Yea but when all 3 go for a save? Isn't it kinda overboard? Lol I don't even play a killer but when they keep clicking that flashlight it's really annoying to watch.
Its not just overboard, its counterproductive cause the Killer can just camp and wait for the hookstages to progress without worry that gens are being done. The worst part about it is that those situation forces the Killer to camp. The only alternative would be to awkwardly walk away backwards while letting them save and heal each other.

I get 200 skillchecks per gen when Ruin is active but only one per game when im up against a Freddy.

Skillcheck RNG is laughing at me.

Ok fine you convinced me :^)

Let's start with a normal one then. One day in autumn, me and my friend were playing in a public park, we were both around 11-12. There were a LOT of leaves and since it did not rain in a while, the dead leaves were quite easy to pick up, we could fill our hats in a single handfull of leaves just to tell you how many they were. Then my friend picked up a pack of leaves and found a lighter underneath. We had a brilliant idea of course.

We made a huge mountain of leaves, and I mean a HUGE one, enough so that two 11 y-o kids could hide inside without anyone noticing from the outside. The pile of leaves reached high enough that we both tried to jump over it without touching any leaves and we always failed. Anyways then we made sure no one was around and we lit it up xD.

We danced around it like indians while making weird moves and the fire grew quick enough that I could not see my friend at the other side of the fire since the flames reached high and were thick enough to hide the view. Then after 30seconds we heard a car brake across the street and the lady inside it was honking at us furiously. We looked at her confused then she picked up her cellphone.

That's when we knew ######### would get real and just kicked the fire since we tough the police would arrive in like 2min and after putting the fire out we just ran straight to our houses LOL The lady in the car was trying to follow us but we crossed over other people's property and she lost us after some time.

The day after we just chilled at another friend's house.

You just did it, you delivered. Love you.
I have multiple ones but i will share the most believable first.

It was the last year at school, one of the bad ones. We were making class trip to one of those awful modern art museum.
The teacher didnt buy any tickets and got a call so he just gave everyone money to buy them. 10 of us were dumb enough to be smokers so we bought cigarettes instead.

Once the ticket inspector announced himself we were hiding with 9 of us in the smelling passenger toilet restroom. One of them couldn't resist making gangbang jokes till we all tried not to laugh until one of them finally cracked and laughed so loud it got the inspectors attention.

We waited till our last station, opened the door and inspector was waiting in front of it.  We all looked at each other awkwardly and uncomfortably for a short while till inevitably one of the clowns made another gangbang joke and asked him to join. He didn't say anything, just walked a few steps backwards and pretended nothing happened.

We never talked about what happened after that.

That all aside, M1 Billy is used as an insult by the same survivors that typically complain about instadown Killers.

You make it sound like Survivors complain about everything. :p

Of course im not trying to make such a generalization but i've seen such hypocrisy in the steam forum once in a while.

I assume they are these toxic fanboys of those who shall not be named that insult after every victory or find something to complain about after every defeat.

Sorry to burst your joy or bubble but the killer is actually named in the teaser

    So Nii san / Niisan

For all who didnt waste forever watching anime NiiSan Means big brother and you hear the heavy footsteps, its going to be a japanese male with some kind of big brother role ^^

No its obviously an armed Nissan Skyline, we are going full Mad Max here.
  • Tbh, that number 2 & 3 = 23rd august thingy will be most likely true.

Maybe its a 5, meaning that the 5th could be the release.
  • Can they atleast wait till the Wraith buff before they replace him?
  • Its because the game was originally intended to be played only with solo survivors in mind and SWF was actually added after release, and because the game was designed around solo play it created balance issues as comms replace virtually all aura and info giving perks in the game.

In order to balance the game we got 2 options:

    1. Remove SWF alltogether
    2. Bring solos as close as possible to SWF and nerf survivors very hard.

The game is heading for option 2. You see it in the previous nerfs in chasing while giving more infos for solos like if the Obsession is in chase and making kindred part of the basekit
  • Well I do have stories but they're rather... hum... a bad influence if I were to share them xD.

in the meantime everyone shares its story so maybe here's something different :

If yes just choose whatever you want i'll draw it when I have time and post it :^)
I just got a new drawing tablet so I just did a quick sketch to test my new tablet.

Oh ok. His "power" made me think stalk. I was like what? Lol

I was with you on that one Chemical, an addon is an addon last time I checked.

Stalking will lead to EW3 if no mirror is used. Instadown + enhanced lunge + fast vaults does sound like a power made to kill to me and not just a stealth or stalling tool.

I have been in AFK for 45 min once before i smacked the flashlight out of Quentins hand with FD.

And then he picked his flashlight right back up and left.

He jumped in without it. I didn't move for a while he was trying to show his 360 skills for 45 min so it was probably a bit of a scare for him.
  • BHVR has submitted for Avatar approval. The process can take weeks and there is nothing they can do. Each avatar requires separate approval, so don't expect them to be released at the same time.  Once Sony, Microsoft, and Steam have approved, they'll release the avatars for a fee.

Not gonna rant about nerf/ buffs for anybody. Honestly though, the killers have no imposing presence. Yes there is the not wanting to be hit, but that aside where is the sense of fear from our perspective. Far to often I see teammates running around like the attention is a joke. Working as a team is a fundamental part of winning, but mobbing a killer takes away from the idea they are the threat. Again not calling for killer buffs just some mechanics to keep the theme in perspective. I know ima get some $#!+ on this but I think a person should feel desperate to escape a chase, stealth is a tool afterall.

the fear happens when you run dead hard and you use it but it doesn't register and the killer downs you but you all ready used Decisive strike and the idiot random survivors waste your adrenaline while the killer is carrying you.

The risk of running a 2nd chance crutch build.

It ended because the survivor decided to just disconnect, I was prepared to wait it out because I really wanted to mori the meg aha

I usually dont engage in hatch standoffs, i smack them for points and move on to the next game and i recommend you do the same.

Im normally not that committed getting the 4th guy, often giving them the hatch myself, but that guy was pissing me off so i decided to troll him a bit.

You can imagine the salt i received when he lost his purple flashlight.

  • I agree nowadays the slightest inconvenience will get a DC, i had survivors DC as soon as my Bamboozle activated on the killer shack cause they couldn't loop around it.
  • I once played SWF.

I died. And then again, and then again. It just showed me I prefer to play solo.
Thee only time i survived in SWF was against a poor Billy. We all ran No Mither and Up the Ante as a meme and the poor guy did not know what to do.

Aside from meme squads i only play solo.

  • I don't want to be annoying but thats just getting ridiculous.
  • but what does healing returns to normal or bleeding returns to normal once healed?

i never understood that definition in sloppy butcher. does that mean it only applies to the first hit, and once that survivor heals up, sloppy butcher never applies to them anymore?

It does apply on every M1 hit.
If you healed and get hit by a chainsaw for example then it wont give them the effects.

The RBT is not a killing tool. The intent behind the RBT is to stall and distract, and it does a pretty decent job of that.

This is also a big problem. What you're saying, in essence, is that her power is not intended to cause any real harm to Survivors. You don't see the problem with that?

Do you want to a guaranteed way to kill survivors after a mere down and not even a hook?

BTW she has a power that can harm, its called a dash.
  • Regarding her ambush:
The best buff would be to simply increase her acceleration to her max speed, this would make SB less consistant and mindgames better.

    RBTs:
There are quite a few options, i really like Peanits idea to always have them search atleast two boxes and not have them take them off in less than 30s because RNG.

So I was wondering, when it comes to slugging survivors is there a tip to keep track of them? So like say I down a survivor near another one hooked, but a third survivor pops up and I chase them. Is there like a tip to help me guess where the survovor is better?
Hmm in that situation you cant do much about the 4th guy coming along saving both if you chase the third since you can only chase one at a time. Depending on hook stages it'd be wise to either camp the hook while they waste time or hook the slugged person if he already got hooked atleast once.
  • Clown can be rather brutal but he is balanced.
  • 1. You are facing new Killers, you said it yourself. Give them time to learn.

    2. Your proposed solution makes no sense.

    3. There are multiple tactics to punish camping

    4. Don't get caught and stop being a crybaby.
  • Any japanese here?

    Maybe @sakyu ?

Note the third perk. The mouth again...
  • Hopefully the hints arent as bad and meaningless as before.

Remember when we got from the Hangman to Amanda Young?
  • Yes and no.

The Devs themselves will not ban you for it but MLGA is at risk getting blasted by EAC (Anti-cheat) at any moment. BHVR stated they wont do anything to unban you if that happens.

Since it runs with scripts the chances are high. My advice is to stay away.
  • This isnt weekly anymore. Its almost daily now.
  • Let me copy what i wrote on the other thread.

    Kuchisake-onna

Its based on some japanese folklore about a ghoulish woman who was mutilated by her husband with a glasgow smile who now randomly approaches victims and asks them if shes pretty, if they say yes she will give them a similar scar, if they say no she will kill them with sharp weapons.

She hides her scars and distorted mouth using a surgical mask. Feng has a cosmetic with a surgical mask and Trappers smile on it (I know shes chinese but still the only female asian in the game).
  • I think i have something. Google

  • Thats interesting. We know it wont be Father Campbell himself because that would clash with the lore, however i believe the Killer might be
     "the Deacon".

    Its a bit of a stretch but im gonna put my theory based on that here anyway;

A deacon is below the priest in terms of hierarchy and the name derived from ancient greek and means "servant". In the lore Killers have been described as servents as well. Deacons are often in charge of reporting (thus the watching), recruiting and welcoming members and guests of a church (in this case the survivors) and his lore could be directly linked to the Clown.

Bloodhound is absolutely vital on a killer like Michael because you can’t afford to find a survivor, chase them, hit then, chase them some more, lose them, and they get healed.

Match is over at that point.
Trying to keep multiple people hurt is actually now a viable tactic thanks to Sloppy Butcher. Especially on Myers with M&A and/or NC (So you can disengage and find them later while they arent sure if you are still around or left)

and Freddy (same reason but huge hit and run potential, dream slowdown stacked with mangled  keeps them hurt for ages)
To be honest I never understood the bleeding part of sloppy butcher
Its not that bad for tracking on Autohaven Wreckers, Lerys and the game.
    How does it work though
It simply increases the frequency of the visible blood pools on the ground that injured survivors leave. You can track survivors by simply following the blood so the increased amount allows you to track them much easier.
To me its not even about the frequency of bleeding, it's about the extra 6 seconds it takes to Self Care.
Yes thats the new main selling point of the new Sloppy Butcher.
The extra time waste on each hit rather you intent to actually down them or not is what i call Thanatophobia 2.0

Its a really good perk on all Killers that are good with hit and run or sneak upon groups and healing survivors.

  • I use to work at a Tim Hortons (coffee shop in Canada eh) when I was 16. I had worked there for just over a year and I worked night shifts. After work I would walk home as I lived a short ways away. We always split our tips evenly at the end of the night and I would carry my portion home in a Tims bag. I had also recently gotten my braces off and use to put my retainer and case in this bag. One night heading home a homeless man grabbed me from behind and told me he had a needle in his pocket and to give him my bag. Not taking any chances I complied and he then ran off. It was later I realized he also had my retainer ( $1200 to replace). To this day I've been checking the teeth of every homeless man I meet in hopes of one day finding my assailant.

Thats why i always carry weapons with me at all times. Hope you are gonna find him one day though he probably already spend it all on drugs before the sun's up.
  • I assume you mean those who do it intentionally.

Drop pallets when he loops, stand in the way of his flashlight beam, bodyblock him so he gets downed and finish the deal by farming him off the hook till he dies.

Don't suicide because of toxic teammates, don't take that ######### and deal with them.
  • Literally the only buff the Pig needs is something to better deal with exhaustion perks. Either something that will cause exhaustion on a survivor without hitting them or something to extend her sprint attack so that it will outlast the survivor's Sprint Burst. (And by outlast, I mean just a second, maybe a second and a half longer so that if a survivor sprint bursts at the same time the pig does, the pig will still get a hit. If the survivor sprints away before the Pig, then the survivor will still get away.)

She is already faster at peak than SB, only her acceleration needs to be faster to defeat this perk.
  • When you're about to get hooked and Dickhead Dweird is already on his way ready to farm.

    Base game mechanics.

Gens too quick and easy to complete. Hit box size differences that allows for Looping. Poor Map Design that gives Survivors massive Loops. Killer FoV being screwy, ever since they changed it so Killers couldn’t clip the camera to be ablue to check inside lockers without actually opening them. I could go on, but you get the point, I hope.

Perks, items, add ons, all of that be damned. When the base game mechanics are flawed, the game is ######### up. There are a plethora of base game mechanics that are heavily in the Survivors favor that when you play Killer, you spend all your time fighting the game mechanics, not pitting your skill up against the Survivor players skill, they don’t need skill when the game mechanics carry them so hard.
So survivors just playing the game ewuals toxic behaviour? So survivors shouldn't play and killers should play lobby simulators?

Like I said playing a survivor and doing "Base game mechanics" equals toxic behaviour because you didn't spoon feed the killer the win. Basically you're saying if I do Gens I'm not playing the game as intended because you didn't win lol

I read both. They're still very contradictory. But despite that, I agree. What I think would be a nice change is working on her lunge. Getting rid of the loud sound cue when she lunges would help more. I agree that if a survivor dies on the hook while wearing the trap, she should be able to pick it up. I like the idea of raising her view when crouching as well. As for MYC, it does tell you when it activates, right? After somebody rescues someone, you can see the timer start on the perk.

Thats not what @RotBb meant. Devour Hope lights up once you are far enough away, MYC doesnt.
