I thought BHVR gave these to everyone? Because a ton of people lost them at first so they just gave them out to everyone.

Even then, Pennywise or anything from Stephen King for that matter has just as much of a slim chance to make it into DBD, since there hasn't been anything in terms of video game content related to king's work in almost 3 decades by now.
True. Although I think BHVR tried to get Pennywise a while ago (The Devs are huge fans of Stephen King) but the License holders rejected because they were busy with the 2nd film.
I still think Pennywise has a pretty high chance of joining the killer roster. I am pretty sure the Devs will do anything to get their hands on him.

Isnt that the monsters ink char lol
Yeah lol. Jokes aside, If we were to get a monster type killer, Xenomorph would probably be the next fit. An expensive license, sure but he is the most fit for Dbd.
-
I agree. Mike Wazowski could be a great fit

While its a classic cheesy schlocky horror, I can't see killer based on it being that different from the clown we already have. Also the schlocky comedy nature of it probably grates on more than not.
But then we are getting 2x Onryo with Ringu so maybe.
You'd probably find pennywise more likely just because he's got broader recognition. Personally I think 'IT' kinda sucked as a story and film too. So I'm happy just with the current clown.
Getting a Killer Klowns chapter is pretty slim to none. Pennywise has a higher chance of getting that 2nd clown spot.
Although it would be nice to at least get a Jumbo Clown Legendary Outfit for The Clown. Hopefully the noises would be added with it.

What are they gonna do? Knock my block off?
a Killer Klowns chapter would be pretty fun, they could get creative and do a moveset with a hybrid of references. Plus there was that sequel that's been in production Hell for like the past 10 years so this would be nice
Wow there is a 2nd one in the works? Didn’t know that, Just makes me want them more. Yes, the move set would be insanely fun to see in game.

I loved this movie when it came out. I have not seen it in 30 years or so. I would love too see it in DBD but I doubt it happens s.
Anything can happen. I didn’t think we would ever get a Ringu chapter, yet here we are.

We have a clown killer.
I guess that is true but I mean this in the nicest way possible. That statement gets a bit old every time someone brings it up.
We do have 2 chainsaw killers. And besides it’s only a matter of time before Pennywise gets in the game. It’s pretty much the same argument to why people don’t want Pennywise in game. Who I think has a higher chance than the Killer Klowns.

@Marc_123 said:
Haha - i know this one.
Watched it just a few month ago again - stupid but fun movie.
But they are a bit like Clown already. You easily could bring legendary skins for him.
But i fear this is a far to little movie for that.
Current clown is pretty Meh. These Clowns can hook survivors in cotton Candy or a Balloon. They feel more like a clown.
I just would love to hear those noises they make after getting stunned by a pallet.

What’s that? Please don’t be another Jeepers Creepers like issue.

A Killer Klowns from Outer space chapter can be really interesting

It really needs to be divided into 2 maps. Such an atrocious map

Love it when my game freezes during mid chase or injuring a survivor causes my frames to skip and suddenly I'm at a complete different location. 👏
I usually only have the issue when playing as and against Nemesis or am inflicted with a status effect.
May I ask, Do you use an Ethernet Cable? I feel like many console players don’t really use one, causing the game to Hiccup here and there. It really makes a difference.

I really like this idea, but the one thing holding Pain Resonance back from becoming meta is the occasionally cruel RNG that will give you 2 hooks at the back of the map, one on the next map over and one under a duck.
I really enjoy using the perk but the RNG makes me feel mixed up about it .In a way it’s similar to Hex perks. You can go some games with massive value or none at all. The perk suffers the most on Big maps and 2+ floors maps.
Letting the killer decide what Hooks would really help the perk immensely.
-
Not a balance change but a QOL change.
Scourge Hook perks will now start the trial with 4 stacks. Hooking a survivor will cause you to loose one stack but turn the current hook into a Scourge Hook + perk effect.
This will let the killer choose which hooks to turn into a Scourge Hook and remove the RNG aspect. Giving the killer more control of their perks.
If you want to go even further, you get 4 Stacks per Scourge Hook perk. 2 perks = 8 Scourge Hooks. Maybe Gift of Pain will get more use with this one.

Interesting.
I saw a handful at the start of the event, but they seem to have teleported off elsewhere. Granted, I only play 2-4 survivor games a day, and mostly play killer.
I will say - I get it. His voice really adds so much texture to playing him, despite his huge design problem.
The voice lines gave him a lot of personality. I play solo and don’t really mind him for the most part. Didn’t really like him at first but he grew on me.
-
Pinhead, Twins, Myers, Demogorgon and Artist are really fun to verse. The chase music is great and being chased by them is just perfect. Sadly most of them are pretty rare-extremely rare to see, except Pinhead, he is pretty common.

Yeah, I just checked my Wraith's inventory and he had the Hallowed Blight torso too. (I didn't purchase any of that outfit). It's most likely a bug.
It’s a weird bug. I thought a recolor was probably added from the rift but boy was I wrong.
Hopefully when resolved they don’t mess with my current outfits.

This is more of a Twins problem that they'll never look into.
Nah, it happens to most killers. Twins just get more affected by it. Which is why nobody want to play them.

Yes. It’s really cool to see another Licensed Tome. And the Billy charm is so ######### adorable.
I really wished we got the chance to see a Stranger Things Tome but sadly I don’t think we will ever see it.
Seeing Saw get a Tome, makes me really excited for future Tomes. 10/10
-
Probably the upcoming Valentines David king skin. Looks pretty clean
-
I would give my left Nut to play on the old maps. I really miss the old MacMillan maps
-
I love the Nectar Vial charm especially on the Halloween skins.

If it’s not Alien, Pennywise, F13, FNAF or Scooby-Doo, I don’t want it.

How about making it like a healing Ruin?
If you are injured, healed up a bit and then cancel healing then the healing progress will regress when you are in the terror radius.
This comes on top of slower healing of course.
That is actually a pretty solid idea. I think players wanted Hemorrhage to do this.

Why don’t they cut the price in half of the things in the Bloodweb? Could be easier to do than removing perk tiers.
-
Yes, it could take a while but at least it’s confirmed that they are being looked at. It’s exciting news.

You are probably right. It took along time for Michael and Laurie to get a skin. Would be nice to get more skins for them when the Haddonfield map gets updated.

Would be nice if everything in the Bloodweb was half off during the blood hunt

So you want to take old Hex: Ruin
And just call it Hex: Huntress' Lullaby?
where's the logic behind this? It will still have the same problems as before which is screwing over newer players and not doing a damn thing against experienced ones
It’s more like if Hex: Ruin and Hex: Huntress Lullaby had a baby.
I thought Old Ruin’s main problem was that the killer had it at the start without doing anything and was overused by the player base? And besides, the idea of Huntress Lullaby would fix majority of the issues old ruin had before
You would have to build up the perk by hooking survivors, similar to Devour Hope. No more red skill checks at the start of a match. The killer will have to hook survivors to get use out of it. This will lead to less tunneling from the killer if they want to get actual use of the perk and rewards them for doing their objective.
Skill checks will be more difficult to hit. With the Skill check sound cue decreasing overtime + cursed survivors need to hit great skill checks to gain gen progress. This will catch survivors off guard, including veteran players. No sound cue + Great skills check only = Really Tough skill checks.
Optional- Random dull Totem will light up, upon receiving stacks. This will prevent the killer from getting their totem cleansed at the start of the match. Other Hex perks should do this.
As for Newer players, Do Bones. I’m just kidding. They are a lot of ways to counter it. Perks, Maps, prevent getting hooked (if possible) Just do what you do to counter other Hex Perks. They will have to adapt eventually.
Besides, although I liked the idea of buffing Huntress Lullaby, it wouldn’t work out. Color blind players have a difficult time seeing the red skill checks.

It stands to reason you could change the physical shape of "cursed" skillcheck zones rather than using color alone.
And this actually does make the Perk more interesting. I had thought you simply wanted old ruin across all 4 Survivors at 0 stacks at the onset of the game. But a Per Survivor effect would be interesting.
Hex: Huntress Lullaby
- While Hex: Huntress Lullaby is active, Hooking a Survivor Curses that Survivor and grants a Token.
- Cursed Survivors lose x/y/z% Generator progress when hitting a Good Skillcheck.
- Hex: Huntress Lullaby grows in power each time you Hook a Survivor, gaining 1 Token, and affecting Repair and Healing Skill Checks:
- 1 Token: shortens the time between the Warning sound and the Skill check by -14 %.
- 2 Tokens: shortens the time between the Warning sound and the Skill check by -28 %.
- 3 Tokens: shortens the time between the Warning sound and the Skill check by -42 %.
- 4 Tokens: shortens the time between the Warning sound and the Skill check by -56 %.
- 5 Tokens: disables the Warning sound.
0 stacks, no lol. I really wish it be changed to something like that, maybe add, perk will light up upon receiving stacks. Although it should be like this for most Hex perks, I am looking at you Third Seal.
Yes, I approve. I really do think Huntress Lullaby has potential to be good. I just want Huntress to have a least a good teachable. Every killer should.
-
@AnObserver said:

So, to clarify, you want Hex:Huntress Lullaby to literally just have old ruin integrated into it?
Buffing old ruin with stacks to reduce skillcheck noise notifications so it's even more oppressive on new players?
kinda.
1 stack = 1 Random survivor affected
2 Stacks = 2 Random survivors affected and so on.
by the time you get to 5 stacks all survivors are affected and skill checks no longer give notification. It’s a useless idea anyway, I forgot about color blind players. I’m just going to throw the whole idea out the window.

I would argue she's the Laurie Strode of the Scream series, but she is not included in DBD. Is there any particular reason why?
because her 3 teachables would’ve been OP. (Joke)
-
@BlackRabies said:
Red colored skill checks will never be added back to the game as color blind people won't ever see it.
I forgot about that. Welp
-
@AnObserver said:
Old Ruin was a noob stomper with little effect on Vets that the Killer had to put 0 effort into.
Unless it only happens at max stacks of Huntress lullaby, that's a no from me.
But that’s the beauty of it. With little to no skill check sound, survivors will have to hit great skill checks in order gain progress on a gen.
It would be useless if you had to have max stacks to gain its effect and besides, the killer still has to hook survivors in order to get tokens. So not the same at the start as before.

Generally.
Most of bvhr perk buffs don't actually address why the perk is bad.
Like as nice as not losing stacks on Furtive Chase is, it's still a useless buff you get and the perk is still only useful as am obsessing switcher which is becoming less.
Exactly. The perk is still awful and will not be use by many players.

Not everybody thinks Twins are bad. OhTofu put them in S Tier this week on his high level killer list, and Otz has them between A and B tier.
You seem like the person that if they put Clown in S tier and you would believe them. I get it they are good killer players but not everything they say is reliable

My prediction is it will get a very slight nerf (something like a slightly smaller radius) so the devs can claim that they nerfed it while still leaving it broken AF
