I’m sorry to hear that :(
I know the feeling in general when a email issue has prevented me proceeding with something important.
Are you an iPhone user by the way? Is there a chance the password can be found in the ‘password’ settinghttps://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/VUR4JGXZESB1/img-7461.jpeg
I’m guessing there is an Android equivalent to this as well but sadly I’m not familiar with the steps on it.
Not sure what other options there may be but I genuinely hope it works out somehow :(
I'm fairly certain that this isn't an issue on my end, though. I do not ever use any emails aside from the 3 I listed to them, and none of them were it. They did not reply when I gave them my mother's email address (which also isn't something I would have used, but I threw it out there, just in case)
There is an equivalent on android, yes, but I also simply can replace the password through those emails, so I'm not worried about the password stuff, since I still have access to all three emails.
Unfortunately, they didn't reply to my email listing another possible (but far fetched and unlikely) email, or the one where I asked if providing my player cloud ID would be enough to prove that I have access to and own the account I am trying to properly link.
Thanks for being so helpful, by the way, I really appreciate it. Just wish support would stick to the issue instead of having it so that I have to basically double text to get a reply 😭😂

Hi both, I would suggest using password reset function (on BHVR cross progression website) and trying your usually used emails including the one used for your switch account possibly to see which one you might have registered with. This happened to me the first time but thankfully I only ever use a handful of emails for registering to stuff and found the one it was connected to.
in your email client, type in search option for: Dead by Daylight, BHVR or ZENDESK to see if you have the original email you might have registered with (see screenshots)

this might not be a BHVR issue, and potentially the same as forgetting a registered email.
Additionally, please make sure (important step) that the game is updated on all devices.
However in the worst case scenario, contact support:

I’m sure they’ll do what they can but please do the above steps first as this solved it for me.
good luck though! Finally received a reply and it seems to be an email issue (according to them!)
However, there genuinely are only 3 emails that I use (for the past 10+ years) and apparently none of them are the correct one. This is astonishing to me because to my quite clear memory, I have only created a BHVR account with my main email address, and like I said, I was not prompted for an email, password or username creation when BHVR originally asked for permission to create an account upon logging into DBD on my Switch in 2020. The email that was in use at the time was also the main one I still currently use, anyways
-
Still have had no luck adding my switch account to the proper BHVR account, and have received no reply from emailing support :/

good luck though!Thank you for the detailed reply, but unfortunately, when you make an account for the Switch + BHVR, you are not prompted to use any email or create any password or username. It is simply connected to your Nintendo account. I confirmed this by logging into DBD on a separate switch account that I'd never played DBD on- when you log in, you are asked to confirm your password connected to your Nintendo account, and then it creates an account for you after asking permissions, or something like that.
My Nintendo account is registered to the same email that I created my BHVR account on, and I unfortunately do not have any relevant emails in any of the 3 email accounts that I regularly maintain. They do not seem to send an email confirmation when you connect your Nintendo account to BHVR upon logging in/giving permissions to do so.
Game is updated on both platforms, too.
I've considered revoking permissions and trying again with it, but I'm nervous that it will mess up the progress I already have on my Switch account.
In any case, I did email support on Monday, but I've yet to hear back from them 🙃
Again, thank you for your reply. Unfortunate that I haven't discovered a solution yet, even with some great recommendations. Hoping that BHVR irons out a fix sooner rather than later!

You know, tunneling can be mitigated if you run OTR right?
So if you're being chased that hard, then that's a lot of time down the Drain for killers.
OTR is mitigated by camping, actually! Throw in a few stacks of STBFL and you've barely got a chance at a chase unless you happened to get hooked by some good resources. Killers who really don't like a survivor and know/assume they have OTR won't wait out BT, they'll go for the hit ASAP to get it out of the way and have an easier time downing them.
-
I've been arguing with people on Twitter all day about this- I played back when some killers were glitched to have a 2-3s stun instead of the 5s, and it was nigh impossible to get away from them. At this point, the proposed changes to DS makes it effectively useless as an anti-tunnel perk (OTR will replace it, if it makes it to live as proposed, although I do still believe that OTR is slightly weaker than DS overall in an end game scenario) because no killer gives up after a 2s stun- you're literally better off getting a pallet stun and booking it, because the killer either walks around it or breaks it. DS is just a clear shot to wherever you went, if you were able to make it to a loop in time.

A healthier survivor doing it is riskier for them because they're going from healthy to injured. The injured guy with OTR just has to mend after its all done. They can do that with BT, but they only have 12 seconds to set up an effective body block. Someone with OTR, with EIGHTY SECONDS of protection, can set up a place where they stand in a doorway and completely block the killer.
IDK how you can't see how that's so powerful.
This is the weirdest attempt at an argument I've ever seen LOL, it's literally the same as a healthy survivor body blocking and the risk is either the same or greater. If you take a hit while injured, you have to mend AND HEAL. If you take a hit while healthy, you just have to heal. Unless they both plan on staying injured, which means your point makes even LESS sense, because a healthy person going to injured just means they're injured now, while a injured person taking an endurance hit means they HAVE to spend that time mending. Also, an OTR body block IS riskier because if the killer chooses to switch off onto them, they've already been hooked at least once, maybe twice, and now they're running with their screen crapped up from the endurance bleedout effect, whereas a healthy body block is simply running while injured, with possibly no hooks taken.
The only argument I can see for this is that it's annoying to hit someone thinking you have a down on them, but then you don't, but as a killer it's part of your responsibility as a player to keep track of who you just hooked and keep in mind that they most likely have the perk.
Personally, I'm not worried about OTR because I'm sure hitting them off hook with BT will count as the OTR hit (I'd be very surprised if it doesn't, unless it's coded differently and perhaps similar to a MoM hit) so I figure that will be the counterplay for killers who are mad about it.
-
I always used up my good items before prestiging so I'm not mad. Would be nice to get something similar to Legacy cosmetics (as this is literally the same concept- they are making the leveling up easier than it used to be)
-
I don't think the timer should be reduced at all in any case.
But I do think it's kind of funny how they took away the ability to attempt to struggle off hook if you were the last survivor in the match because it contributed to "wasting time", while they never cared about how the killer can decide to waste four minutes (literally FOUR TIMES the amount of time a petty survivor could waste if he just sat on hook instead of attempting to struggle off) of time if he just decides to slug out the last survivor instead of hooking them.
In my experience, that happens far more often than a survivor just sitting on hook instead of attempting to struggle off ever did.
Anyways, that was a bit of a tangent. Idk what could be done for your presented issue, as both solutions I can think of are even less ideal (faster bleed out or a "KMS" button LOL)

@Marigoria said:
why nerf COH if you're adding this anyway?
Literally what I'm wondering. If SH becomes heavily meta, then COH is going to become pretty worthless- literally worse than self-care when it comes to the time sink it is to go through either ordeal to fully heal yourself. (It's like 32s max for SC, and then MINIMUM boon setting time+self healing time for COH. Minimum because your boon can get snuffed in the middle of your heal, forcing you to take the time to set up again)
Dark Theory also is even more of a joke than it already was (and Dark Theory is really, really bad).
I guess I can hope that they buff COH to faster speeds later on depending on how popular SH becomes, because otherwise I'm dropping it for another healing perk, maybe even Inner Healing if SH and Hex: Pentimento become a meta duo LOL
I always thought boons were a little too strong for how killers had virtually no counterplay (other than being really acquainted with totem spawns+good at applying pressure in important areas and snuffing boons) but if they're going to give them a heavy counter, then boons should be GOOD. COH is good in the current state of gameplay... but once SH goes live and possibly meta, it's going to be mid.

ok well it's still not reasonably reportable behavior 💀 I'm down for any killer or survivor to be mad or annoyed with whatever they want, but it's kinda weird when they're like "rEpOrTeD" for normal gameplay LOL

I could not care less LOL, I think Blight is one of the best designed and most fun killers to verse. He is really strong, and incredibly annoying to go against if the player decides to "play dirty", but I'd rather fight 1,000 good Blights in a row than have to go against 10 good Nurses in a row.
Now, when you get an exploit Blight, that's another story. I don't enjoy him much then. But basic Blight being played as he was designed is a great time, imo

We have made an announcement a little while ago about the current situation with regards to Switch cross progression
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/293817/switch-cross-progression-update#latest
This is so disappointing. At this point, if BHVR really can't deliver the "full experience" of cross platform progression, I think I can safely say that the majority of people waiting on cross platform progression for Switch will be happy to have their character levels, unlocked perks, and earned cosmetics, even if they have to re-buy DLC to fully unlock between platforms. I've been waiting over a year + several promised ETAs and I'm honestly pretty irritated to see what amounts to "yeah, we can't do this one part, and it's probably never coming at this point, even if we say we're still working on it".
-
I literally don't even know what could be delaying it. They said "unforeseen technical difficulties" but I just find it a little difficult to believe it's solely based on that, considering they've apparently been able to do it for other platforms, and other games seem to have absolutely no issue doing cross platform progression. It just is so disappointing that they keep delaying it after giving MULTIPLE different ETAs.
This:
does NOT sound promising and I'm honestly REALLY irritated over it.
At this point, I don't even care if I have to rebuy all the DLC I had purchased on the Switch- just give me my cosmetics and character levels, and I'll be fine. I have rift cosmetics that don't appear to be coming back to the shop any time soon (that lovely pink/blue Feng recolor...!) and I'm really annoyed that 1k hours in the game on Switch basically went to waste, after being told time and time again that cross progression was coming.
If having your full library of purchased DLC between platforms is impossible, good grief, BHVR, just give us what you can. I and many others DO NOT CARE at this point. I will GLADLY give you more money you don't deserve if I can have the other things I worked and played hard for. It's not like I haven't already repurchased half of the DLC I already bought on Switch, anyways lmao
-
I think it's a fair perk to have as long as we have killers who are basically impossible to loop. The new killer is like... kind of toxic to loop if they're actually good, so leaving is the best strategy half the time.
In any case, I don't personally care for the perk. And I probably WILL find it annoying when I play a killer who can't deal with it well, but hey. If BHVR wants to go the route of "we make killers who give you lose/lose looping situations", then it feels like tit for tat. I'll probably wish I was running it whenever I go up against a good Nurse.
The whole situation is fairly annoying when it comes to the direction they're going with chases. But I honestly don't really see the perk becoming meta, as other exhaustion perks are still just as good or better. Idk if yall are referencing Scott's video for how "Overcome is better than Sprint Burst", but the reality is that nobody is going to use Sprint burst that way. Most people take off running with SB once they see the killer approaching, thus discouraging a chase. And if the killer commits before they injure them, they STILL have to catch up to them again after they injure them. Some players even waste a little bit more time by baiting the killer into missing a swing before they sprint burst out of range of the hit, too, which is slightly more chase time, as silly as it seems to factor in. And Dead Hard still just has so much utility- Overcome won't help you avoid bear traps, dodge projectiles, etc.
I just don't think it's going to be the crazy game killing perk that so many people seem to think it will be, lmao

I know that
they simply need to code to make a proper difference on what is a dc or a crash to give or not the penality, not that hard
No, because players willfully DC over bugs, exploits, game hostage situations, etc., and it looks exactly the same to the game as DCing for no reason. There is no way to account for it properly in a Player TEST Build. Which is unfortunate for you in your case, but it is what it is, and it will never be changed.
-
PTB has DC penalties turned out because there is always a good chance that a game breaking bug can occur with new content, or someone can take the game hostage with something new. The PTB is for TESTING. It's not about "let's play and enjoy the game as normal"
They're not going to leave the penalty on and risk punishing players who may have had no choice, especially with the possibility that it could be a common or easily replicated bug or exploit.
It sucks you have to wait so long for a match as killer, but if you're that pressed about it, you should find some friends to queue up in a custom, or hit up the official discord to play with some randoms. That way, you can test to your heart's content.
-
I went against a hacking Spirit a month or so ago. It wasn't super blatant, but I had the misfortune of somehow going against him 2 games in a row (there might have been one game in between, idr) and I was absolutely convinced he was hacking- enough for me to clip both matches in their entirety and report in-game. The other survivors who stuck around for post game chat were a bit divided- some were also convinced they were hacking, others thought they perhaps were just really good. A couple of very recent comments on their profile had people praising them as a GODLIKE player. But while I've been against some incredibly good players (random talented no-names, people with thousands of hours, top level streamers, etc), even they made mistakes here and there. This Spirit had zero tracking perks and even had on the add ons that made it so they couldn't see scratch marks while phase walking. My guess was that they, at the very least, had auras on for survivors, or something like that, because they did not miss a single swing out of phase, no matter where you were on the map, before you ever got injured, etc. They ALWAYS knew where everyone was at all time, with no tracking or aura perks. They didn't even have Stridor.
The weirdest part was that it wasn't just some random burner account- while you guys most likely wouldn't recognize his name, he associates with a lot of smaller streamers and has been a part of plenty of DBD teams- my point being, he seems to take the game seriously enough that I was second guessing whether he was cheating, based solely on how I couldn't understand how he would want to risk losing his DBD account over hacks and cheats.
In any case, I told the other survivors to report, and I went to all the trouble to report him fully- on both matches. I never got an email back, but I saved the link to his profile- and sure enough, a couple of weeks later when I checked, I saw that he had a recent temporary ban on his account. In his bio, he made up an excuse for why he got the ban (something unrelated to cheating, lmaoo)- but I was satisfied knowing the real reason he got banned and that BHVR actually took action on his account.

look it may be bad but it's the most fun perk in dbd and i will stand by this opinion until the day i die
I LOVE Head On. I WANT it to be consistent 😔😔 but I can only take being grabbed out of a locker by a killer who is STILL around the corner so many times... or killers who just don't get stunned even while being inches away from the locker 😭😭😭
It basically leaves it to only be used for "toxic" reasons- most games I can't get anything out of it unless I'm playing with at least one friend and tell them "run past this locker!!!", otherwise I'm getting yoinked out before they're even in front of the locker or they're avoiding the stun with mystic powers 💀💀
I did recently get a basement save with Head On that really swung the match in our favor... so it does truly have its moments... though rare LOL
-
Head On is honestly one of the most garbage perks in the game, for what it is. It's just a constant buggy let down. I've gotten grabbed out while MASHING space bar to stun- it just doesn't work at all with desync/lagging killers/etc. I used to run it with Q&Q and Inner Strength for some added protection, but after so many matches where it just didn't do what it should have I gave it up ☹
Anyways, to answer your question, no, Iron Maiden does not counter Head On. Unless you don't get the stun- then you're just one hit away from going down 😩 LOL
-
I usually just dodge if my friends get on, or if I'm suddenly called away and can't get back to the game in time to play. So technically, not dodging, it just looks like that.
Otherwise, even if I check someone's profile and they have very few hours, I'm just gonna hold it tbh. I escape enough with my 4 man that I don't really mind the disturbingly bad games that get handed to me by baby Dwights and Megs here and there LOL; I figure I'm taking the bullet for all yall solo queue players who otherwise might be matched up with them for a terrible game LMAOOOOO
One of my friends forces us to dodge the solo player if they're playing as Bill 💀💀💀 he STANDS by the fact that Bill players are almost always horrible 😭😭😭

My excitement for this chapter has genuinely gone down for some reason. They're just voice lines but they make all the difference. Pinhead is basically a dull M1 killer with a power worse than Clowns and a useless teleporting ability. His lines were the best thing about him tbh.
Right?!?! I was surprised to see how many people are equally disturbed as we are. A couple of people on Reddit were borderline melting down over it 💀💀
I agree- the lines gave him SO much character. Really disappointed to see it go and probably never come back 😕

"We cannot comment on this further" quote from MandyTalk. Yes it is definitely a legal thing. I wonder, why did the license holders have a problem with Pinhead's voice lines? It wasn't like Behaviour themselves were promoting the joke or something, it was just the game's unfunny community.
I'd kind of be surprised if it was over those jokes- it's not like the double meaning was ever lost on anyone and you'd have to be INCREDIBLY naive to not have seen this coming, even if the owners for Hellraiser are possibly older/less internet culture savvy, you know?
-
@[Deleted User] said:
Yeah i believe it's a legal thing. Problem when it comes to licenses is that they really cannot say much. We don't even know why the Stranger Things Chapter got removed.
Not to be cringe about it, but all these legal issues honestly make me way less hype about their current and future collaborations with other IPs. The Stranger Things flop made some sense- it's obviously Netflix being difficult and ending the contract because they wanna spread their own gaming wings (lmfao)- but to have the voice line issue with a completely different chapter so soon after that is just... really unfortunate and pretty lame lmao
Weirdly enough, I (and many others, it seems) found the Cenobite voice lines to be one of, if not THE, most exciting and interesting parts of the chapter. To have it taken away is like a cruel "Gotcha!" moment LOL
like don't get me wrong, still mega excited for Pinhead- his voice lines aren't everything, obv. But it was a big charm for the character and I'm disturbed that they might have permanently removed it for whatever reason LOL

I honestly expect the Hawkins map to get re-skinned eventually- that makes it worthwhile to fix the glitches on that map.
Disturbed about the voice lines though
-
I hope people keep raising a stink about it 🙄🙄🙄 I didn't get to play the PTB (Steam sucks omg) so I'm really sad I'm gonna miss out on the voice lines. That was gonna be such a cool aspect to have on a killer.
Hopefully it's just related to the fact that they probably want to give different audio for different skins- the Chatterer skin is more than likely meant to have a different voice from Pinhead (similar to Claire having a different voice from Jill), so perhaps they're having a few technical difficulties with getting all that ironed out?
However, the guy on the DBD Twitter seemed relatively noncommittal with his replies to people asking about the issue, so I don't know what to hope 😕

I mean, the stranger things stuff disappears in November. You could always just wait and see if cross progression becomes a thing for Switch before then. If not, you could buy the DLC if you're worried about cross progression not coming out soon. If cross progression comes out before November the 17th then you don't need to pay any extra money.

Just kinda figured I would go ahead and make a thread with some of my major questions regarding the changes- and I'm going to try to keep all of this out of the realm of repeating questions.
-> Will the in-game perk icons continue to have the resemblance to the Stranger Things characters if you bought the DLC, or are they going to be turned into the more generic faces/features we've seen from other perks? (Examples being The Nightmare on Elm Street perks back in the beginning of Switch.)
-> Will there be any chance that there will be attempts in the future to get the license renewed to bring back these characters?
-> Will Hawkins offerings be locked out in a similar way to all other discontinued offerings? (Such as the super old map offerings, splinters, and bouquets?)
-> Since the Hawkins map is being removed, are we getting any sort of replacement for the map with a similar sort of theme and idea of multi-storied laboratory? (Because I know that while it's not necessarily a well-loved map, I think it's at least agreeable to say that it was a really aesthetically pleasing map with a lot of interesting loops in it.)
-> Will Demo's Add-Ons also be receiving a re-name/brand, away from the current cannon names (Like Barb's Glasses and Eleven's Soda getting renamed?)
-> Will this stop Demo from getting balance changes in the future if it's deemed necessary?
-> How will these characters appear for players who did not purchase the DLC before the cut-off date? Will they be viewable from the character select, or will they just be completely hidden? (As that part of it is a lot different then what we had with Bill on console in the beginning and the Nightmare on Elm Street stuff on Switch.)
-> Will the voices, sfx, etc remain the same for these characters going forward, or will that be receiving a change as well?
I'm not expecting all of these to be answered, but I'm curious to see what everyone else's questions are too! (I know there's also a lot of talk about how the achievements for those characters will be treated going forward, but I figured that was a common enough question to leave it out of this list.)
What's everyone else's biggest questions regarding this change?
Obv not a dev, but I'll add my thoughts, anyways
1. They will be changing in appearance to not be related to the license, I believe.
2. No clue, but I wouldn't put it past BHVR to attempt re-licensing at some point. Just depends on why it happened, who iniated all this/negotiated it, etc.
3. Hawkins offering will be retired- but my theory is that they will rework the map at least visually, as I'd be surprised if BHVR let a map go like that. And then the old Hawkins offerings would probably be repurposed for the reworked map, perhaps?
4. Like I just mentioned in #3, I personally believe that they will rework the map at least visually and bring it back.
5. Interesting question that I don't have an answer to, but I could see his add ons being renamed. Perhaps it won't be necessary, though. Just depends on what they agreed to.
6. He probably won't receive much, but I'm sure he will still receive all changes deemed necessary. The fact that he will fade into rarity and obscurity over time will most likely lessen the need to balance him. I do believe he is considered fairly balanced at this point anyways.
7. Probably either grayed out, or just not visible at all, imo
8. Their voices should remain the same- they're not voiced by their actors, as far as I know?

I have no problem prioritizing a genny.
But, if someone goes down quickly, and you are allowing them to go to second stage to finish 1 genny, not value.
A second hook stage is much more valuable than finishing an early gen. Now the last gen is a different story.
He very obviously is talking about survivors who try to suicide on hook when they don't see anyone running over to them within the first 10 seconds of being tossed on the hook.

Go ahead and show us the rest of the tiles in the match?
Without exception, in every single match I've ever played that had a double pallet spawn set up like that, it meant that there was only a minimum pallet spawn number and the rest of the map was very sparsely populated with good tiles. I'll bet anything that the rest of the map was pretty garbage as far as safe tiles. And personally? I'd rather have pallets spread out more evenly than have a double pallet spawn in a single tile.

I.... am really surprised by some of the replies here in the thread. I guess it explains the overwhelming majority of teammates I get in solo queue. Either that or everyone's reading comprehension went out the window while reading your post.
People who attempt to suicide on hook just cause nobody is immediately rushing to unhook them after a short chase are NOT good teammates, period. I will never give up finishing a gen for someone who plays like that- I WILL get you off hook before second phase but I am not letting my gen regress to 0% just so you can be off the hook 45 seconds earlier. You have 60 seconds before second phase, you'll live.
I have no idea why people are reading your post as "I'm going to let you go to second phase while I finish my gen" LOL

I'm sorry, but you're not entitled to have the other survivors play a certain way. It's really annoying when you die to EGC because your teammates wouldn't leave, but it is what it is. Either go to the exit gate the old fashioned way, or accept that there is a chance that you might not get out. You literally don't even always know if the last players preventing hatch from opening up are even at the exit gate yet.
Most players are aware of the possibility that their last teammate that they don't see at the gate is waiting for hatch, and leave with enough time for the hatch to open up even if they spend plenty of time BMing

Xbox and Playstation have no word on cross progression. The most yall have is between consoles. Playstation is known for being difficult to budge when it comes to allowing cross progression, reason being that they don't want to encourage, in any way, the possibility of someone leaving their platform for another one.
I don't see why there couldn't be cross platform progression between Xbox and Windows Store, however. They ARE the same company, in that case!
For Switch, no answers there. It's been Coming Soon™️ for nearly a year at this point. Apparently the BHVR account linking web page is suddenly back up as of today, though, so perhaps that's a sign of things in the works for real now?

Well there are 3 maps disabled atm, wich means ofcourse there is less variation in the map rotation. But i can tell im recently getting alot lery's when i play killer. Almost annoying lol.
That's when you just throw Scratched Mirror on Myers and make everyone's life miserable for the next few games LMAO

I'm divided on who I think it could be. The Hellraiser hints are so incredibly obvious to the point that I'd be surprised if it was actually that, considering how BHVR seems to have liked being a little more sneaky with what their teasers actually mean.
I'm cool with whatever they add, but yeah, they're being so obvious with it that I have to wonder...

Which is...? What reason?

Iron Maiden allows me to spam locker while screaming my lungs out as I die instantly in game and of laughter outside of it.
10/10 perk if you ask me.
LOOOOL I LOVE it when the killer runs Iron Maiden. It is beyond a doubt my favorite killer perk. My friends and I once went against a streamer who was running it while hiding in the basement. Unfortunately, they ran into the basement and messed around and found out...
My friend posted a clip here on his twitter if you wanted to see how it ended up- https://twitter.com/HazmattRules/status/1413991578822135809?s=19
We spent 3 minutes beforehand just spamming the lockers, and looking back on the VOD, he and his one twitch chatter were equally disturbed and amused with what was going on LOL

I play a lot of doctor and 50%ish unhooks always cancels the animation and drops the hook person onto the ground in the very same position as the unhooker, shortening their animation and giving them an advantage. Maybe it was a last patch bug but I had it happened quite a few times during that. This patch, since the event finished, I haven't played a lot so I couldn't happen to do it. Maybe it's just a killer pov thing and even though they're 50% unhook animation on my screen they might be a lot more through it due to desynch.
I figured you were saying this from a killer's perspective. It's most likely a little latency/desync sort of thing- because on survivor side, I never get an unhook unless the bar is basically full. You can be interrupted at any point during the unhook, but it does seem to go through regardless once you reach the bar being full.
I wonder how it is handled server side- I've definitely been grabbed when it 100% did not seem like I would or could be grabbed, and I've had 99% unhooks interrupted and not finish, even though it tends to go through in most cases when the bar is 99%.

Bruhhh
I've completed all rifts aside from the first one (I didn't start playing the game until it was halfway through and I had no idea there even was a rift LMAO) and I seriously could NOT care less about other people being able to buy the outfits I grinded for. I got it for cheap, they didn't. I'm happy for my friends when they get to buy an outfit they missed out on.

Why? You don't deserve the unhook if the Killer is right there.
While he was facecamping, you should have been doing gens.
@Jasix said:
Take advantage of their poor gameplay and do gens - no different than what you do with a Bubba who facecamps.
As to your proposal: No.
Who is saying that they didn't already have all the gens done? You want them to leave the guy who carried the game on the hook as they all leave?
To OP: it's difficult but you can definitely get an unhook in between shocks. Doctor is definitely an effective face camper but at least he is less lethal than Bubba, Trickster, etc., when it comes to it. You usually need another person with you to unhook successfully if you're not that good at timing things well/are on console (I can't do CRAP against a face camping Doctor on switch due to console lag/controller stuff; however, on pc, I can handle it much better). Congrats on unhooking anyways- it's definitely difficult LOL

@1miko said:
Yeah if you time it right you can actually get the unhook through that even with double discipline, it's just hard. If you complete half of the unhook animation only a grab can cancel the unhook, not a down, not doctors power, no nothing.
Are you sure about this? That's not what happened to me yesterday- I was 60% on an unhook and got interrupted by Doctor's shock therapy.
I've also had the bar almost completely full and still had the unhook not go through if I go down before it's finished. If I have it, like, 95%+, then I'll get it regardless, but I definitely have not noticed your statement being true 😔😔

Could be, could not be, we have no idea.
I wish, but I highly doubt it.
But yes, it was supposed to come out no later than the end of Q2, so it's about a month delayed at this point. People have asked about it on Twitter and they say something along the lines of "it has been delayed, still working out some details with our partners"
