Thank you, I appreciate that! I was honestly not really sold myself on the power, seeing it wasn't really a cannon power he had but, the theme somewhat matched in a way.Attackfrog said:@AzazelAxios said:
My ideas for his abilities.. just brainstorming• "Death fog" - Creates a fog in a 30m(?) radius. Survivors caught in the fog are put into a first person point of view with their view significantly reduced.
Perks
• Death incarnate - After hooking a survivor other survivors are exposed for 8/9/10 seconds.
• For Mother - For 3/4/5 seconds after a survivor has done or attempted an altruistic action, will slow their movement speed by 25% for 3 seconds.
• Lambs to the slaughter - Once an exit gate is powered the other gate will be permanently shut down. The powered gate closes each time a survivor exits for 5/10/15 seconds.
These are super cool and I can just seen myself playing as Jason with those perks. I think they would be very fun and add new dimension to killers' kits.
The power i am 50/50 on...it just seems hard to come up with a solid power for him....I feel it may be better served on a different type of killer. But I just don't know what an appropriate power would be.
Maybe something passive to play off his M1 killer style (an extra perk slot?).
An extra slot would be pretty awesome though. Perhaps some kind of fear inducing mechanic that switches certain button actions due to "panic" or something of the like? I'm not sure lol. It's difficult for sure. -
Thank you! Yeah, the way I was thinking was it would push them away then proceed to block it off until the timer was up, then repeat when another survivor escaped.SnakeSound222 said:
I love these ideas! They punish hook rushing, farming, and encourages Survivors to leave when they open the gate instead of sticking around. I have one question about Lambs to the Slaughter though.AzazelAxios said:My ideas for his abilities.. just brainstorming

Would the Entity push anyone who is inside the gates out as they close so nobody is trapped inside? -

Bond, Well make it, Urban Evasion and Borrowed Time.
-
The sweet sound of the Huntress's humming.
-
They should do 6 slots total but, seperate them in a way to not have OP load outs.
Something like 1 Survival perk (SC, DS, ect) 4 Utility perks (Bond, BT, WMI ect) and 1 Point boosting perk. -
I don't typically run it. Bond/Empathy, WMI, Urban Evasion, Flex slot (Usually WGLF, Borrowed Time or Light weight).
I'll usually just run with a medkit or even a tool box, since bond and empathy help me find peeps to heal me and vice versa. -
The Thing
Ability: Trasformation (Add-ons can be the various forms from the movies that give different abilities, ex: one could have a ranged tendril strike, another one that crawls on all fours that has 0 or small terror radius, or a large one that moves slower and has a close range maw attack that infects the player until they are in the dying state.)
Perks -
Paranoia - When Survivors are in 5/10/15m to one another, skill checks are greatly increased and carried items slowly degrade over time.
Terror beyond the stars - Your terror radius temporarily disorientates survivors, causing all movement controls to be reversed (Left becomes right, up becomes down) for 1/2/3 seconds. Can only happen once every 30 seconds.
- Mass infection - Striking a survivor "infects" them. Infected survivors must quickly find a heat source (barrels) to cure the infection. If the timer lapses before curing the infection, the survivor will be put in the dying state. Any survivor who heals the infected survivor, will also become infected.

Excuse me? I'll make myself a Lean-Pocket, thank you. How dare you, sir. How DARE you!

Huntress = Bae.

Yes, please. That sounds jawesome.

I love these ideas!
I think a free for all mode would be cool too.
Also one where there's two Killers on the map I think might be a nice challenge. The killers would compete for kills. And instead of repairing gens, the survivors have X amount of lives, and they have to carry multiple batteries to different locations on the map. Once all the batteries are in place, it opens a hatch that only one survivor can exit through. Leaving the others to repeat the process to escape.
The last survivor standing gets a slight boost to speed perodically and can take an additional hit before being downed.
This mode there's no hooks, just good ole fashion slaughter (killers can mori as long as the survivor is in dying state). Survivors get additional points for having X amount of lives left post match and killers get additional points for hits and kills.

Survivor
"Enter the fray" - When a fellow survivor is being chased, charge into the killer using the action button, temporarily stunning them. Awards 25% blood points in allturism, stacks 4 times. Causes exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds.
"Out of sight out of mind" - Allows the survivor to lay in the prone position. While prone, survivors are immune to the Killers aura reading abilities for 5/10/15 meters.
"Life in me yet" When being hooked for the third time (or 2nd if already in the struggling stage) you wrap the killers neck with your legs with all your might for 5/10/15 seconds before dying.
Killer
"Death Incarnate" - Decreases blood wipe by 10/15/20%. Downing a survivor during a chase will increase movement speed by 10% for 5 seconds.
"Fear tactics" - Survivors will occasionally emit a heart beat when near other survivors. Survivors in the radius panic, causing very difficult skill checks. Failing the skill checks repeatedly haults repairs temporarily.
"Cursed treasure" Chests become cursed. The first chest that is opened summons a tendril of the entity, that attacks the survivor, injuring them and eventually putting them in the dying state. Survivors within 5/10/15 meters of chests are revealed to the killer for 5 seconds.
I'm kinda knew, so I'm not sure if these sound dumb, OP, or not all that useful but, I was bored so, I figured why not lol.

Or The Jackal (Or any of the others tbh) from 13 ghosts (So I can get a Matthew Lillard based survivor. For... reasons)
Ooo the jackal would be cool. -
Yeah, I'd definitely fart on his pillow before bed time. Post Indian food meal, of course.
-
I pleased her as well. Love the design.

Hmm, that's interesting. Bit of a booty guy, myself.Might_Oakk said:@AzazelAxios said:

Well, I like turtles.

I'm the opposite, I'm always taking one for the team if I need too. If I know the others are doing a gen while being chased, I'll lure the killer as far away as possible to buy them as much time as I can.

This.feechima said:In the future there might be another asian female or not. I don't see why that is such a big deal as at least there is representation at all. There are other ethnicities that aren't even represented here yet, like Native American, any of the many Hispanic ethnicities such as Mexican, South American, Puerto Rican etc, and Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander.
Also, Tapp was added not because he was black or white or purple but because he was a character they could get rights for from the movie Saw. Adam is the first non-licensed man of color survivor who was actually created by these developers. Tapp may never get personalized skins but Adam sure can.
To the OP who is discouraged to continue playing because they didn't add a Japanese female. You've got bigger problems with Dbd than just the skins. If it's that petty, you're not that invested in the game anyways.

I get more GG messages than hate.

A kimono would be cool I think.

I think all is fine as is, honestly. Seems things are being read into a little much. I think the devs did a killer job on her design.
And for the whole screaming thing. This is a game about killing/survival, it's horror. It's supposed to be dark, brutal, and bloody. -
That whole thing is such hot cheese lol. It's just a ghost booty, a killer showing some skin... Compared to everything else in the game, it's very minute imo.
Not like she's boobing people to death. -
Soooo....I think what he/she is TRYING to say is....Nerf fusion rifles?
-
That's it...No soup for you!

I propose a new mode with 2 Killers and 6-8 Survivors, with more gens obviously. It'll give the killer a partner to party with (if they so choose).I also was thinking of some kind of free for all with survivors, where their goal is to gather resources but, there's a limited amount and when in the vicinity of others, everything is much slower (run speed, looting, ect), so it discourages trying to work together. The survivor needs to race against the others in order to exit through the hatch/portal...and only one can leave once they have gathered the materials in order to do so.
All while there is a killer chasing them down of course. I think this would appeal more to Killers and those survivors who play solo.
Just a thought anyway.
What's the point? Once you are on the hook nobody's going to help you.

Make it so this mode there aren't hooks, perhaps a pit or something you get thrown into. Maybe increase the hit it takes to down survivors too.
Just brainstorming.

I'm totally game for Slenderman!
A few I'd like to see are...
- Werewolf (Tribal like in human form, maybe Native American?)
- Jersey Devil
- Djinn
- Headless Horseman (Sleepy Hollow)
-
I don't mind when people do it, I just assume they're children. When I play survivor, if there's no one that needs saving, I just leave.
-
Maybe an ability/add-on that causes infected survivors to spawn creatures that seek out and attack others for a short time when in close proximity to other survivors?

I'd watch a movie about The Huntress. Hell i was just now contemplating writing my own script
I'd so audition for one of the survivor roles lol.
-
I'll sometimes walk around with them, if they don't kill me. We'll talk about this and that... Minus Myres and the Huntress they grunt and hum.
-
Definitely the Huntress. But in all honesty, I think the game itself would make for a killer horror flick if done right.
-
Yes, please. Would love me some more Huntress.
-
Perk "Not so silent but deadly"... When being chased, let out a series of farts that disorient the killer momentarily.
-
In other words....Nerf fusion rifles?
-
Any plans to add additional game modes?
-
And to think this entire time it was lag or something lol.

So....The Headless Horseman?
-
The creature from "The Crate" chapter on Creepshow.

In the first Jeepers Creepers, his house of pain was below an old abandoned church.
-
The Creeper.
-
Or the monster from the "The Crate" on Creepshow.
-
Creature from the black lagoon.
