We need better perks for M1 killers
Hi everyone! Hope you're all doing well!
After Jason release it came to my mind how we could have better perks for M1 killers. His Rampage perk - which is ironically a fitting perk for a M1 killer, which Jason isn't - is a good example of this: it has a good effect but it takes too long to stack. So long that the match will probably end when you start to get value of it.
What is your thought on this? Do you agree with me or do you believe the current set of perks is enough and we need something else?
Thanks for the attention.

idk about that, I use Rampage on Unknown it helps with my m2 zoning when I get the higher stacks, especially flashlights, looking into those like a moth for value is hillarious.
Makes me wonder if shadowborn is worth a second look.
That said I do think there is a lot more "M1" perks than there used to be
M1 killers need a lot of help, and delegating that help to perk slots isn't the way to go imo. It'll help, but the gap between perkless M1 killers and perkless mobility/m2 killers is so wide that perks aren't enough to actually close it in a meaningful way
There are already some pretty good perks for M1 killers. Coup, sloppy butcher, enduring, franklins demise and weave attunement. I feel like the problem with M1 killers is they're also a victim of killer power creep. All these pallets are a result of the game constantly introducing stronger and stronger killers.
I dont think Perks are the solution here. The problem with Perks is that they can always be used by Killers which are not M1-Killers. As an example, Surge is a Perk which triggers of Basic Attacks, so it is really a Perk for M1-Killers, but even if you would think about buffing it (it is already a good Perk), then you would also buff it for a Killer like Ghoul. And there are countless other examples.
The issue with Perks as a balancing method is that the strong Killers hold them back for the weak Killers. So it is better to buff the weak Killers than go for Perks IMO.
