This would be way to broken against certain killers. Imagine Nurse not be able to blink, you would give your team 30 seconds of literally no threat. This is a hard no from me.
That’s the point though. It truly punishes killers that are tunneling and can’t continue to just “eat the DS.”
-
I made suggestion a while back, where I said that Kindred should be basekit without the killer aura reading part. Then, give the killer aura over to the perk, Camaraderie, Steve’s perk.
Aura Reading + More struggle time can give solo players a bit more time to make a move if the killer is camping.
-
I always thought that DS should deactivate the killers power (momentarily) just like Laurie knocked out Michael in the movie .Cut the timer to like 30-40 seconds and it would now definitely punish killer who are tunneling but ya’ll are not ready for that conversation.

Maybe in Fall Guys.
but seriously, very unlikely. For Smash Bros it’s way too small/niche.
It was a joke. Would be funny though

Clown and Twins aren’t as bad as people make them out to be
-
I can already see survivors going Plundering just to keep DS up longer + Higher Key chances = Killers complaining again

Garbage killer, overpowered add-ons. That's how I see him. Any buffs made to him need to keep his add-ons in mind. Like when they made Wraith faster, they made his windstorms weaker, and that's how they should do it with Myers.
Imagine. Tombstone piece built in basekit. Yikes.
-
They should definitely add the ability to see survivors auras once the last generator is completed.

Yes, get rid of tier 1 (except for scratched mirror) and allow him to stalk survivors indefinitely and at a GF range.
Yes! I forgot to mention that. Why is his stalking so limited.
-
I think Lery’s has 1 that the killer has to break. It is especially God-like in the endgame maybe except against a nurse but other than that the killer must break it .
-
Blight. Console player here.
-
Aftercare. The amount of times this perk has saved me or my teammates is insane. So good and severely underrated. I definitely recommend solo players to give it a try.
-
From Dashie. That dude made this game look fun as hell. And because Daddy Michael was in the game so it was a must.

Not gonna lie,it's hilariously sad that something like this can even happen.
Like,you didn't test that before advertising it ?
sounds like most updates.

The secondary effect is bugged. Fix unknown.
Probably never tbh, knowing the Devs. Cool concept though.
-
Isn’t there gens on that map that are bugged too? A 3 person gen can only be repaired by 1 survivor. I have seen this bug multiple times on those maps.
-
@danielmaster87 said:
They really do. You must take the aggro sometimes! If you hide every time the killer comes near you, you are forcing them to tunnel vision the other 3 survivors. If 2 survivors are doing this, he has 2 survivors to go for! If you're on death hook and you can't take the chase, go for it. But looping is way more skillful and wastes the most of the killer's time. I have had to stop playing SWF with some people because you could literally see how their stealthy, immersed playstyle caused us to lose. You will not progress as a player if you don't learn to chase, so playing in a stealthy way will hold you back massively. But people will argue to the death to justify this toxic playstyle.
Exactly, Thank You!!! This is what I mean. I get it if you are on death hook and have to do it but doing it the entire game, really? I don’t get how these kinds of survivors get to rank 1 seriously, they are pretty much carried there. They are the ones to usually escape because their teammates took the killer for a spin the entire game.
-
@Zeus said:
Stealth is the best way to play against killers like nurse though. I don't really mind stealthy players because it's usually a free hit if they get found. It's a thrilling experience for survivors, especially new ones and the killer has no idea where to find them and has to look. That's like playing outlast and hoping no one finds you.
Time to play Doctor I guess

It wont since it shows it upon a basic attack not with injures using your power if that power isn't a basic attack.
On another note i love using this perk on the twins and using victor to protect the totem, might even play the twins more when undying gets changed. That is if i can stand it since i hate playing them, i just like the perk on them since i have a chance to play more normally but i seriously hate having to slug and camp to win and you have to do that as the twins especially if devour gets cleansed.
Absolutely, I can’t wait for the Undying change.

@Blueberry said:
If you put this in the polls section you can give it a poll.
Honestly scrap the token consumption entirely and make it a reverse Fired Up.
Reduce the percent a bit and make it start at max stacks and lose a stack for every gen completed. Now it's just a constant passive without any token consumption's and it starts out strongest at the beginning of the game and gets progressively weaker as the game goes on.
IE something like gens still to be done 5/4/3/2/1, passive percent lunge increase 40/35/30/25/20%
Numbers to be determined, but you get the idea.
This would be nuts on a Tier 3 Myers. Imagine if he gets his Tier 3 at 5 gens up and has infectious fright. He would end the game in a minute. I don’t think the Devs would ever do something like this.
-
@ASpazNamedSteve said:
E: Same as now, except a token doesn't get used up if your lunge didn't exceed the normal range.
I don’t think the Devs will take the time for it to be the correct amount of lunge.
-
@TheClownIsKing said:
Turn it into Fire Up: a permanent incremental boost per gen.
That actually sounds pretty good. Would you increase the percent or leave it at 60%? That would make it 12% per finished gen.
-
@SilentHillOnDvD said:
I forgot that perk even existed, last time I saw it was when it first came out. It is not worth running at all
I never saw the perk on a killer when I play survivor. I can definitely see why now.
-
Ah yes, let me copy and paste the same DS rework idea that has been posted about 1,000 times.
In all seriousness the perk will still be abusable. I am pretty sure survivors will most likely stay around and do nothing, just to not make a waste of a perk slot. I wouldn’t say the perk is fine, maybe lower the number to 45 like you said is fine. Maybe the Devs should just buff Iron Maiden to make any perk upon entering a locker is disabled. To prevent any DS abusers.

I'd take outfits based on hours and characters played. For example if I mainly play Dwight and I have a few hundred hours I could unlock a cosmetic that's part of a set but that you can't buy for money or shards. Give me an incentive to play a certain character and make the cosmetics worth while. Imagine if there were cosmetics similar to Legacy but have a different pattern and color to them that you can get through play time on one character.
If I saw a Jeff with (As an example) 500 hour play time with all 3 of his cosmetics and they were designed based on Jeff, it would make me want to sink hours into him to get it. I feel like it would be like mount farming in wow. People throw several days away just to farm old school mounts. I believe many people would do the same here.
Would definitely be cool. It would make each survivor unique and special to play them.
-
I wouldn’t say I main them but I have been playing quite a lot with them. They are actually a lot of fun but can be frustrating at first when you miss with Victor, as it can be punishing. It’s funny because many survivors don’t actually know that you can crush Victor or know how to play against the Twins.
My current build is: Corrupt, Sloppy, Infectious and a perk of your choice. Tiny Fingernail and Stale biscuit (Could be buffed) for add-ons.
-
Definitely Clown. Big boi has a buff coming soon for him and has PGTW and Bamboozle, 2 solid perks.
-
Probably the maps. Kinda liked them at first but the Yamaoka ones are terrible. Miss the old MacMillan maps and the Autohaven ones.

I'm a horrible person but i run insidious for one play that i use once per match.
I get victor out and control charlotte but it looks like I'm controlling victor and camp 1 survivor once hit the huy coming for the rescue and get a free chase. It's a little dirty but also really funny because they dont see it coming, which is why i only do it once per match. Might not work so well anymore now that they've been out for a while.
I had 2 games where people sent me really angry messages and about 10 where someone congratulated me on a really nice trick.
I wanted to try something with insidious on them. You know that Ultra rare add-on where if Victor is crushed when in idle the survivor is exposed? I kinda wanted to use insidious to stay close to Victor with Insidious and use him as bait. I haven’t tried it though.
You should try it with that add-on.

@JPA said:
Apparently they can make some nasty Devour Hope build, in which Victor can body block or guard the totem.
I’ve heard about that but I think I’ll wait for the undying change to come to live servers, so I can combine it with that. Then it’ll be nastier.
-
@SilentPill said:
Funny, that’s actually very close to mine.
I have corrupt, sloppy, discordance, monitor.
I was using ruin undying for a while but want to get used to playing without it again.
Ruin + Undying is super good on them. I don’t use it as much (it’s disgustingly strong) it’s fun to sneak up on survivors that do your totems. Might give Monitor a try.

I just think he's kind of a redundant character. Like how could the trapper and pennywise exist on a similar power level. Trapper is literally a man with a machete
Didn’t he get bullied in the films by the kids? Perfect for Dead by Daylight, don’t you think?
-
I think we are a getting a Matilda Chapter

To me (my opinion take it or leave it) the animations should be more character oriented then what we have now.
I’m sure someone probably already posted this but it is a decent idea giving more character to the survivors when they are in all states idle,running,crawling,etc
for a example quinteion (yes I misspelled his name har har) his face should be droopy and his eyes would be closing and opening like he is trying to stay awake while he is asleep injured.
it is a great that they polishing animations I just feel like they could have done more. Again just my opinion.
Wow, I actually like that. It would make each survivor unique but I doubt the Devs will do anything like this. I think he does do that when he is by the campfire in the Menu.
-
They should just make it so that if a survivor fully heals, DS deactivates. Never really understood the “Deactivate after hooking another survivor” sorta thing. Doesn’t really make sense IMO. And besides, no matter what they do to DS, it will always be problematic.
-
Yeah, it’s pretty silly that they pretty much avoid any question regarding console optimization. I remember being so hype when it was mentioned that it would be getting the proper optimization, when was that, December 2018?
Seems that the only solution is to upgrade but that can be a while till most of us upgrade to the next gen.

Just whipped this up.. I don't play with non-brown addons most of the time so I'm not the best judge for this. But I think every killer obviously gets better, and the two that jump out are Huntress and Clown. Clown goes from worst to one of the best with Redhead's Pinkie Finger. Huntress is also obviously top tier with Iridescent Head. Turns out 1 hit kills are good!
Idk if Myers is top tier with addons. A good team can get all the gens done by the time he charges up T3 with both of his iridescent addons.
Wow, this Tier List makes all killers look good, thanks!
Seems close to right. Though I personally would move Myers to high S Tier or low SS. Myers can literally make the game a 3v1 at 5 gens if he times his Tier 3 correctly, using Tombstone Piece and a Increased Stalk add-on.
-
@Slashstreetboy said:
Not too much would change propably. Spirit would take the nr1 spot from Nurse I guess, but no addon makes Myers S-tier. Fragrant Tuft of hair, Tombstone Piece, these might bring him up to B tier at best, but it depends on what you´re basing your tier list on.
Against the average potato Survivor basically every Killer is A or S tier. Against very good Survivors, 9/10 Killers are C tier at best.
You might be right about Fragrant Tuft of Hair, but I still think that Tombstone Piece is pretty busted. Maybe not Iridescent Head level of strong but the ability to just instantly kill someone off the bat is really strong.

Both perks can be somewhat countered just by not being baited into a swing. So, for Dead Hard, you can make sure not to lunge at them and only use your quick M1 until you're confident they don't have Dead Hard. For Sprint Burst, I look for survivors who are conspicuously walking as I approach. That's a clear tell that they're saving their Sprint Burst until I get close to try to bait a swing and miss, so I just make sure not to lunge at them early.
Sprint Burst has a high ceiling, but in practice I think it's not as strong as it's made out to be; survivors tend to just waste time walking when they really shouldn't just to save / recharge their Sprint Burst. They'll also frequently wait for me to get right up next to them before using it to try to bait a swing and miss, which actually just limits the distance they make on me.
Dead Harding for distance is something you can't really counter in some situations, so if it's really bothering you you could consider things like Clown's exhaustion bottles, Huntress's exhaustion hatchets, Mindbreaker, Blood Echo, etc. You could also just use a killer with an instadown so that survivors need to choose between staying injured all match and being vulnerable to an instadown while healthy (since they can't trigger their exhaustion perk).
I usually never tend to struggle with Exhaustion perks when I play Bubba, that why I think he is a great killer. No, BL, DH or Lithe (unless they stayed injured, they usually don’t).
Like OP said, I might just give Blood Echo a try, sounds a ton better than Mindbreaker (Mindbreaker could definitely be buffed to 10-15 seconds if we are being honest). Yeah, I should definitely finish my Exhaustion add-ons for Huntress and Clown right before that are changed. I am pretty sure they will.
-
@BattleCast said:
Dead hard especially grinds my gears. It’s why I run Blood Echo or Mindbreaker so often.
I don’t mind when someone uses dead hard to avoid a hit but to gain free distance after screwing up, are you kidding me?
I forgot that blood echo existed. I still think that the cooldown number can be lowered to like 40 seconds. Why 60 lol.

@[Deleted User] said:
I really doubt this lol. If at least was a next gen console, but on a XONE?
Yeah, I was surprised too, especially since it was on an indoor map. I was playing Bubba, maybe that had something to do with it? If I was Doctor, it would have been a slideshow thats for sure.

I don't believe you. I can usually count each frame while chasing someone on Midwich. How many Victors did you have to kick for the Entity to give you that?
The Entity has reached out to me and told me to play Bubba. Bubba was the chosen one.

@Pulsar said:
Pretty sure that's illegal.
I haven't gotten above 30 FPS as Killer and I usually hover around 20.
Yeah, I thought that too. I was playing killer on that map, it’s usually a slide show.

Nurse. I surprisingly mained her on console, but after her change, she was really buggy (still is) and didn’t feel the same. I always liked using her add on less.

I honestly think they are pretty much fine. Just some add-on changes would be nice (mostly the higher rarity ones). Also, they should really extend the time when Victor finds a survivor in a locker, pretty weenie amount of time if you ask me.

I'm looking forward to collecting 100s of cakes for all my killers so I can alleviate some of this game's soul-crushing grind.
Oh, I forgot about cakes. Can’t wait for that 105% more bps. In all seriousness, they really shouldn’t make the anniversary offerings hard to find. If I remember correctly, in year 4, they were pretty easy to find in the first few days. Then they were about 1 every 3 bloodwebs.

I think you have to let your game finish updating. You should wait for it to fully update, to 100%.
