Most licesnses they have (maybe all of them idk) use killers from the first few movies/games. Except Freddy, but let's face it Freddy is a special sorta pain to get. So I'm going to guess it's one of the older games. Although who knows what's actually happening.

"Do Bones" doesn't work on maps like Midwich, Lerys, Hawkins, or Dead Dawg.
Plus, there's no way for me to know if all the totems are broken unless I specifically do all of them.
When the devs add a totem counter to the base HUD and NOT just perks like Thrill and the new Small Game, only then will you have a bit of truth to your "do bones" argument.
You can't just say an argument is invalid because you need the game to tell you what you can figure out on your own. Also, just because a map has harder to find totems does not mean cleansing totems doesn't work.

Sony still is not allowing PS4/PS5 players to crossprogress with pc.

Think about what you would've appreciated when you first started the game and do that.
I agree. I was lucky enough that when dbd came out on my console, I got it day one so most players were clueless. Even the players that obviously transferred from another platform because they were insanely good for starting "1 hour ago" played fair. I generally try to keep that standard in my matches where, just in case of newer players, I try to play the game as fair as possible and give people what I would have wanted. The only time I play sweaty is when I see teams with flashlights and keys and their profiles have over 500 hours.
-
I don't know much about Resident Evil, but I know who Mr. X, Nemesis, and Dimitrescu are. I'm going to guess they'll choose someone people know, even if they don't know much about the series. I'm going to guess those 3 are the largest possible with Mr. X and Nemesis being most likely.
-
This is complete QoL. Sure it makes hook suicides longer, but that wasn't the point of the change. I'm personally happy with this because I know people who get cramps or kill their space bar because of button mashing. I play on switch and on switch there are sometimes micro lags where if you're struggling when it happens it will auto kill you even if it wasn't intentional. I love this change because the game won't be able to just kill me because of a game lag issue.
-
That's an error. The title of it says it closes in a week and so does the timer on the rift. Whoever wrote it made an error.
-
I play on switch too and I get what you mean. Maps like The Game and Midwich are unplayable without turning up monitor brightness because they are WAAAAAAYYYYYYY too dark. I'm just glad the next update will NOT be a dark map. Thank god.
-
I somehow like forgot how to loop so they've been going just splendid. Mix that with the camping, tunneling, and slugging and we have a winner. I literally don't even know how I've play three times as many survivor matches as killer when I'm usually all over playing killer.
-
Twins I'm now just so used to slugging it doesn't bother me, I play on switch with crossplay off so I don't run into Deathgarden Megs, I've only ever encountered like one Spirit with stridor and I'm like "okay, that's stupid, not annoying just stupid", Blendette's are funny because they can never loop, I don't usually encounter Shocktor's, keys I don't find annoying but I've seen so many I'm just done, a perk that would have won the game not activating I usually don't have a problem with and when I do I just admit to myself that I messed up, I have yet to encounter a slightly smart switch Feng they tend to just die, if NOED activates then I'm like "well that's what we get for doing 5 gens in 3 minutes."
Honestly the Clown bottles are annoying because it hurts my eyes after a while with how it messes with visuals and I don't want to listen to my character scream and cough for like five minutes while I just get bombarded. The chase music is also really annoying so it doesn't help at least for me.
-
I feel like how Freddy is now is unhealthy for the game (unless you play in a 4 person swf who are very good a coordinating). I don't agree with every single change, but I also don't know how I'd change what I don't agree with so I'll just leave it alone.
-
Luckily I play on switch with crossplay off so the Iri Head Huntress Apocalypse has not set in yet... however after about a month Freddy disappeared for the most part because people weren't playing him (they freaking all prestiged him like me) and now it's the Freddy Apocalypse.
-
The only thing I've ever seen Yun-Jin's manage to do is try to stun with a pallet by sitting behind it and then failing miserably.
-
Seeing how all the dark maps have been practically black on switch they're so dark, I'm completely fine with a daylight set map that won't be so freaking dark and impossible to see on. Besides, like people have said, lore wise it still works because the Entity's is only effected by natural light otherwise no sort of light would be in the game and there definitely is. Also as others have said, the daytime would give survivors more hope to think that this will be their last trial and they'll finally escape for good.
-
I can see people running Lucky Break and Iron Will but not adding Calm Spirit on top of that. Just because you want to be able to use other perks.

I'd add Saloon onto that list too.
I'm glad that you feel like you don't need the totem counter, but unfortunately in my solo games it's a miracle if anyone but me does a generator, let alone cleanses a single totem. Knowing if my team are actually on totems, so I'd be able to focus on maybe gens more, or knowing they're attempting to slam gens but ignoring totems, would be so helpful to how I play. Furthermore, whenever I play killer vs solos who try and cleanse totems, it's almost an instant win because they'll be searching areas where totems used to be but were cleansed before, buying me enough time to easily win the game with PGTW value.
Most of Dead Dawg's I feel like I know the locations of because I've done multiple 5 totem builds on that map and even just having stuff like Detective's Hunch on the occasion or a map. Besides, it's not necessary every game to cleanse totems. Sure totems are popular and NOED is too, but all you need to do is cleanse the hex if there is one. In the case there's a fear of NOED, if that's still a fear far enough into the game then you probably have time to find a cleanse the totems while a single person sits on gens. You bring up a good point that not all survivors do that because there are many very useless survivors out there. I don't think having a totem counter would be the worst thing, I just don't want so many things on the HUD because clutter and honestly killers have a totem counter perk too so I don't know why survivors are making such a big deal that "We need this." I think of it as the survivor equivalent of Thrill of the Hunt. It's main effect has to do with keeping/destroying totems and gets weaker the more that's cleansed and is a totem counter.

Also, the idea that you're "forced to" is ridiculous. I always here specifically survivor mains (not killers or people who play both sides) say this
Killer main, used to play both sides equally, so congrats I'm the first.
If a killer can take up a spot for a hex you can too
But SWF don't have to, so it's nowhere near fair. I don't know how I can make this clearer, but if SWF don't have to use a perk, why should solos? They shouldn't; they shouldn't be forced to use perks to get information SWF can for free (if there's any other way to consistently and reliably get the information of locations of totems + their status whilst playing solo, at the moment of another player passing by them, let me know).
You actually are the first wow. I take that part back now. Also, solo's don't have to. I play solo just as much as swf like I said and not even as solo do I feel I need a totem tracker. It would be unnecessary clutter imo. The only reason I'd need small game is to make sure I got all the totems and I have an idea where they are like I said only if I had too much NOED or a totem challenge. Even then do I feel I actually need it though? No, just to be a little more helpful in those situations. There are only 3 maps in the game that for me personally I'd be like "Yeah, Small Game is super helpful." The two swamp maps and Midwich, anywhere else? No.
-
People want this change because NOED exists if I'm not mistaken (and other hexes). If a killer can take up a spot for a hex you can too. The end. Also, the idea that you're "forced to" is ridiculous. I always here specifically survivor mains (not killers or people who play both sides) say this. You are not "forced" to bring anything. Run nothing. Go ahead. No one will stop you. I play solo just as much as I play swf and I don't need anyone to tell me how many totems are left, I can figure it out on my own. I'm perfectly capable of that. I'd only run new Small Game as a solo if I'm been running into an absurd amount of NOED as of my last few matches or have a totem challenge.
-
I know survivor has a bug right now where you're for some reason walking/running faster unless you do certain things then it'll stop it (like falling off certain places or getting hit by the killer on purpose which are both things once we figured out how to get rid of it, they did to keep the game fair for both sides). My friend had it happen to them and they started panicking because they didn't know how to stop it and didn't want to be banned for hacking when they weren't. Maybe it's something similar?
-
I think the buff is almost bigger than the nerf. There were so many killers that completely countered BT as long as they were in stealth. They can't do that now. I wouldn't be mad if it was 15 seconds again, but I don't personally think it matters.
-
I have mixed feelings about it, but I think when it comes to how strong he was and game health they were needed changes. I personally am not going to completely judge the changes though until I'm in game because I feel like when reading how things are going to be on paper thing sound a lot better or worse then they turn out to be. Like right now I'm like, he doesn't seem nerfed that far but maybe I play the ptb tomorrow and it's like "Oh, maybe they should buff him slightly" ya know? I'm totally okay with the Borrowed Time thing, that was kind of broken against Freddy because he could just sit there and "Oh well no Borrowed Time for you."

While this is true, you have to admit Freddy had a bit too much going for him. I however don't agree with the immunity from being asleep also being added. That was a step overboard. Nor do I think dream pallets needed a nerf. Everything else is fine, though.
Same, I haven't run add-ons on my Freddy since December, and I bought him in December because that's when he released on my platform (switch). For me most, add-on changes won't effect me and I'm not so worried about a decreased movement speed when placing a pool. Decreased amount of pools from 8 to 5? Okay, I only use like 3 if needed.
-
Honestly I don't care if survivors give me pity hits or leave right away, but don't pretend like you're gonna give a pity hit then just leave. That's cold. Especially when you gen rush the [bad word] out of the killer (so basically Trickster gameplay).
-
Literally if I'm lucky I'm getting a grab once every like 500 matches or something. Grabs are like Plague, too reliant on survivor actions. It makes for a very weak and unreliable mechanic when one side's mechanic completely depends on what the other side wants to do. In this case, the brokeness which is grabbing.

SWF isn't a challenge. its just plain boring and sanctioned cheating because money..
I don't understand how an implemented mechanic is cheating? It's not like oh the devs just are ok with people cheating. They physically implemented it so people could play with friends. That doesn't sound like cheating to me if it's an implemented feature of the game.
-
I'd buff it by changing it so it activates when the last generator is done and that's it. What holds it back as an endgame perk is the extra restriction that a gate has to be open. It was better when egc wasn't a thing because doors would be open. Egc damaged it because no one opens the doors anymore WHILE someone's hooked.

There are plenty of times where there is no survivor created obsession and instead it's a killer created one and the killers still don't tunnel off hook, this already happens, the uncertainty is usually enough to stop instant hook tunneling, which is the main issue with not having an obsession.
Although that's true, they still act like DS is there because they don't know if they took off their obsession perk would the obsession still be there. So they act like the answer is "Yes" to make it easier on themselves.

Yes,and i absolutely love it because i barely get any of the crappy maps (Dead Dawg Saloon,Badham,Indoor maps in general)
After the faster 2 days it was like facing trickster, I started to hate it because it was waaaaaaayyyyyyyy too much. And just like Trickster (at least on switch) it's not stopping.

They said they haven't ruled out the possibility of introducing a map for Trickster in the future.
Considering how restricted they are by their own chapter release schedules, I really do not see it happening ever.
But who know?
Maybe a midchapter? Or just alongside another chapter?
-
When I got my latest Leatherface face I had to restart the game for the mask to appear. It didn't appear until then.
-
I haven't been playing Bubba enough lately to say for sure but I know a lot of people are having the same problems with Jake's face and one person about Dwight's face.
-
My only thing is that you painted the Lunar New Year celebration like an event when the devs literally said before the winter holidays celebration that there will be only an Anniversary and Halloween event with anything else just being a celebration that was much smaller. So they actually didn't call the Lunar New Years thing an event, they said it was a smaller celebration which holds true. People are just painting it as an event to make it seem bad when the devs said it would not be a full blown event. Like look at it as a mini celebration, seems more accurate. Look at it as an event, all of a sudden it looks terrible.
-
It's weird though. When I play with crossplay off I get sent more often to Coal Tower since the update. With it on I get sent to Wrecker's Yard and Suffocation Pit more (it more or less flips back and forth between those two).
-
This is just something funny I noticed. We all thought Autohaven was going to be a problem for Blight once the update hit but for a different reason. We thought we'd all be hitting into too many things, but in reality we're sliding off too many things.
Anyways, have the devs said anything about fixing these Blight issues? I don't remember it being this buggy in the ptb, but maybe I didn't play Blight enough or something.

@Mooks said:
They said that they will focus on those 2 ‚main’ events after the Halloween Event and the feedback of the community, didn’t they?
Yeah they did. They said in light of community feedback from the Halloween event they were taking time away from smaller events to make those more mini celebrations and have only Halloween and the Anniversary be the focuses and have those be the events.
Also, to the op, I wish they brought back event currencies if it was just a way that during the event you could gain the cosmetics for free through playing the event. Then after the event is over have the cosmetics still available for event currency up until the next chapter/mid chapter patch. Sort of like what they did back in 2019 just take the rift part out. Have all new cosmetics in the shop available for shard, ac, and the event currency. You play the event to gain the event currency and then you can buy 2-3 new event outfits with this currency for free.
-
If you choose not to play against a killer and not take anyones advice (even the mains of that killer), it's kind of hard to get better at the game and do well in matches against those killers. That's just my opinion though.

Can I have a couple lottery tickets Trickster? I'm feelin lucky. lmao

When I use ds now I think about my current situation. Is it more beneficial for my gameplay to deactivate ds and go on this gen? Or is the killer close and it might just be better to hide and see if they go after me? If I believe it'll be more beneficial to go on the gen or cleanse the totem or heal up and go for the save then I know I'm not getting tunneled. Otherwise I keep ds activated. I make this decision within 10 seconds of ds activating because seeing how ds is supposed to be used you'd know within 10 seconds if you ACTUALLY need ds.

Well this is still not makes sense. Because devs wanted make it "anti-tunnel perk" but if you have time for get heal. Then killer is not tunnelling you.
They took out what you can control because how many times has a teammate screwed you over because they started healing you after unhooking you unsafely? I know it's happened to me and the killer goes after me. They basically just made it so it can only be deactivated through things you can control to keep it at least viable if used correctly. It would be nerfed way too far if others actions also deactivated your perk.
-
@Northener1907 said:
She is not first who personally know the killer. License killer and survivors also know each other.
Not to mention Jeff and Legion knew each other.
Also, I don't understand what you mean by self centered perks? Like perks that only effect you? If so then that's also not true.
-
WHY WOULD YOU EVER SUGGEST NOED IS MY FAULT FOR TRIGGERING! OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU WOULD DO SUCH A THING!
jk jk, but that's honestly what a lot of survivor mains sound like when trying to counter argue. Personally if I'm playing survivor and noed activates I do take a bit of responsibility for it activating since I could have probably spent a little more time finding and cleansing totems. I won't take full responsibility since there are 3 others, but depending on their "role" in the match I might take more responsibility. Like if someone ran the killer around for 5 gens I'm not going to expect them to have done anything but run so I might take a third of the responsibility. Either way it doesn't matter I still take responsibility for the activation of NOED.
-
Sprint Burst, Stake Out, Prove Thyself/Borrowed Time (switches if I need one perk slot for a challenge), Fast Track
-
I can top that plus the outcome. I started playing Trapper a little over a month ago for the first time in ages and ended up with 3 objects in my match. I got a 3k with the last person only getting out cuz I lost them when they were slugged and they managed to find the hatch moments before bleeding out.
-
I'm a switch player and I stg I had 3 games in a row against the same Hillbilly doing exactly as the op is suggesting and I hate it. It's boring and a waste of my time. I know games with longer battle passes that auto kick you from a match if you afk for too long. Dbd needs to do that.
-
Since the patch occurred (I also play on Switch), I've seen the game freeze a total of once for maybe 2 seconds and that was 15 minutes ago.
