Will dedicated servers affect hitting Ruin checks?

I’ve been getting better at hitting great skill checks, but I still miss sometimes, I mean I see some of the better streamers missing too. Is it just a matter of hand eye coordination not able to hit it 100% or is server lag some of it? If dedicated servers let us hit more often ruin will be nerfed in a way.

    I dont believe lag affects your ability to hit checks, could be wrong but I've had 200+ ping (getting away from the killer before rubber banding back into them just to get hit) but zero issues on any skill check.

    Skill checks are exclusively on your end so they never lag.
