Why even do gens?

I get more points from keeping the killer busy than my team who just did gens. They probably didn't even pipped. I know its not always possible but still better than just doing gens in the shadows and only pip if you unhook someone.

Stealth play and gens=no pip.

    Weren't you the one complaining about teammates being selfish?
    Do gens, help teammates, keep the killer busy if you have to and stop caring about BPs.

    If you didn't do gens and didn't help teammates who were hooked or injured = you won't pip.

    The best way to farm points and pip is to do 2 gens with someone else and keep killer busy for few minutes. Getting on hook also counts, but more risky.
    Doing 2 gens with someone else ~8k points.
    Escaping 5k
    do totems and heal teammates or yourself
    and run killer for one minute
    ~ 20k ez.

    Why do gens? because it takes two minutes to farm 8k points and double that if you have "we gonna farm forever". Also adds points in emblems, afaik, making it really ez to pip.

    ps: if you think you can't rank up with only doing gens - you're not correct. Emblems give points for simply staying in killer terror radius even if he does not find you. Even with 0 in those, you can pip and farm chase points by simply standing in basement.

    Idk. Point system seems weird and a bit off to me. Lastnight I played a game where some random survivor literally got hooked and died within the first 2 minutes of the game. He didnt do any gens or help with anything and still managed to get almost 11k in BP...lol

    Same. Ive gone quite a few games without unhooking other survivors and strictly only doing gens (mainly because I'm either on the other side of the map when survivor is hooked or someone else saves them) and still pip.

    The system is super easy to pip idk why people still complain about pipping

    I do whatever I can if I span near a hook I break it 500bold near a gen I fix it bear gen and another surv I wave to stick together and head tot the gen of they ditch they ditch but I try to save unless its a camper and it's me left (happens today but I got a trophy for crawling out)

    Though am a bit pissed in one match I got hooked once fighting it all the way other gets hooked trying to save me do I get saved since I have less health before dead nope I'm ignored and they save there friend that annoys me alot being ditched when I go out my way to help

    Because you can get an iridescent Lightbringer and an iridescent unbroken emblem + an iridescent evader emblem if you do gens and get chased

    They aren't mutually exclusive.
