Yes but whit those conditions that i said you would still be against it ? And i am meaning that survivors can avoid each others. Killers can never be avoided or basement bubbas and toxic killers can never get a game :D (in my opinion it would be right to them)
Yeah I'd rather not get put on some block list because I didn't try and save you from a killer with noed.

Um yes there is ? stream snipers could be avoided +toxic people/trolls.
You may be shocked to find out how often not losing is considered the most toxic thing an opponent can do in DBD.

Damn guess one of the best nurse mains in the world that can end games with 3 gens left are bad even if their noed didnt come into play.
It seems like the mere existence makes you bad.
I love getting called trash after a 4k with lightborn when no one had flashlights/flash perks. Apperently crushing with three perks makes you garbage.

And I would consider that toxic...
That's cool.
The point of my post is that I constantly see those two things compared, and they shouldn't be regardless of who says them.
Egc isn't comparable to 4man slugs. It's survivors refusing to do gens. It's just really odd/annoying that I always see egc brought up as the example comparison and it's just a really, really bad comparison.

convenient one to pick because of how innocuous it is. Not saying I agree with everything on the list but slugging an entire team(or whats left of a team) for 4 minutes and going afk is definitely being a jerk for no reason, especially since you yourself said DCing is toxic so are the people on the ground just supposed to light up a smoke and be like ah yes this is good gameplay. to contrast it with waiting at the gate for the killer to force you out, in that case the killer can at least do something to end it(end even in some cases nab a cheeky kill from an overly confident survivor). in the case of bleeding out your entire durations there's nothing you can do to end it.
Survivors waiting out the 2 minute egc to everyone being slugged for four minutes is a poor comparison.
The real equivalent is when survivors go full immersed and refuse to end the game. While technically it's possible for the killer to find them, if the survivors are remotely intelligent they can essentially make a game take forever.
This used to be extremely common before egc, with some survivors making a point to not leave for over an hour. While now it's less frequent since all four survivors need to be in on it, I've still found myself being that one survivor finishing gens because the other three are to busy having a tickle party on the other side of the map.
This also happens when you are down to 2 survivors and both are trying to wait out the other one.

This is an... interesting take. Why shouldn't it work if the killer drop down the stairs instead of walking down?
The perk already got nerfed and I'm curious as to why you feel it shouldn't work in this situation
Honestly I think the problem was how tiny of a height would trigger it. If it only triggered if you dropped near the back it would have been fine but you can literally cut the corner to hard and trigger it.
-
Had a similar game only I had pain resonance with two very close hooks. Instead of running away at any point they kept trying to save each other, resulting in the last survivors gen blowing up over and over until they just gave up.
I feel bad for number four. The other three were idiots that need to learn to leave a bad situation.

Another person with glitched MMR that apparently does not go down when you loose?
MMR only has an effect when its extremely high, so yours must have some glitch where it doesn't go down...
Its not glitched, if survivors have to long of wait times it widens the parameters to the point that grossly inappropriate matches are constructed.
I can win multiple times in a row as survivor and still keep getting 1 perk at tier 1 killers. It's depressing.

BT and DS have a proven track record at this point. Plus survivors feel as if they have to have them in their perk loadout because, otherwise, there's no counter. I think baked in BT and DS-lite (Only can be used on 2nd hook and not during EGC), would help. That would allow for BT and DS to still be viable perks and then all survivors have something to counter 2 uncounterable-except-for-DS-and-BT tactics.
Bt is used to body block. I've said this to you before. Everytime we've argued about this. You then say remove collusion from them. I say at that point just remove hooks and make a time out so at least it's consistent and survivors aren't rewarded for Naruto running at the hook.
Double ds is just as bad. All it will lead to is more slugging, something survivors claim to hate yet keep demanding changes that make it more appealing.
Once again. The only way to end those two problems would be to remove hooks entirely, and just have a system of time outs. Otherwise it will not actually fix any problems, just what you complain about.

I think this is the biggest lesson the developers need to learn quickly. There are some tactics aka facecamping and tunneling-off-hook in certain situations aka not having DS and BT, that make the game completely unplayable and unenjoyable for that survivor.
I can't even imagine the number of DBD players that were lost because the first time they played they got facecamped or tunneled-off-hook while only having 1 perk.
It's one thing to go against a tactic that is hard to counter and there's a totally different thing to go against an uncounterable tactic in the game.
Most changes to prevent tunneling and facecamping can and will be abused by survivors. That's why changes don't happen.
The only change that would actually work is to get rid of the entire hook system and go to standard off map time outs.
It also does nothing to fix the problem of brand new killers being paired with teams of survivors with 500+ hours each.
Losing to a bunch of people with meta perks when you have your only tier 1 perk over and over is going to breed some resentment. You can sit and be upset about how unfun your 5 minute game was. It's better than being stuck in a 15+ minute game with four ######### who won't finish the last gen because they wanna fast vault on the edges of the map then sneak away over and over, and you barely know what yoyr doing. You just know leaving gets punished.
-
Maps and what constitutes a great height. I don't care that balanced landing goes off constantly it's an exhaustion perk it's fine. I'd really rather they changed it for boil over because ########## is it unfair sometimes what ankle high garbage can cause the quarter wiggle.

Banning the offender doesn't erase the source issue, does it?
Why do you think there's such a big movement on gun control in the United States? Arresting one criminal who shoots someone doesn't stop the next guy from doing the same exact thing, but limiting the usage of the tool would.
Gun control exists because no one actually wants to help people who are poor, drug addicts, victims of abuse and violence, or recognize mental illness is more complicated than someone feeling 'sad'.
Its a band aid solution to a large problem that no one actually gives a ######### about except when publicly or politically beneficial or if the effects benefit then directly.
So I guess it's apt. A pointless gesture which will result in predominately safe people patting themselves on the back and calling themselves heroes. While changing nothing or merit.

Santa Clown is absolutely vile to look at and I don't have to look at him. You do.
I genuinely find survivors don't look at me as much if I have that rancid gut bouncing behind them.

Kind of silly this works, though. "I shall counter the information side of your perk by... releasing a button for a second at no real cost!"
Its not that big a deal tho, it's still a lead and since it was the most completed gen till a second ago survivors are likely there or near.
So odds are as killer your checking it out anyways unless you get the usual 1-3 survivors Naruto running to the hook 12ms after you regained control of the killer. In which case it doesn't matter anyways.

Egc only exists because survivors would literally do everything they can to extend the game once gens were done and would just outright refuse to leave.
This was particularly awful when you had a 1 perk killer going up against 4 people decked out in meta perks.
Its literally and entirely just to stop that. The only change I would think to give it is at XX minutes the killer can just open the door.

Then perish. They decide the outcome, as we've learned with Netflix.
If Capcom wants to pull a Netflix and pull rpd I'd be more than happy about that.

Edit: I super misunderstood the question... sorry everyone.
I'd use Urban Evasion, Botany Knowledge, Self-Care, and Antipathy... or Empathy as it's actually called, and bring a med kit. Self care can be swapped out with spine chill.
Empathy allows you to avoid people being murdered. Botany knowledge extends the time you don't need to be near others and self care+medkit makes this much much longer. Urban Evasion and Spine chill makes it stupid easy to sneak away and leave the fool who thinks your friends to their death.

Honestly, playing solo, I see more people hiding behind trees and rocks than I see hiding in a locker. Sometimes I wish they would go into a locker so they'd counter BBQ, but it seems I'm usually the only one on the team that knows to do so.
But yea, you're right in that the average game has at least two people being useless, whether they're doing nothing or harassing the killer and end up going down in 5 seconds and then proceeding to dc.
I've been messing around with iron maiden and this is not wrong. I think it goes off once every three or four games.
Of course I imagine the second I take it off everyone hides in lockers... I mean its not like I'd know...
.... I gotta think about this...

Swap Brutal Strength for Mad Grit and it's basically pacman eating a pellet. Its either a blood bath or wasted.

I dont think pig can take anymore nerfs and I'm pretty sure a dead hard nerf would just result in her deletion.
-
I feel like they are on my server. I used to be able to get survivor matches after work in about 1-2 minutes tops, it now takes about 5-10 once I get home.
Whether or not they are quitting elsewhere or are all using VPN to change servers I have no clue. All I know is I used to play some survivor and wait till after 6pm to play killer. Now I can really only play survivor on the weekend unless I'm willing to wait.
-
Its a problem when there are multiple and a nightmare on maps with multiple floors as they go through them.
I dont mind one. Two can be fine if the map is mostly flat. Three or rpd/game and it's just boring. Everyone is just going to tank hits and run to boon.
Otherwise yeah, they're fine. It's an idea that would have worked better if there was a way to stop multiple Survivors taking it. Almost as if it's a half baked mechanic tossed into a perk slot.

Paint brush and pill bottle. The only ones that really seem to do anything anymore.
I liked dream pallets but the new meta is to toss every pallet and keep running so it made them less useful.

Survivors won't clear 5 totems to stop noed. Apperently it's impossible and cannot under any circumstances be done, including with an afk killer.
In what universe will they be okay with hunting down four glyphs by necessity. Especially if the glyphs all have their unique things like being invisible and moving.

If you click the chat button it closes the little window so you don't see lobby messages. The setting isn't remembered though, so even if you close it before a match it defaults to open at the end.
One solution is just giving players option to turn it off entirely.
It remembers for me. If I close it, it stays closed till I open it. Even months later.

BBQ and Ruin are used more... Want them nerfed too?
If I could force a dead hard nerf by outright deleting all three of those perks I'd do it.
I only use bbq for bp and generally forget it has aura reading. The other two I never use because they're hexes.
So yeah. Do it up. I am on board. Delete those three and make it so dead hard requires tokens gained by repairing the equivalent of a gen. Takes 2 tokens. Still need to be injured. Causes exhaustion for 120 seconds and has a individual cooldown of 300/250/200 seconds.
Turntable has turned table. "You are move."

The other major reason is that the killer player is treated like the host of a party whose job is to make sure everyone has fun even if it's stressful/boring to do so.
Don't wanna farm? Sociopath.
Don't wanna play with your dick till everyone full heals? Sociopath.
Don't wanna hook everyone in reverse fibonacci sequence before second hooking? Sociopath.
Don't wanna refuse to ignore the one or more survivors loudly approach the hook? Sociopath.
Use any perk that survivors don't like?

@Tsulan said:
Since most bonus bloodpoint offerings are plain useless, they should scrap them all and turn them into party streamers instead, while also increasing the amount of party streamers permanently per bloodweb.
I always thought that bp offering should just collectively stack with everyone else who brought them. So if survivor a and c as well as killer bring offerings, those three get the additive effects of all of them. Even toss in an indicator saying whose bringing a bp offering in lobby.
Then we wouldn't even need streamers.

Everytime I see anything about Pinky Finger I forget it's the insta down one not the aura one and all I can think is "holy ######### it's really not that strong, at least complain about the instadown one"
You can imagine my rollercoaster of emotion that was reading the patch notes.
Bleach nerf is still bullshit. Clown is never getting a buff if they think bleach needed a nerf, even a small one. They'd likely just make the addon useless and change nothing.
Yes I'm bitter. H0nk H0nk.

Dead Hard serves as a counter to 1-hit downs. No other perk can do this. Everything should have a counter in the game. Slugging is Unbreakable and Exponential. Camping is Borrowed Time. Tunneling-till-dead is Decisive Strike. One-hit downs is Dead Hard.
Maybe there should be some additional One-hit down counters, other than Dead Hard, then Dead Hard wouldn't be used as often.
So wait.... Dead hard counters one hit downs... despite needing to be one hit away from being downed to activate.

This is more a concern about how every Totem is beneficial to Boon, and Survivors don't get "######### spawns" for Totems such as Killers do with Hexes. Take the 3rd floor staircase Totem in Midwich. It's a strong Totem spot for Killers and Survivors when it should only be strong for Killers, but crappy for Survivors (in terms of area coverage).
I was responding more to the post i quoted, not overall. Rather than alter the radius on the boon alter the layout to block the boons radius on some maps. I genuinely just didn't think of Midwich tho, I've probably just been lucky.
-
Pretty sure next chapter they are just gonna soft delete the Twins. You can buy them, but if you try and play them you just never find a match.
Then they'll double oppressions cooldown. Because.
-
@AnObserver said:
The only concern though is how to handle Totems that are on inclines, such as the totems that are on Hills.
Going through floors isn't a huge deal on the vast majority of maps, it's just the game/rpd honestly because they are both dense multi level maps. The others I struggle to think of a place where they are truly frustrating. Just annoying which in and of itself is fine.
I feel like it shouldn't be to tricky to block it from going through just those floors on those maps. Since you could alter the maps themselves rather than boons.
-
I just wish it would be more honest and just be a third health state. Reward points for the hit, trigger abilities for a hit, just be a third hit. As it is right now it's just a third hit that bypasses all abilities and forces the hit cooldown on killer.
-
Since I switched to pc all outside communications are easily locked down but for the first year I was on ps4 I had to remember to shut off messages and boy did I get spammed if I didn't. Survive or die I'd figure out pretty fast as the second someone that wasn't me died I'd start getting notifications telling me I needed to drink bleach.
Yes, occasionally I got a killer telling me just as unflattering things, but it was mostly survivors over killer.
-
CoH can be fine when only one person brings it on a flat or predominately flat map.
On the game/rpd they become significantly more of a problem due to their vertical range.
If two people have coh it becomes more of a problem due to the coverage and your overall inability to actually turn it off. If three or four have it it's essentially always on and covering wide chunks of the map.
If three or more people have it on the game/rpd killer is in for a bad time unless the survivors are massively incompetent.
That's the issue. The power it provides ranges from "fine" to "######### off with that" and it's a massive difference with each additional CoH.
This is then compounded by really bad arguments. The argument that CoH is good for killer because "well thats 14 seconds!" Are weak. It's not a lot of time and unless you run killer directly by it or blessed in front of them that time will be earned back with intrest.
