Mori's aren't much of a crutch tho. All they do is save on you having to carry them to hook (which doesn't even save time most of the time since Mori's are pretty long). They can deny DS, Boil Over/Flip Flop value but other than that the utility they have is pretty minimal. Mainly for funzies as far as I can tell. You got the kill all the same. Most of the time it doesn't make getting the kill any "easier".

It is because lets say im running a Sabo build (which i do) that is adamant about saving people from getting hooked. If the exit gated are powered and or opened and the killer "tries" to hook the survivor they cant because im on it as a master Sabo user but because they have a mori (offering) i cant save that person and they are just dead.

Same thing goes for flashlight masters. They cant get the save or rather get the opportunity to go fot the save bc of the mori. Do you see why this is a problem and why i say its a lack of skill and or ability?

Last gen about to get popped and i have DS/Unbreakable? Doesnt matter because the killer just waited for the unhook and waited out the base bt and downed the survivor and then they deserved that kill they will get with the burned offering (mori)? I dont think so. This is my stance on moris and i doubt you or anyone can change it because i have been able to counter every argument justifying its usage.

Survivors will complain no matter how you play. So i play however i like and see fit. Chill players get a chill game. SWF with medkits running godloops do not get a fun game.

Fun "or"interesting! Why do people only acknowledge the fun part but not the part where i say things can he more interesting on both sides?

My fun is not your fun and i tell fighting game players this all the time! Fg players will go "oh this is fun or that my is fun or your playing lame and boring and im not having fun and i go, that's not my problem! Same thing here except i stare fun "or" interesting, get it?

Also there's nothing wrong with challenging yourself in different ways. I for one cant play "one" single build or killer or survivor "all" the time like some people do because for "me" that's extremely boring and the same goes for farming!

I don’t give a ######### about making the game fun or interesting for survivors. They never care if the game is fun for me.

I'm not worried about not feeling like I earned it. I just don't use them because when I don't get any Mori's after trying for some by 2 hookin' it bums me out and makes me feel like I wasted the offering.

Using Devour Hope would be even worse because going for it would be harder (as you said, "earning" it) and then instead of feeling like I wasted an offering and wasted time playing around an offering it's just the same but for wasted perk value.

I hoard Mori's to never even try and use them basically. The few times I do bring them into a match it's usually the lower rarity ones and it's when I'm kinda memeing and my objective isn't "go for the 4k" it's "get dat mori baybee".

Yeah i get you! Well your experience with dbd is just that, your experience! I personally give no props to mori users (not you bc you say you rarely use them) and nor do i respect them if they constantly bring them in matches because this "to me" signifies lack of ability ie they are not that good at the game and need a crutch.

As far as Devour Hope goes i have success with it 80% of the time and usually get 5 stacks. Well that's because i use Undying/Devour Hope and if i want to gamble to keep it up longer then i run Undying/Devour Hope/Haunted Grounds/Retribution or Undying/Pentimento/Devour Hope/Plaything.

I hear Rancor is getting nerfed and goodness knows why!

  • @RonMan32 said:

Just a small note. I don't consider myself a main of either side but I end up playing more survivor. Mori's are never "unfun". I actually like seeing ones I haven't seen before. The only reason I don't bring Mori's into a match is it sets me up for disappointment if I get a sweaty swf or something. I'd prefer to not play for 2 hooking people to try and Mori.

Just use Devour Hope then and earn it. Even the way moris are in they're current state its still not earning the mori kill.

Imo burning mori offerings are a compensation for lack of ability.

I try to play the killer well, not play the build well. There's a big difference between a clearly skilled killer vs a player who is completely carried by their build and add ons. As a survivor, I'm ok with straight up getting outplayed. I'm not ok with losing a 15-20 minute game because someone sucks at chases but has the unga bunga gen kick build with ultra rare add ons. The former is extremely rare and the latter is depressingly common.

So when I play killer, I'm not loading up on the BS I could take. I'm not playing double range Nurse with 4 slowdowns or MDR/Cherry Blossom Spirit. I'm not running a full on auto-pilot build like CoB/Overcharge/Eruption/Pain Res.

Whats wrong with Scourge Hooks/COB/Overcharge/Eruption builds though? I use this build and builds like it pretty often and im a very strong killer player and godlike in dbd overall so i dont see whats wrong but at the same time i get you because you think that build and builds like it are too sweaty and you "interesting" and "fun" for others is you being chill! Totally get that! I am the opposite. I make dbd fun, interesting and or challenging for others and for myself but make no mistake about it, i dont do that every game but one out of 3 games bc im competitive and i want to win so to each his own!

    @BlightedDolphin said:

Other than not tunnelling or camping, there isn't anyway to make the game fun for everyone. No matter what you do someone will always be complaining.

For example you said you play Hag, Trapper, and Twins to make the game fun but I know a LOT of survivors hate those killers, especially Hag.

You can't please everyone so as long as you are not a jerk, just play what you want.

I didnt say that in context! In context i said i play Twins, Trapper and Twins can be fun "or" interesting and or in my case a challenge!

When i go against Twins for example which is extremely rare in my head i go

    "Oh its Twins interesting"

Define not bring a jerk because survivors try to be "jerks" most of the time with they're flashlight clicks and teabagging at different times. This comment doesnt make sense from the killers perspective because we want to win.

The only way i can see a killer being a so called jerk is if they get looped or outplayed and they hit you on hook. That also means they're a salty (mad) killer and cant hack it.

    @whammigobambam said:

I don't play killer anymore. Too much to manage, not enough reward for the stress involved. I can't imagine a killer going in and worrying about the survivors fun. Any killer that does that must be prone to injury irl.

Its a inability thing and killer is just not for you thats fine but your comment is a direct hit to me and with that i will say you dont define how i want to play the game buddy! Judging people and making smart a** remarks like that will get you no where "especially" with me! Theres nothing wrong with making the game fun or interesting for others or wanting to challenge yourself and just be different, nothing wrong with that at all. Keep your negativity to yourself and out of this thread!

I don't use noed and gen slowdown perks.

I can't say I care about survivors fun but I do feel sorry when they lose at 5 gens.

That usually happens when someone is afk or dc's you cant use this as an example. Even when my teams are absolutely horrible in solo que i can at least or a gen at least gets done.

Thise instances (no gens done at all) are uncommon! So your i dont use NOED and gen regression/defense holds no weight. People are mostly bad at dbd but there are definitely good players and these good players can match up in solo que and wreck you (me you etc) so this isnt saying anything.

    @PlaysByShady said:

I don't go into a match caring about the survivor's fun. I play for my own amusement, their enjoyment is on them.

That said, if a survivor or two DC early 'cos they're cry-babies, and the remaining players appear to be genuinely trying to play for their objectives, then I'll go easy on them (i.e. slug one at a time) so we both practice chase whilst the other is pushing gens (and then I'll switch targets). And I'll let them escape.

True but you can still make things more interesting for the game or challenge yourself by creating a variety of builds and there's nothing wrong with that at all! I put "fun" but fin is subjective. I've had players message me after a game and said oh "no one uses x killer or those perks and that was fun" thanks!

So you play for your own amusement only good and thats fine but to each his own! That's how it should be.

I play as Tinkerer Oni. Unless you have Spine chill or an swf calls me out, im ambushing the Jeff out of you regardless of how the gen is positioned. If that's not exciting then I don't know what is 😅

lol you know whats funny when i go against certain killers (like Oni) and i get 70% of the gen done in my head i go

    "Do you have Tinkerer"? lol

Your right you absolutely dont but why did you put it in the form of a question. Weird..

  • If im playing a certain survivor with a certain build and a teammate starts suiciding in my head i go

" Well..at least im getting Sole Survivor stacks"!

lol messed up but that's solo que dbd! People are mostly bad at the game and for different reasons may dc!

When I play killer how do I make the game fun for my opponents? That's easy, I don't. It's not my job. My job is to kill them.

Im not saying that! I try to 4k every game that's not saying anything. You can still play non meta builds or something to make things more interesting and challenging if your into challenging yourself.

Depends a lot of time I am running shadowborne, bbq and lethal only with random sets of add-ons. 90%(at least) don't really know how to play vs blight so they hate him. Half the player base will still attempt w vs him. But with out the 3 busted add-ons he has there is lots of room for counterplay. Most people don't even know what a wiggle is. Plus unless my queue times are long then I get people sweating, they know what they are getting into.

90% of players? Lol that's highly overexagerated! I survived Blights numerous times and i've seen others do too its just hard but also map dependent as well. People go against Blight all the time so it would only make logical sense that they would know how to go against him.

Sometimes I play "The Observer Wraith"

    I run:

    Addons:

Faster Cloaking and Faster action speeds while Cloaked (I forgot what they are called... LOL)

    Perks:

TOTH- To know when a Survivor either cleanses or Boons a Totem (or all of them)

Fire Up- To have my action speeds increased (plus it's not all that effective with how I play this... more on that later)

Discordance- To know when Survivors group up on Gens (again more on that later)

Whispers- To know where Survivors are (for the most part)

    Playstyle:

I stay Cloaked for the entire match... sometimes I fake coming Uncloaked... and just observe what the Survivors do... maybe take a chase or two... not hook anyone

I gotta say...when people do things like this it makes the game really boring! This is no different than farming to me but not as bad as holding the game hostage!

i play the game. if i try to make it "interesting" 5 gens will be done since ive done some strange thing that wasnt pressuring survivors, or ive run perks that dont help with gens or give me info.

so i just play my best, survivors dont do anything to make the game interesting for me, so i dont with them.

if survivors started running off meta, and started being interesting instead of comp dropping every pallet and playing as efficiently as humanly possible, then maybe id start playing with more interesting builds, but the game just doesnt allow for that right now

To be fair you cant really blame survivor for playing non-meta! Majority of the time when i use non meta builds my teamates live but i am the only survivor that dies because im thinking of others and not myself!

Perfect example, earlier i had a game where i used Sabo/Dead Hard/Breakout/Empathy with a Alex's toolbox and the speed and charge add-ons! Saved people from getting hooked three different times against a Blight and i wasted so much of the killers time that they got all the gens done. Problem? The killer was tired of my sh** and basement hooked and camped and "no one" took the liberty of trying to get me, well two of them did but the one i saved the most just opened the exit gates showing his lack of empathy (ironically lol) and made no effort to get me with the team and just left with the other two.

Prime example! I just tried to play different and save my team while they made little to no effort to return the favor but that's dbd solo que for you.

I don’t want survivors to ever think it’s the killers responsibility in any way shape or form to make the game fun and entertaining. That’s up to them to decide as it’s completely subjective. I play to have fun, not to make sure other players are having fun

I totally get you and players like me can be underappreciated and people still be obnoxious by teabagging and trying to make you feel bad but for me personally it also has to do with the fact that im challenging myself which can give me negative results but i do it anyway again to keep things interesting both for me and survivor.

Welp I play 100% blight when im not duoing survivor. I play for chases and Usually take no slow down or only pain res. I'll slug in end game against really altruistic swfs but everything else is on the survivor. If you have a chance for a good chase then there should be nothing to complain about, right?

People complain about Blight "alot" and rightfully so! He's top 2 killer in the game and very common to go against. For these reasons although he "can" be fun to go against Blight is your typical "top tier" so not alot of positive things will be said about him.

  • @versacefeng said:

i don't have twins so i can only speak from a survivor perspective, but, i think victor should be able to jump around like a maniac bouncing chimp, because firstly, that would be hilarious. he just feels tame atm like getting chased by him is free distance away from charlotte

if you are great at twins and could prove me wrong then awesome, but i would think their extremely low representation might indicate something.

Well Twins are low represented because one they're not so easy to play and two people find them unfun to play or go against.

They're good but just like Hag people arent too interested! I for one love Twins! Using them yes but i'll admit a strong Twins player is a headache at times.

You go against Oni's? I never run into him almost literally lol

  • @Ashes said:

4: Huntress. 90% of them camp as soon as possible. If that doesn't work they start tunneling. So...yea...sick of her even though she is one of my favorites.

5: Nemesis. I am fine with him and his zombies. It is quite fun when they don't tunnel.

The problem we all have is that what you said is misleading. You specifically said "Your suppose to slug with Hag!" in the post I was responding to. What me and others have been pointing out is that hag has nothing to do with that play style being beneficial. Any killer benefits from slugging if they see a survivor after downing someone. Hag has a bit more of a potential benefit from it die to how her traps can be destroyed, but hag should not be the subject of that sentence. It makes sense to say "killers" since that is just something killers should do. Hag is a killer, but--to reiterate--it's not because of any specific killer that slugging is a good idea if you grab a survivor of an unhook.

Our problem is that you specifically say it is something That should do, rather than something killer should do. Saying Hag makes it seem more exclusive than it actually is.

Last post regarding this because this is dumb, you guys are arguing with me for absolutely no reason and its because you overlooked what i said and dont wither understand or comprehend so for the last time...

I was talking about "a situation" or situations where slugging is beneficial and a must in order to win "in those situations! Im not talking about so called playstyles.

If one is hooked, the other tries to get an unhook but is grabbed off. Immediately you throw him down especially if the hooked person is or is approaching second stage of hook. Slugging in " these" situations is not only beneficial, its smart!

This is why i said "Hag slugs to win" because someone brought up that by picking a survivor up all her traps will get set off and "this" was when i said what i said regarding slugging. So you "didnt" pay attention to what was fully being said, its ok though moving on!

STBFL is another perk that I feel is a must-use and for my 4th perk I either run Blood Favor or Corrupt Intervention.

I told people that Body Block Hag got buffed but it was shot down with a "its a gimmic" lol People i swear...like killers cant win with gimmic or non meta builds, its funny and crazy how people think which is rigid!

I disagree with the idea you are supposed to slug with hag as some rule of thumb. Slugging is a method available to all killers, which depending on the killer's power and the situation, becomes more or less viable (also depending on how sweaty you wanna get). I think hag has more to lose from hooking sometimes, since you can loose a lot of pressure if you placed your traps well and a survivor destroys them while you are carrying a survivor. If that's happening, the best pressure is to slug in response. So she has situations where slugging can be more beneficial, but slugging is not something you're supposed to do because of the killer you are playing. It is something you do because of the situation you are in.

I don't base my playstyle with my girl Hagatha around slugging because it is not what I'm "supposed" to do or the proper way to play her. I prefer pressuring survivors to loop in a way that benefits me, and getting downs+hooks that way. Every killer has plenty of ways to succeed. Choosing to not focus on slugging does not mean people are playing her wrong. They just aren't playing her like you.

You did not understand what i said..i never said you are suppose to focus on slugging but if the situation occurs which it dies with Hag then any other killer "in that situation" described earlier you have to slug!

This is not complicated at all and you guys ate making this bigger than it actually is.

It's on worth slugging when someone else on hook when the slugged person is near the hook, and this applies to all killers including Hag. Hooking doesn't do much for you, I'll admit, but the more you get the more survivors will be closer to dying and feel pressured.

Ok so what are you saying! Hag slugs end of discussion!

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3190796#Comment_3190796

So you don't hook at all with Hag? Why then has she never been bombarded with slugging/bleeding out complaints like Twins has?

Never said that! Go back and read what i said and to i was responding to and why...

The poster said Hag gets punished by picking up survivors while another one "is on the hook" See that?

And "i" said you shouldn't be picking up survivors when someone is hooked because that's not smart or optimal and you need to learn Hag's strengths otherwise your just super casual with her and not competitive or you don't want to win. Situations my friend, situations! Read the whole thread next time.

  • @danielmaster87 said:

She gets held back by SWF. It's just not fair to lose your entire mine field of traps from picking up 1 person.

Hag doesn't work that way. Your suppose to slug with Hag! If a survivor is hooked and another survivor gets grabbed off a unhook attempt that survivor is to be thrown down immediately or if they get basic attacked and downed you leave them grounded.

This is a great strength of Hag's because she penalizes poor play and or bad decisions.

Hag is all about momentum breaking and shifting!

    @humanbeing1704 said:

    hag is decent

I just can't stand playing her especially if you get smart people who will blow up all your traps mid carrying someone which is a smart strategy

lol you guys don't know how to use Hag at all! Refer to the post above! Hag slugs, that's how she wins, any other way and you really don't want to win with Hag and you should try another killer because shes not for you unless you understand her snd her better with her. Trust me shes one of my mains! )

  • On those rarer occasions you actually have to dc because a survivor may be working with killer, this happened to me earlier where as the whole team died and the Ada decided to work with the Myers.

When they finally caught/found me, the Ada body blocked me so i wouldn't escape and they held me hostage so i dc'ed!

Other than situations like these suicides and dc's can really hurt a team so people shouldn't do it.

In the least mean way possible -

"oh no the camping killer can't camp as good :((((("

Hag (and imo Trapper as well, set up killers just lead to bad matches) need reworked

No they dont especially not Hag, they're fine and Trapper got buffed already. I rarely lose with Hag despite the map, she's fine!

  • @Sally_S_gay_son said:

Have you tried starstruck/agitation build? As a Nurse main I prefer to use Starstruck on Hag, it's super fun esp with Agi, because the survivors will be super scared to even move knowing they are exposed and I can pop up any moment and down them instatly.

It's the build I have gotten most dcs on lmao

I have tried an exposed Hag build i didn't like it and i didn't do well with it. Iron Maiden/Dragons Grip/MYC/Starstruck. I would never use Agitation and for a few reasons.

Sloppy Butcher/Clauraphobia/Unnerving Presence/Distressing gives me much more value. Distressing Hag!

  • Nurses, pretty ok on Hag but feel you need to use another perk slot to get value out of it with Sloppy Butcher otherwise on its own its just ok but not worth running over Corrupt if your competitive and trying to win.

  • MYC and Franklin's are good choices for Hag but not necessary to win with her.

  • Like i said before this thread is misleading and or disinformation because Hag is fine and BHVR "did not" butcher Hag because of "one" perk! I said what i had to say on this and that's that.

Hag is a top tier killer! Always has and potentially always will be unless she gets nerfed which i believe she wont at all and because top Hag's like myself exist!!

MYC and Franklin's arent "needed" to win with Hag because i've proved this many times. I don't need either of these perks to win with her but they "are" good perks to have on her, im not denying that!

So me stating facts is manipulating and gaslighting? Ok

Let me clarify, you don't want the Dredge to lose base speed, but you don't mind him getting nerfed? Ok, makes sense. You want a killer to have the ultimate teleporting power with 0 consequence, teleport whilst in a chase, power that reveals the location of the survivors, stealth power, secondary power AND base killer speed, but a killer with limited teleportation and required set up for said power to work with base killer speed, that's not ok? That killer should be slower?

Let me remind you that I stated my opinion on this topic, which you started commenting on, arguing on and trying to push your opinion onto me. I'm not one to budge. I stated my opinion and my reasons for my opinion multiple times, which you dismantled because it doesn't fit your opinion and your narrative and you try to push your thoughts which you have yet to specify the reason for.

And with that all said, it looks like you're the one that is trying to manipulate and with your last comment, I can say that you're trying to gaslight me. See how easy it is to throw around such statements.

This is not a personal attack towards you. I stated my opinions, I elaborated on my opinions, and I stay behind and protect my opinions.

Again, you started arguing my opinion, so own up to it.

I'm only protecting my opinion, sharing my viewpoints and my impressions, which I am free to share.

And don't talk to me about intelligence :) Let's not insult each other

Keep in mind that this is a forum where people share their thoughts and protect their opinions. If you're not up to that, don't comment, don't go against other people's personal opinions. Of course, they will defend them.

You're free to disagree, but you go into a 2-day rant and then try to put on me

This is my final post to you because you are not comprehending what is being said to you..

I said "I dont care whether Dredge gets nerfed or not im still gonna play him" I dont know where you got "that killer should be slower"? As you rhetorically asked me this and the obvious sensible answer is no.

I am not "pushing my opinion on you" lol people man...I am stating opinions as opinions and facts as facts, take that for what it is, you either agree with "my opinion" or you dont its not complicated but your trying to complicate things. If you want indepth explanations then ask and i will do so.

The tea pot is calling the kettle black. You say im writing a 2 day rant when im not "ranting" at all. I dont agree with your opinions and you dont agree with mines so we'll leave it at that.

This all started because you said Hag's teleport is not as good as Dredges and i said its mucg better than you said Hag is weaker than Dredge and i said you are wrong! I play both killers very well but you make unmerrited comments like "you dont know or play Hag" How did you expect me to react to that?

Its like saying to a random person "you dont drink no water or very little". The person (who btw drinks plenty of water unbeknownst to you) will look at you like ypur crazy bc you dont know "anything" about that person. So why would you make such a statement like that?

Of course we are all entitled and express our opinions but when it came to me you made comments that you shouldn't have because you weren't really thinking about what you were saying, or you say those things to others and it goes over they're head or they wont say anything about it or call you out on it and i did and do!

Lets just agree to disagree im done!

  • @foodie said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3187981#Comment_3187981

By your logic, Dredge should also get his base speed reduced, since he has normal killer speed, but then again, you wouldnt agree for your main to get nerfed right :)

You're very biased and it shows. You also dont play hag or not enough to have an objective opinion on how she is doing in the current state of the game.

She has had no changes since 2018, but why care about that or want her to be looked at?You don't play her

Enjoy your Dredge, make posts about how much he needs a buff. I'm sure you won't say no to that.

You dont know how my mind works! No i would not reduce Dredge's movement speed, why would i do that? Dont make stuff up just to enforce your narrative! I speak in plain language!

I am not biased and if i "was" a developer or worked for a fighting game company i very much would know how to properly balance them! Biasness will always turn out bad for games in terms of its overall balance so why would i do that?

I am "not" biased and your claim about "it shows" in fact shows nothing. You are trying to paint a picture to put me in a negative light, dont do that because i see right through that. People do the very things you are doing all the time so dont for a moment think that you can manipulate the topic to put yourself in a good light because that wont work with me either, im far too intelligent for that.

How do you know anything about how much i play and woth who? You don't so cut it out, now your gaslighting! The only time i'll staye an opinion on something is if i feel very strongly about it and you making up stuff and without even knowing what your talking about, you will get called out for it by people like me, nice try though!

Once again your "i dont play her" is meritless and of course false and wrong! Stop assuming things and making stuff up to fit your narrative.

Finally i am not one of these "kids" (a mentality) on here! I don't care whether Dredge is nerfed or buffed im still gonna play him. Your statements and comments may go over with unintelligenable people but not with me! Your social ability is lacking now if you want to keep on back and forth like this we can but we're getting no where just to let you know and fast!

If i have an opinion i will state that something is my opinion and if it is fact i will state it as such.

  • @foodie said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3187133#Comment_3187133

I can tell you're a Dredge fan, always protecting him. If you were playing hag as much as you claim, you would know what her issues are and how she is not better than dredge.

Fact is, Hag is neglected by the devs due to her lack of popularity, always have been and always will be. She is bugged, and needs balance updates.

The only reason she got a rework years go is that Matthew got bullied while playing Hag on live stream. That was the first and last time she got attention by the devs

She doesn't need huge changes, but few things would be really helpful to her, such as a huge bug fix overhaul, speed change - to regular killer speed, a slight increase to her teleportation distance as a base kit(not a big deal if it doesn't happen but would be good), change to how flashlights affect her traps - nowadays you just need to do click-click and trap gone. Back in the day destroying a trap to leech out a lot of charges to the flashlight, this needs to be back.

People complain that Hags bring Franklin's and of course they do, when just a yellow flash can destroy her whole web twice at minimum. It is of little consequence how much charge is taken to destroy a trap, and it can completely destroy her power in a match, like toolboxes used to on Trapper.

And as I think I mentioned devs claimed they do not want survivors to completely disarm a killer's power which is why bear traps can't be destroyed by toolboxes, yet the devs forgot about hag and flashlights.

Her add-ons as mentioned are boring and useless. She doesn't need yellow or green benefits, the brown ones are more than fine. Devs can do so much with her in adding other add-ons and it would make her more interesting not only to play as but also face

Here's what you "don't" know, Dredge is one of my stronger killers and one of my mains! Now with that being said yes Hag is very much better than Dredge "and" she's better at teleporting period!

She's better but its debatable "how much" better she is. You cannot give Hag 4.6 or 115% movement without taking something away from her first, its called proper balancing.

While your at it why don't you suggest Huntress get 4.6 on default without add-ons lol! Ludicrous!

I agree with you that her bugs (sound etc) need fixing but thats about it. Buffing her movement speed is "not" proper balance.

  • Hag is perfectly fine! People are over exaggerating! Its "one" perk with a huge rarity of encounter that's not even a guarantee win on Hag.

  • @foodie said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3186600#Comment_3186600

You just proved my point, this is a build this hag was using.

I either run no add-ons, or brown distance and Phantasm duration. I dont run anything else because i dont need it. I dont put my traps in narnia where i cant teleport. My web is within range

Proved what point!? What build what Hag was using?

You dont need x to win with Hag, fine i only use her strong add-ons so what's the point of bringing this up?

Hag's teleporting ability is better than Dredges! This is not my opinion this is a fact!

    @Adjatha said:

No good reason for her to be 4.4 anymore, but watch as she's not changed to compensate for the fact that her whole deal has been dismantled and she joins the ever-growing pile of unplayable killer options.

Huh? What you said makes absolutely no sense you "cant" make her 4.6 without some sort of balance for this! Same as Huntress and Nurse, they get 4.6 or faster movement speed with add-ons but at the cost of something. Your suggesting 4.6 with her same power and kit, you cant do that thats way too op!

  • @foodie said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3186467#Comment_3186467

Hag mains dont play with add-ons or play with brown ones unless theyre trying to go for a specific build :)

I've been playing hag since 2018

That's fine, im godlike at dbd but i main killer (means if something was on the line for $$$ i'd play killer side) and Hag is one of my strongest Killers with a high from mid high mmr and one of my mains!

Speaking of Hag i just had a game where i bodied (4k) a team with Body Block Hag!

Hag mains very much play with her add-ons so i dont know where that disinformation comes from! We definitely use her add-ons which are strong outside purple and iri.

Why on earth would you not want to use add-ons in the current meta? Unless your playing Nurse or doing a special challenge it makes no sense! You will most likely lose!

    @BenSanderson55 said:

There's not many good Hags that dont trap the basement or hooks and camp. Mitchi Is one good hag that comes to mind (prolly spelled name wrong been awhile). So yeah I'm glad as well. Because basically now people like Mitchi arent affected and campers are.

Yeah we're the few out there! Make no mistake she's top tier for sure at A+. My argument is that people are saying Dergdges teleporting ability is better than Hag's and its not.

  • @foodie said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3186384#Comment_3186384

The Dregde is more powerful than Hag at teleporting, sorry.

He does not have a limit to how far he can go, he can stay in a locker and camp, or travel from locker to locker until he finds someone, teleport cooldown is basically nothing, during nightfall, he "sees" where survivors are, he needs 0 preparation when the match starts, he can teleport mid-chase as much as he wants.

Hag's addons are useless and the fact that you boosted the trap setting speed as a strong addon tells me you dont play hag or dont know how to play her. Her brown add-ons are in fact her best addons. Anything higher is useless, you don't need it, it's like filling

Body block Hag is a meme build

About the bugs, her terror radius is bugged or rather her phantasm's ; sometimes early in the game, the traps you lay disappear and you need to waste even more time, laying them again; camera flip doesnt always work, which allows survivors to run far from your traps and even if you insta teleport you will miss; there is a delay or to me it looks like lag, when you insta teleport and can make you lose hits; your phantasm not looking at the survivor, so you teleport and dont know where to hit; range add-ons not working; either the heart or the ears is bugged or both tbh i dont care about those to remember. Grabbing survivors has always been bugged on Hag, for actual years. Ye, sometimes she can do a grab, but most times she either gets stuck in the grab animation or doesnt get into it at all, when she should and on any other killer, said hit, wouldve been a direct grab

    Shall I continue?

No he "is not" more powerful at teleporting than Hag because one he transverses the lockers at different paces and can have a locker locked.

Hag has counterplay as well but her teleporting is overall better, period!

Hag's addons are useless? Lol you clearly dont play or know Hag to make such an assanine comment. Her brown addons are trash! Do you play at a low mmr? Only weaker players or players that play low mmr would make such a comment.

As far as the rest of what you say those things dont affect me because im sweaty with Hag ie i use her best add-ons and builds. Body Block Hag may seem gimmicky but dont get it twisted i very much catch bodies with her.

  • @foodie said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3186137#Comment_3186137

She needs a rework. Since Dredge can teleport during chases, all over the map with basically 0 consequence, has a second ability and is not slower than other teleporting killers, Haggie deserves a speed boost. Regular killer speed

Her add-ons are like old potatoes. Her add-ons are the thing that needs a rework the most since their boring and useless, and she also needs bug fixes. She is a baguette, completely forgotten and neglected by the devs. She has bugs that are a year old, its stupid

I wanna see a gen slowing add-on, idk what that would be or look like but i want it; add-ons that add a negative effect on survivors such as hemorrhage? yes, why not. etc etc

Your comparing Dredge's teleporting ability to Hag's and there's no comparison at all because she outclasses him in this department. He can be compared to Demigorgon yes but not Hag, she does this way better than he does.

Hag's green add-ons are very strong (trap setting speed and teleport distance) so i don't know what your getting at here. Yes her purple and iri's arent great nor are her brown add-ons but she doesn't need them and her yellow addons are decent. Heck even "body block Hag" got buffed from the previous iteration of herself.

What bugs does she have? I honestly dont know so tell me.

Hag is perfectly fine and doesnt need a whole rework like Freddy! Freddy "needed" a rework because he was too weak then "Forever Freddy" came around and ge got nerfed from a top 4 position to the position he is in now which is B tier or mid!

Hag's tiering has always been relatively the same with her being either S tier or A+!

  • Guys 1 perk does not dictate, change or determine how good a killer is. So what if Reassurance gives Hag trouble its still not a guaranteed loss for her at all, plus honestly what are the chances of two or three survivors running Reassurance in "that" game where they go against a Hag who already is a rare killer!?

Its extremely low so why are people complaining again?

Its like survivors running Calm Spirit but not going against a Doctor or vice versa.

Probability is way too low to even consider these so called dominating or op perks against certain killers, that's the reality!

Rework? Hag is perfectly fine! People naturally do stupid stuff when going against Hag and play bad against her.

Shes not even top 5 but you want her to get reworked? Don't be ridiculous!

    @GrimoireWeiss said:

A killer shouldn't be designed around camping. If Hag is truly that weak after this patch (which I doubt), then by all means rework her.

She's not weak at all. She's right after top 5, Reassurance or not!

I use Prove Thyself because a lot of people don't seem to understand that working on gens together is less efficient overall. Sometimes team mates will even follow you. So prove thyself at least makes it so you will always be efficient.

Working on "far" gens ie the gens at the end of the map together isn't efficient but working on the middle (hard to do early game gens) gen with someone is efficient because you ensure that gen gets done and ensuring your team doesn't get 3 gen'ed!

I "always" do the middle gens early game for this very reason. Prove Thy Self is okay!

I hear you but Kindred should absolutely not be basekit and for good reason too because that's way too broken!

You'd be wrong about Windows only being for new players. It's the second most popular survivor perk in the game right now specifically because even veterans like how it helps them form a game plan for a chase.

Im a veteran or godlike player and i never use it because its a waste of a perk slot to me but to each his own.

I know the maps inside out so i would never use Windows, dont need it. If i run with a foreseeable gameplan its because im using Spine Chill and planning way ahead! Some people dont realize how good "distance" and "wasting the killers time" is so strong in dbd!

I feel like any healing perk (except Autodidact) that helps you heal your team quickly, helps a lot in surviving in solo que. The quicker you get injured teammates “back in the game,” the better. This is why sloppy butcher is such a good killer perk- it wastes time.

Off topic: Does anyone know if the hook bubble is supposed to block Kindred now, or is that a glitch? If that’s intentional, then that sucks.

Yeah i noticed that too! The bubble is annoying but i can tolerate it.

Wow really? I take that part of my comment back then, noted!

Wouldn't call it a need but a good runner up would be sole survivor

If you are the kind of person that's in "mmr hell" this is a amazing perk

Just play like normal and in the event of your teammates falling like flies you still have a pretty decent shot at escaping through the gates in a lot of maps

It's a insurance perk but it's surprisingly effective

I just posted about this perk Sole Survivor! Good all around in the current meta especially with certain other perks.

Lol mmr hell! Tell me about it, people either get you killed, let you get two and one hooked and are far from optimal, its pretty bad!

  • Sole Survivor and Wake Up is also really good for solo when you want to escape. S3 Survivor/Spine Chill/Wake Up/exhaustion (Lithe) is great because you get the objective done and do your part and if ypur team starts to fall apart, leave em and go for end game!

Great build that covers a wide array of options in match! Its good for early, middle and greater end game!

If it works for you, that's great.

Find it hard to imagine spine chill assisting with looping tbh. Surely you can tell if the killer is chasing you without it by listening to the terror radius, looking behind you and focusing on the red stain?

For soloq I mostly use Windows, Lithe, Lightweight and Quick & Quiet.

Sometimes I'll throw on We'll Make It, Rookie Spirit and Kindred.

Distance! Spine Chill when used right gives you distance on a killer. That's actually a big deal! Spine Chill also increases your vault actions on top of other things so its very much good for looping.

I agree with you using Kindred but not Windows at All and Lightweight is even worse because it means your more stealthy and less good at looping but i could be wrong but its the way i see it.

You already have Quick & Quiet and Lithe so after your initial boost optimally you shouldn't be running after that anyway. Also killers like me will still track you because our tracking is top and most likely wont loose you. Lucky Break is much better with ypur build than Lightweight imo.

    @Ricardo170373 said:

SoloQ needs improvements in base kit, i dont want run with perks for help me because im solo while SWF dont need simply because they dont need, because they have communicate. its unfair.

Improvements how? Survivor "just" got a 10 second default Borrowed Time after an unhook so i dont know what more you want.

Its a struggle i agree but its coming down to three or four meta perks if you want to increase your chances in solo que.

  • @BringShaggytoDBD said:

You lost me at Spine Chill.

Bite the Bullet is good with a good medkit.
