Yes! Happy stabs.
I'm so happy they've given them some love! It's such an amazing change, and I'm hopeful everyone else is enjoying them too!

Old Legion mains are you coming back to life yet?
Yes lmao.

Legion Gang, rise up.

One of my favorite myths that I managed to bust was whether or not bamboozle's vault speed affect pallets with the Legion. Interesting enough, you do vault pallets faster. I believe this might actually be just common knowledge now, but at the time when the text was changed to make it seem like it didn't, it was interesting to have noticed that it did affect the speed at which the Legion vaults them.
-
They're all pretty solid picks, but Counterforce is really good if you want to try and get them done as quickly as you can to go back to focusing on your main objective
-
I'm still waiting for my Ethan Winters skin, BHVR.
π
-
It's always fun being accused of hacking for using Mad Grit. It's such an uncommon perk to see, I get it, but come on, it's not that hard to read it's description at the endgame. π
-
I wouldn't think a player would have a disadvantage in speed regarding what they use. All characters, Survivors and Killers, have their movement speeds set in place, it would be very strange for them to be somehow slower due to a controller. If you are somehow slower, then it would be a very unique bug but it just doesn't seem possible for movement speed to be bugged out due to that.
-
Yea, even with some cosmetics where the Survivor is barefoot, all sounds are the same, possibly due to balancing reasons. Again, as of right now, I think Dwight's Christmas stuff is the only ones with unique footstep sounds, but they're more 'pay to lose' than actually benefitting you, but they're at least silly and fun lol

Im on PC the issue is with HDD drivers sadly i have an HDD as my SSD died a couple months back but yeah waiting for Behavior to fix it is yeah.
Dang, sorry to hear that, man, yea, hopefully it's fixed soon for ya. π₯
-
All are the same, though I think Dwight with his elf and Christmas present outfits are the only ones with a unique sound for every step he takes, that being the faint jingles you can hear.
-
The new stun-detection should have some looking into, yea. Was playing a lot of SWF games yesterday and the stuns just felt too easy to pull out, not really much risk to it right now if you just camp pallets. I haven't experienced much lag though but that could be due to me playing on PC. I'm sorry for all the console players who still have to deal with that stuff, it sucks, hopefully it's fixed soon for you guys that read this. π
-
Some people just have weird ways of coping for their frustration, I guess? I never understood it either, but it is what it is, I guess lol
-
Hackers are a thing, yea, as @GoodBoyKaru stated. And yes, they can still be hacking in your console lobby if you have crossplay enabled. Best to just report them when the game is over and move on, not much you can do sadly.
-
She just underperforms compared to the rest of the cast. She doesn't feel entirely fun to play and most of her playstyle encourages to tunnel the person you generally trap. She's one of those Killers that should get, at the very least, a mini-rework to have her kit be more healthy and fun for the game.
-
Could just be that you're on too early in your region and not a lot of other players are up yet, or you might have crossplay turned off, it shouldn't normally be that long.
-
Brutal is overall more useful, Fire Up just rewards you for not doing your objectively as optimally as possible, which is fine, but it seems like a poor design choice personally for very little value.
-
Meanwhile, I'm stuck here with 20 different Spirit mains running Stridor and tunneling the ######### out of whoever the unlucky poor soul is that gets caught by them first.
-
BHVR has done it, they've clown'd the clown.
god i miss his power
-
I've been enjoying solo-survivor as well, I enjoy running around with my Chris skin with the name 'Boulder Puncher' and just going in for fun. I've died probably like 4-5 times since I've started running around doing that last week and it's been a blast, but I can also see why people would have their complaints for it.

I think survivors should have something similar ro scratch marks but not quite the same. It makes sense for the killer to see them because hunting is their specialty. So give survivors some other clue as to whether or not another survivor is in the area.
Maybe some kind of audio cue or maybe like a blue or some other color variant of the scratchmarks that Survivors can see, perhaps? Or maybe handprints on the walls or generators that fade away in like 10-15 seconds if a Survivor had done something in that area that would be beneficial to know, like messing with a hook or working on a gen, somethin like that.
-
You can use the event offerings whenever you want, they're not time limited. People are more than likely just saving them for actual worthwhile events like double bloodpoints.
-
At least we get two charms!
-
It'll probably end up being a code or just a reward in due time. Can't really say much else besides that with the very little info we have.
-
Just a bug, you'll sadly have to keep trying until the game decides it want to just give it to you. You'll also only get Frank's crown, since apparently they didn't make one for Julie, so be prepared for that too.
-
@ObscurityDragon said:
Come on only 1?
Really?
Sad that even for legion they dont care enough to give the double crown...
Creativity died when their pockets got full.
-
You can snipe your friends, yes, it doesn't really take a lot of effort into pulling it off, just some time. It's either he was sniping to farm with his friends or you just got verrrrry unlucky. If you have crossplay turned off, it's easier to snipe people through those means, so I would suggest turning it on if you want to try and get a lobby with a smaller chance of getting snipers.

I'm 99% sure there is no community goal. They will give the skins away eventually, no matter what. They just say "community goal" to encourage people to play the game and search for crowns.
I wonder how they even manage to get statistics on anything at this rate.
-
pain.
-
Pretty good job so far.
-
Wouldn't consider it an 'Easter Egg', just more of a coincidence, but it's still neat to have pointed that out.
-
BHVR wasn't getting any money out of it, obviously.
-
Object of Obsession is clearly an underwhelming perk.
Our great Lord Almo deems that must not need a change clearly from the StAtIstIcS, so going off of his sTaTiStIcS, due to the lack of escapes that a perk has, they clearly shouldn't nerf it, but instead, buff it so that it can lead to more escapes!
-
There is no event.
Give us your wallet.
-
They didn't care to begin with, I think people are just now realizing how greedy and scummy they've become. At first, they DID care, there was love and effort put into this game, but now, all this is to them is one giant cashgrab. We are literally their pay pigs. We are nothing more and we are nothing less to them. They will continue to make horrific balancing decisions, put a huge lack of effort into cosmetics, and call it a day because they know people will give them money.
It's no surprise.

@coppersly said:
Well based on the fact they've said they don't want slowdowns stacking very much I doubt they'll increase it to anything above 6%, and even that's highly unlikely imo.
Wasn't there at one point in a PTB, I believe around Legion's release or a little after it, they increased the percentage and then quickly reverted it without saying as to why? I mean, I don't recall how major it was, but it wouldn't have been THAT huge compared to Sloppy's current time, and even then, I mean, 4 seconds versus 2..? It's just...Why? Lmao

The back of the head was bald, people only ran it because it was a funny bug not because it looked good.
and again, all I'm doing is explaining things, I agree that most of the heads & killers weapons don't need to be locked but I also understand why they're locking most things.
You never know, some people may have genuinely liked how the head look. Everyone has their own taste.

why do her eyes look like they are peaking through a mask of human skin? Leather face new girlfriend?? βΊ
Leatherface somehow has more beauty than that though, let's be real..Lmao

With the price of a legendary skin I can buy the last two DLCs, this doesnβt make any sense
Precisely.
I don't want to bash on BHVR, but we shouldn't be paying that much for a skin that barely changes anything or is fundamentally creative. Why would I buy Oni's minotaur skin when it just doesn't make any sense? Why would I buy any of the legendaries for the Silent Hill characters when they don't change the character at all?? It's just...It's just lazy. And that's NOT the art team's fault either.

@Seiko300 said:
Legendary skins all in all are extremely underwhelming, and the community as a whole is starting to catch wind of this repeatedly calling out the fact. (Currently we only have two skins that count as legendary but what we've seen so far isn't very encouraging)
With no new animations (IE for killer different Idle animations, different weapon wipe animation, etc.), no new voices, no visual changes to killer's power or ability (IE Changing The Oni's weapon from a Japanese Kanabo to something that makes more sense for a Greek Minotaur [like a Labrys], or even just small changes like changing the killer power icon. Why is it still the Japanese Oni mask when you're playing as a Greek Minotaur instead?), etc. so on and so forth.
Aside from the fantasy of "being a different character" and the rarity, there is no significant difference between the very rare skins DBD has been releasing for the past four years, and the "legendary" skins that they're suddenly asking 15$ for. As I've said before, "it seems DBD is more intent on selling us the idea of legendary skins rather than actually skins of a legendary quality" as again, these skins could only ever be called "legendary" in name and title.
As for the legion skin itself specifically, I don't believe there are technical limitations, I mean the mask is supposed to change depending on a condition that is being met. For example whenever he enters feral frenzy, or is fatigued, or every time he's hit by a pallet. There are perks that exist that activate when you've been hit by a pallet- Spirit Fury most obviously gains a token every time you're hit by a pallet, if you're hit with enough pallets the pallet is destroyed immediately by the entity.
That's something they had to code, to program, I fail to see the technical limitations or even the difference between a pallet being broken immediately after being stunned, and a mask changing expression after being stunned. Unfortunately I think this is probably a situation where DBD is trying to save money by following through the more complicated aspects of that cosmetic concept, even though incidentally it was those same complicated aspects that made it cool in the first place. I don't think people would have upvoted for it as much as they did if those animations and cool little details weren't there.
EXACTLY.
I love you for explaining it better than I could've.
-
On another note:
Please stop downgrading skins that have been in the shop for longer than 3 months. Once they're released, please don't change the colors or how the hair looks. Jeff's white facepaint cosmetic just looks awful now and the Day of the Dead skins for the Legion don't glow in the dark anymore. Stop screwing your community over.

Even he expressed that he wasn't fully happy with the final product.
Is there a source to that?
You can check out his Twitter, which @Demogordon_Ramsay posted. He discussed it awhile back when the skin was revealed.

Me like.
-
Either people purposely trying to de-pip, or bots that people have implemented, which are rare to see but exist. What the bots intended purpose is, we will never know, but they could more than likely just be a player wanting to de-pip OR get free bloodpoints, maybe..?
-
I think it's best to not DC.
You need to learn that there's some maps you have the upper hand while others may not give you such an advantage. It's best to play on them to learn more about them and how you CAN win rather than think it's an easy game for the Survivors.
Now, will that stop you? No, you're free to do what you like, you spent your money to play the game you want, but also remember that Survivors also have to deal with the downside of going up against a DC, so just try not to abuse it if you think certain maps are unwinnable. It's best to just try and give it a go.
-
It's pretty much just the Alchemist, or at the very least, Vigo or Benedict. It's one of the three, but more than likely just the Alchemist himself.
(Ok, I misread and actually meant to say the Alchemist was supposedly the next Killer. For the Survivor, I'm not quite sure.)
-
Does not fix the situation, but would make it worse, as it could lead to games being held hostage if this occurs.
-
*Insert pretty good job so far comment here.*

Imagine saying that Detective Tapp isn't one of the most famous characters in the SAW franchise, He even has his own game dammit !
To be fair, the games were VERY very questionable π
-
Can't change characters who have already been added to the game that are under licensing. They can make new ones BASED off of those, like how the Trapper is based off of Jason or how Hillbilly is based off of Leatherface, but they can't just remove the original whenever they want or change them, not to mention the fact people do enjoy the characters for who they are and where they are from.
