Hello, as you know Leatherface issus one of the weakest killer in the game, and one of the most frustrating if the killer decides to facecamp.
So I have many ideas to change his gameplay, and I think this one could give him a chance to be a real alternative to billy, and also to be self-consistent with the movie's killer.
1. He couldn't use his chainsaw when he want, it would be like a power whose need to charge every 45 seconds.
2. When he uses it, he would have a speed boost during 15 seconds a little bit slower than Billy, but handier than the Oni's one. During his power activation nothing could stop him, even the palett and he could break windows during 15 seconds. So during his power activation he Will ignore paletts, stun and Windows (except a head on stun). If a survivor enter in a loker it will not hit him but will break the locker for 15 seconds, and ending the power.
3. No stun if he hurts a wall or other object with his chainsaw
4. When you hit a survivor with his rusty chainsaw he will have a permanent status "Tetanus" with 3 steps during all the game. Every 45 seconds the step change.
First Step: repairing/healing is 15% slower
Second step: survivors starts to make noises, like coughing. Repairing and healing are 30% slower. Leaving a gen will be 5% longer.
Third Step: survivors have got the broken status, repairing and healing are 45% slower. And survivors starts to bleed a lot, with big traces of blood on the floor. You move 15% slower when you're down, and you healing yourrself 15% slower.
5. To cancel these effects survivors will have to go to medicine stations. But these stations will only cancel these effects for 1 minute. For every survivor hit by the chainsaw, these effects will affect them all the game, and after going to a station, the timer with the steps will begin when you're inside the terror radius for 3 seconds.
7. Hitting a survivor with the hammer won't give any of these effects.
8. Survivors can only go to stations after the second step.
9. During a chase, survivor's steps changes are 50% slower, so it will take more time to passing step 2 to 3 when you are chased.
10. Unhooking a survivor with Tetanus will not give you the status
Now let's see the add-ons:
Rose: 1. [Give a name] putting down a survivor with the chainsaw avoid him to move on the floor (can be counter by Tenacity)
2. [Give a name] putting down a survivor with the chainsaw avoid him to heal himself (can be counter by unbreakable or flip flop)
3. [Give a name]: Your obsession starts in thé first steps
Purple: 1. [Give a name] : Increase your terror radius while not using your Power. Decrease hit while using your power. The chainsaw will make no noise
2. [Give a name] : survivor in step 1/2/3 have 30/40/50% chance to have a reverse skill check. Missing a skill check will reaveal their mates aura who are less than 20 meters.
3. [Give a name] : Every time a survivor go to a medicine station, your power (speed boost with a chainsaw) is 2 second longer (20 sec max)
4. [Give a name]: Unhooking a survivor who have the Tetanus effect will Give the status to the unhooker. The time between passing steps are 20 sec longer.
Green : 1. [Give a name] : Windows and lockers are broken 25 seconds longer. You get stun if you Hurt an other object
2: [GAN]: Considerably increase your chainsaw boost, your mouvement speed become 110%
3: [GAN]: Considerably Increase your power time (10 to 20). Decrease the loading of the power (from 45 to 1min)
4: [GAN]: Considerably increase the chainsaw rotation. Destroying a Palett/Windows will stop the power
5: [GAN]: Moderatly reduce power reloading, from 45 to 25 sec.
Yellow: 1 [GAN] : Reduce power loading (45 to 30)
2: [GAN] : increase chainsaw rotation
3: [GAN] : survivor with 2nd (and 3rd) steps of Tetanus will suffer from the blind status
4: [GAN] : moderatly increase the time at the medicine stations for a survivor
Brown : 1. [GAN]: Increase the time at the medicine station
2. [GAN] : Reduce power reloading (45 to 40)
3 [GAN] Chaisaw can be launch a little bit faster
4 [GAN]: 100% BP on deviouness. No Step 3 in Tetanus
Sorry for my english, it's not my language. If You have other ideas for a decent rework, I'm all ears! And I put a lot of things but it's just ideas.
I think you're adding and changing way too much. It feels like a bad combination of Legion and Billy, and I don't think it would be fun to play against. They should start by fixing Leatherface's addons that don't currently work, and maybe buffing the speed/distance Bubba travels while using his power.

Care to share these stats?

I'm not sure what everyone else's experience is with DC penalties so far, but for me there's still a DC almost every other match while I'm playing solo survivor trying to finish tome challenges.
If what I've read is correct, DC punishments start out very minimal (1 min, 5 min, 10 min, etc.) and then reset after 12 hours of "clean" gameplay? If so, I'm glad the devs are being considerate because there are legitimate reasons to DC, but it may be too easygoing.
It seems to me like people who make a habit out of DCing are still going to do it for their first few games because the first few bans are so minimal they are just a minor inconvenience.
Thoughts? What's your experience been with DC penalties? Is getting a few "free passes" necessary to preserve the integrity of people DCing due to crashes, server issues, and real life emergencies?
The thing is that, no matter how harsh the ban, people will DC anyway. DC penalties don't work because if a survivor wants out of the game then they'll find a way out, punishments be damned. And then what about killing yourself on hook? That achieves the same goal with no repercussions. There's no solution.

No ED doesn't have that much counter-play because of the random nature of the totem spawns. There might be 20+ possible totem spawns on the map, some are easy, some are hard, some are common, others more rare.
Nancy was my first survivor I leveled up and I've always run Inner Strength. Trust me I'm a good totem hunter, but in my almost 200 hours played I don't even think I've seen all the totem spawns in game yet. I know where to look and usually cleanse two to three totems per match, but every once and awhile I get a game where I can't even find one for the life of me because teammates cleanse the easy ones and there's like 1 or 2 super hard ones left. (Lerys, Hawkins and the Game are a nightmare sometimes).
You really shouldn't expect survivors to know the totem spawns on every map, every time. It's not realistic and it's not intuitive. Also, it always has a randomness factor, because you could get an easy map with easy spawns or a hard map with hard spawns. And the killer has no control over what they get.
I get where you're coming from, and honestly I think you just need to play more. The more you play the more accustomed to Totem spawns you'll get. I'm nearing 1,000 hours and I don't have any issues getting all of the hexes down before the last gen pops. Using a Map with Red Twine, Detective's Hunch, and/or Small Game helps as well.

I agree. He needs some buffs and his own add-ons. Maybe something that allows for different playstyles.
Like add-ons to:- chase faster
- charge faster
- reduce terror radius
These are actually changes I have asked for before, I know that LF is MEANT to be the close range punisher, but he isn't right now. these kind of buffs along with a rework to his add-ons would be great.
I feel like a slightly reduced terror radius would be good for a couple reasons.
First off, like you said he's a close range punisher. Survivors would have to actively look out for him because he could get closer without people knowing.
Secondly, in the the original movie he jumps out at Franklin and kills him, (Franklin's Demise is based off of this scene) so a smaller terror radius might make him feel more like the movie him as well. -

I'm going to clear this up for people who can't read well about what I said about Surveillance. I wasn't saying that you have to BOTH Overcharge and Surveillance. Both of them are useless if your facing rank 1-10 survivors. Now for Overcharge. As I said before: However, if your going against good survivors they'll be able to complete the skill check. And as for Surveillance, I probably should have brought a highlighter to say: I rarely use Surveillance. I probably should have been more clear in saying that you HAVE use Surveillance.@Hillbilly420 said:
Overcharge and Surveillance are complete and utter #########. Do not listen to this man. Overcharge is complete and total garbage. Same with Surveillance. I plead with any random who is reading this thread: for the love of god do not use Overcharge or Surveillance. I was going to ignore this thread because it was bad but then I noticed this nonsense and I was like 'Whelp, I have to make a reply now and point out just how stupid the OP is."
Now I'm going to repeat myself again: "However, if your going against good survivors they'll be able to complete the skill check." The difference being if your going against rank 10-20 survivors then Overcharge is good because they haven't learned to hit the small skill checks yet. This list isn't FOR pro killers.
@Hillbilly420 said:
Problem with Overcharge: good Survivors can still hit the skillcheck and even if they fail it only regresses a gen by 5%. 5% is nothing. That sets them back about 3 seconds maybe. In case anyone is curious; same ######### applies to Thanatophobia. Both perks are garbage. The major difference between Thanatophobia and Overcharge is the gen automatically regresses 3%/4%/5% when you fail the skill check. As for Thanatophobia gives a repair speed penalty.
I still do recommend reading the rest of Hillbilly420's thread about using your chainsaw for those who have difficulty with using Hillbilly chainsaw.

@Tombstone218 said:
Would you mind talking about LF?I was going to make another list for the other killers once I get some free time but I'll give you a couple of tips.
Leatherface is a basic killer. He finds survivors, chases them, hooks them and repeats. But Leatherface's chainsaw makes certain situations easier. If your chasing a survivor and there are no pallets, windows, lockers or obstructing objects nearby then use your chainsaw. Why lockers? Survivors can jump into lockers to prevent any damage you try do to them with the chainsaw while in the locker. Basically waiting out your chainsaw attack. Since they have no where to jump away from you they'll try to either juke you or get you to hit a wall. But if you practice this a couple of times you can make chases end pretty fast. Just remember to use the chainsaw add-ons that increase how fast you get the chainsaw ready.Leatherface is also good at preventing unhooking rushes. If you see that a group of survivors is about to try and unhook your prey, then keep your chainsaw rev'd to the max until they leave or try to unhook them. I never understood camping as a killer. It wastes your time so survivors can do gens and escape. But once the exit gates are opened and you have some one on a hook. Then you might as well confirm the kill. Again, I do not recommend camping unless confirming the last kill or survivor unhook rushes.
Going to Leatherface's add-ons the decrease charge time (Spark plug, Primmer Bulb and Carburetor tuning guide) and movement speed (Knife scratches and Beast marks) are the best ones to go with. The acceleration add-ons are good too. Survivors move at 4 m/s or 100% while sprinting. Leather face moves at 4.6 m/s or 115% without a survivor or other perks. While Leatherface is using his chainsaw, he moves at an average of 4.6 m/s or 115%. With Knife scratches he moves an average of 4.7 m/s or 117.5% while using his chainsaw. Beast marks makes him move on an average of 4.95 m/s or 123% while using a chainsaw. Using movement add-ons are a good way to keep up with survivors and mow them down. I'm not saying to use these every time but they are really good. Carburetor tuning guide especially. It's a green rare add-on.
Any set of perks can work on him. If you want more tips on him I recommend this video if your still learning Leatherface:

@CL4P_TRAP_ER said:
Trapper:- • As always, put bear traps after vault points, pallets and doorways. Pallets especially. Survivors love to get a stun in before running from you to get some distance, but vault points are important for this too. Pallet loops are the main way high ranking survivors like to waste your time so others can fix gens. That's why trapping main pallet areas is a smart thing to do.
- • Always try to put traps in tall grass. Unlike Pokemon, tall grass is your best friend as Trapper because survivors can't see traps as well in tall grass. Leaving your trap in the open is a good way for survivors to avoid your traps.
- • Use certain maps to your advantage. Haddonfield is a good example. In Haddonfield, you have alleyways between buildings that survivors have to go through to get to other parts of the map. Put your traps in these alleyways because survivors sometimes HAVE to go through these chock-points because either your chasing them or they have to get to another part of the map. For the swamp put traps on all the entrances of the boat, that way survivors HAVE to wither step in or disarm your trap in order to do anything on the boats. For Lery's, since you don't have a lot of tall grass, put traps under windows so whenever a survivor is running from you they have a high likely chance of running into one of your traps. For Mother's Dwelling (Huntresses' map), trap the tall grass upstairs so when survivors try to go to the gen that always spawns there, they get a nasty surprise. For the Preschool, trap both entrance to the preschool so that, again, they have to deal wit your trap in order to move through the preschool which is a major foot traffic area for survivors. Also you can put a trap on one of the stairs for the basement so if you chase one of them down there, they'll run into your trap. For the game, trap the clean room where the yellow gen always spawns and trap any doorways/chock-points. I could go on but you get the point. Trap chock-points and high survivor foot traffic areas.
Wraith:
- • Don't always uncloak. If you find a survivor and as your uncloaking they either sprint burst away or vault through a window, STOP UNCLOAKING. Unless you have a add-on that makes you uncloak faster you'll just waste the speed benefit you get while cloaked. If they have a distance lead on you use your cloaked speed to catch back up to them. Then when your near them again uncloak. Another tip to add to this is scaring survivors away from gens. If you find a survivor/s doing a gen, ding your bell then stop uncloaking. What will happen is they'll run away and while invisible, you can kick the gen and then find them and chase them. Don't use this trick all the time though.
- • Use the correct add-ons. The Wraith has some pretty good add-ons. The light burn resistance is a bad add-on so avoid that one if you can. The most important add-ons he has are uncloaking faster, a slight movement burst after uncloaking and seeing survivors auras. Running uncloaking faster and slight movement burst is a good combo because you'll waste no time uncloaking and the movement burst will guarantee a hit. The aura reveling add-on is good too because it is extremely good at finding survivors. Plus, the add-on basically has built in deerstalker, so when your down to two survivors, down one then search for the other so he/she can't get hatch. You'll find the down survivor easily because of your invisibility Bloodhound and your add-on.
- • Use your body. While your invisible, you can use your body to block survivors into a corner or away from a pallet.
Hillbilly:
- • Use chainsaw for distance. I know this sounds pretty obvious but I can't stress it enough. Unless your on a map like Lery's or the Game, use your chainsaw to both get across the map and get used to the turning of your chainsaw.
- • Don't use your chainsaw during pallet loops. I've seen it SO many times playing survivor. Hillbilly revs his chainsaw while the survivor runs around the loop knowing that the Hillbilly is slowed and the survivor can always go around a corner of the loop to avoid the chainsaw. Unless you have the insta-chainsaw add-ons, your just going to waste time.
- • Use Overcharge or Surveillance. Majority of the time your going to sprint to a gen with your chainsaw and see a decent amount of progress on it. Your not going to be able to find the survivor and waste more time. With Overcharge, all you need to do is kick the gen and then sprint away. Odds are the survivor is going to fail the skill check when you sprint away. When this happens you can sprint back and catch the survivor. However, if your going against good survivors they'll be able to complete the skill check. That's when you use one of the worst perks in the game, Surveillance. I rarely use Surveillance, but if I do it's usually with Hillbilly. The one thing about Surveillance is that it has some of the same quality as Overcharge but sneakier. Once you kick the gen, immediately sprint away and watch the gen's gray aura. If you see it change after the few seconds you left, sprint back. The thing about survivors is once they don't hear your terror radius, they assume they're safe. Once you sprint away, they won't hear your terror radius, thus making them resume to repairing the gen.
Nurse:
- • Practice, Practice, Practice. Every pro killer can agree that the Nurse is the strongest killer in the game. Why? Because she can both ignore pallets and get to survivors much easier than most killers. The problem is that she is extremely hard to play. Survivors can counter her very easily by either running towards her while she is blinking or hide around a corner until she blinks and then hide around the other side of the corner. That's why you need to practice with her A LOT. You also must be very resilient if you want to play her. What I recommend is try playing her for one full day or night every once and a while. That way you can get to know her and get better.
- • Know when to Blink. The Nurse, much like Hillbilly, is extremely good at getting across the map faster. Use this to always get to gens. But when you find a survivor, don't blink every chance you get. Like a said before survivors can abuse your blinks and avoid you. However, this doesn't mean don't blink at all. The best way to hit survivors is to blink and hit. Use your blink to get closer to them and then once you've blink within hitting distance swing at them but don't swing each time. If you swing after blinking and miss, your exhaustion time is much longer. Know when to strike and when it's best to do a safety blink right next to them.
- • Be careful with add-ons. The Nurse add-ons are pretty normal. The problem is that they mess up your muscle memory. If you put different types of add-ons on every game you play, it's going to mess up the way you play. The best type of add-ons you can use are blinking range, lowering your exhaustion timer and how many blinks you have.
Hag:
- • Trap everywhere. Now that the Hag received an extreme buff to her setting speed, putting down traps isn't that much of a hassle. Much like Trapper, trap chock-points and survivor foot traffic areas. You have 10 traps. Use them.
- • Counter pallet looping. Since the Hag can now put her traps down faster, she can counter pallet loops much like the Nurse. If a survivors is looping you, put your trap down on the near one of the sides of the pallet. So you can teleport next to them and hit them. Don't put the trap too close to the pallet. If you do, the survivor can still have that split second to get to the other side of the pallet and stun you. Put the trap somewhere around the loop. Anywhere works. If the survivor sees or hears you placing the trap, they'll run away to the next loop or window. Which is fine because you can catch them before they get to the next loop majority of the time.
- • ALWAYS TRAP HOOKED SURVIVORS. Again, I feel like it shouldn't be said but I have to stress this. Putting your trap in front of hooked survivors both lets you teleport and either down the hooked survivor or pull the rescuing survivor off the hooked survivor. Plus, it wastes the rescuing survivors time because they need to crouch as not to get either of them killed.
- • Trap basement/Try and hook survivors in basement. You'd be surprised how many survivors you can get by trapping the basement with one of your traps. Plus, if you hook a survivor in the basement, the best way to both catch the rescuing survivor or waste their time is put a trap in front of hooked survivor, one on the flat square on the staircase and one at the entrance of the basement. This has a high chance of catching the rescuing survivor and, if they catch on, wastes a lot of their time. Time that you can use to get back to the basement.
- • Use add-ons. Ever since the Hag received a buff on her add-ons and her range, I fell in love with her again. Now her add-ons make her a lot more fun to play. Especially, if you double down on add-ons. For example, if you run 2 range add-ons, you can basically reach anywhere in the map without any cons of using the add-ons.
- • Monitor and Abuse Perk. Since the Hag has a 24 meter terror radius, making it smaller throws survivors off. having a 18/17/16 meter terror radius makes finding survivors as easy as using Myers. Trust me it works.
Doctor:
- • Make them go mad. The Doctor is my favorite killer in the game. Although he's not the best, he does a damn good job of finding survivors. The number one thing I do with the doctor is get the survivor I'm chasing into Madness III. That way, once they get off the hook they can't self-care themselves until they cure themselves of Madness III. The rescuing survivor can heal them but the survivor still has to waste more time getting out of Madness III. Plus in Madness II they'll still have a rough time because of the random skill checks across the screen. Another good reason the get the survivor your chasing into Madness III once you find them is so that you know where they are if they lose you. And they can't use flashlights on you when your breaking a pallet.
- • Built in Deerstalker. This is an excellent way to avoid the hatch game. When there are 2 survivors left, put one survivor into Madness III and then leave them on the ground. (Survivors can still receive Madness and scream in a dying state). Then search for the other survivor. If the other survivor heals the downed survivor or the survivor uses Unbreakable. Then down the again and look for the other survivor.
- • Fear your terror radius. The best way to win as Doctor is have the right perks. Distressing is a must because it makes your terror radius/Treatment mode bigger. Plus, Doctor gets A LOT of Deviousness points and Distressing makes it even more. Unnerving Presence makes skill checks impossible for survivors because not only not only are skill checks shaky and on other parts of your screen, but now there smaller and they're is a higher chance of skill checks to pop up.
- • Order Add-on. Order is my favorite add-on because it grants you a lot of free hits. Order makes fake pallets take the place of broken pallets. Making survivors you chase think their safe but they're not and you get a free hit. Plus it makes people Mad much faster which helps you overall.
- • Don't stay in Treatment. In Treatment mode, you move slower than you usually do, which can give survivors a chance to get away from you. Only use Treatment mode to prevent survivors from vaulting/looping and when your close to them.
- • Check lockers. Lockers are the one of the only ways for survivors to avoid your madness. If you think a survivors is nearby, don't be afraid to check the lockers. You'd be surprised how many survivors you find in lockers near generators.
Unfortunately, I ran out of space here to talk about the other killers so I have to make another post. If you have any questions or want to know more about a certain killer then ask me.
I know that Hillbilly420 already said some stuff about LF but I would still appreciate it if you gave some knowledge on The Cannibal.

This is the Dead by Daylight forums you dip. While you're here would you like to talk about GTA5 too? Minecraft maybe? Since those are just as related.
-
To clarify since my initial comment might be a bit confusing: To actually make the hatch visibly spawn unopened the minimum amount of generators you can repair is 3, with 2 survivors alive. And to get it open you have to have a key or you have to be the last one alive, and there has to be 2 generators repaired at the very least. The hatch only spawns once there's 1 or more generators repaired than there are survivors alive, meaning 5 generators makes it spawn with 4 survivors alive, 4 generators to make it spawn for 3, etc.
-
Actually the hatch only starts existing after 3 generators, and that's assuming there's 2 people left. 2 generators is the minimum to make it spawn, but it only spawns once it's that last person left. So you shouldn't be having problems if all 5 gens are unrepaired.

why would you support a sexual predator. Even though this company talked about it, if they ever did release a DLC for Jeeper Creepers that directly supported this man, I would not buy it and have a different view on the game. The only way I would support this if 100% of the profit went to the 12 year old boy he molested.
It's doubtful that the Creeper is owned by Victor Salva. After all, Tobe Hooper didn't own Leatherface and John Carpenter doesn't own Michael.
wrote and directed it. so YES HE DOES.
Not trying to be mean, but you don't know how character licenses work, do you? Thomas Harris created Hannibal Lecter, but he doesn't own the rights to the character and therefore receives no money if they choose to make more films. He also has no say in what they do with the characters. That's how licensing works. Licenses mean the person who makes the decisions about the property. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Victor doesn't own anything.
Even if he doesn't make money off of it, we still shouldn't support him.

You are cursed with having to keep moving every time it appears. Cant sit and do a gen without it appearing, cant hide in a locker, cant escape it.Although it doesn't give away your precise location I liken it to a mutant variation of 'Whispers'. I'm calling it OP!

Ever since I made the switch over and got a bit more use to Billy's chainsaw mechanic, I don't regret it at all. Billy just seems far superior in almost every aspect and Leatherface essentially feels like a slow, clunky version of Billy.
Here's a couple examples of what I've noticed about Leatherface: His main and best ability, BBQ, feels useless on him because of how slow he trucks across the map whereas Billy can zip right over and the "data" is still relevant. His chainsaw mechanic, while amazing and soooo much fun, has a huge penalty for bumping into something whereas Billy quickly recovers. You can't effectively patrol generators or exit gates like Billy can. That being said, I just feel like a fat idiot running around on the map while playing LF. I still miss playing LF though because he was a lot of fun. The feeling of hitting 2+ survivors with your chainsaw is so satisfying.
Just curious what you LF mains out there think?
Hi, I'm a Rank 1 LF main. I don't exactly use a camping build, but I do utilize the basement pretty heavily. I use Agitation, Iron Grasp, Territorial Imperative and Monitor and Abuse. You're right about Billy being superior in almost every aspect, but no one punishes altruistic survivors better than a good Leatherface in the right place at the right time, and boy howdy have I seen LOTS of hyper-altruistic survivors at rank 1. I like playing Leatherface because of how easily he can snowball given the right circumstances. I'm also just a fan of the character.

Funny as hell storyRoots are the spawn of the devil. To make the matter worse regarding my broken foot, I was climbing around on rocks, no problem and then I stepped onto a root and broke my [BAD WORD] foot. That was pretty recent too, in May. In the first week of May, also the first week of my vacation v_v

Yikes I did not give much context in my original comment. Somehow it had come up in conversation that I didn't like onions, so naturally like 7 year old me thought of the perfect plan to prove her wrong. That plan being to pick up a whole onion off the counter and take a big bite out of it, like an apple. Immediately spitting it out and coughing did not prove my point very well.

Protip: (again) Your opinions aren't universal and you obviously did not take anything from my last message into consideration. They could be playing the game and just want the achievements as a side thing. And if they did buy the game for achievements then who are you to judge? You're some ######### on a video game forum, go find a new hobby.LOL achievements are there to sucker people into playing the game more than they normally would. It's not an opinion, it's basic psychology. I've seen people waste hundreds of hours to get achievements in games they don't even enjoy just for the sake of getting them all. If you wanna support that kind of BS go ahead.
Advertisements sucker people into buying or playing things at all. Comfortable beds sucker people into sleeping more than they would. Good tasting food suckers people into eating more than they would. Do you hear how ######### stupid that sounds? Achievements may be a waste of time in your eyes but some people like them. They like the satisfaction of completing them. And if the game didn't have them I bet my life that people would be asking for them. Just because you have a specific view on them DOESN'T MAKE IT A FACT! We get that you're an #########, you don't have to drive the point home.

No stupid achievements are stupid and if you play game for achievements you should find a new hobby. They were literally put there to make completionists grind on a game for as long as possible.

Killer brings in a Ward, he or she are free to test and explore a new add-on without the fear of losing it to it being smacked out of their hand and dying before being able to retrieve it (or a "teammate" stealing it). Survivor doesn't have the same benefit if the killer uses Franklin's Demise and it doesn't feel all that fair. What if the perk made survivors unable to use their item for a certain amount of time instead of knocking it out of their hand? It could correlate with a flat time or with an objective being done (like add a new thing a survivor would need to do to unlock the item).
Not only does that idea make the perk incredibly weak, but it doesn't even make sense in the context of the killer it's coming from. Franklin's Demise is based off of a scene in The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, in which a character named Franklin is brutally murdered by Leatherface, dropping the flashlight he was carrying as result. It's a direct tie to the movie in which Leatherface came, and a good perk. Is it really all that difficult to find your item later?
The issue is when someone else takes the item when you have a white ward. Someone else suggested the item would go back to your inventory regardless (if you didn't use it up). I was also thinking it may be a good idea to like lock it to the character (like make it not visible and pick-up-able to others).
White Ward specifically says that you keep the item in case you die. Not if you drop or lose it. If you don't have the item at the time of your death then why would you keep it?

Am I the only one who disslikes those killer buffs?
I was biggest fan of this game before, but now... Sorry but this game pissing me off nowdays.
You keep buffing killers because what?
If you gonna do that, so start ban people who camps, tunnels others (you have no chance at ALL to play any single match).
And stream snipers (i'm a streamer and this happens too often)!!! It's a cheat! Why don't you do anything about this?
Those 3 groups of people should be seriously get a ban. This game is no more fun because of those things.
And waiting time to play as a killers are insane. If you're unhappy then quit the game! No one needs you here!
And you kind of ask to be stream sniped with that tag in your name. Deal with it.

PC
Badham Preschool (In the school and especially in the boiler room exclusively)
Killer
Wraith (but from what I've seen the killer I'm playing as doesn't effect anything)
I was simply chasing survivors and FPS became unbearable. Not using my power, no pallets being dropped, just regular movement. -

I really like interacting with you guys this way. So far, I've gotten a lot of interesting responses! I'm honestly surprised I've gotten this many already. So, I'll ask you all another! I will generally just keep it to 2 Killers at a time, so who do you prefer this time, Trapper or Hag? Since they both got a rework, I am interested to see what kind of responses will come from this.I love Trapper. I love foothold traps, I love the feeling of setting one and I absolutely love when survivors step in my traps. The only problem is that Trapper has very few traps compared to hag. Beartraps have a small hitbox, and they can be disabled without the need for additional items, and then if they get disabled that's time you've wasted. (not to mention potential frustration if you're like me) Trapper placements are also somewhat predictable. Almost always in tall grass, behind windows and under pallets. It's true that you can counter Hag with crouching but I don't see many people running Urban Evasion all that often, and I find it tedious to crouch walk everywhere when I could just run and hide when I activate a trap.
My answer is Trapper for looks and satisfaction, and Hag for kills.

Following up my "Question For Killers" post, I wanted to ask another question to interact with the community more. What killer do you all prefer? The fast and spoopy Hillbilly, or the devastating tusken raider Cannibal?Billy is stronger than LF overall, there's no doubt about that, but Leatherface is better in certain situations than Billy is. Overall you're most likely better off with Billy due to his movement. Leatherface is fun though.

How many of you like me regret now taking Bitter murmur to rank 3 on most of your killers now?to me bitter murmur is still not good enough to be used in any of my serious builds
Try it on
Huntress, Nurse or Billy.
A Killer that can react to it better.
I only really play Billy of those three, and I already have a build I really like for him, even if it isn't super powerful.

If killers are so weak and camping is okay? How come I see killers higher ranked who aren't campers? Last I checked this game is skilled based, any body can sit and wait for someone to die on a hook. but it takes a real killer to kill everyone without sitting. Camping is such a touchy subject for killers and most believe its fine, whatever I can't stop you, but I don't see you advancing in ranks.
And if killers are as weak as you say they are, why play them? why not try survivor or play another game you can win at (if thats all you want)I don't care at this point but I'm just saying its a bit counter productive if you want to win at something you know you suck at.
I know killers are weak, I've played killer before, but even so why play them if all your going to do is not have fun?
Before the most recent rank reset I was a rank 4 Leatherface who proxy camped the basement as my main strategy. I am doing fine with ranking, thanks.

Does't help much honestly saying, it just made the animation look terrible and already very nerfed flashlights almost unusable atleast for nowHaving played with the new pick up times I can tell you that you're wrong. It may not help a ton, but it definitely does save time. And flashlights are still usable. I would know with how many times I've already been blinded into dropping a survivor.
