Oh wow, that actually looks really nice

I have a new one for you, if you're interested.
XxMadxSnipzxX
They're extremely curious

How do you do that?

Usually, when people suggest mimic-type Killers, they refer to a Killer that can turn into other Survivors, which obviously can't work due to SWF. Turning into a Prop-Hunt style Killer is interesting, but considering that a Killer often has to be on the move because they're on a clock, I'm not sure how viable that would really be. It's basically like basing a Killer around a variant of Insidious. You don't really have the time to frequently just stand still and wait for someone to walk into you.
Then disguise as a generator and the moment someone touches you they become exposed. I'm just joking, I agree with what you said
-
Hmm.
At this point? Nothing.
Edit: For other reasons, I was extremely happy for license killers being entered I'm dbd. But, well... I've invested too much time

When did you buy it? Before or after the link?
Be honest
-
I'm certain it does, I remember it happening to two survivors on a gen. It could be a glitch or I'm remembering wrong
-
Honestly? Just fix survivor spawns and some tiles. That's it
-
I'd say have a side hobby while you wait, I've been drawing while I wait. I know it's probably not the right answer you're looking for, but balance is important

Ok so...here's something for some of the "Oh Nemesis is OP!" folk here. Regardless what -YOU- personally think about him, he is an actual broken killer, and by broken I mean his kit is not functioning properly at all. Allow me to explain.
A portion of Nemesis' power, is that he is supposed to inflict the hindered status effect to the survivors when he slaps them with the tentacle for the first time, the actual infection hit. However, you would never know this for a couple of reasons. The first is the obvious, survivors are given a speed boost when they're hit the first time with tentacle. The speed boost alone negates the hindered effect right out the gate. Hard to really capitalize off of the status effect you just applied to someone when they've run off with a case of the zoomies halfway across the map. So ok, now you're gonna say "just take away the speed boost and it's fixed right, working as intended?" You would be wrong again.
The way it works right now in game, is that the hindered effect when applied is actually only applied for such a RIDICULOUSLY laughable amount of time.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/DF6X40IE6PEU/screenshot-20210617-154708-chrome.jpg
When infected the survivors only are afflicted by hindered for 0.25 seconds. "Oh but without the speed boost you can still cover some ground on the survivor for that small amount of time right?" Wrong again! You see when Nemesis connects with his tentacle he still has to go through a cooldown attack animation for 2 seconds. Now, I don't know about you but according to my math, you are still in your cooldown animation by the time the hindered effect wears off, meaning that even without the speed boost you would still lose ground and survivor will have again put some distance between you, without having taken ANY damage and with you never being able to capitalize off of a portion of your own power with the applied status effect.
So literally no matter what you do as a player, due to the mechanics of the game you will never be able to make use of this part of your power or benefit from it at all. That right there is an actual example of a broken and useless power, and that's not even pointing out that being infected has no real negative consequences for the survivors. They obviously aren't affected by hindered with the initial infection slap. They are not prevented from healing, or heal slower, or have any sort of negatives applied to skillchecks or any of their abilities. Instead...they cough...sporadically....VERY sporadically. Again, there is no reason outside of the tentacle being able to damage them now, for them to want to cleanse themselves. Now unlike Plague who does have a similar effect of infecting others, her infection actually gives you a reason to want to cleanse it. The longer you have her puke on you, then over time you'll eventually be broken and unable to heal. Plus you are coughing way more and vomiting as well. For the survivors being infected by Plague is something you want to avoid or get rid of ASAP because of the effects it has on you, and what it can eventually grow in to. That is not a factor for Nemesis and in fact vaccinating yourself right now from the T-Virus actually punishes Nemesis for using his power because now he has to hit you three more times with his power, and again survivors get yet ANOTHER free speed boost from the initial infection hit that causes no damage.
So yeah, his power is indeed very much broken and I'm guessing not working anywhere near as intended. At least I hope so, because if any of this was intentional then that only makes me wonder ######### BHVR was thinking? What was the point of giving him a status effect for his power that he can never capitalize on? What was the point of making it so that survivors can get free speed boosts multiple times in game just by vaccinating themselves? None of that makes any actual sense. I really hope BHVR fixes him sooner rather than later.
I agree with some of these, personally I wish we could just test some of these changes ourselves. I personally think removing the sprint burst upon infection is just fine and covers.. I'd say a good portion of the issue. But, it's hard denying what you said, even then if you remove it, it'd just be the same as hitting them normally except needing to hit one more time.
I think a neat feature would be if his tentacle could rip people off of objects, much like a grab. Probably never gonna happen, but it would be incredibly nice.
Or have tier three be more threatening.
Like multi hit as if the tentacle was lashing out or if they're not infected and you whip them they get infected and wounded.

Just learn to play him. You can’t just be lazy and demand buffs on already op killers. That is why you see so many red rank killers without skill. They never had to improve or practice. It’s a huge issue in dbd now, as you can see on this forum.
"Already op?"
I'm not gonna say you're wrong, but I'm curious as to what makes you say he's OP.
Or did I misread that?
-
The whole day? Just after a day of playing you decide he's bottom tier comparable that of Trickster who's by all accounts the worst killer in the game?
I'm gonna have to politely disagree, he feels good. A tad weak in some aspects, personally his tier three feels pretty good, not sure if I'm imagining things or not, but it seems as he recovers much faster from his whip in tier 3.
So it feels decent, yeah he could use a slight buff. But, I would not say he's bottom tier. At least he has to hit a survivor three times at most unlike Trickster who has to do it 18 times
-
Take it from Bubba main, he's balanced haha.
It may not seem like it, but he's pretty spot on in terms of balance, something that's a rare treat for killers.

Yeesh maybe if they decided to do the optimization they promised in march 2019 that wouldn't be an issue
Maybe, they could still be working on it. But even then that won't guarantee it would allow more zombies
It doesn't happen just over night or within a year haha
-
I'm thinking that it's just a temporary thing. It will count as a stun later, I imagine when they update the game next time
-
Apparently zombies make a lot of issues, and the safe cap is two maximum in order to prevent even more frame rate issues
-
Just use camaraderie, it pauses the timer for half a minute, allows your team to do more work.
That's the closest you'll ever get to the pause the timer on a hook. Other than that, I recommend looking up some tutorials on how to play. I had to when I started reaching high ranks. It gets stressful from time to time

This discussion is solely about rescues, not chases. The only time it's easy to blind a killer is when they're vaulting or breaking a pallet because they literally cannot look away. Any decent killer will evade your flashlight attempts otherwise. And the time to blind can no longer be modified by add-ons like it could be years ago, so killers have plenty of time to react now.
There's also been cases where that doesn't seem to matter/happen.
I can't even begin to tell you how I've been blinded with 95% of my face covered by a tree. Not every killer has the luxury of downing a survivor next to a wall to prevent a blind as well. Caldwell and MacMillan are two good examples off the top of my head
-
Make it not work on stealth killers. That's all.
It's not strong
Or remove the extra speed in vaulting
Which I know people will not support.
That's the only nerf I can see. One of those two.

What, and you think flashlights in their current state are a good idea? Why's it matter if a killer is blinded 0.25 seconds earlier than their pick-up animation ends? They're still blinded. It makes no sense not to force a drop.
Plus, any killer worth their salt faces a wall every time they pick up a survivor anyways, so blinding them is out of the question 90% of the time. And if a killer doesn't like being blinded, Lightborn and Franklin's Demise exist.
Keep in mind flashlights can have addons that can allow the killer to be blinded longer. Your math is off, so yeah. Right now they're fine.
If you're on ps4, I will gladly teach you how to flash light save, it's not difficult at all, I promise you.
You start the blind when they have the survivor half way up their torso, when you finish is when they drop the survivor.
-
No.
Survivors don't need to have an another buff that allows them to easily power trip a killer.
I know I sound rude, but that is a bad idea.

There doesn't need to be a cooldown a perk that requires actual skill to use shouldn't punish you for doing to well. Same thing for the new perk you have to kick multiple gens then down a survivor for a regression less than surge and a lousy incapacitated timer honestly should be 20-30 seconds and has a cooldown on top of it for what?
I suggested that because of.. well. Huntress.
-
An awesome buff for Surge would be allowing it to work when you down a survivor with any means. Give it a longer cooldown if they're worried about balance, but it would be really nice

It was a last second change when they realized vaccines are in the game too. Probably forget about changing description yet
Wouldn't it make more sense to give these items a proper ID? That way Franklin's can't accidentally destroy any vaccines or Leon's flashbang by accident. They have a special frame and code description, so it wouldn't be too hard.

"Nerf Barbacue & Chili"
I think I'm gonna have an aneurysm.
I get what you mean about Distortion needing to be buffed, but seriously? Nerfing Barbacue as a trade off for Distortion not getting any love? It's primarily a bloodpoint tool, it doesn't sound or look like it, but it is. You get more uses out the extra bloodpoints than the aura reading. If anything, make We're gonna live forever have a better side tool. Currently it heals survivors 100% while they're dying. That's kinda rare to come by, I think healing a survivor while you're injured should let you see the killer's aura for like 3 seconds. But, even then that's strong.
-
You and I are in agreement. This.. just feels wrong. How does a supposed bad PTB be the greatest thing about this upset? RE did not deserve that
-
@Crowman said:
I don't think they updated the perk's description, but the changed effect should be live.
That's extremely disappointing to hear.
-
I'd much prefer Fantasy, but no objections if a Sci-fi chapter comes out. I'm not a fan of sci-fi, but almost all my friends are so it's whatever
-
They're a gamble, a fun gamble. One time I got smacked by a zombie on purpose just to give me that sweet sprint burst to an exit gate
-
Yeah, that's normal. Anytime a new killer is released you aren't finding killer games quickly, but survivors games are pretty quick.

Console, I'm thinking it's lag, but I've been rather good on lag when I don't play as Nemsis, but honestly. It could still be lag
-
Ugh. I am so upset. Why? Why'd you do that Bhvr?
-
I agree with you, this update has been incredibly stressful on everyone.
First the Demo addon Nerf
Then Franklin's Demise nerf
Then RPD removal
Then the ridiculous cosmetic idea they have. They could have literally removed the head and allowed people to buy the chest and legs, but no. I can't defend that, BHVR. I love you, but that was scummy as hell.
Then the incredible console lag associated with him, I can play the game perfectly fine if I don't play as Nemesis, but when I play as him, everything lags badly.
They had two steps forward in the PTB, it was really good, then somehow they got loss and took six steps back.
I am pretty upset as well. You're definitely not alone Pulsar
-
So, I wanna say something. This change is almost no different than the original Franklin's. So it feels, strangely familiar and that's not a good thing
-
@Mandy said:
We've not released when the key/mori changes will be live. They're in a future update and I can't give any more information than that at this time I'm afraid.

Yes. People are mad for that reason.
I was using for Franklin for key lobies but now i have to just dodge them. But survivors can change character last second, so i still can face with key lobies.
Ouch. I can see the issues now.
Well, yeah that's pretty bad. But, this seems like a huge decision, a very big one. They have to be aware of Keypocalypse, usually when they do something extremely big and drastic, they have some kind of plan at works. I'm not defending, but this is just based off experience I've felt noticed in the past. (Could be wrong though)
