15,000 Bonus
15,000 Pudding45,000 post match
45,000 BBQ&C90,000 total
No, bbq doesn’t count the bonus. BBQ would add ANOTHER 15k, not double the already jank amount
But why does it say it's added AFTER the match? When it's worded like that, I assume it's taking all modifiers into account, such as pudding and the bonus. The AFTER match total would be the number multiplied by 25/50/75/100....I thought at least.
Thanks for all the replies....it really is greatly appreciated. I mean, it is what it is, and will be, either way, once the bonus goes live. Just trying to get a heads up on it before hand.

It’s additive to each other, multiplied of the original. Double is 2x. Any offering or WGLF is another number. One bloody streamers is x3, 2 are x4, ect. WGLF counts as another streamer as well. Cakes are same but for one person, like WGLFI have 3 totals up there....which one if correct please?
Well, 15k with BBQ is 30, with event is 45, with offering is 60k, plus another 15k per any more offerings
Got it, so it's base. Thank you.

It's like every game has at least 1 party streamer. Why complicate things.Ummm, I didn't complicate anything good Sir/Madam. It's just math which can be done in one of two ways. Hence, the idea of compound. I have 3 separate totals posted above, although I suspect it's either 56,250 or 75,000. That seems significant to me. It's just a question.

Oh yeah! -
Or....is it:
15,000 earned
15,000 Doubled
15,000 pudding
11,250 BBQ added post game56,250?

Not a big deal, but yes, I agree.

Very well done, got a few chuckles out of me. The "crazy" in the hook felt wonky...but overall, I think it's rather good.
-
Without going into specifics....for my Billy build tinkerer is a constant. It's used interchangeably with another add on, but only for specific conditions.
Initially, I'm NOT happy with the changes to tinkerer. I don't really care for the updated version and I think the effect (0 terror radius) is complete cheese. That said, I won't mind the changes so much, provided they at least try to buff the current addons that benefit from the perk.
Adapt or die

So if I missed ONE hook, this looks about correct? If so, no worries...just didn't seem correct.

Did someone reach second stage without being unhooked?I believe so....the first hook actually. I thought I was in real trouble when the survivors didn't go rushing in to save (survivors that know what they are doing). But still, even if that means I missed a hook, they are only worth 100BPs per hook?
Possible 3 hooks per 4 players is only 1,200 BPs possible for hooking. The other 6,800 means it's 1,700 per actual sacrifice (kill). What an odd number....
You would think with 8K possible BPs in the catagory.....obviously 2K BPs per survivor. Of that say 1K for the actual death, leaving the additional 1K to be split for hooks at 333.33333 (repeating of course) BPs per hook.

Wait wait wait....this game actually held a tourney? That's ######### hilarious!!! This game?! THIS GAME?! And it wasn't even a LAN event? With EAC?! Come on...
I can't....just "no".

I USED to think like this in my late 20's and early 30's. I was angered by the movement I saw against PC gaming. PCs are obviously the better platform for gaming in terms of raw power. They simply can't be beat. When you buy a console....it's stuck in stone. Before you even bought a console, as in, when it was being packaged at the plant it was made at, it was already outdated....now you have to live with it for the next few years or buy the new model when it came out. The price of those 2 console purchases combined, you could have built a nice mid-level PC gaming rig.
I saw dedicated servers being replaced with P2P online gaming. The loss of public server files that allowed for modding and custom playstyles. For titles like Call of Duty, I saw what were once free "map packs" (usually sponsored by Intel, or Nvidia) replaced by DLC which had to be purchased. No my friends, I saw nothing good about console culture replacing PC gaming.
I saw programming that shifted from top of the line amazing graphics to tailor made for the lowest common denominator...."Watch Doges" anyone? It was as if gaming programmers could only push the limits of development that consoles would allow. The limitations of consoles WAS the bottleneck for gaming.
As a PC gamer, we had it thrown in our faces, that yes, PCs are the better platform, but console makers were going to lie about it. Showcasing their games as a console, when it was discovered they were indeed showing their games on PC.

Funny looking consoles under that desk....they almost look like PC towers.
So whats the take away from all this? Money. No doubt about it...not even a close argument can be made. Console gamers have the gaming industry wallet. There is more **consolidated **money in console gaming then there ever was for PCs. Both Xbox and PS had the user base and the interest to lobby the gaming industry for control. I bought my case from Cooler Master, my RAM from Crucial, my GPU from EVGA....etc., etc. etc.....but these are component vendors. These company don't do anything to lobby game developers as a unified single element to promote PC gaming. PC gaming had the big stick, but no one to wield it for them.
Adapt or die. Console gamers are here to stay. Even IF PC gamers spend more money on their rigs, it can't be quantified. Console producers can easily say, "Here, look at how much money we make for the gaming industry", and that speaks volumes.
Now in my 40's, I've taken a much more amicable approach to gaming. As it pertains to this discussion, I've adopted the mentality of "Whatever keeps you gaming". If you prefer consoles, so be it. PCs, so be it. Just don't stop gaming. I have NO doubt I'll continue gaming into my 50's and 60's. With the days of salad and glory gone from PC gaming....it's interesting to me, to think what of my memory is more rooted in nostalgia and what was really important. I've never blamed console gamers for their choice. I still feel it's based on ignorance. And there was a time when it was easy to point out the differences and advantages. That was 10 years ago. Now, PC gamers are so like console gamers due to culture and integration....there's not much console gamers are missing out on anymore, as such, the advantage to distinction can no longer be made. Now I'm to the point I just want all games to be cross-platform. If PC gaming can't "beat" console gaming for development....join them, in the true sense of play with them.
-
Of course it would help with some perks...but I like the idea of meta works. I think the terror radius (by default) as well as the increased terror radius using buffs is fine where it's at.
Some killers even have addons to help increase the terror radius.
For the Dr., base terror radius combined with Distressing and "Calm" - Carter's Notes produces a very large terror radius. But to get this effect, I should have to take this "load out". Buffing it up and adding it by default seems OP to me.

That doesn’t even make sense. They probably had sole survivor or object of obsession.
Killer perks can also make an obsession. Like remember me, and all of myers’ perks. It picks the guy with the most obsession perks, and if no one has one, it’s random then. Imagine remember me NOT WORKING because no one picked d-strike
TY TY TY, yes, this finally convinced my Bunny Mom obsessed Daughter understand.

I just watched a few videos and the only thing I'll say is...well, this is the P2P gaming scene.
Don't worry though folks....once they figure out how to hack the cells, the Devs will make it a top priority. As it is now, I hope they get a refund from EAC.
-
Benghazi: When you are 30m or less away from a survivor that is hooked and ignore them, the survivor instantly dies.
-
I know about hooks. We have the BEST hooks. I'm so much of an expert on hooks. Let me tell you, I was working with hooks before anyone even knew about hooks!
-
The way it's suppose to work is something like this:
1) Hack comes out
2) AC identifies it
3) Time is allowed to pass to catch all would be cheaters
4) AC is updated
5) Mass ban daySo it's a slow build up, to an all out epidemic, to a "where did all the hackers go".
-
But....this isn't a competitive game, is it? I mean, no one is paying money to win in a tournament, are they?
It's all good, I appreciate the comments and feedback here....I believe many people just like to complain.
-
Interesting you should bring it up....I actually believe the Devs implemented a stealth buff recently. I feel 2 things have changed, one of those could be an either or effect.
1) Survivor hitboxes. What did hit a month ago, now doesn't hit. No SB, no DH, just a whiff, and nothing but air. It's almost as if I got too close and swung my arms around the survivor. It's not just me either. I've seen it happen to 3 YouTubers that had the exact same result, and the exact same reaction. Hell, I've only been playing Hillbilly for 2 years now....did they think I wouldn't notice my chainsaw not hitting....even WITH the extension.
2) Base survivor speed, and or, the SB after being hit. Man, after a hit, survivors are taking OFF. I mean, literally, 1/3 the length of a medium map. I hit a Claudette today coming out of the shack on Ironworks.....I'm not joking, she made it past the wood pile and into the debris just before the 2 story before I recovered. I should have taken a video of it. I know each map is "different".
So to the question: Yes, there is something frustrating about the game currently that didn't seem as obvious to me three months ago. How do I unwind? Well, I don't really get excited in the first place. Sounds like BS right? Sounds too easy right? Okay, okay....here's what I do. Remember that guy in PUBG that was screaming his ass off at other players for "camping"? "DO YOU THINK THERE IS a $1000 REWARD FOR THE GAME?! NO ON IS GONNA PAY YOU"! I try to take that guys advice actually. Turning salt into sugar, I play with a more carefree attitude. I play deliberately, just to see what happens. I might leave a survivor slugged, KNOWING he is going to be healed. I might not kick a gen. I might not hook a survivor...just turn in circles helicopter style. I, honestly, listen to that guy.....I've stopped treating this game like a very serious "check list"....do this, now do that, if they do this, I have to do that.
Side note, I don't care about rank though. Actually, I've dropped from rank 5 down to 11 just BSing, and it's been hilarious. Perspective man.....just a game. It's not a tournament, you have no viewers, you have no sponsors, you (hopefully) didn't bet a dime on it, and your family doesn't base their respect on the outcome.
@ the 02:06 mark

Sometimes I do what I want, other times I do what I have to....admittedly, I may be projecting, but when I do the things I want, it doesn't include playing a game I don't like.

There are definitely some people out there who will complain for the sake of complaining, but most people just want to see the game improve. Negative feedback is still feedback. You don't fix problems by having everyone tell you it's perfect.
I don't subscribe to this. I don't believe people have the overall health of the game in mind with their "suggestions". Some instances, yes, of course....but most seem to just want a tailored game.
Someone pointed out that there might be an influx of new players not initiated or indoctrinated right away. I get that. I just find it strange that after 2 years, people still complain about camping and looping.....yet still play. Change this, change that, this sucks, this needs fixed...I mean, if it were one or two issues, I'd understand that, but some players seem to take issue with the game in it's entity. It's good though, lots of answers here.....so I guess that's something.
-
The Dr. thinks people are going to pay up to $10 per skin? Perhaps some will, but not as many as you think if you believe T3 will become rare.
Personally, I'm not spending one cent on cosmetics. I take that back....IF they lower the price to $5 for 1,000AC....I MIGHT consider it.
On that note, I only run my T3 Billy blood soaked.

@Mringasa said:
It's perfectly normal.
This is where we will disagree. I've been playing games for a long time now. I've never seen people complain about this much. I've seen much more caustic complaining. I mean real emotions....but not every single aspect of the game.
I do not believe this amount of complaining is normal. Complaining, yes, normal. TWO YEARS and people still complain about camping.....come on.
@Mringasa said:
Besides, have you never heard the phrase "The squeaky wheel gets the grease"?
Of course...I just don't think the constant appeasement of the masses is conducive to the overall health of the game.
A long time ago....a Dev once told a forum (something like) "Most people enjoy the game. We just have a very vocal and negative minority in these forums. People who like the game are too busy playing the game". That always stuck with me. In the case of DBD....seems as though a lot of people hate many aspects of the game, yet STILL play the damn thing. Hence the question, "Why are you still here".

But the question is, are macros bannable or not? Some people say yes, some no (personally i say no, because why ban someone for using a macro for wiggle/struggle, it gives no ingame advantage and is only used to not use the keys in unnecessary ways)
Again....without the Devs saying macros ARE bannable, then they remain, by default "legal". Until I see a member of the dev team, more than likely Not_Queen state, "Macros are bannable", then I don't care who wants to speculate or give an opinion about them...they are 100% allowed.
I understand your request for confirmation. It's always better to get the word from a source that word of mouth. However, in this case, macros are not new, and the Devs remain silent. This is the example of silence louder than words.

@Absolute_Zero said:
NOOO! I got outgoogled! :'(Thanks for your help. But some points will remain unclear unless devs finally give a clear answer...
"now Macro for Flash-lights, they still have said nothing on this" (from someissues)
if you mean the flashspam macro used to crash the killers pc, im pretty sure this falls under exploits. but once again, it's a "MAYBE".Devs please

This is new....you have my attention. You mean because the killer is the "host", players are using flashlights to, basically, spam request to the killer...thus causing a crash. Is that even possible? I mean, who the hell is on DSL anymore?
Lastly....if the Devs have never commented on it.....then it's not bannable. This could be due to them being ignorant it's a "thing", or they just keep it simple by not addressing the 1,000 things that are legit, and limit it only to things that are bannable.
It's like most statute laws. Laws don't list what IS legal, they only outline what's illegal. Example: In Portland, Oregon....there is obviously nothing that states it's legal to ride a unicycle in a kilt while playing flame throwing bagpipes....it's just not illegal. See what I mean.
As far as I know....macros are completely fine, but mostly because it's IMPOSSIBLE to detect with 100% accuracy.

Not to piggyback on this thread, but I found it more difficult to find the so called "whitelist". Only info I could find was about MLGA. Whitelisted on May 03, 2017, removed Nov. 09, 2017. I couldn't care less about the hex Ruin (I won't use hexes until they are reworked). Are we just going to ignore the fact that it can STILL take as long as 3 minutes and a couple mistakes by the survivor to register 2 hits? TWO hits in 3 minutes?!
-
My 2 cents.....I don't use it, at all, ever.
I refuse to use hex totems (for what it's worth) until the system is changed. I had a blast with them about 10 months ago. Seems no one was using them, so a lot of people forgot about them. Playing on Bunny Mom using Huntress Lullaby....it was awesome. I'd get 3 to 4 hooks before they finally found the totem. Of course, this was before the Devs decided to broadcast to survivors that there was indeed an active hex....and they needed to go looking for it.
Well, anyway....I don't use it, it's a waste. Killer or Survivor, hexes last less than 2 minutes, tops.
-
Stop using Fraps....it's so '00.
Start using Lightborn if you see a survivor with a flashlight. -

Better to learn to break LoS and hide, which is much more difficult. Looping is effective but doesn't get you much in the way of points because you're constantly in a chase. Everytime you break a chase for 5 seconds, you get an emblem scoring event + BP scoring event.
You will need to learn when it's necessary to run away from an area because of a Killer, and when it's best to just stay crouched down and hide. Worst part of Surviving when you are starting out imo. Depending on the Killer and their Perks, both strategies can be effective. You will need to learn to figure out what Perks they are running as Whispers is the biggest detriment to hiding.
Big thing. Relax, stay calm, and be chill with everything. When you die fast, accept it and move on to the next match. Try to avoid the usual toxic shitslinging and throw out the gg to the Killer. It is actually acceptable to give the props as well in the "report" functions. I do this for Killers who play great and give me a fun match. Even when I die, you can respect the other person's skills.
Funny you should mention that....I'm VERY good at hiding. Many games I don't even get hit or hooked. It just doesn't pay off as well with BPs to simply fix gens. In my very short experience, it turns out....other survivors are my worst enemy.
I'm NOT joking, had a match tonight...I did get hooked once. My FIRST hook (work the damn gens)...within 30 seconds I had 2 other survivors almost fighting to unhook me. The funny part, the Killer was Billy Jr. Revved up the chainsaw, yep....took all 3 of us down. Like really?
I've got the clam thing down as well. And it's NOT that I don't appreciate your help, I honestly do...thanks. It's just very easy to remain calm when your main is a killer, and you don't care about ranks for survivors. I think I'm at 13, and couldn't care less if it drops down to 20 again.
Thanks for the heads up on the emblem break point. It's tough earning points as a survivor. I work gens, rarely save, and run even less. So points are slow.
-
I'm a bit strange....it's simply the way my mind works I think.
Billy is my main....been playing since day one. Didn't care for the Trapper or Wraith. There were only 3 killers back then....so Billy is my guy.
I have the most fun on the Huntress. Ax throws can be awesome. Not yet tired of the song. Really wish totems worked.
The Doctor.....hands down most effective. I'm genuinely shocked if I get less than 3 kills on Doc.
I've dabbled in the others....never got the hang of Nurse, and it's a bit late to start now.
-

Don't know how you count it as a ranged 'attack'. If anything it's a Nerf Ability that nerfs chasing as you have to wait 7 seconds before hitting them.I, personally, count it as a ranged attack simply because it changes a survivors status. It does something to them. I mean, I understand the "funny" because it does NO damage....but it can be used from rage, and it does impact the game.
-
Most of the time I use Iridescent head...2 hits on throws and everyone DCs....no joke. I should do a video on it. Works every time.
