I imagine they'll give information when they have information to give. Being impatient won't make them come faster.

I'm sure you are hmhm, but as I said..your clearly getting upset so I'll bid you adieu
Someone's not too good at reading emotions then it seems. But you do you.

I never expected the Upside Down to be a factor in the first place. Way too much effort to implement in a way that'd look appropriate.

Lol someone is upset..I take it your a survivor player...it would explain your bitter attitude towards the thought that swf needs to be taken into account in balancing..but hey man..your not worth the time needed to spell it out if your going to act like a moody teenager
Nah I'm a hag main. Nice try tho, I just don't see SWF as a big problem. But if you do then hey, good luck to you.

A really good swf group is probably 15% of the time in my opinion. It varies depending certain things. But this is my rough estimate.
That's all skill levels, not just top tier SWF groups. 4 man's alone are closer to 7% overall. Only a very very small portion of that are the god tier survivors everyone blames.

As I said. They wont be rare before long..its clear your not getting what I'm saying to you..you cannot pretend these are a 1 and 100 match occurence be cause they are not...I've seen it from both ends of the isle
No, the God tier SWF group is extremely rare. The ones you're thinking of are average players that just outplay you. And closing the gap between solo and swf doesn't mean there's going to be more god tier SWF players. But you know what, you do you. Blame your losses on someone else all you like.

Ah ah ah, not that big an outlier..and the devs are trying to boost solos to their level. So they'll be the common occurence eventually
4 man SWF squads aren't particularly common. A Team unbeatable ones that are god tier loopers are extremely rare. It's just easier to assume you got beat by 4 God tier players than by a group of average skill players that simply outplayed the killer.

You say that till you face a swf squad that knows how to loop her..her gens get done faster than any killer because her pressure is negated by essentially having no power unless you force a cleans..it isnt fun to have survivors dictate when your power works-_-
It's always about the hypothetical A Team SWF squad. They're an outlier.
-
OoO is pretty common at high tiers and really doesn't have a drawback once you're proficient at looping. It has no impact on your ability to loop so if you're not trying to be some UE coward you're not in any worse position. Unlike No Mither it has a huge benefit

people usually comment to suggest a soloution when the OP is pointing out a problem.
your approach does not meet the criteria of solving an issue
telling someone how they should play the game isn't as mature as you might think
Then keep having people DC on you, I don't care dude. Not like anyone can suggest anything to you to help anyway. If you're bringing in broken offerings, people aren't gonna wanna play. If you wanna Mori without DCs, run Devour Hope.

@Raven014 Stranger Things is not horror in any way. It's teen drama. Every death is an emotional sappy scene, every scene with a monster is an action scene, and most of the show is about romance or kids living their daily lives with an added dose of sci-fi things. If it's supposed to be horror then this world has really gone to the crapper when it comes to the horror genre. As I said before, the only scene that was even close to horror related was Barb's death, and it wasn't even 2 seconds.
@xCarrie Outfits are something not lore related, or game related. They are cosmetics, purely for looking the way you want. Ash is a survivor, I would give them a bit more leeway with that, and I believe for all intents and purposes it was MEANT to be horror. I didn't watch it, but if it was bad horror, that's a different story. A killer(or survivor) can have a sense of humor while still being considered horror, but a show can't be full comedy and be considered horror.
Sorry bud, whether you like it or not, it's still Horror. Interdimensional monster killing people in a small town is horror.
-
Not Toxic, just rude. It's the killer equivalent of t-bagging at the gates.
-
In the interim, just stop bringing Moris.

no matter how you flip it, its a free down, just like a survivor can run out MYC a killer can run out DS or BT.
It's not a free down if the killer gets it through 3 perks and good plays.
-
@StupidButTru said:

you didn't pay attention I said assuming the killer knows how to track. Most killers I play against runs Whispers, MYC, I'm All Ears, and Nurses. Which is a pretty good tracking build even if I was running urban and crouched around whispers lets him know im in the area, even if I take the survivor away from the post hooked area and heal killer just needs to go to the general vicinity, since they have increased the audio for survivor injuried state you can hear the survivor crying, if a survivor is rushing away aura is revealed. A good killer against a good survivor with that build will win, a bad killer will lose.
A good survivor knows how to loop or hide long enough to wait out MYC. Once again that's a killer getting rewarded for playing effectively and fairly. That's also a killer using 3 perks for that tactic, not 1. That's not a free down.

You're right exposed perks aren't a free kill but it's still a one shot ability that can down a healthy surivor and hinder the game. So let's set a scenario a killer is running make your choice and a survivor runs borrowed time, killer hooks a survivor, survivor with borrowed time runs in and save and killer are in promixity enough to activate MYC. Survivor saves BT doesn't activate but MYC does. That's bascially two free downs assuming the killer knows how to track immediately that's two people taken out and two people left to either save or do gens. That doesn't sound a like GOFJ Free Card? It does to me. I
The killer was long out of range for it to activate, if they get two downs out of that it's because the survivors played poorly. No matter who goes down first, they both had ample time and distance to get away and both failed. That's a killer being rewarded for not camping and survivors being punished for playing terribly. Not "free downs".

If that is the case perks that has one-shot capablities shouldn't be implemented in the game, because that's a --->free kill<----, these perks were created to counter things killers do that isn't usually rewarded, but since their nerfs killers are rewarded and therefore feel no need to change their gameplay hence stunning their skill growth.
First off, there's no correlation between exposed perks and what we're discussing. Secondly, that's not a free kill. That's a free down. 1 down, potentially one hook, out of 12 maximum hookings. Not the same as a free kill and typically either require work on the killers part or can be outright denied by the survivors. Or both. Secondly, BT and DS in their current state don't reward camping and tunneling, that's extreme exaggeration. They still punish it, they're just much less exploitable and still have counter play. Survivors playing poorly rewards camping and tunneling, that's it.

I can confirm everybody who plays survivor is just as good as noob3. Killers need big buff's.
I would start with Myers maybe start the trial in t3? Fragrent tuft as base?.....
Sounds underwhelming. Better add tombstone base too.

Sound like you might want to do some reflecting on your skills as killer also because what you're saying sound like excuses for perks which were meant to be anti-camping perks to be nerfed. The whole point of borrowed time was to prevent campers from being rewarded with bad play if you wanted to keep borrowed time from working in the endgame, you would waste it mid-game which I did plently of playing Myers. DS was a copy and paste perk from F13th which you probably knew already so blame the devs for implementing a perk that allowed a survivor a extra few seconds of survival (if you're a decent killer) only to get downed again. Most of these perks are easily countered by smart gameplay, tunneling and camping isn't smart gameplay but now with these nerfs it is now.
Camping and tunneling have situational uses, and as such the perks were never designed to be able to outright nullify them. They help alleviate the problem without giving survivors a free escape from the situation. That was the intent and that's what they do. If you consider that useless then maybe you should just use other perks. I'll continue using both myself.

They nerfed plently of survivor perks after release Jane, Ash, Laurie, Bill, just to name a few. Borrow Time didn't need a nerf Killers wanted it nerfed because they couldn't camp without getting punished for it, DS did need a nerf but not like the way it is killers can now wait out your time, Head on didn't need a nerf it was already an exhaustion perk so why nerf it again, MoM did need a nerf but not to the point the perk is crap now, like I said they could've allowed safe unhooks to gain it. Don't get me started on perks that's useless overall like Quentin's, Adam's Diversion.
Borrowed Time got the nerf it got cause it made endgame rescues impossible to stop by any means. It had no business being the way it did to begin with and to this day it's still a top tier perk. Decisive Strike was busted for a full 2 years before getting touched and it's still very good at what it does. A killer waiting out DS is a killer wasting his own time. If you're looking at meta perks and calling them weak or useless then it really paints a picture of your skill as a survivor.

@ClogWench I love how you immediately bring up MoM even tho OP never even mentioned it.
If you search the forums it is clear about who is “butthurt”... and who really wanted it nerfed to the ground.
You're right, OP is definitely talking about that OTHER survivor perk that got nerfed quickly after release. Oh wait...
-
We're gonna get a new perk, Mettle of Nan(Cy)
-
Break LoS and draw out chases. If he's focusing on stalking people, focus on genrushing. It's only OP if you play like an idiot.
-
I don't believe he survived, but that's beside the point. Steve and Nancy were the ones to take on the Demogorgon, not the adults.
-
Jonathan is obnoxious and creepy and honestly unimportant to the plot past season 1. Also he looks identical to Quinten. Steve Harrington is the poster child Survivor for stranger things outside of the kids, so it's natural he'd be the survivor they pick.
-
Get rid of Moris entirely. Or just rework them into being a mechanic on death hook.
-
I play the way I ordinarily would. It sucks for them but ideally they learn from it. If it's clear they're new I'll message then postgame and apologize/compliment them on something they did well
-
Very pessimistic. You sound fun at parties. Honestly I'm not too bothered by Demogorgons tier, I'll have fun playing it regardless. Not many killers I struggle to play well with and even if they're tough I tend to enjoy them anyway. Perks I imagine will be decent but no one will use them cause survivors tend to crutch hard on their meta perks.

Myers hangs people in the original movie. One with rope, and one a knife through the gut.
But that's just a way he killed them. It's not in his nature to simply keep someone alive.
-
Define the Badham treatment. If you mean 5 maps, I wouldn't count on it
-
This is factoring in the best killers mind you. If it's stuff like Doctor or Trapper then it's heavily tilted in survivor favor.

Yeah like I said it didn't need to be nerfed into the ground just a different requirements that was more fair.
Listen, I do think it should be buffed or fully reworked akin to tinkerer. But not right now. I think making it worthless was a good call at least for a while. After the misery it caused.

Every killer could easily counter MoM, especially Trapper, Wraith, Doctor... Only Huntress, Billy and Nurse had hard times against that perk, but nerfing it for such a SMALL percentage in the roster it's pathetic.
Dunno what you're on about. The only killers that could avoid it were Billy, Bubba, Huntress and Myers in tier 3. Trapper if he caught someone in a trap. But that's it. Everyone else has to M1.

We did have a anti-camp perk but that got nerfed to dirt (Borrowed Time)
Oh boy, yeah it's really clear what kinda survivor you are. Borrowed time got infinite uses. You can't wait out the deep wounds in a chase to force a down. It's used constantly and does its job well. Borrowed Time is fine. Sounds like you're the problem.
-
@Accorn said:

Ahh, yeah that's no bueno. Hadn't thought of that actually. Maybe a sudo M&A then? Make his terror radius about the same as the Huntress' outside of the chase, then standard 32m during? Something along those lines to prevent tunneling but give his power that bit of oomph it needs.
I think you're going the wrong direction with this. Deep Wounds shouldn't down people unless they're being idiots and just. Not mending. Legions design is supposed to force survivors to take time to mend. The time should be lengthened but have skill checks imo. Maybe prevent generator interactions or slow gen progression when deeply wounded.

I play against a lot of campers so DS is useless for me hence why I say its just my opinion, the only time DS might go off for me is during rank reset after that kuuuuput.
Well it's an anti tunnel perk, not anti camp. Either way, it's far from useless and presently still one of the strongest perks in the game.

I didn't say bring back low cd for missed attacks, lower the bar for repeated hits (tunneling), or any such thing. How is what I suggested old Legion?
I'm talking about the moonwalking exploit. You follow the blood without looking at the survivor, cutting off the chase so they start bleeding and fall.
