  • Yeah its one of my main builds i love it!

    Doctor

    Call of Brine/Overcharge/Eruption/ Oppression

    or

    Undying/Ruin/Call of Brine/Overcharge

I wouldnt be surprised if Call of Brine got nerfed.

  • I love Call of Brine and im using it in the current meta

    Doctor: Undying/Ruin/Call of Brine/Overcharge

  • Wow! Everyone except one person had something positive to say..Way to go dbd community, you all are aweseome....

  • @GeneralV said:

    Pretty sure they do.

Well, the actual word "stacks" was removed from perk descriptions some time ago so ot would be great to have a confirmation.

I sometimes run Left Behind, Bond, Opem Handed and Ace in the Hole and start the trial with no items.

This build helps you survive via the big info the extended range Bond gives you, and Ace in the hole gives you a pretty good chance to find a key that can open hatches during the trial.

With the massive range of Open Handed Left Behind you can pretty much bee-line for the hatch most of the time and get at least a decent chance to find a key, if the killer got there first.

Yeah i like this strategy, nice build! Two survivors left my Detective Tapp end game after i took end chase so i now use

    Lithe/Deliverance/DS/Left Behind

Off the Record seems pretty solid with Left Behind builds but i prefer to pair that with Lucky Break.

  • @Remedicist said:

I sometimes run a Yun-Jin build that I consider to be close to lore accurate as she is a person that looks out for herself for the most part:

    - Left Behind

    - Sole Survivor

    - Self-Preservation

    - Wake-Up/Fast Track

    - Hatch Key

    Empowered from others' failures

    Interesting!

I somehow doubt your definition of toxic amounts to much more than frustrating since according to you DH is the most toxic thing in game <3

No he's 100% right! He's talking about a mentality and behavior and in those regards yes the DBD community "is" the most toxic community!

    Easily!

  • No keep dead hard but reduce the distance it gives you slightly. You cant disable a perk and have top 3 (Nurse, Blight, Spirit) running amuck!

People barely survive these killers "with" dead hard (mainly Nurse) so removing perks is not a solution.

  • My suggestion is a buff not nerf, really stop to think about this. Look at what it does again and then look at my change again then tell me thats a nerf! Pay close attention.

  • I hear they're changing a bunch of perks, is this true? If so "finally"

I've made numerous suggestion threads regarding this very thing. We're tired of seeing BBQ, Scourge Hooks, Pop, Undying/Ruin, Corrupt on killers "all" the time and Dead Hard, DS, Unbreakable, BT, Iron Will, Spine Chill, Resilience on survivors "all" the time.

People taht play this game need incentives to play other perks as currently there are none because all other perks are weaker or straight out bad.

  • @Chocolate_Cosmos said:

It's not like he was allready overnerfed.

    Tell me about it.

    @brokedownpalace said:

How close can he get? Like could you feasibly open the exit gate without triggering the trap? If so that's BS

You basically have to set all 4 or 5 of your snares around the pannel switch for them not to go around it but the problem with that is it takes too much time, they'll prob be on the other exit gate already while your takin time to do that which makes it a waste..it sucks

    @IlliterateGenocide said:

While hag and trapper can place a trap underneath smh.

Just reverse Freddie's base kit nerfs. And change back some of his add-ons. The only problem was forever slowdown

I will never understand BHVR's ways of thinking. It actually boggles the mind a little lol

    @ReverseVelocity said:

I'd imagine this is a bug, I'd report it over in the appropriate section.

Hmmmm, i'll do that actually thanks, hopefully its a bug because that stuff is way uncalled for.

  • No its not its just that people are oblivious on how to do proper balance. This is a universal problem even in fighting games. Some of it actually has to do with politics which is dumb but it is what it is. Theres a difference bewtween "ability" to do something vs "not wanting" to do it. The latter is BHVR and most development companies whether they are assymetrical, fighting or otherwise.

Why are weak killers or characters in general in games to begin with? Its because they were never meant to be in higher tiers because they're developers dont want them to be in higher tiers thus dont give these weaker characters etc what they need to compete at a higher level with the rest of the top characters etc. Im telling you this is on purpose.

Its not that complex or complicated its really not. Tell me how hard it is to increase the duration of Clowns stun effect, give him a extra bottle to start off or to make some of the more op killers just a little weaker. Its not.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/320597/what-would-you-do-if-you-were-like-elon-musk-or-vince-machmon-had-theyre-and-focused-on-bhvr

Fire half of them for lack of understanding of the game and its balance.

Reboot the whole game for better optimisation, start from scratch to make it run better for all players allowing better graphics, FPS and horror settings like weather (thunder storm etc.)

Overhaul all perks so all are useful and not have a stale meta.

Create a better SBMM, one based of skill. Likely massively discourage camping/tunneling but balance so killers dont need to.

Add in loads of setting for controller, keys, crossplay etc.

Make the game free for everyone as it's a reboot, have a wide range of committed players to test and leave feedback. Spend loads on anti cheat

Honestly with that kind of money you can do anything.

Thank you, finally someone with a proper response lol! I hold heartedly agree with these suggestions. The emblem system is heavily flawed and needs to be looked at. Funny enough BHVR acknowledge and even mention this but that was some time ago and nothing has been done.

I dont agree with making it free, my company needs to make money lol! However since the game will be much better balance wise and the overall experience since all the weak perks are getting overhauled people it will give the game a fesh new way to play. you cant "stop" people from playing the way they wanna play but we can certainly encourage more diverse gameplay through the overhauling and revamping of perks, thats a very good direction and start. Killers will be more inclined to go for hooks rather than camping, proxy camping and tunneling because they're in disadvantage situations 80% of the time due to bad maps (for killer) and strong perks like Dead Hard and DS on the survivor side.

Also i know you really can do alot. It wouldnt even have to be DBD II but the same DBD but much much better, fun and more balanced for everyone, thats my (our since we are of the same mindset?) goal!

well that's my whole point tho being horrible

cuz this is the current game's situation

then i'll fix the game back but first i wanna give killer mains some fun time to enjoy their revenge

Yeah buts not how you go about things lol. Oh well to each his own.

  • @Hanzo_Hasashi7 said:

first thing i would make trickster the most op character in game

    2-would remove DS-Dead hard-unbreakable-borrowed time-nerfing survivor's speed-buffing killers speed-2 killers in one game

3-building maps on the favor of killers-increasing number of gens-nerfing gen speed-1 hook kill-mori anytime you want

you might wonder why do i need to be elon must

cuz i could keep my game going without thinking about who plays and who doesn't and mostly i just wanna give a little taste of how the game feels like for a killer main

after all survs gotta learn the pain i'm going through too

This honestly doesnt solve anything nor does it address any core issues. If games were created with the right balance then everyones happy bc everyone could express themselves in one way or another without limitations. Your ideas would honestly kill off BHVR as these suggestions are horrible for balance and experience. Sorry but they just are, your not being reasonable at all and instaed acting off of emotion! This is a big no no in buisness.

Lol once again that has nothing to do with the thread. Im not talking about if you people were milliuonaires or billionairs and what would you do with your money and what good you would do with it for the world im talking about BHVR specifically. If you had they're money and was interested in changinh BHVR for the better ie a very balanced game and an experience all can enjoy then what would you do. Obviously there are more important things to do with the $ but since you play DBD im asking for what if's if you had an interest in it since you "are" apart of the dbd community.

  • Oh yeah i would have to move to Canada first and foremost lol

No, I would not buy Behaviour. Wouldn’t be worth the money. My comment does have to do with the topic because I’m discussing what I would do if I was rich like those you mention and pointing out that Behaviour and this game aren’t worth the time when there are more important things to do.

Thats fine im not saying anything about what "good" you would do with the $ but this thread is about what people would do if they "focused" ie they had interest in buying BHVR and taking the game in a whole new direction for the better, thats what its about.

None of that is true though. As someone who is a good nurse. I can tell you. Most people are so predictable it hurts.

They double back around corners. Without looking at where I'm about to blink to. They don't bother breaking LOS and force me in to guessing games. They just like to play hold W simulator and hope for the best.

Yeah bad survivors do that but not good ones, i've seen some of the best survivors do what you say and still go down in seconds against strong Nurses so your statement is not valid.

  • @Huge_Bush said:

If I was rich like them I’d completely forget about Behaviour and do good things for those that are less fortunate than I am. It’s not like I would be able to take the money with me into my grave.

Id also help animals in need and I’d probably move to someplace less humid.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the topic nor is it connected in anyway. Ok so you would buy BHVR to kill it off, thankyou!

I didn't say they were a good one. They asked for the recent experiences. That was the recent experience.

You can juke good/great nurses for long enough to be acceptable. Force them in to 50/50s as much as possible. Read their body language and don't be as predictable as most people are

    Ummm...ok whatever you say )

    @MaTtRoSiTy said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2922428#Comment_2922428

Lol... I have over 2.5k hours in the game and have played against many great Nurses, including back when 5 blinks and no recharge was a thing. In fact I started to learn her myself before she got nerfed and with learning her myself I learned what plays counter Nurse and her weaknesses.

Trouble with many survivors is they make statements like 'game breaking' then try to loop a Nurse or their counter-plays consist of doubling back on every corner and DH. Then they no doubt head to forums to complain instead of actually learning how to counter her.

The vast majority of Nurse players are average to outright terrible with her. God tier Nurses can be rough but I very rarely face them and when I do I respect their skill, as getting really good with Nurse takes a lot of misery and bullying from survivors

The only "counterplay" to Nurse is Iron Will/Lucky Break and respecting BBQ by going in lockers. Your not juking a strong Nurse player at all, doubling back or anything your just downed once she see's you.

  • @MaTtRoSiTy said:

I have actually played a few games this week after not really playing for months. Faced quite a few Nurses and enjoyed every match but it seemed many of my team mates were absolutely useless against Nurse and they went down really fast, even though probably only one of the Nurses was actually semi decent with her.

I assume those same survivors come to forums to complain about Nurse too lol

People complain about Nurse bc shes game braeking it has nothing to do with how good or bad they are at survivor. It gets progressively worse the better the Nurse player is so im assuming you havent went against really strong Nurse players bc i feel like you wouldnt be saying these things at all.

  • @Zozzy said:

The more you nerf the weaker killers, the more people will take up Nurse.

    Exactly!

    @Phasmamain said:

Last game I had against a nurse was basically the worst nurse match you can have. Very good nurse running a starstruck agitation build on blood lodge. We all died at 4 gens when she slugged us all

    @BrokenSouI said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/320437/tell-me-your-recent-experiences-vs-nurse

She's my favorite killer to go against. It's not nearly as impossible to juke her as people claim.

One of the more recent experiences. Is my 3 man SWF had out random DC literally at the start of the match 20 seconds in. We still 3 man outted

Then you didnt go against good sweaty Nurses! You absolutely wont juke a godlike Nurse this is facts! A godlike or even really good Nurse will down or kill you once she see's you, period!

I don't know how to use proper mentions so just know I'm replying to what you replied to me before.

I think you misunderstood how Territorial Imperative functions. As long as you are a certain distance AWAY from the basement, the aura of a survivor that enters it is shown to you for a few seconds. And the perk also has a cooldown. In your perk buff idea you actually increased both the distance you have to be from the basement for the perk to take effect and the cooldown for how often the perk can function.

A buff would be to decrease the distance you need to be away from basement and decrease the cooldown (which I think shouldn't even be there tbh).

I understood perfectly fine which is why my suggestion is a good buff for it. I prefer my buff suggestion over your perk buff suggestion bc i think its a more balanced version of a buffed perk in terms of what i suggested. We're both buffing the perk but in different ways/

    @[Deleted User] said:

I'd be here all day buffing perks if I went through them all and itd be a waste of time because the devs wont listen to one person especially when the community have been begging for loads of perks to get buffs for years

Hmmm. That really sucks because it would give more life to the game.

  • @Cybil said:

She almost always wins and she's gone right back to being the most recurring killer. It's annoying and I don't care to see her this often. Luckily I have been learning counterplay, not that it means anything in solo queue.

Corrective Action seriously needs to apply for ANY skill check action you are involved with in some way.

I was in for a letdown when I had a Meg blow a healing skillcheck on me and the Freddy just waltzed over and killed me. Did she legitimately mess up, or was I just a walking alarm clock?

With one simple change, Corrective Action can more properly serve its niche as the "I swear to God if you blow that check ONE more time..." perk.

Interestting. I'll have to look at that perk again i dont really know what it does. You can blame "meta" stuff for that lol

    Removed cooldown from:

    Blood Echo

    Eruption

    Jolt

    Thrilling Tremors

    Trail of Torment

Ok this is what i think of what you put up.

    Lightweight: I like that idea

Iron Will: I disagree with this. Overcoming screaming should absolutely not be an option for this perk, thats why theres Calm Spirit!

Calm Spirit: The problem with that is the unnecessary nullifying of terror radius perks so Dark Devotion and Distressing would be trumped by this perk so i think its a bad idea.

Hope: Buff the amount of time after the last generator is completed but i dont agree that you should get haste effect after gens, thats a little too much imo.

No One Left Behind: I like that idea, what is the current one?

    Lithe: Should not be buffed

Alert: This buff suggestion is too op

Diversion: I personally think Diversion is fine the way it is but i also wouldnt mind this, i think its fair

Inner Strength: Stacking then consuming them in one go like a insta heal but for doing totems? lol I dont think this is a good idea at all sorry.

Poised: That suggestion is too broken for survivor

    Killer Perks

Insideous: Umm thats way too op

    Predator: Reasonable i like it

Third Seal: Third Seal is fine the way it is, the Oblivious status effect is too extra and broken. Also Third Seal doesnt work for just basic attacks now

Overcharge: Ummm maybe...and thats a far stretch maybe, Overcharge is actually good as it is

Huntress Lullaby: Ilike this idea, Huntress Lulluby is really bad

Territorial Imperitive: That is a horrible suggestion for this perk you mention, thats way too broken man lol

Remember Me: Ok honestly im biased when it comes to this perk so i agree with your Remember Me buff! )

Undying: Should be left as it is, its fine

Haunted Grounds: haunted Grounds doesnt need to be buffed its fine th eway it is. If players want optimal thenm they'll combine Haunted Grounds with Hex: Retribution. Retribution got a nice buff.

    Cou De Grace: No comment

Forced Penace: Ah you really want these survivors Oblivious out here huh!? lol I think thats a bit much, Broken status effect is fine but i'd buff it to 80 seconds for lv 3.

All else: I think its reasonable to remove the cooldown on "some" of those perks but far from all.

  • @Kaana said:

I want a couple of perks changed but I don't know how I'd buff or rework them.

    1. Sole Survivor. I just don't see this perk ever. I'm not sure if it's bad or it's just cause survivors would rather use something else.
    2. Visionary. This is just Bond but for generators. This would I guess be a good perk for new players but I'm pretty sure most people will just use Déjà Vu instead since its free and shows up on all survivor bloodwebs.
    3. Up the Ante. What does luck even do besides slightly raise the chance to 4%? I'd rather use Slippery Meat then this perk no offense.
    4. Left Behind. I see this perk but most of the times I don't see them make it to the hatch in time since it only spawns once everyones dead now and most of the times the Killer can make it their first. Maybe if it removes the aura showing and made it so you can open the hatch like an inbuilt key but it takes like an insane amount of time to open it, like 7 seconds or so?
    1. Most likely both
    2. True
    3. Luck effects 4% increasing it but it also effects items in chest and increases item rarity's
    4. Yeah thats the thing about Left Behind you need a key to really utilize this perk otherwise the killer can find hatch before you like as if you never had it. Left Behind with a key or Left Behind/Plunderers/Aace in The Hole/Dead Hard or Iron Will migt be the way to go if people were to use this perk even semi seriously.

I never said anything about removing aura reading. What I meant was it doing both of those things.

Oh if thats the case then thats too powerful! lol You would have to cut it down to 3 or 2 sec if thats the case. Im suggesting balance not straight out overpoweredness ) Besides jokes aside they would just leave the basement as soon as the Oblivious icon would appear. Tell me more details.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/320088/devs-why-does-myers-start-at-105-speed-with-no-lunge

He starts in Tier 1 slow speed with no lunge because he has no terror radius. In this part of the game you should be racking up Save The Best For Last stacks. Once you hit 8 you move to tier 2 where you gain the speed and increased lunge. Once you have people on death hooks you move to tier 3 for the coup de grace.

STBFL on a competitive build for Myers? I dont know about that one. Competitive builds for Myers are like Bamboozle, BBQ, Scourge Hooks, Pop, Corrupt but STBFL? Hmmm i wonder though.

  • @Chordyceps said:

I think a cool buff to Territorial Imperative would be to make survivors in the basement oblivious. It would be kinda a niche perk still, but I feel like it would give it more use than it currently has. Sometimes knowing when it's safe to emerge from the basement can be important, and this would make that much more difficult to do.

Oblivious with no aura reading? I see where your going with it but honestly without aura reading there is no way for you to know they're down there.

  • I main killer and this is easy for me..

Badham Preschool: (All 3 of them)

    Yokohoma Estate

Fractured Cowshed (All 5 of them)

Haddonfield (Old version, havent seen new yet)

    Red Forest (Mothers Dwelling)

    Mount Ormond Resort

    RPD Station

    The Game

    Temple of Purgation

I hate all of these maps but the most imbalanced for me personally would be between Red Forest and The Game. Those maps are absolutely atrocious for killer.

I think the devs have mentioned that Myers is on the table to be looked at. He's considered among many players (their own fog whisperers included) to be weak with an outdated mechanic. Personally I'm fine with the starting speed, but having him run out of stalk should never happen. Once survivors are in the red, it should be reduced by half, maybe more, but taking away the stalk entirely takes away his power which doesn't make any sense.

    Too much stalking! lol

Using Deliverance after all your teammates left The Trial is useless as the Killer will just camp you, I'd be a waste of time

You nerfed the distance. Now you have to be farther away for TI to activate

Left? You should read it carefully and properly because you are not understanding. If you are the last survivor in the trial whether your team failed you and your the last one left after haven played so well "or" if the there are two survivors and left you included and that survivor gets hooked before you and the skull icon appears if the killer then hooks you ie your the very last survivor in the trial then you lose your Deliverance and thats whack! The killer "still" wouldnt be able to camp you because of DS, Soul Guard/Unbreakable. Therefore although situational you still have a opportunity to escape. My suggestion is better than no suggestion or leaving the perk as it is.

    Where monstrous shrine buffed?

I think Monsterous Shrine is fine the way it is. Reason is that if you buff a perk like that it can honestly become overpowered and unbalanced. What do you suggest though?

  • @ThatOneDemoPlayer said:

Deliverance doesn't need a buff and why did you nerf Territorial Imperative?

Well to me it does because there were numerous times where i would play well, have Deliverance but my teammates are trash and terrible and im the one at the end most of the time "with" Deliverance only to die because of end game. My suggestion would fix players wanting to run Deliverance but also dont want to rely on teammates for different reasons. I didnt suggest a nerf but thats indeed a buff! Why do you see it as a nerf? I buffed the range by 8 meters but for balance i increased the cool down, whats wrong with that?

    @EntitySpawn said:

You're missing about 80% of the perks from your list

Well i actually went through all the perks and these are the ones i felt needs the most attention. If ypou feel like a perk should be here then why dont you just suggest something.

    @MrsJukes said:

You suggest a nerf to Territorial Imperative...?

Thats not a nerf its a buff. A little extra cooldown on a perk thats rarely if ever used wont make that much of a difference. My suggestion is a buff not a nerf.

And why would I or anyone else care if you run Noed one or ten out of ten times? Please… it’s a valid perk, you are allowed to use it. If you actually think it will make the experience of survivors generally much worse then all you would accomplish is the devs may start to look at Noed. So. Please. Use it more often. You are right. You don’t need to justify what you are using. But then why are you starting this thread?

you are making a ‚drama‘ out of nothing as nothing has been confirmed about BT becoming base. And I am the one without comprehension skills?

and you are the one crying about stuff right now. Not ‚survivors‘, you.

Because im my own person and thats what i do what are you even saying or getting at? There is no drama buddy its a normal threda/rant you cant tell me that people dont make rant posts so please fall back you dont know what your saying! Yeah your oblivious to what i said because i had to repeat it twice. "I" play/use noed 1 out of 10 games i didnt mention at all the success or lack of i have with it so once again you are trying to 1up me but its not gonna work.. Moving along **waves hands*

If you're competitive and like to win, why don't you join a comp team and participate in tournaments? Or are you part of one already?

For one i dont know where to look for dbd tournaments. Two i dont like swf on coms so i would never join a tournament where i was required to join swf! I main killer anyway so i would only want to play killer. Besides most tournaments are elitist and or they are exclusive so i wouldnt be able to join anyway

  • @Brokenbones said:

The likely scenario is BT won't get any stronger than it's current version, any basekit version will likely just be a weaker version which is applied universally upon being unhooked to both prevent farming and provide a bit of counterplay to killers who proxy camp their hooks

While I'm still not 100% sold on a basekit BT as I think survivors should get better game sense and learn how to unhook safely, I cannot deny that these days getting those safe unhooks is extremely hard given the amount of camping that occurs. Without BT it either becomes a trade (because you go down protecting them) or they are essentially insta-downed off the hook

Exactly so use your perk slots for BT and DS then you have 2 more perk slots left if your so concern about getting tunneled out the game, problem solved!

So you think BT as a base is good for the game and healthy? Plaese explain yourself

BT would be good for the health of the game because, face-camping and tunneling-off-hook-till-dead, are only countered if a player happens to bring in Decisive Strike and a team mate happens to bring in Borrowed Time. Both of those counters are behind paywalls, either cash or bloodpoints, so new players don't even have access to counter these strategies that every single killer has from level 1 up.

This is the exact problem, BT into body blocks and thats "not" counting that they may have DS! I think it will be a big mistake! The game is alreday difficult enough for killer with BT's, Unbreakables, DS, DS into body blocks, very bad maps and weaker or weak killers having to deal with all of this. Its crazy how people think (not you)

  • @Mooks said:

    Oh No!

this random person will tunnel and camp and use Noed even more than they already do. Whatever we will gonna do?? (Even though they admitted to do it already.. )

all these are already valid strategy’s btw. So… Nobody is stopping you from doing it now or if Bt ever becomes basekit.

Yeah so "random person" if you knew how to read and had comprehension skills you would know that i rarely use noed and barely 1 out of 10 games so this just goes to show how ignorant you are. I play the way i play period and i win most of the time but anyway i dont need to justify what i do or how i do it. I come from the fighting game community where we dont care about sh** like that (how a person plays tunneling camping etc) we just get the job done and focus on winning, nothing else matters! Its only in the dbd community that a bunch of kids compalin and whine (mostly survivors) about the way people go about they're objectives. Im just stating what it is! BT base is a horrible idea and it should get scrapped immeditely!!

  • @selflessnea said:

I mean you could just not tunnel 🤷

Why would i "not" tunnel in these situations. A fyi i like to win and im competitive so there you go!

  • @sumps1 said:

I don’t get the uproar about BT. It’s 12 seconds long. If you’re not camping hook and tunnelling that survivor it literally has no effect on gameplay… if it’s base kit you know everyone unhooked will have it so if you feel you must tunnel, just follow them for 12 seconds before you hit them. Or can’t you count?

Your joking right!? BT into body block is unstoppable unless you have noed! You "have" to be joking..

    @Aven_Fallen said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2865390#Comment_2865390

It was not that long ago, but the Devs should have never said it, because it was clear that such a reaction would follow.

But the general ideal of making BT Basekit is not bad. Because it is a band-aid fix against camping anyway and people (Killers as well) were tired of Perks being band-aids for game mechanics. Also, in general, for the hooked Survivor it is a pretty bad deal because you have to hope that the guy who unhooks you has this Perk, which is completely out of your control (unless you are playing SWF and know that your mates have it).

But we dont know what exactly will become Basekit, because I doubt that they will give it to everyone for free. They might work with removing Collision from Endurance so that Bodyblocking is not possible anymore or maybe reducing the duration of the Endurance Status effect (which would be bad IMO).

So pointless to actually rant about it without knowing anything.

Its not pointless because i spend money on this game so i have validity to speak on things.

    @Dwight_Fairfield said:

If you're so worried about BT being base kit then it suggests you camp and tunnel a lot anyway.

Haha nice try! That works on others but it wont work on me, stay ignorant

  • Dead Hard should only receive a slight nerf. Instead of the distance it goes now the distance should be just a little shorter not by much. People have to remember that killers have Blood Lust so this is a fair and reasonable nerf. The invincibility frames should stay though.

  • Im happy that Tofu got his 5 stacks on his 5th or 6th attempt?

    Good stuff to him!

  • Ok i just played two games back to back with Hex: Pentimento and these are the results!

    Game 1:

Killer: Nemesis with Depleted Ink Ribbon & Admin Wristband aka Zombie add-ons

Build: Hex Pentimento/ Ruin/ Plaything/ Thrill of the Hunt

    Map: Backwater Swamp

First game was a complete shut out by survivors! I knew i wasn't going to be able to get to 5 stacks so i stacked 2. All in all i lost that game and all 4 escaped

    Game 2

    Killer: Pig

Build: Hex Pentimento/Plaything/Third Seal/Thrill of The Hunt

Map: Eerie of Crows: Foresaken barnyard

When i saw the map i had a feeling that even though its generally a bad map for killer it could give me an advantage. I absolutely destroyed survivor this game! I got 5 stacks of Hex: Pentimento and i made sure to secure the 3 gen side of the map. They were basically running around blind for a bit until they destroyed Third Seal then since they were Obivious i could walk at 4.6 with Pig and potentially get free or easier hits.

Two gens left and once i rekindled the 5th totem in a way that they wouldn't have time to find and destroy my totems in time it was gg! The slugged survivors couldn't get picked up in time because of the 3rd stacks effect and if two "were" to actually manage to get the last two gens done only one would be able to escape and i could even have potentially gotten both because the exit gates are taking long to open!

5 stacks of Hex: Pentimento is so satisfying and almost as satisfying as a good Blood Warden play or i have to say maybe even more so because of they're (survivors) struggle! )

  • I have a anti-tunnel build revolved around Boil Over what do you guys think?

Boil Over/ Breakdown/ Soul Guard/ Unbreakable with Alex's toolbox and the add-on that doesnt notify the killer when Sabotaging with a toolbox and the brown or yellow extra charges add-on

If the killer wants to get me out the game fast bc no one rescued me with BT and he or she thinks or assumes that i dont have DS (which i dont lol) or doesnt care about DS (big mistake sometimes bc you can lose whole games bc of this) or is willing to eat a DS then they'll get so frustrated and just leave me! lol Thats the idea

  • Now that thats out the way I will be sure to post my Hex: Pentimento results today. Every game i play with it i'll report it here

Ok now I know your exaggerating......saying you won a game as twins....I have yet to face a actually good twins player, and let alone saying you got a full 5 stacks that many times. Those survivors had to either be letting you get those stacks or were total potatoe baby survivors that don't know a thing

Lolk what!? I have a serious question..Why do people in the DBD community have this wild mentality and lower ways of thinking? Wwhat am i exaggerating? If you actually paid attention to what i was saying you'd notice i said that even though i got 5 stacks with Twins i ended up losing that game and it was because of a mistake i made in the match. In case you DIDNT know survivors can kinda make multiple mistakes and it wont effect them as much in the match or hurt them but if killer makes a mistake (like whiffing) then that can turn into a longer chase, losing momentum etc.

I never said i got 5 stacks with Twins multiple times, read!!!! I said that i got 5 stacks amongst some of my killers and in particular Pig twice, Trapper twice, Myers and Twins! What i "said" was that out of those games i got 5 stacks with i lost with Twins.

Now "for your information" Twins are one of my mains and i'll definitely do and will body teams with them. I dont play all hexes on Twins although i have. My build on Twins varies depending on how im feeling queing into a lobby with them.

The problem with the dbd community and people like you is that if something is different or someone says something different than the norm its either you werent going against good survivors (or killer) or they "let" you do something. Its like hello im the one playing the game, i have ability, i have foretell and i have skill, im just really good (or godlike) at DBD! Its like you guys look and think one way and with that mentality why say anything, why try to post or explain anything if all people are gonna do is put you in catch 22's!

We already know the game is in survivor favor but that doesnt mean that there arent really good and great killer players that can wreck good survivor players at times! Read! I said at times not all the time. I can bring up the same argument that

"OH IM LOSING TO SURVIVOR BC ITS A BAD MAP AND OR I HAVE A WEAKER KILLER!

I CAN think that but then go "I know what it is" and move on!

Very weak minded linear thinking people in the dbd community but i know far from all people are this way. Thankfully!!!

You dont know ANYTHING about me as a player but judging and critiquing (i dont mind that so much) me in a thread about a perk that takes actual skill and a little luck to use ie non meta perks. Some people in this community i swear...

  • Im gonna play more Hex Pentimento builds today on different killers so i'll update my results. So far i have gotten 5 stacks with Twins, Pig (x2) Trapper (x2) and Myers. After getting 5 stacks i only lost one of those games again bc i messed something up but thats whatever, im human! )

  • @OpenX said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2820464#Comment_2820464

Then they can run around oblivious all game. That's fine for me too. I am usually running it on a strong killer like Bubba and if they wanna play against 0 terror radius Bubba all game I am totally OK with that. Literally instant death if they take 1 wrong step.

I see the build as 10 disposable totems, because all totems are disposable. I don't ever see why I would try to get to 5 stacks when I can have 1 stack spread throughout the entire game that instantly helps me. Even better if I murder the person who's plaything it used to be, so it has to be found twice.

Well thats the problem because your definetly not gonna have 1 stack spread out the entire game. You'll be lucky if your 1 stack of hex pentimento stays up longer than a minute and a half!

I really dont have a main build on any killer, I love to switch around and try out new cool and fun stuff and tbh if you open yourself up like that and try out new builds you can find also just as strong builds as current meta builds. You dont need 4 anti gen perks to succeed, that is sadly a exaggeration that ppl have stuck in their heads since years for some reason.

Lol why do you assume that i play with "one" build with a killer ALL the time? Dont make assumptions! I very much try a variety of builds on different killers so this statement doesnt apply to me. I agree with you partially because for the most part to win consistently you do need some type of gen defense. Anyway its more about passive slowdown in the current meta then straight gen defense.

    @danielmaster87 said:

Survivors allow you to "get away with" using this perk, I'd say.

No one "allows" me to do anything! I play well period! Downplay yourself dont downplay me. Killers "allow" survivors to get unhooks with borrowed time and let them get away with healing with We'll Make Ior with having coh up lol. You see how dumb that sounds!?

    @Katzengott said:

Pentimento is very underrated in my exp. All you need is to KEEP at least one, the first stack (- 30% gen speed).

Need to be paired with other HEX perks ofc. Once they started cleansing, it's pretty much gg.

Try Pentimento, Ruin, Plaything, Undying (or Thana, Haunted Grounds) and see it's potential. Worst case: They're only booning and never cleanse.

Keep is the key word and this is not reality! Your 1 stack WILL get destroyed in a short amount of time although i do admit you can have a little value from it. Once they start cleansing it NOT ggs! Lol your telling a person who has played Hex Pentimento builds for over a month and who plays all hex builds quite often to try a build? lol I've tried most all hex builds and of course Pentimento so this doesnt apply to me. For one i would never use Haunted Grounds without Retribution because i can end up getting no value out of Haunted Grounds alone if the survivor is just smart and hides until they're exposed is over. Undying is not good with Pentimento at all and Blood Favor, Crowd Control, Third Seal , Devour Hope and Thrill of The Hunt are all much better choices for that last slot.

1 … 3 4 5 6 7 … 12
