Killer-sided. And honestly, in regular public games it can only become survivor-sided if the Killer lets this happen. This with their choice of playing Killer, someone who does not pick one of the strongest Killers will most likely not want to win that badly. Or how they play, if someone decides to play nice and not tunnel, the Survivors have a bigger chance.
But if Killers play to win and play strong Killers and tunnel and slug a lot, then it is clearly killer-sided. It can only really become survivor-sided if the Killer decides to not do that.

This seems like it's their new way of making busted killers, which is concerning.
Ghoul was busted, Krasue was busted, First was very good and frustrating, Jason seems busted with all he got in his kit.
This isn't "one time" thing, this is the new way. Poor surviviors.
We can't wonder why killer matches aren't instant in the evenings like before, much more people only want to play killer and not touch the survivior side.
Yet we have people saying dbd is survivior sided and that devs are biased towards surviviors.
In general, I think the last 3 Killers all have big design flaws. Krasue has been talked about a lot, her gameplay loop is so boring. And on top of that, she has her power which she can just spam, plus it has some autoaim. Henry is fine strength-wise, I also have fun playing him and dont mind playing against him. But again, the power is so spammy… I can get why big cooldowns are a turnoff, but being able to just spam your power should not be possible.
And then there is Jason. Again, a spammable power with the Spears, since you basically never come into the situation to not have a spear ready. That he can reload on Hooks (which are plenty on the maps) and his own crates and this while basically doing a drive-by just means that he always has the spear. That he has a 12 second Cooldown on OE while gaining 25 seconds of Haste (such an absurd high number) makes him 4,6 m/s instead of 4,4 m/s basically all of the time. On top of that, he has some of the best information and map traversal, making Hex-Builds way too strong on him and games against him a slog.
To add to this, for some reason they added a Mini Mori to him (to make him better at tunneling after the second hook) AND he provides Killer Instinct AND for some reason you cannot avoid screaming in Lockers or with Calm Spirit. I dont know why they thought that he needed that exact interaction. Sure, you can crouch, so it is not that bad, but I dont understand why the game in general allows you to avoid screams with Lockers or a very niche and bad Perk just to then make a Killer who bypasses it. (Meanwhile, someone like Doctor, who has a way weaker power completely relies on screams and gets no information at all when Survivors are in Lockers)
When Jason released I predicted that at some point the honeymoon phase will be over and he will be one of the most unpopular Killers to go against and we probably reached that point. To me he is still not as insulting as Ghoul is, but he is a close second. And I dont even understand why they had to do this, the license will sell anyway.

This happens when the last time you played you had those still in your most recent Bloodweb. I got a bunch of Bloodshot Eyes for example.

Not really as then yours is as weak as I can also speculate that people might have used all their cakes not everyone had them several hundreds or surprisingly might be a newer player who did not play earlier events. Not to even mention that even if they had cakes on one character why you think they would have them on all and still there is also the characters that were not around last anniversary. I know people who get BPS they use it right away so not all people hoard them. Not to mention it was not even an argument but a statement.
People have right to play who they want.
Sorry, but I cannot imagine that anyone playing Survivor does not have a BPS or a Cake SOMEWHERE on a Survivor.
-
@Wezqu said:
You guys should take into account that not all have cakes yet on all characters. Going after someone just because they first time play a character in the event is not really nice.
This is honestly quite a weak argument. Even if you dont have any of the current Event Cakes, I am very sure that everybody if they play characters for just a bit have a BPS or one of the previous event cakes.
And especially on Survivor you can just play a character who has a cake.
-
I rather have them than have them not. I DC very rarely (last time when 2 teammates DCed, I did not want to play with 2 Bots, so I DCed as well. Did not get a penalty, since it was the first DC in a very long time), but I have the feeling that there would be way more games with DCs if there would be no penalties.
But I hope that they improve Bots at some point. Because as one of the Survivors still in the Trial, it makes almost no difference if you are one person down or have a Bot, they are really THAT useless.

Ive just been normal queing. I did for last years. They just cant get a event fun for both apparently it always has to be such a shift. "Survivors get fragile pallets. Killers get instadown on command,tp hook, and tp pallet break" then this year. See above lol poison vs 10 survivor effects. (Though the poison if I play billy i see the effectiveness. Just poison them and free insta down). Only thing that sucks this one is the cake nerf. I have all characters at least p6 with like 3 p100s so bp is a meme but I still just like to see big cake number. And with most offerings being bad I run it to help the less fortunate to catch up to me hopefully eventually.
The thing is, the poison is not even bad. It guarantees a Hit, there is no way the Survivor can avoid being hit after being slowed down so much. It is just boring. But then again, Remote Pallet Breaks or Exposed were also not really exciting, but at this point Survivors got garbage, so Killer Mains did not care for their abilities being boring.

I think the ones I watch did but I watch most of the both side creators like otz/scott/hens/mint so cant speak for all. Just at least the others had something for both sides not killer gets poison and survivors get invincibility, invisibility, haste, map wide heal, endurance, elusive. Unbreakable pallets, rebuildable pallets. Ect.
Oh, I know that Otz also did a video. And it will probably be posted here, because it is SO IMPORTANT to have another Thread about the same topic.
The reality is that none of the Content Creators said anything about the unbalanced Anniversary Events before, because they were killer-sided. And the Forums also did not really care. For some reason "You dont have to play the event" and "They are not supposed to be balanced" is only a thing when the "right" side gets the good stuff.
At this point I am wondering if this keeps up until the last day of the event.
-
This sounds like normal Killer gameplay during events to me.

I don't think it looks good if a bunch of youtubers, the biggest youtubers, are saying how awful the balance of this event is. I mean like, imagine you never played dbd before and watched one of those videos, you probably wouldn't play dbd.
Why didnt those Youtubers talk about the past Anniversary Events being unbalanced?
-
They wont certainly not take it down and changes to it are unlikely. But yes, if you dont like the event mode, dont play it. This is the same Killers said the last few times when it was killer-sided, so they should take their own advice here.
btw. if you REALLY want to boycott anything, you should not play at all. BHVR does not care about whether you play in the event mode or the regular queue, they care about their player numbers. Not that I say people should boycott the game, but boycotting the gamemode is really half-baked. And overall I think the drama is way to overexaggerated.

And this is important, because…?

There’s no good reason for it not to be implemented.
I saw someone say “because adepts”. But my counterpoint is they can make it count as an escape as to not mess with adepts, this also would have to be implemented for challenges and such that require escaping, the ONLY problem I foresee is hatch escape challenges and some challenges where you have to stay and let other people leave before you, but they’re so far a few between they shouldn’t hamper a QoL change like this.
if survivors get to abandon to not give killers the satisfaction of a mori, killers should be able to abandon to not give survivors the satisfaction of watching them leave.
This is always a strange thing to say. The Killer is the one who wants to see the Mori, the Killer is the one who gets to see the Mori. There is nothing taken from them.

Survivors will abandon even if they are about to get sacrificed or morid. The point of abandon isnt necessarily to just save time. 4 minutes is really nothing considering that queue time is instant anyway. Besides, the dying timer usually lapses a bit before the abandon option appears, because there were other survivors still up, so it's not even 4 full minutes.
Anyways, The annoying part is when the killer has to wait the EGC as if he could still get a kill. It's similar to back when survivors on hooks waited to finish the sacrifice process for game end. Technically, you can continue to run around and break pallets like an AI would, but chances of winning are close to zero. Survivors in their respective equal situation (dying state but with antislug perks) can choose to abandon or stay. Most abandon obviously. So the point is moot.
Just like surv gets the option to abandon even with unbreakable or whatnot, killer should also get that same option.
I mean, I would not be against it if Killers can abandon when gates are open. But I just think it is not correct to compare the situation of a Survivor slugged with a Killer waiting for the EGC to end. One is 4 minutes without any option to do anything, the other is 2 minutes while actively choosing to wait 2 minutes.
To your last part - I run Unbreakable and Deliverance, so technically, when all 4 Survivors are down, I could still do something. But even then I think it is not horrible that Survivors get to abandon here. Sure, it would be better if they would check the Perks and see that someone might turn the game around, but realistically, even with Unbreakable and Deliverance ready, the game is over at this point, since the Survivors will very likely not come back from four people downed at the same time.

Its only 4 minutes you can just push tab and go do somthing else. No when queue times are over 5 minutes adding 2 extra minutes to queue times is not acceptable and shows the devs dont respect the killers time like they do with survivors.
The difference is the KIller has way more control over what they can do when all Gens are done. The Survivor has no control at all when they are slugged.
If the Gens are done, the Killer can either keep playing or open the Gate. And if the Gate is opened, they only have to wait 2 minutes (being afk, breaking Pallets, farming BPs by using their Power…), but doing so is their own decision. They can also force the Survivors out. Yes, the side who is always pondering about playing the big and scary Killer MIGHT see Survivors teabagging, I know, horrible. But if you are over 14 you should not have a problem with that and be the adult, if the Survivors are not the adults.
Survivors on the other hand can do nothing when slugged except for moving around at the lowest speed possible. It would be more compareable if Survivors could do more, e.g. speeding up their bleed timer by speeding up their crawl speed or something like this. But as of now, a slugged Survivor has to wait for 4 minutes without any way of either speeding it up or doing something else ingame.

The developers didn't even consider allowing the assassin to leave the match without penalty if they haven't hooked anyone for a long time, but the enemy can leave the game if the generators haven't been activated for four minutes. The most puzzling thing is why there are so few complaints about this when the whole world is complaining about "tunnel thinking."
This is completely wrong? Survivors dont get to abandon when no Gen is completed for 4 minutes. Killers get to abandon when no Gen is completed for 10 minutes, simply to allow them to leave the game if the Survivors are holding it hostage by only hiding.
-
You are not the only one, but yet you think it is important to open another Thread about it instead of using one of the 33 already existing ones.
I dont think it is as bad as people claim it to be. Certainly not a time where you want to prestige your Trapper, but I dont see much of a difference in the Killers I face and the queuetimes for Survivor in the mode are also only a bit longer compared to the regular queue (20 seconds instead of instant).
The good thing is that Killers dont need to play this mode if they dont want to. And this is what Killers said during the past Anniversaries which were killer-sided. This time they made it more survivor-sided, but it is not like Killers cannot perform. And it is not like they get less exciting abilities than before, the poison is equally as boring as Remote Pallet Breaks for example. The only difference is that now Survivors have actual good abilities.
And to be fair, with Jason releasing, they could not really afford another killer-sided Anniversary Event. This would completely have killed the queuetimes.
I am just wondering how long the "Dont be mad, it is only a gamemode, it is not supposed to be balanced"-squad will complain about the Anniversary Event being unbalanced, just not in the "right" way.

But then you have everyone else complaining that they’re getting fewer because of the rarity, but I’ve seen people on Reddit say that cakes now appear on certain levels of the Bloodweb and it’s like 20 cakes per prestige or something along those lines.
This is most likely why they went with the double approach. Making them very rare guarantees at least one in every P50-Bloodweb and making them appear on specific levels guarantees a certain amount of Cakes. In the end, from what I have seen, with 5 Cakes burned each game you will get enough BPs so that with every 8-10 games you have 1 Prestige Level which gives you 27 Cakes. So people in the end will still have a lot of Cakes at the end of the event.

I'm going to be the outliner and say this was going to happen, The fact they went this hard for survivors should really say something about how bad survivor play levels were for the last few events outside 2v8. I've said it 1000 times, but killers cannot treat every lobby like their families lives depend on it. We need players on both sides.
This is pretty much my assumption as well. The past few events have been killer-sided and I really think that the Devs this time went the other way around. And in theory Killers should also be fine with it, because "You dont have to play in the event queue" was a common thing to say when someone complained about the killer-sided event. Seems not to apply this time for some reason.
Overall I think they did not want to do another killer-sided Anniversary Event when Killer Queues were already long due to Jason. Even now I dont have long Survivor Queues, I wait 20 seconds instead of them being instant, so not much has changed for Survivors here. Event Queues for Killer are also better than they were before, which is a good thing.

I play killer in the event queue because of fast queue times. I have been playing some SoloQ matches in the event, and the amount of times I have been hard tunneled out or slugged while a greedy killer has to get their 4K has been egregious. At least if I play killer I am guaranteed to get decent value out of my cakes and I know I am in a match where the killers isn't a complete cretin. I never slug for the 4K and let the last survivor have the hatch more often than not.
I have been playing Legion because I always make great points with them and I can vault the invincible pallets and they can chew through the free heals the Banquet Payoffs give. Getting frenzy stabs on invisible survivors is incredibly satisfying.
I don't think the event is as survivor-sided as everyone else does because you can get some really broken generator spawns and survivors often waste a lot of time messing with the event stuff rather than getting gens done. But I'm not really thinking about it that much. It's more about getting 18 cakes for every ~3-4 games I play which makes the game so much more bearable.I don't think the event is as survivor-sided as everyone else does because you can get some really broken generator spawns and survivors often waste a lot of time messing with the event stuff rather than getting gens done. I would agree. I did not play the first day, simply because currently my country is in a heatwave and it is not really enjoyable to sit in front of the PC and sweat (no pun intended). But I dont think it is as bad as people claim it to be. I dont think that I will play or run into any low Tier Killers in the event, but this is just normal for me. The only difference I see is a higher Legion count and thats about it.

Cake Drops are as intended. So they will not change them anymore, you playing or not playing will not change that either. So either you decide to not play the event to make a statement or you play it to get the most out of it.

I mean, thats the thing and no different from past Anniversary Events. Remote Pallet Breaks are also lazy and boring. So is Remote Hooking. Those are not cool features, they are convenient, but not exciting. And as we know, Killers dont really get secondary objectives or anything like that during events, because time has shown that Killers dont like to do it since they claim there is no time to do them.
So they will be stuck with mostly boring abilities and this is a thing for every event. Just this time, the Survivors got better abilities, which is probably the reason people did not complain last year about the Remote Pallet Breaks being boring.
-
But at least they are doing their usual movement of mass complaints. Worked a few times, might work here as well.
Personally I think it is the same like last years, only the other way around: It is only a time limited event, so it will go away rather quickly. And if you dont like it, play the regular queue. The same I did last year on Survivor, because the Anniversary Event was killer-sided, once again.
They will make a survey afterwards and then you can give your feedback.

2v8, the most popular and frequent event is objectively survivor sided
2v8 is a gamemode and not really an event. And it is known to be imbalanced. AND it has to be survivor-sided, because Survivor is the way more boring role for it, since even with everything they added, there is nothing new to play for Survivors. Killers on the other hand can play with a teammate.
If 2v8 would not be survivor-sided (personally, I dont think it is by much), Killer queues would be even longer for it.
-
I dont think Perks are the solution here. The problem with Perks is that they can always be used by Killers which are not M1-Killers. As an example, Surge is a Perk which triggers of Basic Attacks, so it is really a Perk for M1-Killers, but even if you would think about buffing it (it is already a good Perk), then you would also buff it for a Killer like Ghoul. And there are countless other examples.
The issue with Perks as a balancing method is that the strong Killers hold them back for the weak Killers. So it is better to buff the weak Killers than go for Perks IMO.
-
I mean, they cannot bring another killer-sided Anniversary Event in a row when they also release Jason as the Killer. Killer Queues would have been even more enormous. In the end, at this point Killers have to suck it up if they want to play the event. Or they just play the regular queue and just enjoy the cakes, did the same as Survivor last year because I did not want to deal with Remote Pallet Breaks or other stuff.
Happens, it is only an event and it will only last a limited amount of time. And usually the Devs dont change anything about it, give feedback afterwards and thats about it.

I really hope they look at Jason first before nerfing Hex builds in general.
Thrill-Hex builds can be disgusting, sure, but on most killers there is still a clear risk: if the totem is gone, the perk is gone for the rest of the match. That is a valid playstyle and survivors do have tools to deal with it.
The problem is that Jason’s kit makes defending totems way too easy compared to most killers. He can move around the map extremely fast with OE, pressure multiple floors, force screams / Killer Instinct value around the area, and even interrupt people from a distance with that spear scream addon. That makes Hex builds feel much more oppressive on him than they would on a normal killer.
I don’t think Thrill itself is the main problem here, like Hens mentioned. Jason is the multiplier. Hens having a huge streak with that build is one thing, but KnightLight is also doing very well with Jason without perks at all (40+ Streak), which says a lot about the killer’s base kit.
I would rather see Jason tuned first than see every Hex / totem build get hit because one killer abuses them too well.
I personally think that Thrill of the Hunt deserves a nerf. The Perk just screams problematic, maybe not initially, but whenever something releases which makes Hex-Builds very good (like Jason), then the Perk gets problematic.
At the very least it should not work on Pentimento-Totems.
-
People will just say "Run Counterforce", but it is not like this actually counters this Build. Hens had a 130 Winstreak with that exact build and also said that he ran into a bunch of people using Counterforce, but there is not much which can be done.

Deja Vu's original effect was quite literally the worst perk in the entire games history
I don't think it won that competition against No Mither, and it certainly wouldn't hold up against things like Calm Spirit and Invocations now.
I dont think people count No Mither, since it is supposed to be some kind of hardmode Perk. And not that kind of Perk which is just too weak/too situational to ever be good.
But I think old Deja Vu would indeed be considered stronger than Invocations, considering that you at least dont have to invest time for the little benefit you get.
-
Hell no, this would just lead to people reporting even more stuff because they dont understand what just happened. I am very sure that a significant amount of times people call others a cheater are just things they did not know about.
What would make people report cheaters more often is better feedback from the Devs. And especially faster Bans. If I report a Cheater and go through all the things they require for it and see after 3 months that they are still happily playing despite cheating every game AND ban evading because their previous account was banned, I just dont report Cheaters anymore. BHVR should work on that and not give any BP Incentives for successful reports.

Interesting, but I don’t really agree with that.
Maybe you weren’t around for The Ghoul release, or maybe you just remember it differently, which is fine. But Kaneki also came out in a very problematic state and was pushed pretty heavily from a marketing perspective. Obviously not on the same level as a 10th anniversary chapter with Jason as the main flagship character(special livestreams, huge announcements), but still a big release.
He is in a much healthier spot now, but on release there were definitely serious balance issues that got addressed step by step over time.
That is basically my point. Big releases can come out overtuned or in a rough state, especially when there is a lot of marketing behind them. Then, once enough time, data, and feedback exist, they get adjusted.
I’m not saying Jason has to be gutted. I just don’t think it is unrealistic at all to expect adjustments when his current risk/reward is this far off.
You cannot just look at Ghoul and say that he is the norm. If you look just a Chapter after that there is Springtrap, who released in a completely fine state despite being licensed. The reason is that Anime in DBD was way more controversial since there were people who outright did not want to have an Anime Chapter in the game. So Ghoul was made stronger, since it could be assumed that not so many people would buy it compared to Springtrap. So to get people who are not fans of the Franchise and are simply completionists to buy it, they made a Killer which is very easy to play and one of the strongest Killers in the game. There was no need to do this with Springtrap.
And honestly, there was also no need to do this with Jason. I dont know why they did it, maybe they feared that people would not buy it because it is technically not Friday the 13th or whatever. But licensed = OP Release in general is not really the case.

I have the firm belief that killers whose entire power is reliant on lockers should have more lockers spawn than other killers in order to make them more consistent across all maps.
Or just more Lockers in general. I thought it was strange that some time ago Huntress got a Buff by having more Hatchets, but Dredge and Trickster did not get anything, because their reliance on Lockers was unchanged.
-
Not sure if this is not a Pallet Spawn, but at the very least, he can go to Pallet Spawns which did not spawn a Pallet. And I dont know why this is the case, he already has so many spots where he can teleport to, they dont need to put up more.
And what @cogsturning said is also true, Dredge gets ######### over by RNG, if a map does not spawn lockers in certain locations. Jason gets many more teleport locations for no reason.
-
Trapper, simply because he is the Poster Boy of DBD and one of the worst Killers in the game. I just wish that the face of the game is more popular, but I cannot see people playing Trapper (myself included) with his current Kit.
Nurse, because at some point there should at least be a bit of thought process who is the best Killer in the game. I just hate it that after so many years the first thing everyone does in their Tier List is to slap Nurse at the Top. I would not even mind if she is still the strongest Killer after a Rework, but I wish that at least some people would discuss if Blight or Billy might be better than her and if she would actually play the same game as all other Killers.
-

Wraith is there to be the introduction killer, I know people say that's trapper but wraith is the one that actually lets you get experience getting into chases quickly, understanding how speed effects lunges and the importance of denying windows and pallets.
Reworking him is not a good idea.
^ this.
Wraith is a very simple Killer, it is very easy to pick him up. People will know how to play him in their first game (obviously they wont know about his lunge or that you can bodyblock windows with him or stuff like that, but still). But he is simple, easy and therefore obviously not that strong (that other Killers (Ghoul cough) are very easy for being way stronger is the design flaw here…).
I think Wraith is perfect design, an easy Killer which is in the middle of basically every Tier List. And if someone wants to start playing Killer, Wraith would be the obvious choice as their starting point. I think it would be very bad if they would rework him and give him some overcomplicated power.

Her first rework was totally fine and the reason she got hardnerfed wasnt because she was "boring" to face but because entitled survivor mains refused to play against her and kept giving up on hook, hence why she had an artificially high kill rate of 70%. This is why you dont balance killers based on data only. Before the nerfs, her counterplay was no different than to her current version. The only difference is, it was much easier to get value out of her power, but to be honest that was justified considering that the drones only injure you (and hinder, but only if you already are broken). Now you have to scan people 3 times with 1 scanline for merely an injury. And avoiding the beams is ridicilously easy, killing her trap playstyle completely.
They dont balance Killers on Data only. And no, her first Rework was miserable as well, she was still boring to go against, she was boring to play for most people and slapping on every status effect in existence did not really fix her.

We were gonna get a rework but all the Skull Merchant "Mains" came out of the shadows to moan about it, I thought it looked a lot of fun to play.
So thank them, I don't see them playing her now either. The problem is that the Rework changed her a lot. I think she would overall be more interesting to play and play against with it, but BHVR has a really bad track record with reworks. So I can understand why the three people who like Skull Merchant were not happy about the announcement of the rework.
The sad reality is that she needs a Rework. I think her Kit is beyond saving, her power was flawed from the start and it was clear that she will be a boring snoozefest and the Devs knew it as well and just nerfed her into the ground so that she is not played.
I see no way how she can be a decent midrange Killer with her current Kit without her being completely obnoxious to go against again.

I really think people who claim this dont play Survivor. Or maybe dont even play Killer, lol.
There is a big difference between a Survivor who is actually good at the game (with and without WoO and/or Sprint Burst) and a Survivor who just follows the yellow Auras. It is very obvious if a Survivor is just following whatever they can see with WoO/Five Moves ahead and those are really not hard to outplay.
If you are struggle with that kind of player, this is a you-problem.
(And honestly, a bad Survivor cannot really make use of DS. Sure, they extend their life by a few seconds, but if you cannot make use of the stun and the bit of distance you gain with DS, you will not cause the Killer any problems)

Control doesn't matter. On both situations (survs already on exit gate and mori animation on last surv) the game is finished already and doesn't matter if anyone has control or not: the outcome is not going to change.
So either make the change for both or dont. But doing it only for survivors but not for killers would show, again, bias.
Obviously it does matter, otherwise there would not be the distinction, lol.

If only there was some info on how to tell via spikes at least. But honestly, the absolutely crisp sound of spikes themselves is so good I would wish they stayed even if suggestion above gets implemented
I like the spikes in general. Granted, I almost never see them fully block a Gen, but I like the visuals and the sounds. But they appear after 4 Kicks or so? Which is really irritating for me, because I always think "Wait, I should not be that close to the limit" and in reality, I am not close to it.
Another advantage of the proposal would be that a Killer can see before they kick the Gen how many Kicks are left. Would help with decision making to kick it right now or maybe risk it to wait a bit longer when there is a PGTW to use on that Gen.

You seem to miss the point that its the way to free limitation of the abandoning that is the problem not the seeing the mori.
But again, what does it matter to you if someone abandons? The game is over. If you are the Killer, there is 0 difference if there is a Survivor or a Bot lying on the ground.

I find it interesting seeing people wanting to "skip" the mori animation because they do not want to be "forced" to see it, but when other people asks that the killer should be able to abandon in end game collapse when the 4 survivors are on the exit gate and the killer should not be forced to watch them t-bag and leave, the most common answer is "lol no, just go and force them out".
So the survivors should be able to skip the mori but the killer should not be able to skip that part of egc and should watch them leave.
…….Interesting.
It is more the lack of control. The Killer has always full control in your example. They can decide to push Survivors out or not, it is up to them.
A Survivor on the ground has no control at all what they can do.

Adrenaline, my beloved.
As a solo queue survivor, those rare but epic moments where Adrenaline came in at just the right time to save the day are some of my favorite DBD memories. But of course, coordinated SWFs were 'abusing' it, so it certainly had to be nerfed… so that only those highly coordinated teams could get away with running it at all.
Adrenaline is a good example for it, the Pickrate also dropped massively with the tripple nerf.
On that note, Hope can also be mentioned. Again, maybe not nerfed into the ground, but enough that it is not really played anymore. And both are Perks which only trigger in Endgame, meaning that the Survivor must be alive at this point and all Gens need to be done.

Yeah, the Perk is not really useable. There is no point in running it, it gets outclassed by Background Player.
