Mmmm no.
Still prefer it way more than Survivor.
-
You expect it?
That's some high expectations.
-
Trapper & Dwight.
Not much choice in the beta.
-
First time experience.
That doesn't have anything to do with the game though, i just love discovering everything myself in a good game.
-
It's happening, isn't it?
They're really gonna balance around the casuals.
-
Isn't a big difference between those 2 that Nurse can charge whenever and however much?
Legion has to go on a full charge and has to recharge everything always.
-
Wraith is one of the easiest to get into, but his awesome buffs to his Add-ons allow for a lot of tactics, some of them difficult.
-
So does this mean that you can infinitely FF-stab a Survivor?
-
Mkay.
-
Doesn't Pallet placement do that if it can't find any other spot?
Or was that just near the main building?
-
"And for the last - mechanic for survivors - pallet and flashight save return. you know - the one where, if you stun or blind killer durning pickup, at the end of animation he drops survivor."
Oh my god, this is the ONE and ONLY thing i ever quit playing DbD for, and you want to bring it back?
"I think it will make things easy for flashlight user, but not for long"
No, it is and will be easy forever.
"killer still have lightborn"
It doesn't counter a Flashlight with good Add-ons.
"and can look at walls"
So if there's no wall, i can never pick them up.
"or use Infectious Fright to know if someone around."
A.k.a. Waste a slot on a required Perk, cause everyone and their mother will either take Flashlights or Chest Perk builds.
Not to mention you suggest Lightborn, so that's 2 Perk slots wasted on 1 mechanic.
"My point is - saving with a flashtligt will still be hard"
No, it won't.
"but atleast you will be forced to spend time to find if "someone here" or risk it all."
How is that a good thing?
Killers are already being pressured by genrushers & have to deal with up to a max of 16 second chance Perks.
-
You have enough of it?
That sounds like you say it happens too often.
While i'm betting this doesn't happen often at all.
For every time that happens, there's ten times more moments where they just wait for you to slap them out.
Also, it's just an Item. Be glad that Survivors get to keep their stuff at all.

But if you hook a survivor for the FIRST time, and the game automatically sacrifices them, you didn't 'earn' anything because the game gifted you a sacrifice. As I have mentioned, if that survivor is running Deliverance, DS, and MoM, then the sacrifice was even less earned.
Did you never give or receive gifts with the reason "You EARNED a gift."?
I have.
And yes, that's a serious question, cause it might not be in your culture to do so.
-
Huh, one tiny thing i seem to like from the alpha is that the map soundtrack starts immediately.
I never really liked the current "camera-pan" noises it makes.
-
Yeah, i hope they'll also address Survivors dodging for no apparent reason.
-
Best to inform any friends you have that play DbD who don't go to these forums.
You might save them from a ban...

@Carpemortum said:
@Tzeentchling9 Asylum Exploit ban? I dont think I'm familiar with what you're referring to.
They banned the people abusing a bug related to that map.
Then days later, they got unbanned.
The bug required players to do specific moves, so none (or REALLY few) could accidentally do this bug.
-
Just started the game, didn't get a warning.
So yeah, that'll be fun for those running them for the regular reasons.
-
Met a guy from 2016 yesterday who had torso Legacy.
Then a week before that, there was a Jake.
So for me, out of the 5 rarities, i'd say Very Rare.

@legion_main said:
All these people are salty killer mains that want their 4K I agree if you haven’t been hooked the whole game and you happen to be last survivor then you should be able to get chances to escape especially if you have deliverance ready
And that sounds like a salty Survivor main wanting their Hatch escape.
-
Apparently, it's not going.
"It's like this because when there's only one survivor left, the killer is able to stand at the hook and hit them as soon as they manage to unhook themselves. Unfortunately this does mean that there are going to be times when you can deliverance yourself off the hook, hit DS and maybe find the hatch, but you also need to weigh all of those times the survivor isn't going to escape.
There are going to be plenty of times where the survivor isn't going to be able to crawl to the hatch or out a gate within 60 seconds, at which point the killer could just slug them for a while and then hook them. This scenario isn't fun for anybody and just ends up wasting everyone's time.
At this point, the game is more or less over and it's going to be more fun for everyone to finish it and move on to the next match."

Devour Hope without the Hex mechanic.

@Boss I think you misunderstood me, i never said he's as good, hell naw, they make him a joke. But he can end games fast, I just used them to emphasise my point.
Fair enough.

You can't lose points. Also if you break staff you gain points. It's camping that descrease the bps you will get.
Are you new to the game?
They more than likely meant points towards getting Emblems.
-
You heard him guys, every Killer start using Moris.
-
That i do not know.
Maybe you can get someone to test it out with you in Kill Your Friends?
-
It's not bugged.
Devs have explained why it does what it does currently.
They want Insidious to make it look like you're going away.
Insidious takes 2 seconds to activate.
Once it does, the Terror Radius starts shrinking over the course of ~4 seconds.
That's what you see on your Insidious Perk icon ingame.
-
Huh.
Nice and refreshing to see someone enjoy that.
-
More time doesn't remove the incentive to go away while it gives regular-speed Killers the time to kick the Generator they feel needs the kick the most.
+1
Not a big fan of option 2, i like how it is now.

@Boss which ones do you not agree with?
Looping isn't useless against Wraith.
Preventing the loop entirely is something he CAN do, but once he's there, the best he can do is speed it up.
Only against less-skilled Survivors can you stop a loop once it's going.
I do agree his chases can be very short, thanks to his ambush quality.
I often see a lot of people say "Oh yeah, i saw him from a mile away."
And i certainly do play against such Survivors sometimes.
But that's not cause of them, but cause of the Wraith player.
Sometimes i just cross the field to get to a destination.
But more often than not, i take the side paths.
Their vision is, at most times, obstructed enough by objects to allow me to get in close and get in the first hit easily.
Even if they notice me just a few meters away, the massive lunge after uncloaking more often than not gets in a hit.
And then the chase after that is very short.
Definitely disagree on him being as good as Spirit & Nurse.
MAYBE he comes close to them with the best Add-ons, but those 2 are still better just at base.
Wraith could really use something like being able to swing his weapon while being cloaked, but it'll Lightburn you whether it was a hit or a miss.
It'd be a great way to finish chases.
And the funny thing is that i still don't see that being more powerful than a skilled Nurse.
If i'm missing something on him, so be it. I don't mind learning more. 😊
But this is just how i see him. I only play him because i love how he plays.
-
Time to revive the good ol' suggestion for Wraith's Mori...
He starts by touching and holding them anywhere on their body with his right hand. (Not anywhere naughty though. 😜 )
Then he starts ringing the Wailing Bell with his left hand, which starts forcing the Survivor to cloak, which is the same as forcing them into the Spirit Realm. (The Realm that the Wraith, Nurse & Spirit use for their Powers.)
However, those 3 Killers have been altered by the Entity to be able to handle the Spirit Realm.
If a Survivor, who didn't get altered & only got picked from the real world and directly put into the Entity's Realm, is forced into the Spirit Realm like that, their bodies won't be able to handle it.
Their bodies will partially cloak and partially uncloak repeatedly.
They might even start foaming from the mouth because of the sheer pressure.
Eventually, which is after 2-3 seconds of torture, they'll die and the Wraith stops trying to "cloak" them.
-
You say they're triggered by skills, which i prefer to refer to as Powers.
So let's take Wraith for example, cause he's my ringing man.
He has something no other Killer can do thanks to his Power: Surprise hits.
You only have ~6 seconds to get this kind of hit in before you'll do a normal hit.
So if i were to hit someone with a Surprise Hit, TECHNICALLY it's a hit made possible only by a Killer's Power.
Would MoM activate in this case?

A good Wraith will not tunnel, he's an ambush killer designed to stalk and ambush his prey. If someone tunnels with him, they're very bad. A good Wraith poses a massive threat at rank 1, and he's got no counter (looping is useless since one cloak and uncloak can force the survivor to drop the pallet) a good Wraith can eliminate pallets quicker than any other killer except Clown and create a lot of deadzones. A good Wraith has chases that are about 20 seconds.
If you're facing tunneling Wraiths, then they're not good at all. A good Wraith can always get at least a 3k because he's strong. A GOD TIER Wraith (@Boss ) can do everything a good Wraith can and end games as well as a god tier Spirit or Nurse. Not in a little amount of time, but they end it FAST compared to the usual (7 mins for me to get a 4k)
What you said about Wraiths dishonours me as a Wraith player.
I disagree with all you said about Wraith and all you said about Freddy too. I'll let @DudeDelicious convince you why Freddy isnt bad.
I might not agree on some things you said here, but i do agree on some other things, + you put me in such a good spot, i can't be negative at all! 🤩
-
Would be cool if you only had like 4 bullets, can't get any more than that (not even through Add-ons), but you can down Survivors with headshots & kill Survivors who have been hooked twice with headshots.
-
Legends say, once you get rusty at playing Hillbilly, you can't remove said rust until the developers allow you to change customizations on Killer Powers, effectively removing the rust from the Hillbilly's Chainsaw, which in turn is the manifestation of your rust.
God, that dragged on.
TL;DR Play more.
-
Good for you!

Yes.

You're right. I should have rephrased the Question.
Do the developers care to do more than just the bare minimum? @Boss
Yes.
Otherwise dedicated servers wouldn't come.
-
I can't relate.
Nor can the Survivors i face.
I'm Wraith and whenever i run to them in the open while cloaked, they'll run.
-
They feed their families with this game, so of course they don't care.
-
Is that Dead Garden?
-
I don't think they'll stop disconnecting because of that.
In fact, it'll only incentivize others to dodge them, making waiting times only longer.
-
@MegsAreEvil said:
So that they can camp at the exact border? lol ... yeah buff those loosy campers theyre so important for the game harmony omegalul
Well right now they'll be about 2-3 meters off at most if they know their meters, so it doesn't matter if they know or not.
I mean i have come to known the lengths and sizes of many objects now thanks to Perks with range stuff on them.
-
Rank 5 on the 14th?
That's asking for slow lobbies.
-
Cause what this game needs is realism...

It is bug use and this is a bannable offense.
Wraith's Add-on called "Blind Warrior" - White had a bug for a while.
If you hit a Survivor with the Add-on equipped, they would lag incredibly hard, and would often disconnect from it.
But it wasn't bannable, even though it was a bug.
Why?
Because people could be using it without even knowing about the bug.
I ran this Add-on as a standard after healing got nerfed, and it was not visible AT ALL from my side that they were affected by a bug.
I only learned about it after a few days on the forums.
I don't see them banning for this, but since it affects Survivors in a bad way, i imagine they'll fix this quickly.
-
That'd give Whispers a lil nerf.
Idc, just putting that out there...
-
See ya' in 2021! 🤗

Maybe make it so your kick makes the Generator regress, but also make that specific Generator have Ruin Skill Checks.
And you can only remove regression & regain normal Skill Checks if you do a "Remove Damage" action that takes ~7 seconds.
This would make it so you could technically still repair the Generator, but you'd have to repair against regression & Ruin Skill Checks.
Idk, just an idea i made up in ~7 seconds.
