I’ve played PS4 and PS5. PS5 is much better. You’re still a bit hamstrung by the bad controller controls (this game clearly wasn’t made with console in mind and they’ve made absolutely no effort to update the controls since then), but the FPS is very smooth and consistent and it feels a lot nicer to play.
A lot of the console ports’ major problems seem to be better with the new gen consoles, but like you said, it will be a while before most people switch. :/
Yeah, I’ve heard it’s really good on new gen consoles. Makes me want to try it out but boy are they hard to come by.

This, the fps is horrendous... Makes going up against survivors who spin around in front of you swing and miss like 10× cause from my perspective I see 2 frames per second of the survivor to react and it's impossible. It's literally a joke that this has gone for so long unfixed. Especially on the silent hill map, frames drop so nasty... You would think the only way for the killer to apply any pressure is to get up close to a survivor after a hard chase and for it to be impossible to hit them literally 1 cm away from you it's a freakin' clown show, like it should be a guaranteed hit if the are literally touching your body, should be a on command hit not a wonky pray you hit them hitbox BS system.
Yes! This and grabs screw me over so many times. I have also noticed that indoor maps run like garbage, stack an indoor map and a killer that drops frames, it’ll be one hell of a slide show.

I don't usually have Issues with fps (Xbox One here) but when I do, it's BAD. So I do think that's a factor, but it's honestly seeing keys, flashlight clicking, teabagging, and just all-around annoying survivors every other match that pushed me to get used to playing survivor - and once I did, I finally felt like I could relax and play matches without rolling my eyes at seeing the same stuff most of the time.
Maybe it's just bad luck on my end, but playing killer just became irritating and more like a chore than anything. When I play survivor I'm not on my toes every second of every match and it feels great. I still play killer but probably not more than like five matches at a time. I'm just burnt out from it and I think a lot of people feel the same way
Yeah, playing killer isn’t very fun (especially at the high ranks). If you don’t have at least 1 slowdown perk, the game will go crazy fast. The Devs should really look into giving killers some type of early slowdown or add default perks that every killer can get access too. Majority of Slowdown perks have to be brought or are a grind to get.

This is the major reason why survivor queues take longer. While the killer-survivor ratio on PC is pretty balanced, other platforms aren't as much.
Before cross-play, you would have certain platforms complaining about 15 minute queues. Now everybody is complaining about 5-10 minute queues. Although I guess during the day time, survivor queues are still instant.
Yeah, they are pretty much close to instant during the day as for the night, not so much. I do think that no game should ever make you wait that long to play.
I was very disappointed when cross play was introduced first before actually optimizing the game on the PS4 and Xbox, very bad move on the Devs.
-
It’s usually when playing a certain killer or map for me. The Doctor, Blight, Pyramid Head, Nurse, Billy, Spirit, Oni, Demogorgon and Nightmare are usually killers that tend to not play out the best (30 fps, and drop more as the match goes on).
Maps like Haddonfield, Hawkins and Lery’s are awful for both sides, especially killer. But you know, this is “Normal” according to the devs, as they don’t care nor listen to the community.

I haven't tried it yet, but my guess is no. At least no other auras of other perks work on victor
I think spirit can still see the survivors locations with Rancor when she is using her power, I could be completely wrong though, but I am pretty sure she can. Shouldn’t it be the same be with Victor?
-
@Boddy604 said:
Exposed is exposed. Victor cant Mori em tho lol
No, that’s not what I meant. I was referring to the location of survivors, if it still shows where they are at when using Victor.

I think they are an amazing killer, I do think their add-ons are not the best. They really should’ve haven them a UR add-on that makes survivors not be able to vault with Victor on them, something cool like that.

I just use her as a Cloaked Wraith. Body block gens and pallets. Especially gens that have one entrance to get into, like the one from the bathroom on The Game. I agree though, they should decrease the time to change to Charlotte.

Nonsense. I think ruin / undying / discordance is almost the strongest perk combo for killers that has ever existed. The only one better was old ruin + pop. If I am playing well and ruin undying stays up for 2-3 minutes it has usually already done it's job. If you interrupt the early-game gens while getting a hook in or two it hard carries.

I am still farming BP but I really want to try coup de grace on Myers. He seems like the best killer in the game for it. I believe him and Ghostface are the only ones who are gonna get full value from it.
I forgot about Coup de Grace. Yeah, I think it would be good on Myers. I would just use tokens when at Tier 3, to get the most use out of the perk.
-
@Chilli_man2400 said:
Does PGTW work with oppression does kicking a Gen apply the 25% regression to other gens
From what I know, no. It only applies to gen that was kicked, that would be nutty if it did.
-
@DaKnight said:
I tried it a few times early on, and no not really.
If someone is on a gen I almost always see them fail the skillcheck anyways, so you typically know where to go without surveillance. If they don't fail the skillcheck it won't do anything at all for you. If a random gen is regressing across the map, it's usually not super useful to know.
You might get some random information throughout the game but it's not nearly as effective as the usual ruin / undying / surveillance wombo combo.
Well, I guess that frees up a perk slot. I still would give it a try. Maybe I’ll swap surveillance for PGTW, just to, “Slow the game down, just a little bit!”

I forgot to mention that. Yeah, Killer fps is so bad on Xbox one, I main Demogorgon, so it’s usually bad.
-
Demo boi. Love playing as him and against him. I really do think that he is the definition of a balanced killer, has great chase music and his design is overall my favorite.
-
Yeah, I think her cosmetics and her voice acting is great, they really did do a good job for the voice. I do however think that her default outfit is kinda ugly though, they should take a look at it, same with Myers.

Yes, but blight still has m1 chase potential, so to truly learn him fast and keep the stomps closer to the start rather than dragging them on for a longer period of time time overuse your power, until you learn when you more can and can't use it to get a hit rather than hold it and never use it
Would you happen to know the best add-ons on him for someone that is new to him?

Easiest solution: timer goes down twice as fast if the survivor is doing an action such as repairing a generator;

Can you please explain. The reason I added that was to make the perk a anti tunnel perk so the killer is forced to either go after another survivor or take the stun.
The best way to put it is, how is doing your objective going to deactivate a perk? It is like saying, “after a survivor successfully finishes a generator, Hex: Ruin will be deactivated”. Never really understood why killers want to deactivate DS after hooking somebody, never made sense to me tbh.
-
@Chilli_man2400 said:
I have come up with a idea of how to fix DS without making it bad and making it fair for both sides here’s how I would change it.
After being unhooked or unhooking yourself, Decisive strike will become activated. While Decisive strike is active, when grabbed by the killer, succeed a skill check to automatically escape the killers grasp and stun the killer for 3/4/5 seconds.
. Succeeding the skillcheck will disable Decisive strike.
. Stunning the killer with this perk will make you the obsession.
. Decisive strike deactivates when the killer hooks another survivor.
so that’s my change I got rid of all it’s problems and made it so much better it doesn’t have a time limit anymore and the killer can deactivate the perk by not tunneling. Thoughts?
No going to lie but disabling a perk because someone got hooked, doesn’t make sense. I agree with OP, it was nerfed already and doesn’t need another nerf.

You should try the new event add-on on him + an add on that increases stalking speed, really fun.

Probably Aftercare. Still a very underrated perk but needs a few buffs. Very good in solo but I think Kindred get the jobs done a lot better. I would make it so you don’t loose your teammates aura when getting hooked and add a slight healing speed for each survivors aura (+10 healing speed per survivor)
-
They should’ve thrown in the Dwight charm in if were being honest.
-
I am surprised not many people said Legion. Tired of playing mend simulator.
-
If I remember correctly, wasn’t Myers immune to detection perks before Undetectable was introduced? Spine chill nor Premonition worked against him while he was at Tier 1, which made him very unique, most people haven’t noticed that change.
As for spine chill, I wouldn’t say it’s OP however, it does make stealth killers suffer quite a bit, my simple change would be to just make it 20-24 meters instead of 36. And increase speed to 10. Not sure why it’s 36 meters, if a survivor runs it, they are usually on the other side of the map by the time you go check a gen they were working on.
-
@CrowFoxy said:
Lock of Hair is bad, but doing that to it is a nerf. Don't see why you would do that. An EW2 add on, makes you start there? I like it.
Do you think increasing Undetectable timer would make it better? I just want it so you can make the most use of Tier 3 and sneak up on people while at Tier 3. So BBQ and TT would be good with this add-on. It’s based on the film where he was carrying Annie’s body toward the inside the house.

im not tryin to be negative im trying to polish and refine this. 10 seconds of t3 per t3 for the cost of a higher intial t3 is a good deal. i would still prefer it unchanged
t2 myer terror radius=16m /2=8 meters ande if you paired it with dead rabbit its -4meters so it just 4 meters at that point they would see ur red stain before they heard ur terror radius.
oh i see its like distortion or killers. but i dont like the idea of kindred having no affect that sounds like a campers wet dream.
oh i didnt think of that. it could be fun
If we wanted to, we could add hide red stain too on Bob’s Glasses. I just want Myers to be a scary killer and good at being stealthy. Ghostface and Oni did him dirty as they do what he does a lot better
As for Lock of hair, we can remove blond hair and make it Hair brush, and so on.
What did you think of giving him 110% at Tier 1, 10% increase in breaking pallets/Walls at Tier 3 and slight increase speed for stalking the obsession?
-
@zoozoom6 said:
i dont see the point in nerfing lock of hair like that
how much is considerably on bob's glasses? if your leaving Michel with 4 meters it might be better to just say undetectable
i see on vanity mirror you want boyfreinds memo and another affect but idk what you are talking about
no obsession chase animation is nearly worthless
half of rancor isnt good enough to be a very rare also rancor isnt even michel's perk it doesnt fit here
Well sir no need to be a Negative Nancy, allow me to explain.
The purpose of the change to Lock of Hair is that if you play Michael, the add-on is not worthless per day but might as well run infinite Tier 3 or Hair Bow. You only get a bonus 10 seconds on Lock of Hair from Hair Bow.
Bobs Glasses is 50% meters. Can have good synergy with Dead Rabbit and M&A. Close to his Tier 1 Terror Radius, while at Tier 2.
Vanity Mirror is basically boyfriends memo with a bonus. Trumps aura reading and detection perks. So if you use this add-on, perks like: Spine chill, Premonition, OoO, Kindred, Alert, Buckle Up, Dark Sense, Babysitter and Breakdown, will not work on him while in Tier 1 & 2. Will have good Synergy with Scratched Mirror Myers.
The obsession is just an added bonus, can be useful when playing against solo players.
Lastly, Clown Mask. The point of this add-on is basically to start at Tier 2 from the start and Synergize with his perks. As his perk are to ignore the obsession throughout the match. Can be pretty fun with nemesis.

Awesome! Nice level of depth, too. Seeing how badly Myers aged in DBD I think we can agree he is due to some changes.
Those are great ideas. I´d throw one more on top of them : Reduce the stalk penalty when stalking from range a bit. It´s too harsh, imo.
I also want to point out how creative you were with the new addons. They fit well into his theme of having huge diversity.
Hope they read it and maybe take something from it!
I am glad you like them! I would really love for them to look at him as he seems a bit “outdated”. Ghostface is better at stealth and Oni does his job a lot better. He can now be in between. I got most of the ideas on how he acted in the movie.
-
I would have to go with Daddy Myers and Demo. These two are probably the most fun to play and play against on both side as these two killers feel fairly balanced. I like to have fun in my games.

The reason killers do that is becuz of toxic survivors who bully the killer so the killer will play scummy towards future survivors.
This is stupidity. It's circular logic.
If u want to start something. It starts with YOU! You should blame it on other survivors instead of putting the entire blame on the killer. You should encourage other survivors to not be toxic.
Until u do this, constantly talking crap towards killers will further encourage them to play in this manner. And there is nothing wrong w it becuz its just normal game mechanic, at least the video u uploaded.
If u are a survivor and want to nerf killers, I should point the finger at other survivors first. And vice versa.
Oh really, I have seen survivors not Run Borrowed or DS and the killer will take advantage of it. No obsession = ez tunnel. It is really how the killers starts playing. This is why both of these perks are a staple in most of the high rank survivors builds and I don’t blame them. Until the Moris gets looked at, then they can look into balancing these perks but for now, they stay as they are.

Omfg I'm so tired of these sh*tbags. This was an immature, tired, waste of time of a post that was merely hyperbolic with no substance. Kids are mad they get killed and cant just start a new match. They say you're not a good player if you like Keys and Moris but then go "DoN't BuLlY mE iDk HoW tO pLaY oR lEvEl Up A bLoOdWeB sO I hAvE 2 eXhAuStIoN pErKs". You know who gets mad at being mori'd? Toxic players who have similar mindsets that sink this game on the forums and in play with some of the crossplay features introduced. If you dont like Moris and Keys, f*** off and play something else.
It makes NO SENSE that people will keep the incredulous shittalking going and STILL play when they dont want/like, ruining it a little more everytime for people like me who enjoy the game and getting better at it with each new mechanic or addition to the trials work.
I mean, come on, grow up, get out, and leave.
Players like you are part of the problem. You most likely treat all players the same as they are a 4 man swf. Trust me, not all players play toxic. Keeping Moris and keys in game makes the game easy for toxic players. For all we know, you probably play like this and rely on Moris.

That's far from optimal as you can't know for sure it's a mori. Tunneling in general is just extremely boring atm, the problem is more highlighted than ever with Decisive being bugged. It needs fixed in some way, killers like spirit being abused for it also. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I love this game, but when I try to introduce new friends to it, it gets tiresome explaining and reasoning about tunneling/camping again and again.
This. I have tried making my friends try it out but they up leaving since they barely have any perks and have to grind quite a lot and new killers tunnel like crazy. It really ruins the fun of the game.
-
@Babyyy_Boyy said:
I see you play on Xbox, why not just dodge the mori? It’s kind of your fault for playing it knowing that 98% of killers with an ebony mori first hook mori. I definitely agree with you though, first hook moris should be removed but look on the bright side, the devs confirmed that they’re going to be reworking moris and keys soon.
Hopefully it’s a shadow nerf. My goodness if everyone knows before they get nerfed, they are going use them like crazy.
-
I am very surprised nobody has said Pyramid Head. My goodness do they play so scummy. Freddy is a close one too.
-
The Temple Map was running fairly well in the beginning but in the middle of the match, my frames began to drop drastically. I was playing Demogorgon. So not a constant 60 fps.
-
Didn’t a lot of players say Spirit was weak on release? and here we are now lol
-
Yeah, they reverted them to the way they were before. Not going to lie, it feels really odd and I kinda got used to the right side flashlight saves.
-
Pennywise. (I don’t want to hear that he won’t fit because of “LoRe” Pyramid boi already proved that it doesn’t matter.
-
Yeah, Legion is a very badly designed killer. Here’s to hoping they will get a rework in the next 2 years.
-
The least they can do is be honest instead of stalling. I wouldn’t be mad if they said that it currently being worked on but at this point, I doubt it is being worked on. We will just have to see how it goes on September 8th, won’t we.
This is random but does anybody remember this one update where the game was actually optimized and running at 60fps? I don’t remember what patch it was (maybe the one where ormond was once disabled I think) the game was so smooth. I think they reverted it because it had issues. I hope I am not the only one who remembers this update.
