And how do you know what I have to back it up? You know nothing about me at all.
Your also going to assume I main Twins simply because you see a profile pic of the Twins. That's literally been there for not even a week. They aren't my main at all, I just regularly change my profile pic to whatever killer I'm having more fun on recently.
How do i know you're a bad player? You stating that victor requires a trained muscle memory and body blocking with charlotee requires skill, that's a big giveaway.

And now you're gonna attempt to belittle? It's quite possible to have a normal conversation without trying to insult the other person.
I think you need a few more hours and experience into the game.
nono i think you're one of those players with high playtime but not much to back up for, the killer you main says a lot

Are we really gonna name call because you disagree? I have a lot more hours into the game than most people
Did i touch a nerve by simply calling you a potato? You have a lot more hours so you should be able to tell the difference between an easy killer and one that requires skill. Kinda funny how a player with at least 1k hours claimed that "victor needs muscle memory'.

Was that warranted? Did you wake up this morning and thing, jeez I need to put on my big boy pants and go to the form and tear someone down? You need to read the things you write and ask yourself....does this make me sound self involved or a jerk...then maybe don't post it as it adds nothing to the conversation.
Dude you basically assumed that i didn't play twins/freddy thus, didn't understand how 'complex' they are. Im just returning it back to you

You have to learn how to micromanage going back and forth understanding when you should or should not swap. You also need to learn the muscle memory for victor such as know your distances for how far you need to be back to make it through windows or over pallets.
This is much more skill level than the the average killer requires.
oh yeah there's so much muscle memory needed to get good with victor, jeez man are u a potato

I feels like folks who say The Twins are simple have never really played them. You're basically playing chess with Charlotte and Victor. You can easily be punished for any wrong move. It's a shame how some folks can't see their difficulty level.
i am a killer main and got to rank 1 100hrs in, bought every dlc and have all killer perks in the game. If you think holding m1 and 'aiming' to latch on to a surv is difficult, that you probably are pretty bad
-
@Axe said:
My playstyle has always been revolved around creating pressure on survivors outside gen pressure. The Twins just fit my slugging and "heal or it will backfire later" playstyle perfectly like The Nurse and The Oni who are also my mains.
the difference with oni and nurse is the skill needed to play them and the 'backfire' is a much bigger deal. With Oni you lose your power, nurse doesn't backfire as much but she requires a lot skill to use. Victor grows back literally after getting crushed and getting hits is no challenge, glad they nerfed Victor's CD

"just because a killer can't do well against red ranks, doesn't mean that they're easy to use."
I never said that. Also, all killers can do well in red ranks.
"Freddy and Twins over-reward players for doing simple things, sure these simple things won't apply to good survivors, but against a non red rank, it's an easy win"
The things Twins are doing is not "simple things". Also, winning at low ranks is pretty meaningless as then they're just losing because their bad. We don't balance around bad.
Then explain to me what is so complex with Twins.
-
There are too many comments here and i cba to reply to all of them.
My initial point was stating how easy and these 2 killers are to play, and how much they over-reward players for doing basic #########. Yes these 2 killers are bad against good players, but against your average solo team, it's not much of a challenge.
-
@Blueberry said:
Since when has anyone called Twins easy? That's a first for me.
I actually disagree a lot. She has heavy micromanaging skills with bouncing between the two characters and learning the muscle memory for Victor. There's much more than you see at face value.
You can see this play out in your matches as well. How many actually good Twins players do you run into? Very, very few for me. I win most my solo queue matches I get against Twins because most people can't get the hang of them or understand how they work.
If they're so easy why do most players of them even at rank 1 do pretty poorly?
I typically slaughter on Twins and 4k most my matches, but that is the polar opposite of what I see when I face against them.
just because a killer can't do well against red ranks, doesn't mean that they're easy to use. Freddy and Twins over-reward players for doing simple things, sure these simple things won't apply to good survivors, but against a non red rank, it's an easy win
-
imo sloppy is the only slowdown u need, replace surge with corrupt.
-
My first match was actually super good, bought the game after 2 of my friends asked me to (they played like 2-3 matches before). Went against a wraith on sanctum wrath and the map made it so much scarier.

Look for SupaAlf's yt video on nurse.
Firstly, if you're going with the one blink one hit mentality that's one way to lose blinks to 360/DH/LoS breakers etc. Use your first blink to position yourself and the second to hit. 1 blink hits are good since there's almost no fatigue but a miss swing will cost you way more than the fatigue from the second blink.
As for DH, there is so much you can do... Sorry but DH is VERY OP against Nurse. Try to memorize who has it and try to bait it by blinking close to the person then charging up the second and let go into fatigue so he'll DH and you're at a blink distance.
If the survivor is GOOD against Nurse and has DH to play with It's YOUR time to be unpredictable. Go for 1 blink swings into 2 blink swings into delayed blinks or delayed swings, the survivor must not "learn" how you're going to play 'cause if he does it He'll bait your swing into DH every single time.
For shortening blink distances you just need to know your normal blink distance and look down to the position you WOULD be if not fully charged. It takes time but you'll get it.
If gens are flying by I can almost guarantee to you that you're wasting too much time in chases. With Nurse is really hard to measure time since She won't bloodlust and her power doesn't seem that much of a time consuming thing but with 2-3 missed swing and blinks you'll probably have wasted more than 20s.
If double backs are a problem to you, learn to go for "1st blink -> charging the second -> forcing fatigue (just hold m2)". If the survivor is just a double backer (not a double-double-backer) he'll run right into you and by the time you get out of fatigue You'll have 2 blinks to get him and he will be at a blink distance.
Thight corners, shack, LoS breakers etc. You'll need to give up on the "hit on first blink" mentality right away. If you've lost LoS You have to measure the distance that the survivor got and from there do 2 things:
a) if he's at a blink distance you need to blink WHERE you've lost LoS and use the second one to adjust and hit the survivor. You need to learn the chained blink windows so you can adress your surroundings before going for the second one. One of the most used juke is to go to a corner and hold CTRL so the Nurse won't have any LoS from the survivor when she blinks, learn to do quick flicks so search the area.
b) if the survivor got TOO much distance, is better to use your first blink to cut them 'cause even if they double back you won't loose too much distance as if they only held w.
There's a lot more to say but go for SupaAlf's video and play more of her, you'll need a lot of time behind her to trully get the grip of her power.
thanks for your time, will add these to my playstyle

See, you get it. Anyone who disagrees with this post right here is only doing so because they just don't care about randoms and only want to play with their friends regardless of how damaging to the game it really is.
i think you should word that better, there's nothing wrong with playing with friends, you just gotta understand that you're on the winning side and not call the killer out

If you use an Ormand or Haddonfield offering, don't expect ANY form of mercy from the killer you are facing. Using those offerings is a direct declaration of WAR against that killer. Expect to be tunneled, camped, quad-slugged, anything that killer can think of to punish you for forcing them to play those maps. If you are running a Breakdown squad, it will be 1000x worse.
Remember, you brought this on yourselves.
Ormond isn't bad, Haddonfield is bad but Chapel needs to be deleted
-
Spirit and PH need a nerf, idk how you would fix deathslinger.
-
i play on pc, and always have higher fps on survivor, constantly getting 55-60 fps on ultra 100% res. But as a killer, in maps like asylum or chapel, i often drop to 40 even with low settings and auto adjust.
I also have to adjust my display settings to 100% (default 125%) to avoid mouse input delays

Killer sided game btw

wow buddy you baffle me, you expected that i have made a goddamn list off TTVs ive gone against? I could start by keeping records now but what for? i have nothing to prove to someone like you
-
A majority of TTVs are OoO bullies.
I went against one as a deathslinger and he was constantly teabagging me with OoO, downed him after having the last 2 of his teammates on hook and waited for him to bleed out instead of hooking. Checked his stream on my phone (with a huge delay) and saw him talking ######### about how toxic i was and reported me lmao

For this first part you talk about, you cam actually tell when she begins phasing. It's a little difficult to tell at first, but once you get it down it's reliable. Basically Spirit has several animations which go in a loop, and they flow together fairly smoothly. However, when she begins phasing, this cycle will reset, and her body will shift back to the position at the start of the cycle. It can seem hard to differentiate at first, but it is fairly clear as this movement is unnatural, and will happen pretty suddenly. With practice, however, this allows you to reliably tell when the Spirit is phasing.
Obviously knowing when she is phasing will only do so much, but at the very least you'll be able to tell when not when to vault into her.
interesting, do you have a link to a video?
-
@danielmaster87 said:
There is so much you can do during her phasing. Double back, crouch to make yourself quieter and then change directions, act like you're gonna loop a place and then run away from it, slow vault a window or pallet, throw the pallet down from the direction you ran to it, find a teammate so your tracks will be muddied. There is so much counterplay, unlike Nurse. Your priorities are wrong.
The things you say dont apply to a STRIDOR spirit, even with iron will she can easily hear you
-
@swager21 said:
play a quiet character with iron will (preferably ace or tapp). when you crouch itll feel like you have tier 2 iron will. but dont worry most spirits suck because shes mostly played by trash players because of her broken power.
OR if you want a direct counter:
this sucks but: bring iron will and no mither, it nullifies the effects of stridor. not very ideal but its technically a way to counter stridor
hm didn't think about that, she won't be able to hear anything. But it is a risk

If she's new/bad, stridor can be an handicap since it make even regular breathing, and injured sound, louder in general, you can double back for example, or going into a place with line of sight blocker, sometimes they will think your right in front of them and they will sto phasing, when in reality your on the other side of the wall.
this is me as a spirit lmao
-
@sulaiman said:
Always asume she is just standing still when you choose your way (as in "never run up to her"). As long as you have line of sight, move away from her, and into los-breakers. as soon as she lost line of sight, you try to juke her in a wide arch (no running there).
Most spirits will try the "stand still fake", when you drop pallets early, which you deny them by moving away. After that, they have to use their power to keep up with you. They use the best projected path you might have taken when los broke, so if you juke them (idealy near a running gen or a fireplace) and go into the direction they came from (again, in an outward arc because of stridor and the fact they most likly try to shortcut your path) they might have already lost you.
However, on reworked maps it becomes harder, because the stealth element and thus the places you could have gone were nerfed, so a lot depends on which map you got and on which part you are.
In my experience, it works on about 80% of spirits (with stridor), but on the good ones it will only work once, if at all.
If you are in a close chase, you have to take guesses how the spirit might move around a loop, and here you have the 50% gamble the killer normaly has. Spirit just turns the guessing on you instead of the killer.
jeez i barely try juking killers by crouching around fireplaces but ill give it shot. Might wanna try to not give her the first hit

Lately, I saw a lot of killers complaining about survivors being overpowered. This is not true! How about all killer crutches? Ebony moris, iridescent head, infinite tier 3, all a free win! How about all the weird hitboxes and dead hard that often bugs? How about the indoor maps? How about the stats that devs showed that told that killers had a 60%-75% kill rate depending on the killer? I meen, yes ruin nerfs maybe have dropped the numbers, but they are still perks like corrupt intervention that allow killers to stop generators early game. Killers have noed, to. So the kill rate must be around 50%. Killer mains, explain to me why survivors are overpowered.
On a side note, I am not doing this post to tell that killers are overpowered, I get it, they have a few issues like 4 man swf, all I am trying to do it to convince killers complaining that the game is balanced.
if you think killers are op (with the exception of spirit cause she's busted), then you're probably a bad survivor. Once you learn how to loop and make full use of meta perks, the only time you'll lose is against a god nurse
-
so there really isnt a strat huh
-
just make it so we don't hv to open gates for it to activate
-
@BioX said:
If they are actually good I would.just move on to the next game, it's otherwise a waste of your precious time
i usually do that but i'm also bad in looping a bad spirit, as long as she has stridor and im injured, i hv no strats
-
i do hate this game but there always matches where it's really fun where-
As a killer in an open map and constantly pressuring good survivors
As a survivor with a good team against a good killer (not spirit)
-
Doing that will make it super hard for deathslinger to hit shots from afar, his ads sens is already low enough you can't consistently hit far range flicks like other fps games.
I personally do not know how to change deathslinger without completely reworking him, although i think his add ons could use a rework
-
got mine before the buff 2nd try against survivors who don't look behind in the game map
-
I quite like what they did with OoO, only wished the cooldown was higher. Now stealth killers and MAA users could actually have a chance sneaking up.
The current patch gives survivors a new OoO and an op lucky break, which means meta survivors will have to get rid of 2 perks (not to mention having to pair iron will with lucky break). Meaning we'll be seeing less unbreakables, so more slugging, less ds, so more tunneling and less exhaustion perks, so easier chases.
Most iri killer add ons are kinda bad, but huntress' is insanely op, i'm a terrible huntress but with her iri head could easily 4k
IMO twins need a rework as they have a really toxic playstyle and demo's buff is small but will still benefit players.
-
platforms like instagram and onlyfans are also blocked
dont get why this game needs a chat filter, it literally states that this game was "Intended for mature audiences" with their bs "violence, blood, gore"

I just played nurse, for about 3 weeks, and I instantly got into top %, and destroy survivors honestly every single match unless its lerys or coldwind. Nurse isn't that hard, she even takes less skills than any other killer such as pig and spirit, if you don't trust me you can try her, she needs a nerf, even as a rank 1 it is extremely sweaty to play against a purple rank nurse, she is more broken than anyone.
Aww, did a nurse get you when you were self-caring on the corner?

she’s easy to play. sorry nurse mains, you’re not good for blinking through walls, past pallets/vaults, negating distance. things that other killers need to work around or break. they are also not good for predicting people, it’s easy to predict survivors if you play both sides.

How did you get the premonition one? I thought it wasn't possible since I had tried it for over 10 games in a row.
This was an easy one. You have to point at the killer twice (wait for the animation to fully play out or else it won't count, so don't spam the emote), once you see the killer coming at you just start pointing
-

I decided early on not to sweat this rift, because I didn't like any of the prizes that much. Just playing casually, I got to tier 41, and I can't imagine grinding out the other half.
The silliest challenge this time was definitely stunning the killer with a pallet that you already reset, but I also didn't like that some of the generic killer challenges were blocked by Nurse challenges -- meaning, if you don't/can't play Nurse, you can't get the other challenges either (I can't play Nurse because the VFX give me a migraine).
The oni and felix skin is definitely my purpose for grinding. The pallet reset challenge isn't difficult, just drop the pallets you see and reset them even when the killer isn't there. Then once you're chased, start camping the pallets. Im okay with specific killer challenges, you can always get at least 1 survivor to help you out

Just played a few matches. I’d say around 6? As my last match was loading I could hear my dog choking on something downstairs so I did what most people would do and rushed downstairs. When I came back up I was just being carried around the map by a Trickster. 2 people were dead and another person was injured and being chased by the killer and my poor David lol. I noticed one of the dead survivors was a TTV so I opened their stream to see if they were live and they were. Obviously she and her friend were insulting me saying I am a crybaby who went AFK for being the Obsession. I’m sorry but, since when was that a thing?! 🤣
She then files an endgame report about me and says I was and I quote “deliberately not struggling or recovering to purposely aid the killer” LMAO.
I went into her chat to explain that I was AFK because my dog was choking and I had to tend to him and she says that it wasn’t her problem and she then thanked me for ruining her last match of the day and said people like me are what’s wrong with the community. She then blocked me before I could say anything else.
So you’ve heard it here first folks, if your pet is choking, you must let them die in order to spare the TTV’s feelings.

Ironically going for chainsaws is actually going to make getting his adept harder, going for chainsaws on healthy people will screw your chaser emblem, so honest advice on getting his adept, use his saw for mobility and getting rid of pallets and just be man with mallet. Its gonna suck but trust me from when I used to be a Billy one trick I'd have 12 hooks max points and get a iridescent in every other category and have brutal killer because of a silver chaser emblem.
@ALostPuppy said:
If you're trying to get the adept, don't use your chainsaw to down survivors, your chaser points will essentially be cut in half because you'll be bypassing health states.
And Q and E is only really used for traversal. I know some people use it for curving with engravings but I prefer using a mouse for that. If you're using q and e to track survivors and backrev them, don't. You're much better off using mouse movement.
i understand that but if survivors see me only m1 ing, they would realise that im never gonna chainsaw them
