I'm working on an all hex build for the Twins right now. Kind of irritated I have to buy the Artist for the one perk but that's how it goes.

Nice! Let me know how it turns out ok! Im reluctant to do all Hex build with Twins for a few reasons but i may try it

  • @GiveMeBoops said:

Plaything is really bad with full hex build... you can get only 2 totems from it.

And problem with only plaything and pentimento is that survivors can just ignore it.

What are you talking about? Have you ever played all Hex builds because i feel like you didnt at all with that statement. Plaything is a must for Hex: Pimento therefore its the exact opposite. Numerous times i've gotten 4 stacks of Pimento and its usually gg after that. Yeah they can destroy Hex: Pimento some time after that but thats why Plaything is there, to ensure its up longer (after 4 stacks)

Plaything is in no way bad at all with all Hexes and quite good, you should try it considering if your good with killer.

  • The thread starter is really comparing COH to NOED? LOL NOED will get you a down and maybe a hook and "hopefully" a kill. COH has to constantly get destroyed and OH guess what. COH has to constantly be destroyed by the killer. You really wanna go there? lol

  • A built in BT for survivor? Lmao Have the dev's completely lost it? Give survivors a "huge" buff while killer stays the same (actually weaker and weak killers have been getting nerfed) haha. So people who want to play killer more like me are basically gonna get screwed over big time by this. Now were gonna have to have a strategy based around BT which is gonna be waaaaay more scummier..If you think we were tunneling and camping NOW! haha If this gets implemented its definetly not gonna be healthy for the game! I can guaruntee that

No, it's still pretty horrible. You can polish a turd, but it's still a turd. It's also really dull.

The Rag iri is a perfect iri. It changes up her gameplay, gives a powerful benefit but also a drawback - and some interesting decision making. More iris should be made along those lines (takes a sad look at Artist and Pyramid Head).

I'm not even sure Hag is at the top of A tier anymore. She's more like mid. The current meta is actually incredibly strong against Hag.

    Highly disagree

Bodyblocker Hag is awful. She's...mediocre on indoor maps and utter crap on any large outdoor maps. It's mostly a meme build and should be one brown addon with a BP boost attached to it (which is the standard for meme builds).

I never said Body Bloick Hag was good, i said that her Iri add-on isnt bad because of what you can do to it. If you really wanna get funky her Rag iri is worse because it has a 15 second cool down so you can miss potential downs. Body Block Hag (Waterlogged Shoe) is actually buffed after the a patch or two ago so its not as horrible as your making it sound.

overrated, wrongly misplaced as S tier and a killer that doesn't require an ounce of skill. gets destroyed by boons as hags dont commit to chases. what's more to say.

Hag is not a S tier killer due to her counterplay but sits at the top of A+. Same for Huntress, as good as she is she isnt S tier because her chases arent that short

  • @Shroompy said:

    yes

This upcoming mid chapter will only achieve an 85% increase tho since the eye is being nerfed from 50% to 35%

I really enjoy her, but I understand why other people don't.

She's the ultimate snowball killer. If you can't apply pressure early, you are in for a bad time. Once the hooks start coming, she's a menace.

She requires a very different process of thought.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2746084#Comment_2746084

Rag is a perfect iri. Especially considering how worthless her other iri is (it's one of the few literally worse than an empty slot).

Shackles has much the same reasoning. It's powerful, but has a drawback.

Honestly, all killer addons, especially purples and pinks, should be around this level of power. Far too many are boring, rubbish or boring rubbish.

Its a matter of opinion but you saying Rag is good but Waterlogged Shoe isnt? Actually Waterlogged Shoe is supposed to be paired with Scarred Hand so that shes body block so this is far from a "bad" Iri. Body block Hag isnt very good but not horrible

What is decent counterplay to requiring crouch walking everywhere? Apart from disarming traps in animation lock, you risk letting the killer teleport to you just to set another of her 10 infinite use traps in its place. Sure you can use a flashlight, but that's limited battery vs. an unlimited use power. Run Urban Evasion in the off chance the killer is Hag? Then crouch walk away from someone I just unhooked, leaving them hopeless to go down again?

Something tells me you are the casual survivor who maybe has never played against many Hags at higher level - if any. Also see the comment right below yours.

Actually Hag is one of my high MMR killers, one of my mains and i catch wreck with her because im godlike and its the build i use with her. Every killer cant be the same and your acting like she doesnt have to respect pallets or force survivors to abandon them which takes up time. People cant complain about Hag but then say Nurse and Blight are fine, that doesnt make any sense..

As far as how good i am with survivor, im great at the game period so that means i perform very well on both sides, i just main killer because if something were on the line i'd go with that side. Hag makes survivors have to play really well and actually use they're brains and make better decisions in general in the game and people dont like that because outside of Nurse and Blight they want easy wins. They have a bad and or weaker type of mentality.

  • @GoshJosh said:

Total rework needed. If not, traps immediately around a hooked survivor are disarmed among an unhook.

Why does Hag need a rework when she already has decent counterplay? Are you a casual survivor because i feel like only casuals would say something like this. Im very competitive and want Hag to be left alone which isnt asking for much at all

I’m a killer main. I’d appreciate if you not lump me in with people opposed to removing the masks. Stop generalizing.

Im a killer main, black and i play Leatherface and dont mind the Blackface Bubba! If the conditions were easier i'd have my Black Face Leatherface but oh well.

  • Top 5 or 6 killer for sure at A+

  • Ok after playing Hex: Pimento for about a week i've concluded that the perk is actually decent and not totally trash like i originally said. I still dont think the perk is too good at all but has potential. The most success i've had with it was with

Hex: Pimento/ Ruin/Plaything/Third Seal, Thrill of The Hunt or Retribution with various killers mainly Trapper, Doctor, Pig, Plague and Nemesis (Nemesis is the killer i've had the most success with using Hex: Pimento builds)

Your pressure has to be good so that you give them an incentive to go destroy Ruin and Third Seal etc.

For something generally legal in a tournament setting, or just theory crafting?

    For something legal:

    1-We'll Make It/Second Wind/BT/Exhaustion

2- Deliverance/DS/BT/Sprint Burse (SB has to go with Deli. No point in Deli if you can't run away from a contested hook)

    3- Wake Up/Iron Will/Adrenaline/Exhaustion

4- Camaraderie/Leader/Unbreakable/Balanced Landing (pretty much has to go with the Cama/toolbox user)

    For something insidious:

Two survivors with CoH. Two survivors with Botany Knowledge/Mettle of Man/medkits. M1 killer gets no downs.

I main killer and my killers and the perks i use would do well against your team, im always looking out for BT and i just may not respect your DS or choose to risk it and eat one because i felyt like it was worth it. My biggest problem on that team would most likely be survivor #1.

For all out no restrictions that team idea

    sounds broken! lol

You can't burn map offerings and how successful this team could be depends on how well they strategize against Frankins Demise and how they deal with it.

    @Gwinty said:

Damn, when I read that title I though I was to bring creative things and already had some ideas...

I will just leave them here while the others come up with the best perks to pick next to 4x Dead Hard...

    Team Protect the President:

#1 - Object of Obession, Prove Thyself, Deceisive Strike, Overcome + Map

#2 - Blood Pact, Borrow Time, Babysitter, Dead Hard + Flashlight

#3 - Blood Pact, Flashbang, Borrow Time, Head On + Med Kit (Stiptic Agents)

#4 - Blood Pact, Flashbang, Blast Mine, Sprint Burst + Med Kit (Stiptic Agents)

Map offerings for higher or lower difficulty are okay.

The med kits can be used on the survivors themself, but the Agents are only for the President. Use Dead Hard to jump in the way if you can. You can swap one of the Bodyguard Perks for "We are gonna live forever" or "Boon: Exponential". The goal is to protect #1 who gets constant action because of Object of Obsession. You win if #1 escapes through the gate, your death means nothing.

    Scavengers:

#1 - Sprint Burst, Plunderer Instinct, Appraisal, Ace in the Hole + No item

#2 - Dead Hard, Flashbang, Borrow Time, Mettle of Man + No item

#3 - Lithe, Diversion, Urban Evasion, Quick & Quiet + No item

#4 - Overcome, Pharmacy, Ace in the Hole, Botany Knowledge + Med Kit

Coin Offerings are a must, map offerings are welcome for anything but Haddonfun, Badham and Yamaoak as they do not fit the theme of looting and adventuring.

Get as many items as possible. #1 has the goal to pick up as many as possible, your goal is to use as many items as possible during the match and escape with at least 1 new item.

That has potential but honestly i dont think it will do to well against a top killer. Only one survivor on this team has Dead Hard but there is one with Sprint Burst which can be ok. Three Blood Pacts wouldnt be enough and your gonna run into a Franklins Demise user for sure, especially if its tournament (my own tournament with my rules)

Your second team would do worst than your orginal, my apologies for being so blunt. No Descisive, No Unbreakable. Top killers like myself would destroy this team. I also burn Cut Coins pretty often so your teams attempt to get extra items to increase they're chances of survival are negated. Map offereings arent included in this so you wouldnt be able to burn one.

  • @StarLost said:

Team 1 is my absolute worst case scenario, because what they generally do is 99% the final gen and then meme for 30 minutes because on some maps, two sabos can create a completely unhookable zone (on a handful of maps, one is enough), allowing you to take the match hostage unless the killer gets very lucky or has an instadown.

    Yeah, that sounds annoying enough.

  • I main killer but that does not mean that i only play with or am really strong with killer! I play both sides but if there were a tournament or if $$ were on the line i'd go in with killer thus MY definition of a "killer main" differs from others. With that being said Im not uninstalling even though the game is horribly unbalanced i just take a break from killer or try and find new ways to kill survivor, to each his own though.

  • Stop giving survivors that like to teabag at exit gates the benefit of the doubt! Let them stand there and look stupid and teabag air! They never WILL cross that invisible line i set will they? lol I might have STBFL

  • @GoodBoyKaru said:

i thought people did that anyway, if you dont wanna get tbagged at gates then dont go to the gates if you know theyre all there + go get more bp by breaking pallets and such

No they dont! I still see plenty killers going to the gates rather than saving face. Aalso theres not always something to break endgame.

    @dugman said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2729057#Comment_2729057

Exactly what I do, I go break pallets and watch for the hatch. Also you never know, you might get lucky and spot a straggler.

You wont get lucky because people are not stupid. i go to the far end of the map and they NEVER come over to where i am, not one single person, again because people arent stupid and know better. Also im talking about if the last gen is popped and there are more than 2 survivors left so no hatch would spawn.

  • Played a few games with Hex: Pimento again today and i 4k'ed with Pig using Hex: Undying/Hex: Plaything/Hex: Thrill of the Hunt/Hex: Retribution. In that game i got 3 stacks of Pimento but couldnt really see the value it, 3 stacks as the effect isnt very good at all. Lost a Pimento trapper build and then lost using the same build but with Doctor and with Haunted Grounds. Havent really changed my opinion, Hex: Pimento is bad and not worth running over Sloppy Butcher/No Way Out, NOED etc.

Someone here mentioned that Plaything is a must and i can see why, still the perk is very underwhelming and doesnt do anything crazy. If im gonna have 1, 2 stacks the most the majority of the games i'd rather run Udying/Ruin/Sloppy Butcher or Corrupt/Pop. Can win with it but its terribly inconsistent. Not a good perk but can be semi decent.

  • @Ghoste said:

You have to run Plaything with it for it to be viable. They will cleanse eventually, and you only need 1 stack to get the gen slowdown. -30% repair speed is no joke.

It's not top-tier, but certainly not at the bottom of the barrel.

Hex: Pimento is trash lol. Its a C+ tier perk "at best" and has the potential to be a B or B+ only with other hex perks. Im trying stuff out because im good enough to do so. I actually see some kind of potential in it so im trying these builds built around the perk (Hex: Pimento)

    @anarchy753 said:

The only way Pentimento works is if you have Plaything, and usually Thrill on top of it, because people are very happy to just boon Plaything totems, as almost every time you see Plaything these days you can assume Pentimento as well.

At that point you're running 3 hex perks which are doing basically nothing JUST in the hopes that you get a stack of Pentimento to slow gens down, which they can then remove anyway because they already know where the totem is.

Alternatively you could run 3 other stalling perks and achieve a much better, more reliable result.

Its not the only way but one way. I'll try Retribution, im not a fan of Plaything, it requires too much work for a build that already needs work to be put in before they slam all the gens.

  • Ok so i played 3 games in a row with Hex: Pimento and these were my results

    Game 1: Myers

    Hex: Pimento/Hex: Thrill of The Hunt/ Hex: Undying/Thanatophobia :

I lost this really bad. They just rushed the gens and didnt touch not one totem the whole match. I realized after that i need them to have an incentive to break totems so i was gonna change my Pimento build up. All 4 escaped, it was on Dead Dawn Saloon.

    Game 2: Pig

Hex: Pimento/ Hex: Ruin/ Hex: Devor Hope/ Hex: Thrill of the Hunt

This was an absolute shutout and i destroyed the survivors on Swamp map. They found all the totems except Ruin which stood up the whole game before they all died. Pimento got destroyed and i rekindled it, got destroyed again and that was the end of Hex: Pimento. I never got more than one stack of Pimento the whole game but got the 4K with 4 gens left.

    Game 3: Trapper

Hex: Pimento/Hex: Undying/ Hex: Retribution/Hex: Thrill of The Hunt

The team i went against got shut down really bad. A Mikela booned a dull totem but i immediately snuffed it out and chased her. She laster booned a part of the map i wasnt really going to and at that point i didnt care, none could benefit from the boons because they put it on the non 3 gen side. They were found a few of the Hexes but i caught one trying to cleanse one and killed her in which she was on deathhook then the last person found my trapped up Hex but just disarmed the trap and left the Hex alone. (Guess he didnt want me to know his general location. 3 3K with 1 escaping through hatch after he abandoned interacting with his team all together. Trapper is my second highest MMR killer currently.

    Comment and Conclusions:

I only played Hex: Pimento 3 games but it seems like it needs to go with Ruin, Devour Hope, Third Seal, Undying and or Retribution then Thrill of The Hunt or Thanatophobia as mandatory for it to be effective and or optimal. I still dont think the perk is very good but it can definetly stall the game with people taking time to bless or cleanse totems. Again they need an incentive to break totems in the first place otherwise its just not gonna work at all like in my Myers game where they probrably didnt ven know i had three Hex perks lol. It seems very underwhelming and i believe there are better all Hex builds you can make. I

I think its very risky to use against high level survivors and in the long run wont be worth the perk slot at high MMR. If survivors still attempt to rush gens with Ruin still up then Pimento is not doing anythin crazy. I honestly dont know your suppose to get 3-5 stacks when alll you can seemingly get in standard matches is 1 stack so i dunno. I'll try more tomorrow and report back here because i like the challenge of using weaker but unpredicatable perks thatt throw survivor off. I really want these 4 and 5 stacks so i can see if the effects are worth running it. So more Hex: Pimento play tomorrow! )

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2717079#Comment_2717079

So I envision Hex: Thrill of the Hunt, Undying, and Plaything. The last perk can be Corrupt, or Ruin if it fancies you. You could even run Retribution for intel if you need it that badly. Just brainstorming.

Its so risky to use but im actually gonna try a Hex: Pimento all perk build similar to your suggested one and let you know the results, how i did the strengths, weaknesses etc.

    @Sepex said:

I run Pentimento as a filler perk. Some games I get benefit, some not. Yeah people leave dull totems for boons, but a surprising numbers of players cleanse them just for the points.

I don't play overly competitive so idc if it's sometimes useless.

Its actually rare for people to destroy boons in the current meta because they know the value and purpose for boon users so they'll leave them alone. Pre boons i would agree with you that people cleanse dull totems for the points and to get rid of NOED so it was way more common but again not in this meta so it makes Hex: Pimento very weak.

    @Pulsar said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2717096#Comment_2717096

    Yeah, I do.

But my winrate is also absurdly high so idk if it should count.

Play with Hex: Pimento for 5 games and let me know the results. Hopefully your honest if you agree to this. I did this with Doctor for the sake of the thread. No crtiqing i promise, i really dont think you can be consistent with this perk but please feel free to prove me wrong.

    @Sonzaishinai said:

Hex: Pentimento is amazing but it needs a build build around it. It's by definition a build around me perk.

Thrill is needed to stop the boon problem but it completly shuts it down. You can't spend close to a minute blessing a hex with thrill up without throwing the game against a competent killer.

Even with a build built around it i dont think its that good still. In theory it sounds great bc survivors are off of gens but in actual matches i dont think it will have much of an impact at all. Im actually gonna play with Hex: Pimento today too, while trying to not lower my MMR so just like i told the guy in a previous post im gonna try builds built around Hex: Pimento and let you know the results

  • @Pulsar said:

    It's good.

I consistently get good value from it.

Do you win with it consistently though? Win ie 3k and 4k's

  • @Akumakaji said:

Hex: Pentimento has its problems, but it ain't useless at all. A lot of hex-heavy builds make use if it; something like Plaything, Thrill of the Hunt, Undying and Pentimento: you hit the survivors, they become blind and will have to cleanse the Plaything totem in order to become useful again. The totem cleanses will take forever and you will always have one or two Pentimento rekindled totems up. Its an increadible stall build that will make survivors waste ton of time cleansing some totems, while you prey on them and the other survivors have a miserable time getting gens done with -30%

Thats just an example but you could easily do something similar with a slightly less hex heavy approach.

Still, you are right that boons hurt Pentimento and its normally just used for its first or second power. I honestly cant see the 4th or even 5th instance of Pentimento going off in a natural game that isnt staged. Its never gonna happen. What if you could rekindle every tampered totem or boon, and they couldn't be recleansed? So it generates the dilemma for survivors: do I get rid of Ruin/Plaything, but then face a -30% gen andhealing speed debuff for the rest of the game or live with the hexes effects? I really would have loved it in this version, as hexes right now are laughable most of the time and just get cleansed away in the 1st minute of the trial, unless you literally go all in with 3 or 4 Hex perks.

Never said it was useless but that its trash. In theory what you described sounds great but requires you to constantly check totems in hopes that they're trying to bless it (or in hopes of breaking and not blessing it) Plaything is good until they have Spine Chill! haha I see what your saying but its honestly alot of work that you may not benefit from. Will it work with Undying/Ruin?

Again survivors are 80% of the time gonna bless totems and not destroy them.

    @IsJustMe said:

I use it with Plaything on my Mains. Pentimento is all but not Garbage

Ok, tell me why it isnt.

    @Uriah119 said:

You “can” make it work but you have to build exclusively into it. I could see a Ghostface build with it.

Can you honestly win with Hex: Pimento (3 or 4k)? Its not even consistent. Sure you can have one good game where no one runs boons but then the next 4 or 5 WILL have boons lol. I've tried all Hex builds before and they're pretty decent depending on the combo but Pimento is not good at all imo. Even if they bless Haunted Grounds or Retribution it prox's. Pimento doesnt prox because"multiple" totems need to be destroyed for it to have its strong effects

  • Hex: No One Escapes Death is a little overrated and or over exaggerated!

  • Someone actually told me that 4k'ing means im playing at low MMR or that my MMR is getting lowered! Lol

Yeah..so now that i know that im playing at high MMR with Doctor Im probrably gonna play him until i reach red rank 1 so he's also my ranking up/pipping Killer as well.

The killers I do well with are those that are at the lower end of my MMR range. I 4K in these games not because I am good with the killer, but because the survivors are not so good. The killers I am better at I do badly with because I get better opponents.

    MMR messes with my head!

If your not good with killer then eventually the survivors will exploit you. Its ok you'll just get better and develop better strategies. This game is in survivors favor so you gotta play dirty alot of the times (camping if no one immediately unhooks when you leave and coming back and ensure they reach stage 2 or struggle phase stuff like that) Do what you gotta do to win. Either way keep at it!

  • Thanks for the reply guys i get it somewhat. My final question for anyone.

I tested something out for the sake of this thread and played 1 killer out of the 10 or 11 i play for 5 games about an hour or two ago. What i presumed is my highest MMR killer, I once again played Chaotic gens Doctor (Hook: Gift of Pain/Overcharage/Eruption/Oppression) and these were the results

    4K

    4k

1K (I knew i shouldnt have given up my 3 gen for that chase lol)

    4K

    4K

So what does that mean? This is not counting all the other 4k's i've been getting with him (Doctor mostly and randomly others if i 4K)

My MMR seems to be high or the highest with Doctor right?

***Someone actually told me that 4king means im playing at low MMR so please dont tell me that again lol

  • What exactly raises your MMR? Does anyone know?

Is there any way to measure it at all?

Why would the devs put something like this in the game?

Why dont they just take it out and go back to match making via ranks?

  • @Murgleïs said:

You can get a lot or 3-4k at high mmr if you are good enough with a good killer (Blight - Nurse).

On my nurse my personnal favorite is : BBQ - Agitation - Starstruck - Noed

This build revolves around snowball, antibodyblock, basement hooks and camping or tunneling if the survivor is toxic.

Sometimes I play BBQ - Agitation - Starstruck - Discord if I am tired of being sent to Lerry and RPD because survivors love to send me there.

You do not have to play with the best two killers to raise your MMR, i dont believe that. Not everyone plays top tier and are really good outside the big two. So your saying in plain language that you can only have high MMR with Blight or Nurse and EVERY other killer cant 3k and 4k at high MMR! This is not the case bc people do well or even very well outside these top 2 killers so i dont know if this makes much sense.

You have Nurse so it doesnt matter how weak your build is perceived so i can still see you doing well with it. Normally though a build like that would get wrecked even in solo que but again you have Nurse so it probrably doesnt really matter

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2716126#Comment_2716126

Yeah, but this does not mean that you have high MMR. More the opposite, that you are better than your current MMR.

As an example, when I started playing Nurse more often (this was after MMR was introduced, since I did not want to go against Rank 1s all the time while learning her), I got a lot of 4Ks. And this mostly against players with under 10 hours.

This does not make my Nurse a high MMR-Killer, but shows that I am better than the game thinks.

And regarding the build - I did not mean it offensive when calling it a Meme-Build. If this build works for you, go for it. It is always refreshing to see more unusual Perks.

Hmmm, if you cant measure your MMR then why even have it? Its the most dumbest thing to me! So i have to "lose" to raise my MMR? lol its so crazy. The dev's should just take MMR out and just pair up people based off they're rank. So by me winning constantly your saying my MMR isnt raising but doesnt any kill over 2 raise it? Im so confused and it honestly is mindboggling i'd prefer that they'd just take it out bc to me it doesnt mean anything based off some of these answers. Can we get a dev in here! lol

How is it unpredictable? A survivor having dead hard is probably the most predictable thing in this entire game

lol Sprint Burst users and Dead Hard users are very predictable. When they stand there and wait for you to come to them really close they will have Sprint Burst (unless they're bad at the game) and personally i never swing until i know for sure that they dont have it, then i down them. The same is done to me minius SB which i dont use at all

Dont really know why you call me that, but ok I guess.

If you have high MMR, you should get somewhat equal opponents. And I thought the game would be so survivor-sided at high MMR? Does not really fit the narrative if someone gets 4Ks or 3Ks on a constant basis.

Let alone with Doctor and a Meme-Build.

And last but not least - it is a fact that nobody knows their MMR.

You may not know exactly what your MMR (number or however it raises) is but you know you have a high MMR with a killer you play when you constantly get 4k's and 3k's as i have said. You cant tell me im wrong about that just because i dont know the hidden data i only know about what i do! With that being said you can say "Oh he has high MMR with a mid tier killer using a meme build" when in fact you never went against a Doctor with the build i have so what does it matter if its a meme build or not, for me its extremely effective. I got 6 4's in a row (with 1 dc) and im at ahigh rank, so the "your not going against top survivors and thats why your winning" goes out the window!

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

    Nobody knows their MMR.

And dominating Survivors and constantly getting 4Ks and 3Ks sounds more like a low MMR-Killer, which should have higher MMR.

lol what? That makes no sense at all

Demo - Corrupt, STBFL, Infectious, bbq

Nurse - BBQ, Dead Lock, Corrupt, No Way Out

Yeah its Blight and that build is why i can understand why you play him at high MMR, that sounds tough non swf. You play Demo AND Nurse at high MMR? I can see Nurse easily but Demigorgogon IS underrated so yeah..good stuff

Overcome is friggin nuts. Outright denying chase viability in most circumstances is big, and I've been timing it - it's a bigger value than DH for me and one other friend in roughly 87% of our chases comparatively. If I get a few more people in on that experiment, I might properly collate and release recording data.

Overcome is only really optimal with Iron Will/Spine Chill/ Lucky Break with a good Medkit with charges (speed Medkit) Good perk though

    Blight

    Huntress

    Doctor

Hag is the prime example that contrary to the popular belief of "you just play X killer because it's easy", players don't just want something that's strong, but it also needs to be fun to use.

Hag is good, although a bit too overrated, but despite her being better than many other killers, she's so unpopular because no one finds her playstyle fun.

Hag is fun to me! I love hooking people then coming back to them after the unhook with MYC and Nurses lol

????? What do you mean by I dont acknowledge whats wrong with the game. I am always talking ######### about whats wrong with certain thing...I just dont make forum threads crying about the #########. I also refuse to exaggerate killer issues. Maps, spawns, and certain tile combos I mention quite a bit. As for boons I dont believe they are as gamebreaking as people want to believe. Just make the healing speed not stack and it will be fine.

So dont tell me im crying then when im not! Where do you see me crying or bitching? Im very straight forward and dont need to do that! How gamebreaking boons are are subjective. I personally have a survivor that has all 3 boons as to ensure my team gets the best support/coverage. 3 Boon perks + Dead Hard. Therfore its a problem because shadowstep makes it where people can safely heal and trumping Nurses!

  • @chargernick85 said:

Lol no vote ups. I give hatch or let one open the gate. A 4K will raise your mmr more than a 3K so it helps you as well. Your intentions are whats wrong with community. The cycle will never end with people like you.

No im far from whats wrong with this community my friend, if i do anything its highlighting the "behaviors" of survivor and call them out for it. I just play but as killer im always getting messeges telling me how to play the game or why people are salty that they died (lost)

The cycle will never end not because of people like me but for people like you who wont address or acknowledge all the stuff wrong with this game including toxicity and toxic behavior from survivors (No im not talking about flashlight clicks or teabagging but a combination of everything). I just play but survivors are extremely entitled and have big egos and yeah they have big ego's in a game thats already big time in they're favor lol, right....

You didn't correct anyone. Honestly, you come off as angry. Do you play survivor at all? All I'm saying is there's no need to be a dick in the game. Give the hatch or don't. At least, try to be civil. Don't join the trolls.

Im fine not angry at all despite how im "coming off" I play survivor and very good with survivor for your information guy! I main killer and i dont talk ######### or messege anyone but survivor mains, entitlist or whatever are always salty about losing to me which i dont get..

Saying survivor isnt very civil right? So your telling me how should feel when survivors are constantly tryna make the killer feel bad and etc and the majority of us just dont care and play despite being at a disadvantage huh? No it dont work that way! Not only will i never give hatch or let them willingly escape but i'll even make survivor suffer and make them bleed out if im slugging to the very last percentage before i pick them up JUST to ensure the 4k and no one escapes!

    Yeah im THAT guy! lol

And you do you, but you generalize a entire player base. It’s such a ######### world view.

I don’t t.bag, I don’t use flashlights, I don’t say any post game chat besides GG. WP killer and GL next all. I just don’t give grief to killers, so please, enlighten me how people who play like me are making the game so horrible for you?

Well obviously it doesnt pertain to you then. Also you are the minority and im talking about the majority.

    OP? lol whatever

I didnt say everyone should suffer but survivors have a bad rep so you cant blame me for feeling and or thinking this way. Hate was never written by me so i dont know what your talking about

As a killer main I can tell you why I don’t. There’s no incentive to give hatch. When they find the hatch first, what do most survivors do? Stand over it and wait until you are in view to teabag or click. When survivors open the gate, what do most of them do? Stand there teabagging hoping you’ll come to see them do it. Survivors are not over here giving out free kills, so why in the world would I give a free escape? Imo “playing nice” as killer doesn’t even make sense in terms of the role lol.

There you go, finally someone who gets it!

  • @Phasmamain said:

This is me as well, though I generally go for 2 hooks each survivor.

It's to the point when I genuinely feel bad if someone gets left to die on hook or if I accidentally hook someone not realizing they already went to their 2nd hook state.

    Booooo, boo!

Sad you feel that way over a video game. I get annoyed sometimes too with the things survivors do. I get annoyed with camping and tunneling killers too. Since I play both sides I get to experience the worst of both sides. Just because one side is teabagging or whatever doesn't mean you have to add to the bs. Be better.

Sad? lol Whatever man dont project the negativities and toxicities of survivor on me! I just play but survivors legit try to make people feel bad, anyway i often get messeged for killing survivors bc they're salty so i dont wanna hear none of what your saying

    @[Deleted User] said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2713408#Comment_2713408

    Exactly.

I started out only playing killer. I usually only get time to play during weekdays and got sick of the wait times so I now play survivor more. I can say I’ve seen the good and bad on both sides. I think the majority who complain about one side being more toxic than the other never play the other side, or very rarely.

NOT exactly! You are you and i am me!

  • No need to add more hate in the game? How is that hating or being hateful? Do you not see the lengths at which survivors try to make killers feel bad? Teabagging at exit gates (I dont give them that satisfaction at all asa i never go to the exit gates once the game is over so they just teabag air and nothingness and look stupid) and disrespect to name a few. Do you not see what survivors do in this game/ lol

Players are burning that new map, the Game and getting maps like Haddonfield randomly then have the nerve to messege you nonsense when they lose! No im sorry your wrong, its not hating, its justification! Im justified for never giving hatch or being nice because of the bad reputation survivor has, dont get me started! lol

B-b-B-bUt ''juSt wAiT iT oUt 5HeAd'' - some survivor main

Dead Hard is the biggest contributor to the frustration of playing killer. You can outplay a survivor, only to see them get a second-chance that they do not deserve. Oh, and every survivor commonly brings this perk and can use it multiple times, a minimum of 3 times before killed from the game, assuming you chase, hook, chase another.

So a minimum of 12 opportunities, assuming the survivors don't finish all the gens, to get a second-chance that requires no legitimate skill or effort, just press a button, and you basically get a third health state.

I wonder why killers have to tunnel and camp, right?

Yeah survivor have Dead Hard but thats why killer has bloodlust

  • Give it a try? lol I play that perk often just like No Way Out. People are definetly using the perk. This perk is best on a chaotic gens Doctor! )

  • in the long run survivor beats killer! I main killer and it will stay that way (i also play survivor and really good with survivor, i just main killer) because i will never main survivor. I dont play swf and if i do its without coms 100% of the time, therefore im dying from playing well because of my team most of the time or i play well or the team is so terrible that i get one hooked at the end. I tried using my Deliverance survivor to counter this issue but alas if your the very last survivor Deliverance deactivates because end game takes priority..

Sadly killer will keep getting nerfed and survivors will continue getting buffed because the devs want it that way. Too bad they cant or rather wont balance it more. Bad maps, swf with coms (although rarer they do pop up) Adrenaline, BT's, Unbreakables, Dead Hard's to get to the safe spot in the loop! lol Its crazy how hard it is for killer!

  • Just to show how serious i am about Sabo lol

Dead by Daylight: Master Saboteur - YouTube

    Out here Sabotaging hooks! )

  • Survivor:

    Dead Hard/ Spine Chill/ Resilience

Killer: Scourge: Hooks of Pain/Overcharge/Oppression (Doctor only)

After I prestiged my Artist I didn't have lots to choose from so I ran Nurses, Sloppy, Coulophobia (sure thats misspelled) and it was pretty decent.

Yeah thats what i was thinking! How often do you run this, im assuming every on once in a while as you dont want to run these 3 perks often lol

    @Munqaxus said:

    • Lithe, Dance with Me and Urban Evasion - Get out of the Killers line of sight then Urban Evade around a rock.
    • Lucky Break, Overcome, Iron Will - Get hit, run out of LOS, get in a locker. Usually need Q&Q also but can be done with just IW.
    • Aftercare, Overcome, Boil Over - Hold "W" to the furthest corner away from all the other survivors and waste killers time hooking you. If everyone played these 3 perks together and used the Hold "W" meta, Killers would never stand a chance. It wastes so much time for killers it's ridiculous.
    • Desperate Measures, Botany Knowledge, Empathy - This is another amazingly strong combo. It's basically a Circle of Healing but it comes to you. I usually run a medkit with this to make healing even quicker. I've won a lot of games using this because the Killer is always against a 2 heal state survivor and it takes no time to heal other survivors. Especially devastating to Legion. Utterly fails against Plague. (I think this combo is strong than CoH, in healing efficiency).

What does Overcome do again? In any case i would run Dead Hard or Lithe instead of Overcome but that's me. Imo i dont think Boil Over is good enough to be semi consistent without a Sabo build. . Breakdown/Flip Flop/Boilover is actually legit though if you know what your doing. Also you need a good medkit (with fast heals) with Lucky Break.

    For Survivor; Aftercare.

I used to run Bond but the information is not at its full potential.

With Aftercare we can see each other at all times, they can see if I'm going for the save, working on a gen etc. It's really helpful when one of us need a heal and we have to group up.

Auras on both sides is a really good way to "communicate".

I don't play Killer much and I'm still having the weak perks on them.

    Yeah same, Aftercare
