Yes cause stats are always so reliable. Based on stats nurse is the worst killer in the game and pig is top tier. Stats don't always mean what you'd think. People in solo queue without any coordination it makes sense it'd have a high kill rate not because its necessarily mean it was the most killer sided map.
Well I've also played that hell hole of a map as well. It was a numinously hated for that map for survivors and now it's killers.
The map was actually really painful for survivors before the rework. There's no way you can look at me and say before the rework it wasn't a bad map for survivors. Now having a map that's fair on both accounts is hard, and I hate playing killer on some of these reworked maps. But, I always had a substantial kill rate on pre-reworked game.

Oh it's awesome. I love watching a survivor spawn on top of my Devour.

Similar to a lot of other stories here, I really loved Friday The 13th & always had so much fun on it with friends so I decided to one day look into other games that played the same way. Ended up finding Dead By Daylight & after putting it off for some time, eventually ended up buying it for myself & a friend of mine.
Man those were the days. The feeling of being a deer in headlights because I was new is something I can never recreate.
God, if all they did was put Jason in dbd 6th year anniversary, I'd personally believe people would lose their minds in excitement
Which I would. Friday the 13th was my favorite slasher before I watched TCM... Jason still holds a place in my heart
-
I'm stupid. Just reading the title shut my brain off and I thought this was a post about who has the better head....
I mean, yeah Pyramid Head's power is pretty good, but that's all. You get cum cages and a multi hit range attack that's slow as hell.
While Nemesis has constant map awareness and some pressure on how you build your zombies, and a rather quick and reliable whip
Recovery wise, when you miss you get a lengthy cool down as Pyramid Head, but when you hit someone it's stupid fast. I dunno, if Nemesis didn't give a survivor a free sprint burst, I'd say they're almost pretty even

I've heard it somewhere too, and I was thinking it was from the stream as well. But I couldn't say I'm sure it was from the stream... Maybe someone on Twitter/Reddit/etc.?
If this is some mandala effect going on, I'm gonna be a bit upset

It was the year of 2018. I was playing Friday the 13th: The Game with a friend. Jason wasn't really doing anything so we just kept talking, and when I asked him about game suggestions he mentioned Dead by Daylight. I bought it 1 month later.
It's funny how we look back on some things, just minor things such as that lead us to a big game.
It's kinda nostalgic. It's like looking at the first letter of a book you read that really stuck with you.

3 zombies or multi hit good for tier 3. One of them. Both would be op.
I'm not saying both, apparently Nemesis' zombies can really only go to two or otherwise things start to collapse. Not quite sure what that means, but I guess it would cause a worse frame rate issue

I don't agree. He needs more nerfs than just a tentacle slow. He gets 4k nearly every game because he has more advantages than any other killer in his basekit. He is shown where you are if you open a vaccine box. He is shown where you are if you are near a zombie. He is fast enough to end all loops while swinging around his tentacle. They also need to remove his ability to see the zombies auras and the notification of the vaccine boxes. He needs to be slower at full power, too.
He needs major nerfs. If you are a killer main investing all your blood in him I would think twice! He won't be so OP forever, because the numbers do not lie. He's killing everyone. I have written down the details of every match since his release and out of around 200 matches he is the most used killer by far (somewhere in between 25% and 50%), and he has gotten 4k in all but FOUR matches. No other killer even comes close to that. If this continues the devs know they won't keep new players. BHVR NEED 4x the survivors as they do killers, so they desperately need to balance this better. Nerfs are coming, don't waste your blood!
Didn't he just come out on the 15th of this month? He's been out for 8 DAYS! People are still learning to go against him, please do the same.
Edit: oh my god this was a satire post.. why do you do the things you do to very tired people like me?

Good idea but there has to be more reward.
Tier 1 - 2 zombies, 5m range
Tier 2 - 2 zombies, 6m range, tentacle can break pallets & walls
Tier 3 - 3 zombies, 7m range, tentacle can break pallets & walls
Tier 3 should multi hit, instead of breaking doors and pallets. Keep that for tier 2
Edit: you already did, my bad

Yeah, it's fixed though. Shame really, it just shows how awesome it was to have more bloodpoints. They should buff the numbers for all killers and survivors

I'd say Trapper, Trickster, and the Legion in that order

Even before it became pallet city it was still not really killer sided, I'd say it was the most balanced of the inside maps at the time cause although almost all of its pallets were safe it didn't have that many and it didn't have any super abusable windows so if you were able to create dead zones around the last few gens it'd be an easy cleanup but conversely if you had a team that wasn't wasteful with their resources then all the gens would be done before those dead zones were created. New Gideon doesn't even require even a modicum of resource management where you can just chuck every pallet as soon as you get to it and unless you're nurse or maybe hag(one of the only maps I'd argue hag is stronger then spirit on) there's very little you can do about it.
Well, before the rework it had the highest survivor deaths out of the all the maps. This isn't me just pulling some tidbit out of my butt, this is a legitimate stats

You wouldn't, but a lot of people would.
I without a doubt do. He's incredibly powerful and I'd say he's closely to the first best killer in the game, not only does he have addons that increase his base power, but he also has some that completely transforms him too. Even with some decently nutty reds, something that's kinda rare for killers. Plus, he's extremely fun to go against, I don't groan or roll my eyes like I do with Spirit. Nurse.. is kinda rare, but Blight, he feels great. Not right now obviously, but when those bugs are fixed, he feels great for both parties
-
Uh.. let's swallow these one at a time.
Myers has been the same, maps are changing so it can cause some stalking issues. Yes, I agree he needs to have his stalked fixed and give some additional buffs thrown his way. But, that wasn't intentional, he's an old killer who actually really hasn't changed at all throughout the era. He's a boomer in a zoomer's world (god I can't believe I said that, please stop me.) Yeah, he needs some passive buffs to fix some stalking clipping issues, but that's not ridiculously problematic, most it can be solved by walking x distance left or right, nothing horrific. But, yeah. The best buff they could give him is to remove the stalk limit and introduce it to the tombstones, that way you can only do it a certain amount of times before you're completely cucked out of a power. I mean, fair trade for a killer that can just kill without needing to hook you.
Blight, my boy. Yeah, okay. He's definitely got hit some sadness, but those are bugs that affected him, same with Myers, but the difference is that his power is up to date and very aggressive and very powerful. As I said for Michael, his power is affected by newer maps, same can be said about Blight, so those two needs to have their powers updated on maps that get updated to prevent some issues. All of Blight's issues are glitches and bugs, none of them were intentional. Yeah, he's suffering because of it. They'll be fixed, he's just a wounded person right now who will get back up and continue his amazing kill streak.
Twins. yyyeaaaahhhhhh. You win this one. I can't defend these for the Twins, amazing camper/tunneller, but I LOATHE that type of play style.

There's nothing civil about going to someone and saying "Your identity makes me uncomfortable so I'm going to do everything in my power to ######### and scream about you not being represented because I cannot change myself."
As I said, just comment on my wall if you want to continue this discussion. But, reading that, it just seems like some [BAD WORD] decided to bait at the worst possible time with the worst possible subject. The only time I truly seen someone stood up against something was when I made a post asking for a trans charm, which you can find. It wasn't because they dislike trans people, it was because they think trying to represent a whole community with a silly coded item felt like a meek insult. But it wasn't anything hostile or truly negative

@Sabraiz said:
I won't say that no killer needs a nerf, but I will say that nerfing at the current state of the game, bad matchmaking, should be avoided until SBMM, if they ever finish it, is completed.
Currently a lot of the "imbalance" is not caused by killers/survivors being overpowered, but how useless the current rank and matchmaking system, the difference between a rank 1 and a rank 1 can be like night and day.
And no, no killer should be nerfed just for casual players. By making killers unable to compete against the good players you will ruin the game even more. Or maybe you like the long as survivor queues? Because they will get worse, no one will want to play killer if all you are is a toy that can only follow the survivors around.
Here a controversial opinion, casual is not an excuse for not improving and learning to deal with new stuff.
As someone that plays both survivor and killer, the game would be extremely boring if all killers were the same.
And thirdly, no we don't need more pallets on the maps. A balanced map shouldn't be 100% safe and catered to survivors, there needs to be risky zones as well.
But honestly, try playing Killer past rank 20 and see how fun it is for killer to chase survivors on some maps where you can chain together endless tiles, for example the middle part of Suffocation Pit.
I personally don't think people who only play one side should constantly make threads on how overpowered and brainless killers are.
Van is a bait poster. Imagine Sluzzy, but more... aggressive. Not a fun aggressive either, trust me.
-
I.. your post confuses and scares me...
-
Fair enough, his playstyle can feel rather slow compared to Michael. Pig can be a pretty decent loop chaser if you know how to use her ambush properly, takes some time, but it's highly rewarding
-
God I absolutely hate bait posts. Damn you.
But, Spirit could use a slight blemish to make her counter not a guessing game. I'm personally fine with Nurse ever since her rework, but I can see why people could say her

You might feel like it's a waste, but as someone who's played quite a bit of Nemesis (and someone who mains tf out of Pyramid Head), the sooner you get that +1 Meter, the sooner you can start hitting more risky shots and down people faster. I can't tell you how many times that +1 Meter has gotten me a hit. The sooner I get it, the faster I can get to work.
I played 3 matches without Marvin's Blood, and I didn't get to Tier 3 until at least 3 gens (once 2 gens) left. When I run it, at most 1 gen gets done before I get Tier 3. Not to mention that hitting one Survivor twice gets you into Tier 2, which the ability to break walls/pallets is a must on him.
I also do play a lot of Nemesis haha, but how I usually get it rather quickly is to.. well. Not spam it, I make an actual estimate of a survivor is gonna do and I whip them for it, I don't try to play like Indiana Jones.
But something that definitely helps me is if I see a zombie in particular who has not spotted a survivor for a good while and I know it's safe. I'm eating them. They're useless right now, I'd rather play some RNG on a god spawn instead of them just aimlessly walking around praying that they find someone. But, yeah. If you pick and choose your whip attempt, you'll still reach tier 3 rather quickly. Though, I completely understand why you would think that

I generally play all the killers since I can't really ever only play one. As of right now, my favorites are Nemesis, Demogorgon, and Wraith. Only killers I don't touch are Hag, Spirit, Ghostface, and Pig.
Ah, Pig is a lot of fun though, same with Ghostface. Pig if you're a huge fan of RNG and Ghostface if you hate survivors. I'm kidding haha

I do like that idea since the zombie movement speed addons are often what I run alongside blood. Though I really hope Nemesis just gets an addon pass in general for the mid chapter.
An addon pass? Sorry, my dbd terminology still sucks, I assume that's when they look at his addons and decide what needs changing?

Well, they address it to Blight, and there are a few complaining about mobility, though they're in the minority. Technically, people that think Nemesis is too strong are a minority. I think survivors just hate ranged killers in general TBH.
Fair enough. I think Nemesis is the good kind of range though, he feels like a lot of fun to play against

I feel your pain, I really do. Is there any other killer you're thinking about trying?
-
Yeah, dead hard feels kinda strange. It's a better version of mettle of man, make it a spot dodge if you absolutely want it to be nerfed.
But the no mither one? That's actually pretty good, except for the speed progression... on gens. Dear Christ we don't need any more of those. But, healing and unhooking feel pretty nutty and the good kind of nutty.

Not close to being accurate. Yes, they can attack at roughly the same amount of time, but that's where the comparisons end. Deathslinger has very little cooldown by canceling his aim, whereas Nemesis, while not having one as brutal as Huntress, has one. Nemesis has a harsher cooldown for missing a hit, but a better one for landing a hit relative to Deathslinger (though he doesn't need to reload). Deathslinger can hit you through most small gaps. Nemesis is largely limited to shots that Huntress can land. If anything, Nemesis is an ultra-close range huntress with better handling but far worse snowball potential. We're really going to complain about every killer that comes out that's not a complete potato aren't we?
Yes, apparently we are.
Though, surprisingly I don't see that much hate for Blight even though he's S tier. Thank God for that
-
I love it too, but it kinda sucks. Hear me out, during early and mid game, awh such a beautiful addon. Chef kiss
And that's it. You only get that addon's intense power during that part of the game, nothing else. It becomes a waste of an addon slot, something that's kinda rare for killers. It's still really good and it makes me happy, but it kinda needs something else so it just doesn't completely make Nemesis' addon slots only one. Personally that's me, but they could also add
-Slightly increases Zombie's movement speed
That way it doesn't just become a waste later on and you can still get some use out of it
-

The zombie for the free sprint burst.. Yeah. That's the latest rage. Didn't take long for it to get abused.
Ah, that's the issue. I did that day one. It can get annoying. Personally I can understand zombies giving a sprint burst or otherwise you'll eat a second hit rather quickly if you're unlucky. But, that's really luck or a survivor being stupid. Really, the biggest buff he can get is to remove the contamination sprint burst effect
-
That's a fun idea. I like it, personally I'd just be happy if the bloodpoint score was 64,000 instead of the normal 32,000. #########? Kinda, but one stack of BBQ or WGLF guarantees it to be +100,000
