It's not too rough, overall survivors are very strong, it's just based on skill. Decisive Strike can be forced by jumping in a locker and really is only fully countered if you're downed immediately off the hook without opportunity to run at all. It's still very powerful, can waste killer time, and is run by a lot of people now. Deliverance can occasionally misfire if you get hooked first, but in that case just play stealthy early game. Not hard to do.
-
3 without considering add-ons or offerings.
-
That was what Legion was before. Your idea would just be moonwalking Legion 2.0
-
Ignoring that you're implying DS or Deliverance are any bit useless, or that Object of Obsession and Alert are useless, there is still a lot of niche survivor perks that are good at what they do, but so many players are scared of benching their meta perks that they never branch out at all. Same goes for killer, though those change on a by-killer basis.

But that opportunity is almost as rare as downing multiple smart survivors with one swing of a chainsaw, you’ll get MUCH better use of DH or BL and I’ve faced people using this combo, it isn’t broken.
Well, to each their own opinion I suppose.

BL and DH both have the potential to give you more.
While HO also has potential to force a survivor drop. It's just as powerful as other exhaustion perks, and mixing two is blatantly broken.
-
The only reason head-on isn't used more is cause people crutch way too hard on their exhaustion perks, even though really it gives you the same distance
-
Break your toes.....that's a new one.
-
So what I'm hearing is theres no real proof or indication of a sequel. Gotcha.
-
Very excited for Steve Harrington. Frankly the rest of the dlc could be nerfed to oblivion and I'd still be content with it.
-
Demogorgon isn't technically a demon prince. Just named after one. Within canon it's more just an apex predator really.

Any body else think it's going to look wrong seeing a demogordan hooking victims instead of ripping them apart? No just visually, but also based on it's behavior in stranger things.
No more strange than Michael Myers doing it.
-
I'm just curious what the ability is going to be. Demogorgon doesn't have the widest array of powers
-
No one is saying the hag isn't humanoid. Also Freddy existed in his own realm too so it's nothing new on that front.

In shape yes but this is the first non human killer and it was crawling why would they do that unless they have it as a mechanic for them
That's still humanoid. Plus we don't actually know for certain if Demo is gonna be crawling or not.
-
Sorry bud, Demogorgon is humanoid.
-
Bones jangle in the distance

At least it's not Overwatch which exclusively forces you to gamble for them since it's extremely unlikely you'll get the event skin you want from earned lootboxes during the event period and getting 3000 coins takes a long time.

It's funny that people are basically saying "Hey! I want to know if this is true... you go and test it"
Stop asking the guy and just go test it yourself.
"But I can't start the game right now because work/pc busted/I have a mac/am just lazy"
If you want to know, go test it.
It's more like one guy insisting something is true that everyone knows is false. I'm not about to waste my time proving someone else wrong when I already know it's BS.

Imagine chasing someone as the Hag and suddenly another Hag pops up right in front of you.
Honestly. I just figure he takes big steps, he should be able to step over them.
-
Steve is a pretty obvious one tbh. Tho I'd settle for anyone but Jonathan.
-
Trapper shouldn't be able to get caught in his own traps. Controversial, I know.

Yeah sure make every gen last 30 minutes and see the survivor population drop to zero. Gens were 60 s when the game came out and they already increased the time massively. I never need ruin as a killer.
Well congratulations to you. Your parents must be proud.
To answer the question, If you have other means of slowing the game like Pop, then Ruin isn't necessary. It does make things easier and less stressful though, especially if you don't let yourself care when it gets busted.

I mean ST has plenty of choices to pick from in terms of locations but yeah, I want the mall. Although, I swear they said in the recent reddit AMA they weren't working on a mall map, can't remember though.
There's other areas for sure but they're either very average (most of Hawkins), or they're too vague to make anything out of (the upside down is just corrupt Hawkins). They could do that facility in season 1-2 that had the Rift, or the school in season 1. But besides those, Starcourt seems like the more likely choice considering it's the most recent addition.

It really all boils down to if BHVR wants to stay in their lane or if they just want to try and go for it and give us something super unique, hopefully it's the latter.
Let's hope. That said I'm still expecting Starcourt Mall for the map. It's the only detailed area that's also on a small enough scale to make a map out of.

Personally, when it comes to the DG or Billy as a killer I really think they're going to go with the Demogorgon. Simply because Netflix always pushes the Demogorgon wherever they can.
I would much prefer Demogorgon, and I hope you're right about it. I just know they're weird about the idea of beastial killers and Billy would be an easy alternative for them to take.
-
@joker7997 said:
God I hope not that would be very disappointing
It's a "be careful what you wish for" scenario. People begged for stranger things and now that it's happening there's a good chance it's gonna be exactly what fans DON'T want.
-
"Killers get so mad and frustrated" evidently so do you. That's just the majority of players.
-
@Jimsalabim said:
how do you imagine this map ? this upside down map
Odds are it's gonna be more themed around season 3, so probably Starcourt Mall with Billy as the killer.

It is pretty much agreed upon by most people, you're the one in the minority here.
Gonna be honest, haven't seen anyone backing you up on this. 12 year olds worshipping noob3 means very little

Ok let me know when EA knocks on your door wanting to partner with you and shower you with money to play their games for your audience.
I'm sorry you think that makes a person's opinion important.

Reaching a wider audience does make your opinion worth more. Because it is heard more.
It is literally why high viewer count streamers get paid more then those with less viewers.
It doesnt matter if they are good or not at any particular game, your avg joe dont have their platform thus he is worth less compared to someone who has the ability to reach thousands, if not tens of thousand of ppl at the same time.
If you cant grasp the concept that your opinion being heard more doesn't make it more important, then you're clearly beyond reason. Have fun idolizing regular people with some notion that they're more important.
-
Just straight up double all postgame bloodpoints
-
However you enjoy the game

Oh on top of perks, how about pallets?!? People who literally stand at a pallet for 10-20 seconds waiting for the killer to come to them... just run first and don’t waste the team pallet idiot
I love survivors who go from pallet to pallet throwing them down immediately. They always think they've ran me for a long time but it's always cause I'm using them to get rid of key pallets.
-
Getting rid of pallet vacuum was a great step.
-
Dead Hard. People use it just to avoid a hit, typically while looking behind them and end up running randomly around in an area or into things, when it has a lot of better uses. Getting to a pallet or window faster, getting over bear traps, even bodyblocking a hit by getting in the way of the killer swinging to take the lock-on but avoiding the damage.
-
Skill checks are exclusively on your end so they never lag.
-
The hell it does. It gets constant minibuffs every time they touch Legion at this point

Their opinions do mean more than your avg joe.
They reach more people then your avg joe.
They are able to influence more people than avg joe.
Why are streamers paid for ads again (playing certain games) ? and youtubers, their opinions matters more.
Reaching a wider audience doesn't mean your opinion is worth more, it means your opinion is heard more. They mean very different things. Streamers are paid for ads because they're influential and it's an easy way to target select audiences. That's not the same as ones opinion being worth more. At the end of the day they're just people playing a video game. It doesn't make them better at the game and it doesn't make them know more.

I see your point on this but Freddy is not a God-like being. He can control dreams but aside from that he is mortal in the real world. In Freddy's lore it implies The Entity was able to take him because death didn't want him. His abilities make him a 'dream demon' but he doesn't have the power to resist a being as strong as The Entity.
As for Stranger Things, it's not something I watch consistently but I got the impression that the Mindflayer, Demigorgon etc. were God-like beings. If I'm wrong then please correct me.
I think that Stranger Things and Dead by Daylight both have very unique, rich and interesting lores. I'd just rather keep them separate. Trying to merge them would ruin the feel of the game for me, there would just be too many unanswered questions/plot-holes.
Mind Flayer is more or less a god-like being. Demogorgon is an intelligent beast. That said, its namesake is the D&D Twin Princes of Hell, a demon lord.

Yes..because everything a survivor can get can be stacked 4 times..therefore it makes sense survivor reds would not be as powerful, it's not rocket science
Not to mention something benefitting one survivor DOES benefit the whole team

Wouldn’t a Spirit skin look nice on Jake?
By the pattern they listed, everyone would have a costume of the killer that released with them. Hope you're ready for bandage bikini Adam Francis and tattered rags Ace.

My god what is with the total fixation on legacy? It's irrelevant and very few people have it anyway. Bans are more than enough.
