Ideas for Nerfing the Totem of Bounty
When playing as the Killer, I often feel that the Boon Totems used by the opposing team are overpowered.
At the same time, I don't have the luxury of running perks specifically to counter them.
I would like to see a limit placed on how many times a Boon Totem can be set up in the same location.
I think it should be standard behavior for a totem to be destroyed after being snuffed out three times.

If you think that Boons are overpowered, that is a You-Problem. Boons are a waste of time for Survivors and there is no need to nerf them even further.
I think that limiting the number of times a boon could be placed can work because boons are currently in an awful spot where they are all pretty meh most of the time and are all in pretty desperate need of a buff.
I play on the Asia server.
The top-tier Survivors there are so highly skilled that, when they coordinate via voice chat, they become virtually unstoppable unless the Killer is playing one of the few truly powerful characters.
In particular, there are several Killers who have no effective counter-strategy against groups that include a member dedicated to a support role using "Shadow Step."
Boons are one of the few mechanics that are kinda fine. Not crazy good, not unusably bad.
Those strong Survivors would be way stronger if they would not waste Perk Slots (and time) on pointless Boon-Perks.
This is just pure falsehood pushed by content creators, its just content for money generation sake and if it involves putting down survivors they know it will get views. The difference in kill rates is far more likely driven by killer selection and more killers playing on controllers (supposedly at least), nothing actually points towards them being more skilled the world cup tournament certainly didn't.
My only problem is why are they so loud? Hex totems aren’t loud. And they’re much stronger than boons.
I want to agree, but flow state has really made boons feel more worthwhile for me in the midgame (i do some gens then bless totems with the speed increase, unless I find a really good spot). The issue is that thrill of the hunt hex builds are so common, it basically renders boons unusable rn.
Because they have to be much weaker than hexes. And they aren't a oneshot.
