If you play with friends, have everyone run Boon: Shadow Step. Three Judgments, and all three disconnected as soon as they hit zero auras. A fourth just idled. Even two SS can be a game changer. The Judgment players are abusing non-stop aura reading. Deny this and they will rage quit more than likely or at least have to work much harder. So far, none have tried. They DC or idle.
I guess people aren't appreciating your advice so it must be good!
I'm happy to see Shadowstep back on the menu that perk was always second fiddle to CoH but I swore that thing saved just as many health states as CoH recovered.

The 48m only applies around a pallet. Guards phased through dropped pallets previously which removed some counterplay opportunities. We had to readdress how Guards interacted with them so that players could counter. 48m is the range in which the pathing guard will give up the chase to give the Knight his power back, and does not change the hunt time.
I'm not sure I understand...the Banner is the baked in counterplay for survivors should that not be the thing to tweak/look at if we were looking to help the survivor end rather than the killer power itself?

I feel like we'd have to choose between a dino or a shark and I vote shark!
I say this with a heavy heart because Devil Dinosaur was the coolest thing added to Marvel Rivals. You really feel like a primitive animal chomping on people! I'd love a dino and a shark if possible!

id probably be against it. it feels intuitive to stop and catch your breath

Is there any way to allow controller players to bind extra things like PC? I would love to be able to bind things like "look up" for Jason and Huntress orbitals.
I've been waiting on dpad support for Vecna and Dracula since they released I'm begging to be able to bind freely like in OW/Rivals

I've been coping on this change for a very long time.

I typically play add-onless. I'm a pathalogical hoarder
I can't bring myself to unequip Searchers Skull it brings me joy to see survivors swap to flashlights last second
-
I'm worried that spirit would require some of her addons un nerfed because she would be required to bulldoze survivors with sheer numbers again because she'd be impossible to lose to otherwise. So I'm not sure what needs to be done for the survivor end for the hearing impaired.(accessibility aside, Spirit is one of the more fair and well balanced killers we have)
on the killer end we should definitely bring back Father's Glasses that addon was a staple for deaf people and imo I preferred facing Father's Glasses compared to Dried Cherry Blossom.

I haven and its been doing absolutely great!
If you have any sort of momentum, your games will often have ended with 5-4 gens left, its crazy. All because of DMs. Because the PR + DMS already wins u 50+ seconds backyou running Improvised Detonators or is that unneeded?
-
last time I enjoyed an M1 killer they got deleted from the game for m1ing a little too hard (Skull Merchant 2: Electric Boogaloo)
I think m2s are just easier to balance around. M1 heavy killers are incredibly feast or famine, or are too oppressive if they are actually viable.
-
that'd be awesome

Circle of Healing now only works for SWF.
In soloq does nothing
that's patently untrue; you tbag inside the Boon

Zealous actually isn't that great atm. You get two main bonuses from zealous.
1. Beam gets 10% bigger which considering this is only a 0.3m increase and you can get a 50% increase from just running order of inquisition is quite underwhelming.
2. The curve which is only active for 0.3 seconds currently which is incredibly undertuned.
So putting this together I could actually see this build being quite viable with how underwhelming zealous currently is.
I've tried messing with the beam addons like Order of Inquisition and they all seem terrible...I thought with a healthy dose of "get good" they'd shine but I keep farming Killer Instinct. so I can't help but wonder if the Zealous size is helping us more than we realize.
-
I won't copy this myself but thanks for sharing. have you been running this for a while?
-
its a fair trade for never needing to catch up to survivors even as a 110 killer. if I want to hit people close I'll play any other killer in the game
-

You're supposed to do Gens, dodge snipes and quit running hook Perksn no Sabotage builds and don't bring flashlights.
fun game!
1 guy looping an m1 killer all game while you sit on gens isn't fun either.
-
I haven't noticed because I've only played Judgment so I don't care. but I'm still seeing SB it didn't go anywhere. I'm not gonna cry over a top 3 perk of over a decade being nerfed.
Lithe was always better. just ask all those Laras
-
distortion never should have been nerfed.
-
you're more than welcome to change your perks. None of my perks have been affected by this killer shrug

Spirit has Cherry Blossom. So people who struggle to hear can use that.
they should just people back Father's Glasses
-
there's a few builds I'd love to try that need 5 perk slots it'd be a lot of fun I think
-
everybody gets to loop this new killer you can't just have 1 guy doing a 5 gen chase vs this killer. everybody's gotta do their part.
it's something different. the same old gets boring.

Crayon Eater, when played well, is high A tier. The issue with him is, that his skill floor is extremely low. My cat could play kaneki and 4k most of the time.
you want a killer your cat could 4k with? You would have loved Spirit. Your cat could unplug your controller walking by and survivors would die because of it
-
good changes. Id love a little more time to enjoy None Are Free
-
this kinda killer you don't wanna heal under hook most likely so I guess the idea is that you'll use your empowered unhook protections to relocate to a safer location
-
I'm trying, man. After all my abuse on Pinhead I'm unleashing a reckoning now that my abilities damage! (Engineers Fang weeping in the corner..)
I had a similar experience on survivor though. I even brought Object+ We See You but We Did Not See Them

Why has no one been talking about running Blast Mine with Residual Manifest… (and Distortion and Shadow Step)
I'm having so much fun hard countering this killer's #1 build.I may try out the mine combo tonight! I myself do kinda like Oppression+ Lay Waste my only concern is if the Judgment chooses to speedrun the game and 1 hook us all. I've had a few games I literally can't even use the addons that regress once you hit 4 fresh hooks because I've been sacrificing all 4 survivors simultaneously. I pray that's mmr being weird because I promise I'm not that insane on anybody else
-
I don't even think they are that hard. Landing a successful hit can be tough, but the killer itself is really not that difficult on a conceptual level. it's more of a battle of minds. It appeals to me as I love Henrys gameplay.I play on Xbox and I was dreading that Judgment would be a PC only killer but this killer handles great.
I really do not think they should be made easier or be made to work better in loops. I don't want this killer becoming an anti loop killer
-
people need to relearn not to unhook in front of the killers face and farm them out but I don't see why you can't use any shrine to unhook rather than 2 specific ones.
-
I've ran Searchers Skull for every single Judgment game and I have not been blinded a single time. Two can Play definitely could use a buff

Except for the fact that with Hooks you have more than just the Basekit Endurance. If you appear next to her after getting rescued from the Exile, you are the easiest Target: Not more than 10 seconds of Endurance and no Perks which activate after being unhooked.
honestly I don't think it'd be a big deal if you could rescue from any shrine.

Is Henry not insane? I feel like he's most definitely a top 10 killer (same with Judgement imo)
in a vacuum yeah, Henry is insane. Him and Unknown are the "Potential Killers" who theoretically can wipe teams with ease. Seeing Hens hit 150 wins and quitting because he got bored was something to see. Not that anything's changed with Henry really, but survivors got used to it.
Maybe survivors will get used to Judgment too, and then it's theoretical strength may not be worth as much. People realized you can just pre run Henry and slow him down but Judgment doesn't have that weakness.
People realize that generators are the obvious beam targets and side step but we will see how Judgment fares against people who dodge. At the very least, Judgment only suffers from imposter syndrome from missing hits, which Henry also has, but I believe what holds Henry's play rate down is that his counter play bores killers so they don't play him. Dodging Judgment isn't boring thats just failing to land the power.
-
still figuring things out but they are definitely an intense killer you gotta lock in to play/face.
-
it was made for me, I'm sorry.
-
I'm going to eat my words like I did with Henry but this killers insane. Maybe I'm blinded by my hate towards Lara Croft and her hidden 4th teachable Lithe but now that survivors have to out mind game me instead of running I feel that Judgment Day has arrived.
Henry has T-Rex arms holding him back but Judgment does not. I can feel out every survivor in a lobby and feel out a weak link with ease compared to other killers. Even Nurse can't just leave chase willy nilly to be like "maybe I should say hi to Dwight in the next province over"
I won't argue, though. I wish my boy Pinhead was seen as weak and not strong so he'd get a buff, but with Judgment I'm happy if you all see her as weak because I'm content where she's at.
-
huh, yeah come to think of it Judgments hooks are red, not white. All hooks are blinded by 3rd Seal but without seeing a body I suppose it would be really hard to find them if you were busy when the hook happened. That sounds diabolical
-

I just ignore the anti tox maneuver. All it does, ironically, is incentivize cocky and toxic survivors to be more toxic and cocky as they do it anyway with an air of '*I'll take your debuff because you aren't #)*%% anyway.*'
It's kind of hilariously more toxic than other killers.not gonna lie, I finally got my 3rd Judgment game after a dozen normal games and thats what I did. Honestly, Object is really funny for it.

@OrionQc24 said:
Someone brought up a good point, why is her power visible to survivors ? Henry isn't ? He'd be weak af if it did.
he's got a sound cue to let you know you're in immediate danger.
Judgment feels a lot like Henry to me with the mind games, so I try to be hard to predict with my shots. Spot auras, pretend to hit a survivor in chase but actually hit somebody in the distance, that kind of thing. Judgment is powerful, but the counter play is predictable. You very much could aim where a survivor will dodge and reasonably get the hit
-
I've seen almost as many Blights as Judgments I think people are afraid of looking like beginners because Judgments got insane pressure.
What other killer can reasonably threaten to 1 hook every survivor at 5 gens? Nurse has a good power but she's slow.
-
Mobility will always be king, but amongst the herd I'd say they are top 10 for sure but they are not like they used to be. These days people are just traumatized from old days.
the thing is, ghoul is easy to damage with. so its easy to do something to anybody. So super safe people get annoyed because Ghoul got hits despite their pre running and exhaustion perks, which is the opposite of a normal killer who typically struggles to damage a survivor.
Ghoul gets those easy damages but actually ending the chases aren't always so easy which is where his....averageness starts to show. You have to be mechanically on point with chase to easily secure downs and a lot of survivors who faced original Ghoul will be more experienced. If you can't get those downs you may be better served on Legion tbh.
Still a great killer, but honestly BHVR was smart by nerfing his ability to damage over vaults this change, even though this was a quality of life feature introduced by Wesker, removing this removed a lot of the frustrations this killer brought. Kaneki immediately became easier to face with that one change. W BHVR
-
killers heard the new killer is too hard so I think they are waiting for the "all clear" from content creators to let them know they are tier 0 new meta hidden OP.
I know I'm throwing shade here, but there's NO reason why this killer should have been rare on Day 1. That's not even trying the killer and finding it hard, it's not even trying in the first place.

If you specifically want to counter pick against Judgement, best build rn is imo:
Distortion:
- Aura perks are very popular on Judgement for obvious reasons, denying this helps.
For the People
- Instant picks on downed survivors to prevent exile/mori can be powerful, see WGLF below.
Exhaustion perk of your choice (excluding DH)
- Personally I would shy off of DH but also Smash Hit, since Judgement has no reasons to commit to a traditional chase. Lithe, SB, Drama, Balanced etc are all solid picks.
Were Gonna Live Forever
- Paired with FTP, instant pick up on the ground + Endurance essentially gives a survivor with heresy a second chance before being exiled/morid.
Distortion would burn out too quickly with little means to recover the tokens I think Object is simply the better option even though it's more dangerous. I've seen people use Shadowstep though I'd recommend Shadowstep
-
I've given survivors some good content but I genuinely believe it's due to my own failure as a killer to realize their potential the snowball potential is rather insane. They've got a bit of a Henry thing going on.
Maybe the mmr changes is making me think I'm better than I am but I'm getting 3 minute matches where I 1 hook every survivor. Apparently this killer is good at camping and tunneling but I wouldn't know I hook them too fast sometimes
-
I really hope the communication wheel will alleviate some of this frustration

Ah, that is a good idea. Thank you for the suggestion! Was thinking Shadowstep might also help, at least to be able to heal within it. It should hide auras right?
yeah Shadowstep ain't a bad idea I've faced a couple of those already! Ive just been relying on Object as an early warning detection system but Shadowstep would be a lot nicer
-
gotta hand it to BHVR they made the crazy high skill ceiling guy pretty accessible for us. People were skeptical due to past killers like Trickster and Oni but they knocked it out of the park.
-
survivors have gotten used to being able to carelessly unhook with removing hook grabs and basekit protections I think this is a good reminder to not farm your team.
a mindful unhook can help them break LoS so Ghoul can't find them as easily. whereas before, even with 15s endurance they just look for scratch marks and they are back at it.
before, if you wanted to remove your 5 star wanted level you kinda needed Iron Will/ESP and walk to the nearest tree/bush but now we have stealth basekit that's not nothing. It's such a relief being able to SPRINT without a care in the world.
-
as an old console player this used to be basekit so it doesn't bother me.

This killer has an annoying power to use; constantly spinning around and looking behind and to the sides is awful. On top of that, it’s super inconsistent and difficult—and even though it’s strong, in a month this killer will be keeping The Twins company at the bottom of the playable roster.
This isn't the kind of game where someone wants to spend hours trying to figure out how a character works; it’s simply better to play as a simpler one. I’m not even going to buy it. It should have been an accessible Killer since it was created by the community, but they did the exact opposite—it shouldn't have been this complicated. It’s a disappointment.
we just had Jason do we really need another easy simple killer? I yearn for a challenge. evidently killers do not as I barely encountered any Judgments. whrres the community passion and drive to strive to improve and become the world's best?

I feel like it’s too soon to tell, as I tend to lean more towards letting things settle for a bit before making any major changes. I personally feel so far if you’re paying close attention the beam gives you enough of a warning to move out the way, even in indoor maps. It can be more difficult if it’s not an open space but map difficulty with and against certain killers/perks is nothing new and part of the rng of the game.
The only thing I personally have noticed that I’m struggling with is how difficult it can be to try and reset health states, especially fresh off the “hook” since you still retain your heresy so tunneling has been pretty common and effective in my games. But again, I’d like to give it more time before any changes are made.
I'm a solo q warrior but I've been trying to take my chances with the new Elusive effect and just book it to the basement to Sable Care. I figure a lot of people are in the honeymoon phase trying things out like Nurses Calling
