Are Perk changes underwhelming?
I bring this up because I noticed No Mither apparently received a change I did not know of. Out of the ideas the community had on changes to the perk, they just increased the numbers, which is a huge disappointment.
There were ideas of Starting the trail at full health but unable to heal later in the trial. To prevent the killer from knowing the perk is at play and get some use out of it.
Escaping would grant bonus Bloodpoints. Since it’s a “Hard” perk to use
There were probably more but I could only think of these from the top of my head.
This something that the Devs are still doing, an example is the “New” Buckle up. They just increased the number again? The Buckle up changes are just laughable.
They were ideas thrown at the Devs of giving a Borrowed Time effect or Speed boost to the survivor in the dying state which yeah it can be strong but isn’t that the point of a PTB? Try things to see if they are a problem of not?
Yes, It probably is more work to rework a perk completely but at least they don’t have to worry about revisiting it in a while. I don’t get why perks get changes only for them to be back to square one.
Anybody else feel the same?

Generally.
Most of bvhr perk buffs don't actually address why the perk is bad.
Like as nice as not losing stacks on Furtive Chase is, it's still a useless buff you get and the perk is still only useful as am obsessing switcher which is becoming less.
Exactly. The perk is still awful and will not be use by many players.
Number changes are typically underwhelming if the impact isn't that significant.
Its not that perk chamge are underwhelming its just that the meta is too strong specially for survivor.
Just this mid chapter the change they did to boil over and dead man swich are really good. Some other perk are a miss like wake up and furtive chase.
Like i said before any change they do to survivor perk will ne worthless if the perk is not op. For a survivor perk to be meta or to be play more they need to beat CoH, DH, BT, IW, DS, UB, Adrenaline, etc... beating that its really hard but it does not mean the change they do are bad.
For killer its a bit different the meta for them its all about gen speed so any buff they them need to affect a gen related perk and its really simple its can the perk take the place of my corrupt, deadlock, pop and scourge hook pain resonance if not then its not then the next thing they think is can the perk be good on a certain killer if the answer is yes then you have a good chance to see the perk be use on that killer.
So the biggest issue with all the change they do is the meta the dev create and refuse to nerf or change. The game need constant buff and nerf but they dont do that the meta change a bit once every year that not enough.
It depends, sometimes perk changes make a real difference like with the Dead Man’s Switch perk now working on all hooks instead of just Obsession hooks, and others like with Furtive Chase where the perk effect of being harder to hear during a chase is still useless so it doesn’t matter that the effect isn’t lost when the Obsession dies.
Sometimes they are a hit, sometimes not.
The No way Out changes had me so thrilled and excited as a killer player
