Can you revert all of his nerfs. He's rubbish now. Please give him UNLIMITED stalking range and let him stalk more than 1 people at once. Revert the nerfs to his addons and give him faster base stalking. It's not fair. Such a cool killer got killed.I main him...seems fine to me. Those nerfs sound reasonable considering if I had unlimited stalk range then myers would be easily top tier. In most peoples eyes he is still top tier anyways so...
He's sadly very mediocre killer and cannot comepete with the genrush meta which is being pushed by the devs. He used to be good killer but all the nerfs were too harmful for him. Now his stalking is busted because of the engine update and he can be looped into oblivion. Sadly devs are too derpy to ackonwledge they screwed up and he will remain as he is.
Balance? Nah... Gen rush? YES!

Anything you said can apply to anything on the forums. It just sounds to me that because it was a LOL button that people cried over it.
Really? So people are running bots to spam other reactions to try to make it seem like a large number of people disagree with certain users?
We're not talking about the possibility of abuse; we're talking about the actual abuse of this feature.
The same can apply to a vote up or awesome in a counter post/counter comment. Its clear that because it was a LOL button and that it was heavily implying to whoever it was used on was "a joke." And as such that hurt someones feelings. So it was removed mainly due to that fact.
I'll ask you again: are people actively using bots to spam other reactions to try to make it seem like a large number of people disagree with certain users? Because if not, then no, the same doesn't apply.
No, as of now no. That doesn't mean it can't happen though either now can it?
Indeed, but do you think we should act on the hypothetical (and unlikely) scenario you've made up, or on the reality that we currently live in?
Because the reality is, it's impossible to automate such a system with positive reactions, because it'd require a bot that could read and interpret text to figure out if a comment was agreeing or disagreeing with a certain user. Anyone who could create such a bot wouldn't be using it to troll forum users; they'd be working for Alphabet, or Facebook, or the NSA, or the CIA, or the FBI, or literally any entity whose job description is to analyze and process data.
What in the [BAD WORD] are you talking about? We're talking about scenarios Orion... Sce-Nar-ios... The fact that it CAN happen means it probably WILL happen! This is why people take steps to prevent that even if its unpreventable... And we're not talking about complex A.I. we're talking about man operated bots...
You're taking this way to far to prove a point...
And right now we're talking about things that already happened. No one here can foretell the future of the other three buttons so when the day comes that one of the buttons get abused, I'm sure they'll take action just like they did with the LOL button. With your logic, we should all bar ourselves in bomb shelters because it's possible that WW3 can happen someday but we don't know when it'll happen, so we should take precautions just in case.

No, we're talking about automated bots, which is what actually happened. That's how the "LOL" ratings increased so quickly.
I could imagine a scenario where you post something bannable and get banned. Should you be banned as a precaution? That's the same logic you're advocating in regards to the remaining reaction buttons. All i'm saying is that because it can happen, that it could. Doesn't mean we should take massive precautions towards it "which I never said in the first place you're just putting words in my mouth..." i'm saying that it could happen again to any of the other buttons... but it also might not.... SO WHO KNOWS!

Can you read?
I mentioned the devs will be adding a totem counter to the survivor HUD making it EASIER
FireHazard mentioned BUFFING small game
You would probably think someone talking about survivors only having 1 gen to do "LMAO this person just wants to make it harder on survivors" This is why killers can't reason with survivors about balance. They couldn't tell balance if it wasn't called balanced landing. "balanced landing didn't go off" other survivor "are you sure your landing was balanced? It needs to be a balanced landing for it to work!"
Neither side can reason with each other in-general on anything.

Give them a bit of time for the hooked survivors health bar to decrease ya know? Go do totems or something or you're getting hit with NOED and you'll fully deserve it.
I was waiting for someone to say that... Its a legit strategy my dude. Just like tunneling someone for 5 gens is a legit strategy... And like how camping someone with leatherface in a basement with insidious is also a legit strategy. Silly survivors....

How does one play this guy? I keep being told I'll fail if i tunnel people with my frenzy, but how else do i get actual downs?Forgot to quote you, just read what I posted above. That should help you out. If you need help with add-on choices just quote me and I can give you an idea of what to use.
-
I can give you an in-depth idea of how to play him which most times work for me. The best way to play The Legion is to not tunnel one person with frenzy each time, but to focus on frenzy chain hitting all the survivors before you focus on the person you want to down.
Most survivors will be in a clump on a gen, so its easy to get a chain hit on two while going after the other two that are either also together or close by. Its easier to do this when Legion has his perk "Discordance" to tell when more than one survivors on a gen, this slows down their progress on gens and prevents gen rushing.
You'll want the following perks to the best legion build possible (in my opinion.)
Nurse's Calling: This paired with the other perk "Thanatophobia" will force most if not all survivors to heal themselves to prevent the slow down percentage. And even if they don't heal themselves it leaves them open for a one hit down and makes it easier to find them.
Thanatophobia: Like stated above, this paired with Nurse's Calling can prove to be a deadly combo with Legion, as it can make tracking hurt survivors fairly easier.
Discordance: This perk ALSO stated above will prevent any gen rushing, as it will give you a audio and aura notification on what gens are being done on by more than one survivor. It can be a tremendous help indeed for all Legion users (or any fast killer like Billy, Nurse, Legion, Etc.)
The last perk will revolve around 3 perks to choose from, because either one of the 3 can usually help with the already existing perks stated above.
This is BBQ for easier aura reading on where to find the next survivor and since Legions a very good bloodpoints farmer it helps boost your total after the match. Sloppy Butcher Is another one that can help slow down healing and make it easier for you to find survivors that're healing with Nurse's Calling while also keeping Thanatophobias ability active to slow down gen production.
And last is Ruin which I don't really recommend on Legion with this perk set up since its kinda of overkill in my opinion, but Ruin can help first time Legion users get the ropes on how to play himm effectively before moving on to the other two perks as a 4th perk opinion.
Personally I use BBQ as my 4th perk opinion, since it helps with Blood points at the end of a match (since hes literally the best farmer killer now.)

Bad game design for bad survivors.
yawn
How much does Behaviour pay you to defend all of their decisions?
Bad game design is not giving surviors any clue as to how is cleansing totems are how many are cleansed. Lets just have all 4 survivors running around looking for 5 totems, I'm sure we'll manage to get the gens done too.
How many training wheels do you need to accept the game as it is right now?
Noed can be negated before it triggers, if survivors refuse to counter it then it's on them.
Yeah, sometimes the killer is good at keeping the map pressure and you are forced to do gens instead of totems, so what?Survivors don't need to worry much longer.
They are already notified about any hex/affect that they are under so that takes all the guessing out of it (in the event a survivor cant tell what's going on or how the killer downed in one hit).
Soon they will add a 'totems left' counter on the survivor HUD making any chance of NOED going off near impossible ROFL.
Just wait. It will happen.
That or they'll buff small game to give a visual aura to anything they see withing the 45 degree cone lmao.

I guess it goes to show that some new killers think Ranks = Skill... in reality most skilled killers/survivors don't want to even be in rank 1 lmao... for some of us its unpreventable and for others its preferred.

Toxic for running a perk which is readily available in the game, ok.What's interesting, is that just by using certain perks within an organized SWF group can be toxic. In order for a killer to be toxic they have to use ultra rare add-ons maybe even an eboni mori. That equates to 7k-14k BP for a killer to be toxic. Survivors can essentially be toxic for free, adding insta heals are considered Try Hard Toxic.
At the end of the day Killer pays to be toxic.
A good SWF group can be toxic for free.

So recently I've noticed a HUGE increase in the amount of toxic killers. They taunt the survivor letting them crawl towards the hatch then oick them up at the last second.Or they walk towards the hatch with them then they switch to a hook at the last second.
It's amazing how petty some people can be. How they need to gloat when they get the win. This is on the same level as survivors tbagging at the gate.
Both sides really are just as bad. I dont think killers have the right to play victim anymore.
Anyone else noticed a huge increase in killer toxicity? Just nodding at people on the hook or hitting them etc?
Its the cycle of toxicity my friend, its kinda like the water cycle...except replace water with toxicity.

Jesus just give up and shut up about the Hatch already. You got 3 kills and you still got a lot of points and you ranked up... Oh boo hoo 1 got away through hatch. You gotta look at it from the survivors point of view... 2 gens are done and all 3 of my teammates are dead, I can go for hatch or try and finish 3 [BAD WORD] gens by myself with the killer patrolling the entire map. 200IQ bud.
Now lets take away the hatch. 3 dead and 1 left with only 2 gens done. Now this 1 survivor SOMEHOW...... Must figure out a way to complete 3 full gens by themself without being caught by the killer which will be IMPOSSIBLE!!!
All killer has to do is walk back and forth to every gen and which ever gen is being worked on they'll search that entire area with you eventually getting caught and there's nothing you can do.
It will be even more impossible to do that against a Nurse, Billy, Spirit, Legion, Wraith or Hag.
(I play killer & survivor by the way)

If noed is bad design, what about DSTRIKE ?Personally, I think NOED is a band-aid fix to flawed game design whereas Decisive Strike is actually bad game design. NOED should be made unnecessary by fixing other elements of the game, then it can be altered/removed. On the other hand, DS could be removed tomorrow and I think the game would be better for it.
However, a thread pointing out the problems with one perk shouldn't always have to devolve into a contest between which perk is worst. Multiple perks on both sides can need fixing.
Honestly, i'd take 4 Decisive strikes over 4 Dead Hards. At least with DS I can use enduring and just get them down again most of the time, with Dead hard if they know how to use it they'll mostly get another free loop or get away to another loop (If they can use it correctly)

Now before people cry "ClEaNsE tHe ToTUmZ", how about the devs actually make that viable for single player by giving some notification of when dull totems are destroyed? or after doing 4 am I meant to run around the map searching every nook and cranny just to be sure?
God I hate this game sometimes. NOED and DS, 2 perks that change the entire outcome of the match. Great game design right there.
Don't waste your breath brother, I already made a rant on this. Literally everyone just accepts its existence at this point (sadly.)

The only one missing the point here is you, it's not about the hatch standoff, if someone sneaks by you to get the hatch they outplayed you plain and simple.
If you get them before they get to the hatch you outplayed them plain and simple, if either one does a hatch standoff it's an ego contest.
Clarify the first point then next time cause you made it sound like you were implying this towards the hatch stand off.
I stand by what I said about who finds who first, its basically a gamble if they even have SC or not, and if they have urban evasion or not. A whole lot of factors play into this, Do they know where it is if 4 gens were done? Do they have SC? Are they good at stealth? Can I catch them before they find hatch on first swing? And what if they weren't hurt in the first place when the 3rd person died? then what...
Its a gamble, there's no skill involved in it, skill only happens when the chase is engaged when the killer actually finds them somehow.
-

In that scenario you only have 2 hits on them before they go down, in that time they can cover half or so of the map if they know how to maneuver well. And during that half map chase they have a good chance to get the hatch... THEN the stubborn stand off happens, where either person "outplays" each other by caving into pressing M1 first.
They're injured and not running SC means they're insta downable, you move faster you can cut corners and path better.
I'm not saying hatch standoffs are outplays and never have since it's a stubborn ego fest.
Hatch standoffs require no skill and or outplay anything. We never talked about finding the person either, I was talking about who finds the hatch first... theirs a pretty slim chance you'll find them before they find said hatch that's why most killers just go for the hatch. When I find hatch first I just hit them when they come to it and move on, not stand there thirsty for like 800 more points...
Again I've never said hatch standoffs require skill, in fact it's boils down to who's got the bigger ego in that case. If i find it 1st i'll smack the area to let them know where it's at then leave it to them. I've already won and scored enough bp.
To outplay someone is to display skill I.E. in a chase for example, I don't see any skill in say a P3 Claudette with urban evasion sneaking past you... If this was like... a Pink shirt ace that's a different story.
Also there's things called Whispers, All Seeing Eyes, Spies, Stridor and BloodHound if they're injured, Mirror Myers, Amanda's addon. There's Trapper and Hag's traps they can step or run into. It doesn't matter the outfit if they sneak past you in a wide open area or Lery's/Gideon's that's skill.
Don't make excuses for when someone outplays you, since that's all you're doing is making excuses.

To outplay someone is to display skill I.E. in a chase for example, I don't see any skill in say a P3 Claudette with urban evasion sneaking past you... If this was like... a Pink shirt ace that's a different story.

The hatch is fine. Don't like it? Pressure gens more, or slug, or be patient in the standoff. If the survivor gets the hatch then they outplayed you. Simple as that.
I don't think they "outplayed you" in a stand off...they just were more stubborn than you before one of you gave up.
So if you grab them from the hatch then that means you were just as stubborn as they were and didn't outplay them either. If they get the hatch before it becomes a standoff then yes they outplayed you.
How is that outplaying someone? It was basically a gamble on who finds it first, then its up to them if they wanna waste 5 hours of their lives over some pride complex.

@douggie123 said: The killer should be able to shut hatch if they find it first before the survivor. It's also annoying because I can always find hatch easy as anything when playing killer but as survivor it takes an age to find it if at all. They did have that mechanic when the PTB for the clown was around I believe (When he was the newest killer.) But the idea got tossed around and eventually closed for obvious reasons...Cough The community outrage Cough Please dont spread false information with conspiracy theorys. The reason the closing of the hatch mechanic was scrapped was due to it not solving the problem of the hatch standoff, survivors having no hope could stealth around maybe touching a gen now and again but in the end the game went on for a stupid length. It didn't fix the standoff problem where two stubborn people would rather stand there staring at eaxh other, it simply moved it to long hide and seek scenario prolonging the game in a different way.
This went against the hatch by design as it is to help end the game quicker so both sides can move on to another one.
Sorry? You have to admit though, if it wasn't THAT...then it'd be community outrage.
But by who? Both killers and survivors complained about the length of the games on the PTB.
That's irrelevant though as the reason was that it did not solve the problem the standoff created.
Mostly survivor mains due to it removing their one chance of an escape if their team dies/are all potatoes.
And killers only complained also cause... what else is a survivor going to do but hide when 3 gens need to be done, I tried this once awhile ago during a match when 4 gens needed to be done...its not possible unless the killer has no brain and doesn't monitor every gen.
It more or less needs a rework for it to be balanced in the first place (Like most things..) but if you're like me...you just accept that they found it first or you did and let them have it and move on. Unless you're a stubborn killer with a massive pride I don't see the issue here. Killers that usually complain about the hatch are the same killers that will stand there for 500 hours until they get the last kill.

And what makes you entitled to them above other people who are suffering from the same issues (me included)? .-.You remind me of the guy I asked to put up a shiny coin one time, and he said the same thing. Its just pixils my guy...

Because the community loves the abusive relationship, and so do you.

Roblox will kill DBD watch out.Please. Clearly, Tetris is the real DbD killer. It's much more stressful and horrifying when you get an L block despite needing a line piece.
But can Tetris oof is the question?

If anyone wonders why he gets hit, even though he vaulted completely through the window.
Killers dont have a T-Rex arm.
Every person could do it, if you stand to near at the window.
So its not the killer fault, if they hit you over a fence or through a window.
You was just to near.PS:
Yes i made this dicussion, because survivors said:
"******* hitbox, noob lagswitch killer.
Deinstall the game."They tea - bagging me behind a window.
Guess what happened.Fun tip, you can hit survivors if they're close enough behind windows, fences, and even those bared fences in one of the coldwind maps (The Slaughterhouse one.)
So many people forget this little detail.
Its hardly seen used so its understandable that not many pick it up.
