Doesn't anyone think this small buff would be great?
-
Camping is okay at any time. It isn't nice, but the premise of camping is that someone was caught... and if they are camping hard, 2-3 gens should get popped.
So it's 1 life for 3 gens. At least 2.
That's a good tradeoff, but it does suck for whoever was camped.
-
The perk is fine the way it is.
It's not crazy powerful and has stipulations.
Sometimes I hardly even see the obsession. Stop.

rip legion, we may see a buff/rework next year for him
Yeah maybe. I mean that was something that was going to make him strong man. Like Nurse good. Or Billy good.
I've been playing with this setup a lot today...
Monitor, Remember Me, Discordance and Sloppy Butcher II
PLaying with green add ons...
Been doing mostly well. I'm rank 1.
Getting 2 and 3 mostly. Had 2 games where I got just 1. I'd say I average about 3 though. Or 2.7 or something. He's good. He's interesting, but needs that extra thing.

People need to think... before they type things.
The Legion is another high end, top tier killer people. Adapt.
Yes people, adapt to something that has no counterplay.
Forehead.
Nope.
Those same people couldn't adapt to Freddy when he came out. Or Spirit.
Now they are both considered "fine" by most biased Survivor standards.
Same thing here "almost".... he could use a tweak... like I've mentioned in other threads.
Freddy had TONS or counterplay and the community whined so badly dude.
Get real.
-
I wouldn't mind 4 or 5 limitation to it honestly.
I mean how many times to you heal more than 4 or 5 times anyways? Not often.
-
Yeah I was wondering the same. Nothing is listed. I'd think there's a stream with PTB update stuff?

Nah, these should remain exclusives. If you were playing when they were up for grabs great... if not.. sorry.
Except that the game was seriously bugged during the Lunar event. I couldn't play killer much if at all because my game would constantly crash on console.
The Hallowed Blight event items can be bought with Auric cells. I don't see why other event items can't be bought that way either.
No.
I am on console as well. It wasn't bugged. It wasn't reflecting your coin totals, but it was still counting them and 2 days in @not_Queen stated this.
It was fine. Besides it was a long event. That's on you.
The exclusive items should remain exclusive. Period.
-
The hatch mechanic is a great idea.
It's just extremely survivor sided and has been for 3 years now.
The killer needs to have the ability to shut it... like they tested in the PTB. I don't know why they didn't go through with that.
-
All this is wrong.
Ranked Rewards.
End of story.
-
The trapbox for survivors to get trapped should be slightly larger. Period.
-
Camping is totally needed at times.
If they are buzzing the hook, I'll stay near by.
So many times SWF tryhards will try to bait me away when I KNOW that another person is nearby.
Why should I leave? I don't.
I'll have 1 person hooked. I'll go to soft patrol the area, I'll find someone. They'll run away... and I just know someone else is nearby.
4/5 times if I chase, the hook pops... and off they go, so I'll take my small points, and return to the hook... hit someone else, and from that point they can choose to unhook while injured or not.
It isn't my objective to 3 hook everyone. Get real.
-
NO. This millennial approach to stuff like this is just horrible.
Dead by Daylight just needs a fresh coat of paint on a couple things.
Ranked Rewards
Prestige Enhancements?
Stats
It's pretty simple.
-
Nah, these should remain exclusives.
If you were playing when they were up for grabs great... if not.. sorry.

Say what you want. The tone presented in your post clearly needs less salt.
Lessen your sodium. It's alright. You'll thank me for it lol
All in fun man.

1. New Surveillance is a god send for him.
2. Maybe people realize that he isn't nearly as bad as many say he is (mid tier), feel free to blame me for it.He's not that bad. The new engine update really helped the visuals and its a bit easier to spot people now.
He's still not a strong killer. He's mid tier at best. I'm great with him, but he's weaker for sure. It's tough to classify him. He's somewhere in the vein of Trapper, Pig I think
-
Glad I hit a nerve.
I must of spoken quite well. Good day to you as well. lol
-
I don't have that big of a problem with it.
I run Remember Me often and it's just another 5 seconds I tack on. It's whatever. It's annoying, but I just tunnel whoever runs it.

We do.I am assuming The Legion change you are referring to is this one:
The Deep Wound timer now starts at 20 seconds (instead of 30 seconds) when an injured survivor is hit by Feral Frenzy. The timer for Feral Frenzy hits on healthy survivors remains at 30 seconds. This change is currently being tested on the PTB and is originally and idea coming from the Community.
If you don't like the change, you can just give your feedback here: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/-2-5-0-ptb
People tend to cry about things "THEY DON'T LIKE" without being objective.
The Legion is a force now. The changes are fantastic. That is my opinion, and while I do play more killer than survivor... I understand that surviving should be tough and intense. That is the point.
I'll admit, I agree with what you're saying Dwight, I think that you have to justify your point of "fun" since "fun" is very subjective, many people would find fun in being competative, while others in being silly.
Regardless of the fun factor however I think the changes to Legion are great, while it may not be popular that doesnt make it bad, take for example (now I'll be using a very sensitive topic here, so please bear with me) abortion, it may not be liked by alot of people however in many scenarios it is the best course of action.
Having a change to legion that will make him ever more stronger to me is a great change and I also think that making these changes is a step in the right direction, make it good before you make it fun we'll say.I agree. Most survivors don't like the changes. Some killers do like them. Or most maybe?
It's hard to know who plays what more etc...
Popular music today isn't very good in general... and what isn't popular usually is good. The masses don't always get it right.
The changes are fantastic. He's now a killer with "power" with "control" and all that. With Monitor and Abuse III he's just lethal. 16m terror radius? Insane. Short.
INsane.
He could use a drawback I guess, but some people weren't healing against him. So now they have to. Choke on it ya know?
Remember when Freddy came out? And the backlash was so intense on the steam forums they degraded him in 1 week? Yeah...
Freddy was pretty weak already, and survivors didn't like an invisible killer that was able to find them. They cried like crazy and nerfed him horribly. And here we are... 1 year and 2 months later. No change. He's still bottom Tier in the game for sure.
The devs are doing so much better now. I'm happy, but listening to unobjective survivors doesn't help.
The Legion right now in the PTB is fantastically strong, powerful and intimidating. As he should be. Well done.
I personally get annoyed when I face him too on the survivor side, and I don't do too well against him. I'm on PS4 and can't play the current build, but I've watched A LOT of matches on him.
Just make it if he misses a Frenzy attack his power gauge goes down by 25%. Fixed. And he that miss runs the gauge out... he gets stunned.
Fixed.

Surviving is supposed to be tough, but not impossible. Even the nurse, the best killer in the game, has counters. Problem is Legion doesn't have any which makes playing against them extremely unfun.
I do see what you're saying. I really do.
I hope you've not been watching truetalent and just going on about what he's been going on about.
The Deep Wound adjustment is brilliant. THe ability to keep your power gauge is you cancel is also great.
Maybe if a frenzy attack is missed AFTER a hit then it ends it? I don't know. I'm okay with a minor drawback, but nothing crazy.
Even if ANY missed frenzy attack and it cancels? I don't know. That might be too much?
-
I loved the hallowed blight event.
We get a fun objective... cool cosmetics (9 free ones) and I'm excited for it. Stop crying.

Freddy doesn't need a rework. I'm lethal with him.
I don't see a real problem in his design.
They simple need to either let his blocks stack, shave a second off the blocks and leave them alone.. OR
OR
Make self care or healing not wake you up. (other person or gen only)
ANd that works.

So yes. I'm very much right in my logical thinking. Try it.
This game isn't called "Survive by Daylight". The premise is trying to stay alive and it being difficult to do it.
I couldn't care less what the game's name is.
Your logic would not change if the game was called alive by daylight, lets face it.
This is a multiplayer game and if you want to win, I want to win too.
It is either, killers are not entitled to get kills, survivors are not entitled to get escapes or killers are entitled to get kills, survivors are entitled to get escapes.
You want to get kills? Git gud.
I get kills. Without NOED.
I'm just sick of the illogical and nonsensical bickering that doesn't make sense.
Look in the mirror and think.
-
@PolarBear said:
I wouldn't mind noed but I can never be sure if all the totems are cleansed unless i cleanse all of them. There is no guarantee that even if I cleanse 4 totems that any of the other survivors cleansed the 5th. Even if someone else has cleansed a totem, you can't know unless you find the cleansed totem as well. If there was a way to know that all totems are cleansed then noed wouldn't be a problem. In general people do cleanse them. Mostly. 3-4 will get cleaned usually. It's just an issue when someone very competitive and entitled compains about NOED.
I usually cleanse 2 and then forget them... unless it is very convenient to me for a 3rd.
-
The self care change is fantastic.
SWF is powerful against ANY killer. And SWF can make average survivors dominate a great killer at times.
-
@PigNRun said:
NOED is a fine perk. Its just that those who complain about it are those who dont wish to focus on a secondary objective and just do generators. And, well, then we have salty people who get hit by it.Well said.

@DemonDaddy said:
Survivors have all the control when it comes to this perk. If your not gonna take the time then its your own fault. And the excuse that the team rushed doesn't change anything. If you see gens popping right and left, maybe you should take the responsibility and hunt down the totems.Exactly. Thanks.

I do agree. It would be a small buff to him. His traps should be like a "friend" and not something he's able to get stuck in.
This would help his character a small amount. He's lower tier in the killer list, but still a fun and good killer. His traps also should have a wider ranger to catch survivors. Just make the trapbox like 25% bigger so survivors can't just go past them.
-
Legion is strong.
He should be. It is well done by the devs. He could use maybe a slight alteration to him though. But I really think he's menacing and close to being perfect.

He's strong, as a killer should be. They did buff Self Care, but no one cares about that lol
People were starting to not heal at times against him. Now you need to. Maybe they could make it 1 second in between stabs? So it can't be spammed?
I think he's top tier and strong. As he should be. PLaying against him is intense and tough. ADapt.
Something something about 'fun' which is highly subjective, something something counterplay which survivors give killers a ton of.. blah blah. Sigh. We've been here before, haven't we?
We have, and you must of been on the losing end of logical debate.
Sighs...

I slugged yesterday and I got this dude messaging me about how he works for Behaviour and is filing this etc etc...
It was a total scare tactic. I thought it was so funny. I just slugged... and his team got rekt.
-
No one tries to loose a killer. No one runs LIghtweight.
No one runs quick and quiet hardly. People aren't trying to loose or evade killers that much. They just try to loop them and waste time. We have a strong killer in hand. What is the problem.
Wasn't everyone crying he was too weak and trash?
Now they make him stronger, and people are crying?
Get over it. Well done @not_Queen

I think it's clear that SC is not only here to stay but destined to be the defining meta perk of survivor gameplay. I think people just need to accept that and move on.Right and that is fine, because they are also adding other perks that are strong, which can change things up.
I don't run self care on every survivor, but I do have a couple I use it on.
-
I'm a killer main, and I'm totally fine with the change. It doesn't bother me. I play solo survivor, I see it from both sides.
It's fine. Not that big of a change. Go forward with it.
We FINALLY have a killer that is feared greatly. The Legion as is in the PTB is possibly the best killer in the game now.
-
Maybe pick out your very favorite character and do it?
Other than that... it's worth doing Quinten, Laurie, Tapp. They have no other real alternatives. They have a couple different, but blood is appealing on them as they are licensed.
So outside of these survivors... no it isn't worth it. Unless you got a bad shake of perks or something.
-
They should either buff Thano by 2%, or....
Let it happen if someone dies. Let that still count. So 1 dead and 3 healthy is like 1 injured permanently.
-
I like the change. Keep it.
-
Both are fantastic buffs. Well done.
I already use Leader often, but never ever use Prove Thyself.
I'll have to rethink it now. Well done!!!
-
75%+ of survivors run self care...
That means it is fine the way it is.
-
Myers' add ons are perfectly balanced.
Stop crying.
-
It is improved slightly since the engine update.
I mean it still isn't the way it needs to be, but they are going the right way with it all.
-
Dying Light is fine the way it is.
You're just trying to prevent a tunnelling thing. Some perks are just like that. Most killers don't even use Dying LIght so it isn't like it is a problem.
Deal with it. I love the design. Obsession gets altruism bonuses... killer gets a huge buff if the obsession dies.
Perfect.
