classified as a aura reading. It's actually the same as when you fail a skill check, vault a window fast, drop a pallet, or jump into a locker while holding shift.

It gives a noise and visual notification, so it's classified as a notification rather than a aura reading. If say the Legion hits someone in his Feral Frenzy mode, it'll activate his "Killer Instinct" which highlights where Survivors are with rapid noise and visual notifications... These are not auras, so Distortion will not cancel them out i'm afraid.

The same goes for when GhostFace is knocked out of NightShroud.

I definitely agree, I can imagine a bug where a survivor is permanently invisible to the killer!

Wait, wouldn't this bug stop tbaggi— nevermind, a PTB will nessaracy! :P

The idea of a PTB around one perk though is kind of... not great for the dev teams resources though? So I'd imagine it would be paired with other PTB changes, like a new Killer, a rework or buff, etc.

  • @NMCKE said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/777855#Comment_777855

This is where you have to judge distance as the killer and assume what exactly is 16 meters. 😁

Having this knowledge, when you're around 8 meters to the Exit Gate, you can have a persudo Whispers if you walk to an Exit Gate and it suddenly shows you the correct amount of progress.

What does that mean? Well, that means the last survivor is no longer invisible, and they are within 16 meters to you — start looking! 🤓

Collision can be hard to program, but the developers had done it before with pre-rework Freddy. It might take some time, but it's something worth taking a look at! :D

It could work, but the thing is we'd also have to have a PTB for one perk... Since if the perk has massive game breaking bugs than you'd need to see that before it goes LIVE...

Or a lot of Survivors will magically find some work around or something, who knows... Some people find a lot of hidden quirks in perks you wouldn't expect.

I was always playing enduring/SF combo a month ago but i decided that the hit were not earned you see what i mean. I want to get out of the meta as much as possible. Flicking is it your word for curving or it is a technique i use by with different name.

Flicking is the proper name for the technique... or if you will "curving" can be another name for it. Flicking is tricky as it's not as good as it once was back in 2016... But here's a tip you might find interesting.

If you turn your mouse sensitivity all the way to the max! It actually does change how tight you can turn with Hill-Billys chainsaw for both options (That be, mouse for turning or using Q and E to turn.) That might make it easier for you to flick, or worse depending on how you look at it.

  • @NMCKE said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/777794#Comment_777794

I agree, this would be a pain to code, but I would prefer something more than just slapping on number buffs. Also, I'm okay with number buffs, but not when the perk is so sensitive to number buffs (see my previous comment above).

Survivors can stay invisible for a while if they have a decent effect and know your position, but in my opinion, it will not matter at all if that doesn't help you escape.

The environment thingy is tricky, but that's the whole point of Sole Survivor — give the killer as little information as possible from the perk owner. I know there will be some edge cases like pallets appearing to be standing when they are actually dropped, but I already thought about everything.

If you want, I can cover the edge cases and explain what will exactly happen! :P

If you want you can, but my point was that it's kind of impossible to have corn not move when they walk into it, grass, etc... Cause those work off of collision with the players model.

You can't exactly remove it without removing collision from the Survivor in-general. And again, if the perk works off of helping the last Survivor in the EGC... than it isn't really going to do much. OR it'll be extremely OP since most Killers don't go right up to the gate to see if progress is being done, if say... the perk negates the lights from turning Red than it would make going to really far gates almost impossible... You'd rather just let them escape and save yourself the time.

You don't really need to number buff the perk, the perk doesn't even have increased Exit Gate opening progress in it...

  • @xllxENIGMAxllx

Your routing was good when it came to guessing where they'd go within the tiles, but your mind-games at said tiles could use some work, and overall you could've relied less on the chainsaw to get the job done. Getting instant-downs isn't everything on Billy, and since he's quite a balanced Killer, people can get around the chainsaw if they know what they're doing.

You shouldn't rely on it for the most part, but it should be used more so for obvious "EZ" hits, and map pressure around getting people who're unhooking Survivors. It should obviously also be used for mobility.

You should also do more of what I saw you were doing, which was faking the chainsaw rev but instead cancel it at the pallet and go for a solid M1 hit on the Survivor. You should also use the chainsaw at dropped pallet loops to get the Survivor to go where YOU want. For example you could do this by having the Survivor go around the pallet to a walled off side with nothing close by. This will allow you to easily M2 them with the chainsaw and than hook them and move on.

Another thing, flicking at pallets is a good idea but it should only be done at LONG loops like one of the Jungle Gym windows, the loop around the pallet, and also the truck loops on azarov as well! Don't flick around loops with bushes like haddonfield, gas barrels and tire stacks like azarov, anything with a pretty bad hitbox you shouldn't flick around for a M2 hit.

And while yes the trucks on azarov don't have the greatest hit boxes... if you flick in a precise way you'll get the hit off. You should also know when to chainsaw someone at a L-Wall and T-Wall by judging the distance from you to the window, the Survivors skill with faking the window vault, and your charge speed on top of this. Of course you can't measure the Survivors skill off of the first chase, but by knowing how they loop around the first chase you'll know to either mind-game the pallets with a rev, or when to flick at certain loops with them.

At the shack loop, you should also flick when they're attempting to go through the window after looping you around it once. You can easily tell when they'll vaulting or not from these subtle tells... When a Survivor vaults they kind of "magnet" to the window and can be shown sliding across the floor depending where they're vaulting from, another is that the Survivors head isn't looking back towards you... that's another subtle hint that they're attempting to vault the window, and of course if they have a med-kit or toolbox than you can easily tell when they're going to vault. This is due to when they vault the med-kit and toolbox will vanish from their hand a few seconds before the vault animation (after they've hit space bar) and that's when you know they'll be vaulting.

Most Survivors that fake window vaults look behind them to see where your red light is, or they might be smart enough to not look behind them but instead look forward and move at the last second. Those are harder to detect, but if they have say an item like I said or if they're "sliding across" the floor to the vault than you'll know.

One last thing, if you have tier lll enduring than you should use it with Spirit Fury. You shouldn't use bamboozle since hitting people when vaults are open is actually a good thing (with the chainsaw of course) and overall with Killers that use lunges like Demogorgon or chainsaws like Billy and LeatherFace... it's best to have enduring. This will help you recover from a failed chainsaw hit or just M1 hit, and if you have Spirit Fury ready, you can just hit the Survivor before they drop the pallet, they drop the pallet ON you, than Spirit Fury breaks it and Enduring makes the stun get reduced by 50%... So you can easily just hit them again after and get a free down in the process.

I'm telling you, if you have Shattered Bloodlines in your DLC list you should level up Spirit for Spirit Fury... And if you don't, than Enduring is still good to use on Billy if its just solo. And hey, if you like Bamboozle regardless of what I said... than you can just put Enduring in, and keep Bamboozle! Don't use ShadowBorne... you really don't need it. And keep Pop Goes the Weasel in your perk list, its very good on literally every Killer but it's especially good on Killers like Spirit, Nurse, Billy, Killers that can get to generators really quickly...

  • Here's why I don't exactly agree with this, though your concept is interesting. For one, it would require BHVR to code in the possibility of invisibility for any Survivor using this perk...

And since that code doesn't exactly exist except for say, Freddy's old code... (And new code, it now just shows him within a set amount of meters.) So to add a code to the Survivor sided client just for a perk would require a PTB in itself, since if the code messes up or something is bugged, and Survivors find a way to abuse the perk to stay invisible indefinitely or something... than it would be a big issue.

It's not really possible to code in the ability to hide totems from a distance, or prevent grass from being moved, etc... Since that would A.) Require the Survivors to have no collision since it's collision based. And B.) Would look terrible once you get close enough to say... a totem being already broken, a pallet being dropped out of nowhere with no noise notification, a generator not popping until you get close, those are just some examples to how it wouldn't really work...

Another thing, having the range for this to decrease (Or increase or whatever) each time a Survivor dies would literally almost make the Survivor impossible to find depending on the map and where they're... They would never be found, it would be impossible almost. The main issue that Solo Survivor poses... is that during the EGC, if the hatch were to be closed by the Killer with gates not that far from each other and depending on the Killer if its Freddy, Wraith with speed add-ons, trapper, etc... would make it pointless anyways.

I feel perks that revolve around the last Survivor should allow the last Survivor to just gain an exit gate opening boost... by like say 5% or 10%, and it can be stacked with Wake Up! to make it 10% or 15%.

Of course this would make it almost impossible for the Killer to get the last Survivor if the map has a long route to the gates... so you could just give it the ability to not stack with Wake up! or the perks only add up to 10% increase to opening Exit Gates... Which isn't OP but it isn't bad either.

  • No... not really since most Survivors would just get downed, than die on the hook...

I know how people see some Killers as only wanting a "GG EZ WIN!" but I think I can speak for everyone and say that it's not fun to face a 4 man who all die on the first hook because they already got full vials...

The Killer gets like 4 hooks, and those 4 hooks might not even be the event hooks (at the time) and... nobody gets any BPs honestly, except for the event issued BPs from the pustula plants or the pustula hooks...

  • They said before that the event is postponed until further notice because of an issue. We probably won't get a date tomorrow on behalf of the change as the issue could take some time...

  • @Feweasygames4u said:

    It was kinda chaos.

  • @Peasant

Dedicated Servers is causing roll backs and delays for Survivors and Killers. Its small, but it can happen periodically within a match despite the ping being good or bad...

The game is probably just acting up with those delays and roll backs and causing you to get trapped in your own bear traps after they're placed... Hopefully these quirks will be ironed out in the future so Dedicated Servers can shine!

If it didn't stack they'd just say "does not stack" rather than specifying additively.

Most things in the game either work additively or multiplicatively.

Some things don't stack and are missing that description actually. Also, to add another point, for all we know the percentages could be added up in a very perculiar way...

I highly doubt that, but it could... tbh I wish this info for things like the slightly, moderately, etc measurements of percentages were just percentages... it would actually be better imo.

Also, its odd that Vigil is unique with how it stacks up it percentages in a diminishing way since the perk is so niche anyways.

  • @anarchy753 said:

If it stacked diminishingly it would be:

    ((((40-20%)-20%)-20%)-20%)

    Which is 16.38

So about a total of 60% off if you are all grouped up together.

    (I think)

Edit: No, running does not recover exhaustion.

Maybe its not impossible to answer then.

But its unknown if it actually does stack given the description we're handed from the DBD wiki.

  • @MissBehavingX

You mean the color scheme changes that players can change by editing the games files? Those are only done by... editing the games files! This isn't something BHVR actually bans for, but doing so is "at your own risk" because of how EAC sees it...

If EAC sees it as cheating through the EAC system, than you won't get a BHVR issued ban, you'll get a valve issued ban. Which means if you get banned by EAC than BHVR has no jurisdiction over it... And they can't unban you even if you submit a ticket for appeal.

So when the devs, mods, and members of the community say "Use at your own risk" they REALLY mean USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. As having a EAC ban is worse than having a BHVR ban imo... They're usually nonnegotiable and that basically means your goose is cooked.

The chances of this are slim, but the chance is still there and I wouldn't do it imo.

  • @DwightTheMight

From a item and balance choice, yes it's pretty OP considering if you know how to land the hatchet hits than the match is pretty much death...

From a personal stand point, it's not that big of a deal if you know how to run The Huntress around due to her slow movement speed of only 4.4m/s. Of course its still broken, it's still manageable depending on the Huntress's and Survivors skill in the match...

This question is almost impossible to answer since you'd need 4 people in a KYF lobby to test it, and the percentages don't stack up to 80% when all 4 are active... here's a quote from the DBD wiki.

    Quote from the DBD wiki

"The Stacking is not additive, therefore there will not be an 80 % reduction if 4 Vigils Tier III are present."

This means two things, one 4 Vigils don't increase the percentage at all given from what this quote says... (That means only 1 20% from 1 Vigil is applied and that's all) or two, the percentages do add up but it grows smaller each time a new Vigil is stacked onto it..

Exhaustion works like this, you can stand still and it will take 40 seconds to recover the whole bar once the exhaustion status effect is activated after Sprint Burst, Lithe, Balanced Landing, Dead Hard, etc are used...

If you run the entire time, it'll take 80 seconds to recover (As of Patch 2.1.0) so it's doubled if you run the entire time afterwards when the exhaustion status effect (base exhaustion) is applied to you...

And since as the wiki states, 4 Vigils don't add 80%... it's honestly impossible for me or anyone except a developer to give you an exact time it'll take to recover when 4 Vigils are active... Cause either it only accepts the 20% from the first Vigil and nothing else, or it stacks like say... 15% to 10% to 5% each time a new Vigil is added...

    Basically this is your answer

It's impossible for anyone to actually give you an accurate answer because of how Vigil works when stacks... (If it even stacks like the DBD wiki implies, or it does it with diminishing values added each time)

Since 20% is given to you on one Vigil... that's like what? 10 seconds less off exhaustion? or 5... with the diminishing values it's unknown what 4 will give.

    My last note

It also doesn't say anywhere if running even recovers exhaustion anymore, so I can't give you a straight answer on that one either... But the rest of my point stands.

Try to read the situation i already found an answer for that and you quote my comment instead of my post.

    Ok?

Just trying to help, but never-mind I guess.

  • Your question was "Is GhostFace worth the money" and I answered it above in my own option.

If you want builds, than use Nurse's Calling, BBQ & Chili, Ruin, and Pop Goes the Weasel.

Pop Goes the Weasel is pretty good especially on stealth Killers since you can easily stealth up to a generator people are working on and regress it down to 25% after someone was previously unhooked.

Ruin because its ruin do I need to explain it? You can swap it out for Corrupt Intervention or Thrilling Tremors if you feel like Ruin is a bit much for some reason.

BBQ & Chili since its the best tracking perk in the game, and it can reward the killer up to 100% in all blood points category's at the end of a match...

and last Nurse's Calling, which is standard for Myers also... It's a really good perk on stealth Killers like Myers and GhostFace since you're TR is almost non-existent at Tier ll with M&A or just base-kit 16 TR... or because of Nightshroud which makes GhostFaces Terror Radius go down to 0 when active...

Once someone is hurt, and is healing near you, you can see them up to 20/22/24 meters depending on the level of Nurse's Calling.

This is a pretty standard build, and its one of the best on him.

I need to get use to this stalk thing because its completely different from my favorite killers nurse and billy

I mean if you're completely hidden to a Survivor than you'll be fine! Especially on GhostFace since he can lean around corners to stalk which is actually faster than if you just regularly stalked them by... not leaning over corners.

    Thanks!

    No problemo.

So looking at the notes on my screen, and editing the times in the comment above... I can say that the Anti-Hemorrhage Needle will only restore 1 health state on a fully downed Survivor and an Injured Survivor. Since it works passively it only heals one health state now...

And since it says after you're picked up or your health state changes (Aka changing from say Injured to Healthy or Downed to Injured) than the passive effect ends and no longer happens to the Survivor... So by that logic it's only 1 health state it heals now.

As for the Styptic Agent, it gives the "Endurance" status effect, which is basically the equivalent of having a Mettle of Man stack (Pre or Post Patch) and getting a free hit afterwards. But it only lasts for 15 seconds, so unless the Killer didn't know you used it before a chase when you're injured... than it can easily be baited and the time on it can be wasted.

  • @Mert_MK

The Anti-Hemmorhage Needle works like it normally does, except they just changed it to a 8 second timer. So instead of downing someone and some guy with a insta-heal just heals the Survivor to full health and negates the entire point of that chase... they have to wait 8 seconds before it heals them to 1 health state now... just one, and its passive.

Which could work if a Killer mistakenly chases after another Survivor after the heal... but its more practical that they just use it on themselves near a safe enough loop and wait for the heal.

Also, the Styptic Agent works like pre-patch Mettle of Man, you're given a free hit for 15 seconds which can easily be wasted since all you need to do is just avoid the chase, continue the chase with another hit (So its basically like an instant heal but not really since you're still hurt, so its objectively worse) or just chase someone else nearby...

It only lasts for 15 seconds, 15 seconds isn't THAT long, but its debatable if it is since this is DBD we're talking about... every second counts in a match, and 15 seconds is like almost a quarter of a generator finished I think.

    edit

I got the times wrong, they've been edited to reflect the correct times.

  • Since his release... no sadly... Nothings changed since his release so I can 100% say no, he's never really been the greatest to use.

He was better than Freddy... was.

sad to say but nobody cares till it happened to em :(

It's not that nobody cares, it's that nobody knows how to solve this issue except BHVR.

Until the issue is resolved it'll sadly still happen... It's nice to know you can get it back though by simply contacting support and filing it under "Lost Progress"

  • @Rmg1004

No, teaming with a Survivor or (Working with the Killer) means you actively targeted every other Survivor besides a specific one, and in doing so the Survivor who's helping you would point out where other Survivors are so you can kill them and down them.

That's teaming, where a certain Survivor and the Killer are in cahoots and are against the rest of the team... What you did was just pick... favoritism towards one Survivor to let one escape, I do it sometimes at the end where if I feel like not taking the 4k I'll let the last person escape.

    Long story short, you're fine.
