Yeah, the new orange one was a bit out of the mix from the usual stuff, but it’s a lot easier to notice, which is probably what they were going for.

They haven’t implemented it yet. Not all things from the PTB could be implemented, so there’s still hope that it won’t change overall. :)

@ShrekIsHot You gain it for 10 seconds currently after hooking a Survivor, but the bonus speed is still nice when activating Feral Frenzy. :)

Best way to track blood alone is with Sloppy Butcher and Bloodhound. These two together can help you easily spot where a Survivor has last been if they're near you. The best way to find injured Survivors overall though is Sloppy, Stridor, Nurse's, and Bloodhound, but generally, you only need two perks from all of these to find injured Survivors. :)

Also, heres some tips too that I gave to @Eveline that I've used to help get me from rank 16 all the way to rank 1 with Legion alone:
- Don't break from a chase unless needed. If theres Survivors nearby, don't got straight for them if you're already in a chase, only go for chain-stabs if they're all grouped up together.
- Don't use your ability unless needed. A lot of people underestimate the fact that Legion can M1 without his ability and try to mind-game you with it. Instead, mind-game them into thinking you'll be using it in situations where they'd want you to, like being looped at the Killer shack. Perks like Brutal Strength and Bamboozle are excellent on M1 Legions.
- Legion, like most Killers, is add-on dependent, unfortunately. You'll have to use the best of the best if you're gonna want to get somewhere in high ranks. I suggest bringing cooldown and speed perks. Heres a fun tip, you can body block. Bringing Cooldown and Speed add-ons could help you with blocking windows or pallets that survivors are trying to run to.
- Never give up. Legion is a toughie in some cases, but don't think everything in the match will come to an end once gens are done. NoeD is excellent on Legion, as you don't have to rely on your ability anymore to apply pressure, but rather, apply pressure into forcing survivors to either escape without their friend or deal with you and NoeD.

Ive discussed some fun builds and actual builds to play as Legion in Off Topic's Mount Ormand post, but I can post them here. :)
- Meme-gion: Basically, you never use your ability unless if you NEED to. Bring NoeD, Save The Best For Last, Fire It Up or Brutal Strength (Fire It Up is pretty decent for picking up Survivors quicker too with Legion's slower pick up animation), and Monitor and Abuse. You could bring Frank's Mixtape and the Ruler for loopers, but I generally just like to bring speed add-ons.
- Sanic Legion: Gotta Go Fast™. Bring Unrelenting, Fire It Up, Bamboozle, and NoeD. Add-ons just consist of any of the speed add-ons (Susie's Mixtape at best) and cooldowns. (Cold dirt)
- Eye-Spy Legion: You wanna find them Survivors. Distressing, BBQ, Discordance, and Bloodhound. Any add-on will do. :)
- Meta Legion: Meta, pretty straight forward. Sloppy, Thanatophobia, and any two perks of your choice. I would also suggest bringing add-ons that increase mending time, such as the Filthy Blade.
- The 'I really hate Streamers/SWF' Legion: Ruin, Sloppy, Thanatophobia, and either NoeD or Devour Hope. Bring Frank's Mixtape and Cold Dirt. Mori for bonus salt and for Streamers to call Legion no-fun and broken at the end of the match. :P

@Eveline Legion takes time to master, weirdly enough. They're easy to learn, but when thrown into situations like trying them out at higher ranks, it takes a lot of will-power to play with them. Heres some tips...

For PC, mouse and keyboard are a lot better for Dead By Daylight. I’ve played DbD on Xbox for awhile back in the past and there’s a big difference in how they both work, and mouse and keyboard are just a lot better than the controllers.

@Jimsalabim Sometimes lag switching can cause a lot of weird issues. You could've been floating while the Killer was ahead of you and may not have noticed or the game didn't register where they were at for you because they were...Lag switching. It's just a theory though, you could report it to technical issues. :)

Could be Lag Switching, either that or very very very horrible lag spikes, but I'm gonna say the Legion was Lag Switching to avoid the strike or to just get you on a hook quicker. That's my theory though. :P

I think, as of now, both sides are generally equal in terms of balance. I play both Survivor and Killer and I’d like to say that there’s a lot of counters to Killers while not so many towards Survivors, but is made up from add-ons and perks. I’d like to think of it like this...
Killer’s abilities are weak, but they’re made up for it by perks and add-ons to help boost them.
Survivor’s abilities are strong if played correctly (such as looping, timing, all the stuff you’ll see from youtubers) while their perks and add-ons aren’t too entirely strong but help support their strengths by very little, but still handy.
People will like to think that there isn’t any balance, but with recent reworks, nerfs, and buffs for both ends on the spectrum, they’re NOW finally in terms of being balanced in a long time. Will this change soon? Probably, it generally does, some OP perk will be thrown to either Killer or Survivor and the balance scale will begin to tip again, but as of now? I’d like to think that we’re equal balance-wise. But that is just an opinion of mine, I’m sure other’s will say something else, and that’s fine. Balancing is a serious topic on the forums and it’s always nice to hear everyone’s opinion on these kinds of things. :)

I understand what you’re saying. Playing with streamers and having your name broadcasted to everyone watching can be a very big invasion of your privacy, in a way, especially when they’re a popular streamer with hundreds of people watching. A friend of mine went up against a very popular streamer and ended up getting called out because he was playing The Pig. I would like there to be a streamer mode for DbD that lets your name be randomized if needed, but with how many forum posts have asked for that and with no comment from a dev or community manager, it may not happen. This could be due to Steam, but who knows. I do understand what you’re going through though and I support decisions 1 and 2, though 3 might be a bit harsh, lol. :)

Don't let what Survivors say get you down and stop your fun. You bought this game for a reason, and it was to enjoy what YOU wanted to enjoy! Play whoever you feel is fun to play and don't let anyone's comments bring you down. Everyone has their own preferences, and while Survivors (and probably some Killers who worship the Streamers and YouTubers who started the Legion hate) are gonna complain about Legion, you shouldn't let their opinions get to ya. Just have fun, ignore end-game chats, and just focus on your enjoyment, buddy. I hope that you won't quit the game and that you'll continue to enjoy what Killer you want to enjoy. :)

In all seriousness though, it is nice to acknowledge Legion’s creativity as a Killer rather than their ability on the forums. Legion is honestly one of the most creative Killer BHVR has made due to them not being just an individual Killer. I liked that they made them a group, and I hope maybe we’ll see more of them towards cosmetics and perhaps maybe see more members of Legion (even if in the lore there was 4). :)

For Survivor, it’s teammates. I play solo a lot and it’s generally a pain to deal with SWF groups that prioritize their We’re Gonna Live Forever stacks and end up getting me farmed. :(
For Killer, it’s just dealing with all the negativity I’d get from playing someone like Legion. :’(

To give some purpose towards the bloodweb. While they have been changing some perks, it would be OP if Killers could get NowD tier 3 as their first perk off the bat, or stuff like Overcharge, Self Care, Botany Knowledge, Bond, Sloppy+Bloodhound, etc. That’s just my take on it though. :)

I personally like Legion and Dwight’s lores the best (ironically my mains), as they seem to give a good explanation towards the character(s) past before the events of Dead By Daylight. :)
