I'm on switch so I see a lot of the same people over and over again so I generally KNOW the swfs, I only dodge as killer if I see one of the better swfs and one of them has a key. As survivor, never while playing solo. Only lobby dodge as swf if someone is very adamant about it or the game kicked someone out of the party.

I'd say soon. There's very few realms left that haven't been graphically reworked. Haddonfield, Swamp, Red Forest, and arguably Hawkins.
(I say Hawkins is part of the old group of graphics because why would they have gone new school graphics, back to old school graphics for Sanctum, and then continue with new school, they would have stayed old school through Sanctum and then started graphically updating imo)

The devs said that they want to give each killer their own music, but that they can't guarantee or promise that every killer will have unique music.
I know this is true, but I would love it if they spent a midchapter just doing things like bug fixes and pure aesthetic and also put in chase music for all older killers who don't have it. I made a post a while back where I was talking about stuff like this and saying based off of what the devs had said we are owed music for Wraith, Nurse, and Bubba (also Freddy if we're being really greedy, I already thought Nurse was kinda a stretch).

Not a legacy owner, but here's the thing.
I heard a few months ago from someone the idea that each platform, when dbd released on those platforms, should have had their individual version of legacy for the same amount of time that steam had it available to them and let players get their platforms version of legacy at the time of it being available. So you wouldn't have what we know as legacy, but something similar.

I believe so, I'm not a huge re fan, I've never played the game but I did research, and I mean a ton of research to keep up. Since the last dbd anniversary logo was revealing the new character (the 4 looked like a pyramid, so ya know), I think it's safe to assume that the number 5 has to do with the new killer, maybe it's their weapon, or the 5th game will be the main focus of the dlc. Many people think it's going to be characters from the re8 game because of an Easter egg. In some part of the game, you can hear Meg's scream from the og trailer. I believe it's incorrect. Just because Meg's scream is featured in the 8th game, it doesn't mean that the chapter will be based on that game. I believe that since it was their first collab, the resident evil company decided to add an Easter egg or two on their game referencing dbd, so since this was their newest game, it's the only one that can have these Easter eggs. I could be mistaken tho
Something tells me they aren't going to pull the same stunt as last year for the main hint towards the killer. That would make it too easy because it would narrow down the list by a lot.

If any do, it'll most likely be legendary skins.

It's literally the worst 5 maps in the game, if they had cross progression I'd only play on the Switch just so I would never have to play in that dumpster fire of a realm.
If a game you now love came to your platform, you've been playing it since day 1 on your platform, you finally have access to everything that was for a dlc you couldn't obtain up until over a year after the release, but you couldn't have access to the map still because it was bugged, you'd be kinda mad too. Even if they were pretty bad maps.

Yeah and it's always just the five Badham maps that nobody likes.
Get Switch, Badham doesn't exist lmao

It's to buy the characters because they're being featured in this tome. Even if Zarina isn't getting lore, I believe she's still featured.
-
ABSOLUTELY! 100%! IF YOU EVEN LOOK AT THE PERK YOU'RE TOXIC! OMG!
On a serious note, I don't think any perk by itself is toxic, the same goes for combos. What is toxic is how you choose to use the perks in the game.
Take for example old DS and Unbreakable, as a combo it was pretty strong, but not toxic. However, when people used it as an excuse to work on generators in front of the killers face, make unsafe unhooks, try to harass the killer because you know you have a safety net, then that is toxic.
-
I haven't seen some maps in a long time where it was chosen at random.

@Pulsar said:
They'd like to do it, but they are not currently working on it, to my knowledge.
Can I add that it's not being worked on for MOST platforms as of now, they said Steam and Stadia already have it with Switch on the way. However there is no release date for Switch to get it and nothing on the XBox and Playstation platforms. It's not complete crossprogression with some platforms not having it, but better than none having it.
-
Chances are she will come into the game as a legendary skin, not a dlc killer.
-
Every time they do this where they increase the chance, it never feels like they actually did. At least in my opinion. It always feels like I go to them the same amount.
-
- I have a few but I'd probably say Sandaconda
- Generation 5
- Zinnia's battle theme at the end of the Delta Episode in ORAS
- Absol, Haxorus, Mimikyu, Lucario, Floatzel, Typhlosion if I needed a starter or Ampharos if I didn't need a starter
- Pokemon Soul Silver
-
I've toyed with this idea myself, but I don't think it would actually work. Like some have said, there's a balancing issue with doing this and honestly, I kind of like how things are. From the outside, giving killers a power and survivors just random items seems right for this kind of game. Giving the killer a power role (in a literal way, they have a power) and survivors being treated like "skins" and all they really have are random items, makes sense.
-
It'll go live, 99.9% of stuff from ptb's goes live (if something even got changed) and the stuff that gets changed was changed in the wrong direction. (Something weak gets nerfed or something strong gets buffed)
-
I am going to assume the reason is because the color theme for that year was red/silver/black and so when they decided to put some of the killers on the anniversary posters, they decided to stick with their theming. I don't think they were ever intended to be real cosmetics.
However I was not playing at that time so I don't actually know what their reasoning could have been (I did follow stuff going on in the game though).
-
I just want characters who haven't been featured in the tomes or characters who the devs didn't give a story for to return, but with a story this time.
-
I don't think it's possible to "abuse" keys if they're being used as intended, but they are working on a change to make them weaker. Even if the first change will do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING because survivors go in packs when they see someone has a key.
-
Same. Randomly when I'm trying to log in, already in a match, or looking for a match, it will randomly disconnect me from the game saying "No Connection Error" even though my platform has full bars and is connected to the internet. It's happened to me and my friends multiple times this week.
-
You'll be fine. I play on Nintendo Switch which is already a dark console, with the devs making these maps so freaking dark, it's almost impossible to see without turning tv brightness up. Seriously, I tried normal and was just running into stuff all the time and I could barely see scratch marks as killer because everything was so dark.
Thankfully the next updated realm is going to be bright so I don't need to worry about NOT being able to see on Coldwind.

Yeah it just get's boring playing the same Killer over and over again it's like Blight, Slinger, Huntress are the top 3 I come across all the time. I heard there was a exploit with Blight is why people are picking him...
To me that's weird, I've been taking stats for a while now and actually have stats on who I've personally been running into the most. Those are Trickster (17.88% of my survivor matches), Ghost Face (6.15% of my survivor matches), and Doctor (also 6.15% of my matches).
The 3 you listed, I've seen 6 killers more than Huntress, 16 killers more than Blight (and Blight also ties with Wraith for his placement), and 18 killers more than Deathslinger (Deathslinger tying with Demo, Twins, Pyramid Head, and Plague for least seen). Which to me is strange, but different servers probably.

yeah, but legion has add-ons that do the same thing (without making bigger your TR) and Doctor also (at the right time not for all the match). if you compare it to every other perk distressing does literally nothing
Perks don't expire after a match, add-ons do

Distressing increases your terror radious, straight up useless perk
Ummmm, Doctor and Legion BOTH have powers tied to their terror radius? There are also MULTIPLE perks tied to the terror radius. Stand alone, Distressing isn't great, but it has great synergy.

Nothing - No kills
Bronze - 1 kill
Silver - 2 kills
Gold - 3 kills
Iridescent - 4 kills or 3 kills with 10+ hook states
I think it should go off how many kills given what the killers job is to be "devout" to the entity. Also I specify what it says for iridescent being 10 or more hook states because I don't think you should get iridescent if you didn't hook someone. If the person who escapes through the hatch or door (assuming hatch game) was never hooked, you shouldn't be getting iridescent, however if you did hook them and they just happened to get out, that's fine. I also specified that it's a hook STATE because disconnects and hook suicides happen. I think those should still count towards your devout (in the event they happen).
-
The devs can't just make cross progression for whatever platform they feel, they need permission from the company that owns that platform. Also, they haven't even given cross progression to switch yet and that was actually promised/confirmed at the same time as Steam and Stadia so don't get your hopes up yet.
-

Plague. I've been spit on enough to know that it won't kill you
Yeah, but don't forget she also hits you hard enough with her weapon that you fall over. I'm pretty sure the puke doesn't do as much as that. Not to mention she more or less throws you on the ground again after puking on you. The head trauma from both being slapped to the ground from a weapon and then hitting your head on the ground, you're very dead most likely. Two instances minimum of head trauma is pretty bad, especially back to back.
-
I think the only console that is confirmed to be getting crossprogression is Switch and Switch doesn't even have it yet, so people really shouldn't be asking for their platform yet until the promised platforms get it. Since, until then, the answer is probably 100% no you aren't getting it.
Also, maybe I'm different but I really only want crossprogression for my switch so I can have everything on pc for ptbs. I have no interest on crossing over to full time pc player.
-
I thought how many spawned in the trial depended on if you had a bag of some sort or not, is that not the case?

@glitchboi it is obtainable, the unobtainable one it's one with noed. About this one says to link dbd account to a bhvr one, but I heard people complaining about losing progress
I THINK they fixed that issue, but I could be wrong. It could also be an issue where they fixed it and it came back. So I don't know if people are still losing progress.

About 2,695 hours on switch (they don't give you exact time they just update play time every 5-ish hours played) and I have
14 Killers Prestige 3 Level 50 (Pig, Doctor, Ghost Face, Huntress, Legion, Nightmare, Plague, Wraith, Demogorgon, Spirit, Cannibal, Executioner, Trapper, Trickster in that order)
4 Survivors Prestige 3 Level 50 (David, Felix, Quentin, Steve in that order)
1 Killer Prestige 3 but no Level 50 (Oni)
1 Survivor Prestige 3 but not Level 50 (Yun-Jin)
5 Killers Prestige 2 (Deathslinger, Blight, Twins, Shape, Hillbilly from highest level to lowest)
1 Survivor Prestige 2 (Feng)
3 Killers Prestige 1 (Nurse, Hag, Clown from highest level to lowest)
and 19 Survivors Prestige 1 (everyone not listed yet)
So I'm still workin on it and it'll take a while, but to be fair those first thousand hours or whatever I didn't care about leveling up, I cared more about Rank. Now I don't give a [bad word] about my rank, I just want levels.

@SilentPill said:
Idk, you can win perkless and addon less at rank 1 just fine. So having a bunch of mediocre perks that have no synergy doesn’t really mean its a good build even if you are winning.
I think distressing is like the one killer perk that actively harms you unless you are doctor. There’s plenty of perks to help you track survivors that don’t give them a massive heads up you are in the area.
Also idk how anyone can play M1 killers without chase perks though. If you get good survivors who can loop you are in for a really rough time depending on the map.
Judging my ability to play this killer and my playstyle of this killer based off of rank is rude. Although you're right about Distressing, you forget that Legion's Killer Instinct also goes off of Terror Radius so it's still a good perk even if you think Doc's the only one that gets viable use out of it.
Before you come back at me about my first statement based off of my Legion's level, I literally used Doc and Pig to get Legion to Prestige 3 Level 50 because I wanted it to be faster and I'm really good with those two killers.
-
Like others have said there isn't a fairness issue in this. If you are choosing to play every individual killer to get their perks instead of play one killer and just feed the bloodpoints to another for their perks, that's on you. Getting the perks for killer is just as easy as getting it for survivor, it just takes time and for games not to be over in .5 seconds.
-
I put Alien, Death Note, and Until Dawn. I put nothing for comics because I know nothing about horror comics.
-
It's hard for me to take this post seriously, especially since you don't even know the company that runs the game. Ubisoft doesn't own dbd.
-
Cursed Legacy and Silent Hill
-
I think this is pretty interesting idea. I'd love for them to bring back the bouquets like this.
-
Do I like dying on first hook? No.
Do I think Insidious Bubba is pretty funny? Yes.
When it happens to me I'm kinda just like "You're lucky this is funny otherwise I'd rage."

My question is if rank 1 is different from 2, 3 and 4 in a way that you need more points.
No because 4 iridescents are max points. You physically cannot go higher than 4 iridescent emblems. Point values for how you gain those emblems don't increase either.
-
Rank 1,2,3,4 you need to get 4 iridescent emblems to get merciless. It can't go any higher.

I'm not allowed to use other teachables? Oh.
For me, I'd go Ghost Face for killer and Yun-Jin for survivor.
I really like stealth killers which is why I chose Ghost Face and his teachables aren't horrible. I love both Thrilling Tremors and I'm All Ears. Furtive Chase isn't as great, but I think the other two make up for it.
I chose Yun-Jin as survivor because I can't live without Fast Track and Smash Hit now. They are two of my favorite perks in this game for survivor.
-
You lost me once you said that you sat there and watched them do a generator.

Oh wow. I would love to see this video. I don't know a single Nurse main who says she took less practice than Spirit or Pig.

@Kira4Evr said:
- Survivors refuse to do gens and are just hiding.
- Killers are just leaving people on the floor and refuse to hook them.
- The killer goes AFK on the hatch or something.
The only one of those I consider holding the game hostage is the first. There's nothing the killer can really do to move the game forward without going through every inch of the map to try and find the survivors.
Killers slugging there's a timer for so the game will still end.
The killer standing on the hatch... PLEASE. Go work on a generator. If they're wasting their time on the hatch you can still move the game forward. You still have the ability to do so.
I understand it's just your opinion though.
-
It's such a weird idea and I love it for that reason. It would be nice if you could do something with skill checks/gens while repairing the generators.

Strongest: Nurse
Weakest: Twins

I completely agree with this idea. 100%. PLEASE BHVR
