Tbf tuning guide and primer bulb were kinda OP.
Otherwise though he was fine
I meant his base. I've only seen a few people complain about his addon changes.

I run:
BBQ- For bloodpoints and cross map hatchets
Shadowborn- Makes Huntress easier for me
Iron Maiden- Reload faster, and get guaranteed info if they hide from BBQ
Corrupt Intervention- Allows me to chase and get 2-3 hooks before a gen is done.

Mixed, even had some impressive teams full console. I think the problem is that console has TOO many survivors and very few killers (probably due to performance and controller issues), so the matchmaking really turned out weird after crossplay was implemented.
Yup 100%
Survivor queues on PS4 would take up to three hours at night, and PS4 has a much bigger playerbase than Xbox, so I shudder to think about how bad they had it

Not sure if this is the point though. The people turning off crossplay on PC happen to try a lot harder and have a lot of experience than the average crossplay on game (no matter whether the players faced are on PC or console) from my experience so far.
I've played with and against many tournament players too, it's as if they all go on crossplay off to practise when not in KYF.
They try harder on average, but they aren't better. In my experience, we console players tend to not fully try until we're forced to, while PC players are fully trying from the start. A console player and a PC player fully trying are at about the same level.

I'd like to agree, but even killers who don't play badly get all 5 gens done against them.
True, but they should've gotten at least 2 kills by that point. Endgame isn't a tool for killers, and it shouldn't be made into one

Stretched res looks like dog ######### and the only people that use is are sweaty esports wannabes that will use anything at their disposal to cheat within the parameters of the game.
I've also seen brightness thrown around and I'll give you a simple fix for brightness on console, turn up your TV brightness and adjust the color and saturation settings. Every modern monitor/television has color and brightness settings built into them that can be adjusted.
It's still an advantage, and more people than you would think use it.
I never said anything about brightness
-
No. If you got to that point you lost. Why should survivors be punished for you playing badly?

What's funny is before crossplay matches as killer used to be much more challenging. PC players on average just tend to be better than console players. I'm not saying that there aren't some cracked console survivors/killers out there because I know there are it's just something to hold the people who want more challenging matches up until MMR releases. MMR was initially supposed to release with crossplay, but the devs messed it up so they had to delay the release of SBM.
They don't tend to be better, they tend to try harder. I noticed no difference between before and after crossplay. The average player is hot trash, regardless of platform.
-
You ruin the game for 4 other people. That's why it's bad
-
Oh, do you mean something like punishing them for playing well?

Wouldn't that just be a unfair disadvantage rather than an unfair advantage
since the pc players had nothing to do with those issues, ergo its something wrong with the game, ergo its a disadvantage on your side rather than an advantage on theirs if an advantage is not having to deal with X problem its not an advantage, its a disadvantage the devs have to fix, and you seem to be directing how you feel about it at the wrong people
They do have the advantage of stretched res, which we can't use.

Even some of those on the next gens have reported the beginnings of the same frame drops here on the forum. So it is not universally fixed.
Interesting

It's not because the nerf was too hefty, but because it shouldn't have happened in the first place

At this point they most likely have looked into the issue. But I believe this has something to do with the old hardware on the base previous generation consoles the original ps4/xbox one. And if that is the case then most likely they can't really do nothing about it. Because as I said I have an pc that had 8gb of ram and I would experience the same thing lag, and low frame rates and freezing. That was until I bought another piece of 8gb ram and installed it make it a total of 16gb ram... and what you know I no longer had those issue on my old pc. Because again I played this game on the ps4 pro, not the base ps4 the mid-upgraded system and never sufferer from any lag/freezing issue. and my brother still plays it on the ps4 pro and he never suffers from lag.
Next gen consoles fixed it, but PC players still do have advantages
-
No. The community is too small to divide queues like that. Also, that would be really unfair for people in quickplay.
For example, a sweaty 4 man SWF against a rank 20 baby trapper, or a Nurse wanting an easy game against a rank 20 baby Dwight.
-
That Bubba nerf is ludicrous. He downs 4 people and then has to be an M1 killer the rest of the game? That's just plain dumb.
Hillbilly is fine as is imo, but to buff him, the best thing to do would be
1.) Remove Overheat
2.) Bring back old add-ons, but don't allow charge time reduction to stack.
That's all he needs.

Ah, gotcha. Glad to hear you never had to experience players looping you for several minutes after the last gen was done and the Gates were open for unrequested 'practice'. Survivors can still choose to 99% the Exit Gates, so in effect nothing has changed unless it was the Killer that opened the gate, or only a subset of Survivors wanted to chill with the Killer, Your complaint about Blood Warden is valid in that regard, and the UI timer rather than just using context clues of the audio/environment is a bit more than needed. (EGC audio itself is subjective, but agreed, it could be improved)
If you're getting looped for several minutes that's on you

Not everyone has stretched resolution, or better frame rates. And this to me seems like and previous generation hardware issue since it seems this is affecting base Xbox one, and the base ps4. Because I played on the ps4 pro and never experienced lag issues. And on my old PC which only had 8gb of ram, it would lag a lot as well.
I never experienced them either, but I've seen a lot of clips. We're the luck ones.
Yes, PC will typically have better frame rates. And stretched res is a choice for PC, but completely impossible for console.

I’ve always had the impression that BHVR wants us to grind, wants us to hunger for more BP so that we can actually be engaged or excited when they offer us double BP weekends or new ways to earn BP (like Tome).
Yet…
Why is the Prestige mode so lackluster? I would think BHVR would want us to continue to prestige and continue the grind and have a semi-substantial reason to do so. Right now all we get is bloody clothes and a minuscule almost non-existing percentage bump to rare nodes. The worse part is these bloody outfits mean absolutely nothing, because they are bought with BP through playing ‘any’ killer. You can have a full bloody outfit on Trapper and have never played one game with him.
Nobody sees a bloody outfit and is suddenly intimidated by the amount of BP spent. It has no meaning. If a Killer had to personally earn BP individually to Prestige, that would be different. At least then you’d know the killer put ample time and effort on a Killer and should be a notible clue on how difficult/serious this Killer might be. Might even be a new ‘calling sign’ that Killers who ignore cosmetics and choose to wear all bloody outfits are playing seriously and not trying to meme or farm.
I just don’t get it…I’m assuming they don’t care because with the addition of every DLC, tomes, and season pass, they already have enough now to completely ignore prestige.
Sorry about the rant, it’s just every game that has prestige mode, has always made the grind a showcase of time/skill in some way. DBD manages to miss every mark in a fulfilling Prestige mode and it kind of annoys the hell out of me.
Most people try to talk me out of Prestige. I see the general community posts of ‘it’s not worth doing’. Take a HINT. Maybe throw Prestige a bone in your next big update. Sheesh.
I actually did only use bloodpoints I earned on the character I played while prestiging my killers. It provided experience and it was fun

What do you mean unfair advantage?
Also it is possible to have cross play turned off as a steam user at because it's divided by specific platform I think, there is also window users we can't forget that. But during the day getting match is quick, at nigh however it takes way too long without cross play. But some people that I know do have cross platform off on PC, since according to them consoles on average play worse.
Better frame rate, stretched res, etc.

Again, not applicable to this situation and again you're not giving any proof, but just making a fleeting statement.
It's wiki. It's general consensus that it's not 100% accurate most of the time.

So after playing this game for over a year. Reaching rank 1 on both survivor and killer I’ve come to ask if there’s any way to change the way to earn adept killer in dbd?
Currently the only way to achieve adept on any survivor or killer is by completing a match with only their respective teachable perks. This is extremely easy on survivor as it’s a team effort, and that the only requirement to achieve adept survivor is to escape the trial.
However on killer it’s much more difficult. You have to earn a merciless victory with only your three unique perks, this sounds simple enough but nowadays this is highly difficult to accomplish. The meta has evolved to finishing gens in record time and survivors having many tools and perks to at their disposal to escape. Most killers without any perks that slow gen progression get gen rushed and to earn merciless you have to prevent them from being completed.
The other aspect is the chaser emblem. If survivors don’t heal you get less points from that category. The main argument I’m trying to make is that the requirement to earn adept killer is significantly harder than survivor. Almost night and day. I have an idea on how to change it.
I feel the best way to make this easier for killer is the earn a certain amount of blood points in the trial instead of the merciless. I would cap it to 30,000. Since a perfect game for a killer is 32,000, this would be a fair point to reach. This way the killer is encouraged to do what is base line to want the most points, finding and chasing survivors, hooking them, popping generators, applying pressure and so forth. This also prevents camping and tunneling as they are not granted more blood points by doing so.
Thoughts? I’d like to hear feedback on this. Thanks for taking the time to read.
No. Some killers just don't earn enough for that. Just make it a 3k or higher to get it.

While I doubt that, since people keep saying that without actually providing any substantial proof of it, that wasn't the question.
It's not that op had found some information that they wanted to double-check whether or not it was correct. Op didn't find easily accessible information in the first place, as it's front and center on the twins' article on the wiki.
Again, as wiki isn't always accurate, it's a safer bet to just ask on here

You don't need to fully explain, you can just say what they'd do or even what they'd be called.
I think I'd have a perk that relates to healing, and maybe a generator perk that works when you are the only person doing generators (maybe it could also work when only at max half of the survivor team is on gens, rounding down) and maybe a looting perk as well!
Quincy Volstandig:
When the killer tries to hit you, grab their arm, kick them in the nuts, legsweep them, and finish it off with a metacarpal takedown. They are NOT getting up after that.
######### Slap:
Enough said in the title 😂
Weeb: You have the ability to bore the killer to death by talking about Bleach
The name of the first one I literally stole from Bleach 🤣. It's a technique I created in Karate when I was still reading the Bleach manga. I call it Quincy Volstandig because it's an instant one shot IRL. I made it for street fights. If someone tries to punch you, you grab their arm to prevent them from connecting with you. You kick them to stun them for a short while while you position for the legsweep. You legsweep to get them completely under your control. Finish it with a metacarpal takedown to break/fracture their arm, or to just cause a lot of pain. This is all you have to do to win a fight if they punch at you, so I named it after a different one shot that has a cool name.

Lol that was a good one, I was getting ready to come on here and talk about how boring she feels to play for me at this point I've mained her for years I'm trying to force myself to not play her anymore because I can't remember the last time I got less than a 3k with her , so far it's been about 3 days of not using her and I'm currently trying to decide which killer I want to start maining between Demo, Huntress, or Twins.
I've also mained her for years and I love her playstyle. Same reason I love Blight. So if you like her playstyle, but want an outcome not already set the second you pick your main, use Blight.
Also, I was not kidding about this. I was watching some old OhTofu videos on Nurse, and holy hell did her hand look so much better before it was changed. I never used that outfit until recently, so I didn't know how great it was, but now I want to play with her old hand.
