Weirdest thread ever.
Agreed

This happened to me quite a lot but it didn’t stop me from playing. Yeah it can be frustrating to play but it can help you improve by a lot. I main nurse now.

think this is the dummest question I saw on this forum and I saw a lot
Nah it’s just more of a discussion than a question and beside I’ve seen people asking for a Noed, spine chill and resilience nerf or a DS buff.

Since we are adding kids
Can we had disabled survivors as well. Like one in a wheelchair would be fun to play
That would actually be pretty sweet, but how would they vault?
-
@xenotimebong said:
Come on, you already know the answer to this. Behaviour doesn’t want to add kids to their game where people are chainsawed in the back, slashed with various weapons, caught in bear traps, murdered and have their organs eaten, and get thrown onto a meat hook. Because people would freak out and complain, for obvious reasons. It would be a stupid move and would open them up to negative consequences, and it really wouldn’t benefit them in any way to do it.
You probably gave the best response. :). Hopefully this doesn’t affect our chances of getting a Child’s Play Chapter and IT Chapter

"I know Dead by Daylight has a rule of having survivor to be 18+ years old to be in the game"
You answered your own question.
But I questioned my question by breaking the question by bringing up that Laurie is 17

That's why I said "most". I know that there are movies that do, but most do not. That's why I hate it when i see kids in horror movies. They try to create drama around the kid getting killed, but you know it's not going to happen, so the drama falls flat.
Now, Stephen King will kill anyone, including kids. You never know what to expect from him.
2018 Michael had an innocent kid get killed by Michael. Not bullied.
-
@illusion said:
The real question is "Why would anyone WANT to kill kids in the game?". Most horror movies don't kill kids, and even in the movies where teens get killed, they are usually played by older actors. Video games have been avoiding killing kids in games forever. Sure, there are some, but it's not worth the controversy. Not to mention, all of the content creators would likely get their stuff demonetized or removed. All would be bad for the game.
Pennywise would like to speak with you

Dude, you're dark.
It’s not dark. I would honestly let the killer take me and let any kid survivor live #IWillSacrificeMyselfForBillDenbrough

@FlamingkittyUmad said:
1) kids are smaller. they would be OP for hiding.
2) Violence including kids in your video game will get your game a heavier rating.
Lol imagine kids hiding in the yamaoka maps, yikes
-
@Keezo said:
Its not that characters chosen aren't 18+, its that everyone in the game is 18+, also just... kids would not be great for PR "look at this game where you can murder children"
I mean if you think about it the survivors never really die

Thanks everyone for the feedback ❤️

I have suggested before that survivors have to find like parts or something before they start the gens.
Exactly, if a survivor spawns in front of the gen and the killers spawns far from that gen, by the time the killer gets to that gen it will most likely be done.

@Steel_Eyed said:
Weird, I saw it as a buff.
Tier 1 Myers was unique. No perk can tell where he is coming from or see him. Spine chill now works against him
-
Spine Chill and Resilience with iron will is a good combo, it makes vaulting a lot better than it is already and a great build for players that run the killer around. Unbreakable is good with DS and good at high ranks since killers tend to tunnel and slug 50% of the time. Lastly, Sprint Burst is the best exhaustion perk, you can use it to get to a safe spot when the killer is going towards you on a Gen and counters any killer honestly. Hoped this helped :)

I pitched that earlier, but a flat 5-6% action speed and 1% movement speed per gen. On freddy that would cover the loss of teleporting when gens are done whild quickly punishing genrush. If there was risk to just mindlessly doing all gens as fast as possible it'd open up some strategy on survivor side. That's why NOED should never be messed with, by genrushing you don't look for totems and risk getting nailed
1% increase per gen is too strong. Imagine having a 5% speed on huntress or deathslinger which will completely make them really strong and annoying to go against.Its basically a free stack of Play With Your Food without the loss of the token.
This was my intention of the perk buff
Fire Up(The Nightmare Perk)- The increased pressure of losing your prey fills you with anger and gives you unsuspected motivation. Each time the survivors complete repairs on a generator, Fire Up grows in power.
For each Generator completed gain a stackable 3/4/5% buff to: Picking-Up a survivor, Dropping a Survivor, Breaking a Dropped Pallet, Damaging a Generator, Vaulting, Breakable Walls and Increased speed.
No speed increase while in chase.
-
Some of my faves apart from the usual perks Pop+Trilling, BBQ, infectious, Monitor, enduring, and spirit fury are Bamboozle and brutal strength which are really good to counter early dropped pallets and loops. Save the best for last is really good on him, you can prevent loosing 4 tokens with a tier 3 on the obsession so you only loose 2 tokens. Corrupt is probably the best perk on him because you only have to patrol a few gens and it gives you more time to tier up. Surge and I am all ears are decent on him, not the best but pretty useful. These are some neat perks on him maybe fire up is good on him because gens be flying by fast so it’s really up to you to decide what kind of build you want. Hoped this helped :)

Killer Perk:
Rage- When stunned 4/3/2 times, your rage builds up and activates the perk. Once activated, all survivors are in the exposed status until one survivor has taken a hit. When rage is on hold (has not been used yet) you Vault and Break Pallets 3/5/7 percent faster until the perk is used.
Perk will reset when successfully used
Survivor Perk:
Adrenaline Rush- Dropping a pallet while in a chase will allow you to break into a sprint at 150% of your normal running speed for 3 seconds, however if you stun the killer, you will run for 5 seconds at 150% of your normal running speed
Causes the exhaustion status for 60/50/40 seconds
You do not recover from exhaustion while running

You don't need a mori to Kill all 4 as spirit and Doc I did it without a mori
That not what I meant it. I meant players use Ebony Mori to get a easy 4K for the challenge which is pretty crappy, making Moris fairly common to take the easy way out for the challenge
-
@Botiz said:
I agree. Even on the poll they posted on instagram, more than half of people still haven't even gotten the Level 4 Coin Reward yet, 44% have, 56% haven't.
Yikes 44%! Haven’t seen it but that’s almost 50%. I feel bad for those who haven’t got theirs. Hopefully they do their best to get it.

They got all the money they needed when they made MoM one of the most ridiculously overpowered perks in the game on that DLC's release. Now that the DLC is old, nerfing that ridiculous perk that seemingly was intentionally made more powerful than the old Decisive Strike doesn't hit their wallets.
When you say it like that, it sounds like they scammed us lol probably true

@BattleCast said:
What loop are you talking about? you mean the fence loop that you can easily outrun? the standard loop with the car?
Yeah the one with the fence. It can be looped all the way inside of the school and out. Ever since they removed the door on the side of the school it made it even stronger. On top of that a pallet can spawn there.

There are stories that are told about one Killer. So dangerous is this Killer, that the Entity keeps it locked up until it feels like it's time.
Few have ever seen this super powerful Killer. It stands among the biggest of the Killers, and is known to use its size to pounce on pallets. I have seen it but three times (maybe a little more, but not much), and the sight of it is one to be feared. You will hear this beast before you see it. It's roar echoes throughout the trials as it shifts from dimension to dimension.
Some call it a monster, others call it a true hunter. But not me. I call it... the Demogorgon.
Jokes aside, seriously. Do people even play it?
I love to play the Demogorgon, he is a good boi
-
They should just make flip flop part of the base kit but a bit weaker, that way the killer prevents slugging.
-
a swf team should really limit them to using only 3 perks each. The fact that they have easy communication makes it harder for ghostface,Hag and trapper to do any good. Just my opinion
-
I’ll be sad if the game died but honestly the devs are the fault of it. The chapters and the fact that no other game is like this one is the reason that I play it. Also not having events killed this game, it was the closest we got to a “different” game mode, what the majority of the community wants. I wouldn’t say the game is getting stale for me but it’s getting there.
-
Well the plague has a infectious fright very similar to this, coulrophobia still should get a buff though
-
So I’m guessing you guys want a Fortnite chapter?
-
Overrated: Ruin, it’s a 50/50 if it’s going to do it’s job and players count on it to last a while but it doesn’t. Adrenaline, it’s good but better off using something else or bring a med kit
underrated: Corrupt Intervention,it is a guaranteed ruin for 2 minutes, this plus PGTW is a whole lot better than ruin and Stake out (hate going against ruin, this it the perk for you)

I understand. But you got three people backing you up with 12 perks, the killer can only rely on himself and 4 perks.
I guess your right, I usually only count myself because I get potato survivors
-
@Xerge said:
I don't think so, that would make bringing Lightborn a guessing game or completely useless. I think the killer needs to prepare, because survivors are able to bring more than one flashlight to the game and coordinate flashlight saves if they are on comms.
However, I think something should be done about lobby dodging, but something should also be done about changing your items right before the timer hits 5 seconds.
Well that’s kind of the point, the killer need to bring the perks they are comfortable with, many times as a survivor I bring perks that I don’t end up using
-
@NuclearBurrito said:
Nothing against this perk idea, but Vigil already has a useful effect.
If needed it would be better to simply make the effect stronger. And if a rework is needed it should still be an anti-status effect perk.
Let’s be honest though people only used this perk for the exhaustion effect and nothing else and besides most killer add ons effects stay permanently until hooked, so vigil is pretty much a dead or gone perk and besides I doubt the devs will bring back the idea of exhaustion going down while running the killer
-
@Snort said:
@BabyCameron10, Everything seems like a normal perk description except for that one y'all sticking out near the end.
But I agree that this is a good idea.
Fixed it for you love <3 not the best but improved a bit

@CrtKazz said:
Vigil is an awesome perk if you’re a survivor who likes stacking exhaustion perks or has a high success rate of losing the killer in a chase. Eight seconds can make a difference in play making and if used with aura reading perks, can help teammates in similar situations. All depends on the play style of survivor. Give killers more tools to provide status effects and vigil may feel more viable to more people.
If Sloppy Butcher was a timed status effect, vigil would probably be good

Pharmacy is really, really good. Don't dis it.
It’s decent but there’s better options
Self Care, inner strength, Bond, a Med-Kit with add one or even Second Wind

Quentin has viable perks?

survivors will still have their 3 teachables to other survivors

This just an idea
