This is likely to be a very unpopular idea, so let me emphasize that it’s just that, a idea, and nothing more. I suggest we allow for often suggested 5 perk slots..... BUT 2 slots can hold perks that are “very rare” or less 2 slots can hold perks that are “rare” or less And 1 slot can hold a perk that is “uncommon” or less This will force an overall greater variety of perk usage in the4 comments 42 views last activity

These are some ideas that I had to make Kate's underwhelming perks better. Boil Over: So I have 2 ideas for this perk but now that DS is being nerfed the first idea that I'm proposing might actually be usable. (Idea 1): You are a battler and do everything to escape a foe's grasp. Your struggling effects on the Killer are increased by 25/50/75 %. You obscure the Killer's ability to see Hook Aur13 comments 222 views last activity

If you don't understand, you know when you get hooked, and you're the last survivor? You know how, even if this is your first hook, you are then killed instantly? Well, this is what I mean... I find it quite bad as it means you have no chance from there... You can't even get your struggle points, nevermind attempting escape and maybe getting that miraculous kobe where the killer then bows down to6 comments 43 views last activity

I'd love to be able to create specific builds and then save and recall them when needed. As an example: When I see four survivors load in together flashlights, it would be great if I could pull up my anti-flashlight build without having to : 1. Remember what my anti-flashlight build is (I like chasing overly altruistic flashlight users with Agitation and Mad Grit) 2. Remember which killer ha0 comments 2 views last activity

First of all sorry if someone had already bring this up i'm new to this forum. So we all know that reaching prestige 3 is really long and requires some sacrifices therefore i thought about the idea to be able to reroll your bloodweb once per day (maybe more?) after reaching prestige 3 LvL 50 (similar to the daily rituals system), instead of having nothing in the center of your bloodweb. that co1 comments 22 views last activity

I think it would be pretty neat-o to give players a cosmetic for linking their game to the forums in an attempt to get more players to come participate here!6 comments 32 views last activity

Pretty new to the game. Since I liked it and wanted to look different, I bought cosmetics for 20 Euro. After that I prestiged my Survivor just to realize: If I want to show my prestige looks, I have to give up my bought cosmetics and go back to the "normal" look. My wish is: Prestige looks (bloody) on all cosmetics. Prestige I is bloody upper body, so all upper body skins you own (or buy6 comments 42 views last activity

Everyone knows the Impossible Skill Check Doctor but atm there is not much use for his "Restraint" Addons (they just increase the Duration of Doc Illusions). And I´m a big fan of Hag Ultra Rare Addons (they rly mess with the game). So in order to make em playable i would love to see a new Ultra Rare Addon with something like: Illusions now got Collision Illusions now swing for Survivors a2 comments 52 views last activity

Which one of the following statements is true? 1) There is one Jigsaw's box common to all Reverse bear traps; 2) every trap has its own box, but a box can be linked to two or more traps; 3) every trap has its own box and a box cannot be linked to more than one trap.27 comments 92 views last activity

Thick layer of “rolling”/intermittent fog blankets the map! Comes in random waves and in varying thickness. Survivor is visible to the killer for three seconds upon entering fog if being chased. However, this presents an opportunity for survivor to escape killers “terror” if fog happens to be present. Thick layer of fog makes it difficult for both killer and survivor to see. What I'd like to see come to the game for solo players is a a messaging system ( 2 types of systems to be exact) So the first is a note system - survivors would have to run to each other and past notes to communicate with one another...... Now with this system survivors would not be able to just spell out whatever they want..... there would be select words and start of sentences that would str0 comments 2 views last activity

The amount of matches I've been in with people that use the perk to farm other Survivors off hook in front of the Killer mid-game is overwhelming. I believe making the perk a one time use again would force people to want to conserve it for more necessary situations, and at more opportune moments.12 comments 462 views last activity

Thanatophobia is a perk too weak against good teams: they act as a swarm, heal each other, bodyblock, blind and gen rush without anything able to stop their reckless progression. Moreover, it's against the logic that Thanatophobia triggers with injured, dying or hooked survivors, but doesn't consider killed or sacrificed people, the very essence of the fear of death. This perk allows the killer to carry 1 hex totem strapped to his back. In other words it’s guaranteed to never be cleansed, but it costs the use of a 2nd perk slot. High price! If no hexes were chosen in the loadout, then you carry a dull totem instead (useful for NOED). if multiple hexes are chosen in the loadout, then the carried one is randomly selected. As for the levels, hmmmm. Maybe the20 comments 92 views last activity

Proposal: While in a chase, the killer cannot see scratchmarks, or sees them at a much smaller, less visible value Lower pallet count and double windows Basically the idea is to slowly remove looping from the game. This makes chases much less frustrating for killers, while also giving survivors a real option for escaping the chase. Currently it’s all about looping, but that’s largely0 comments 32 views last activity

The totem system must be drastically improved: a good team finds and cleanses Ruin within a minute, and at that point a lightning-fast gen rush begins. The killer, if he wants to have a second chance for the immediate loss of that perk, must spend another slot for Dying Light, be lucky enough to find and down quickly the obsession and then do a grueling camping until they die: it's a sad solution13 comments 182 views last activity

Slippery Meat is similar to rotten garbage. I suggest the following buff to make it more viable. SLIPPERY MEAT You have developed an efficient way to get out of Bear Traps, Reverse Bear Traps and Hooks and to avoid Phantasm Traps. Grants up to 3/4/5 extra escape attempts on the Hook. The odds of finding the right Jigsaw's Box are increased by 15/20/25 %. The odds of freeing your13 comments 472 views last activity

I think a simple change would go a long way. Currently, after the trapped hex is cleansed, all survivors are exposed for 60 seconds. If they can wait out that one minute, that’s it. Fairly minimal risk making this almost a waste of a perk slot. Change “60 seconds” to “until a survivor is hit”. Now this thing has some teeth! Still not overpowered as it’s only good for 1 hit, but until that hit5 comments 22 views last activity

Sprint Burst is a very strong Perk but its also a hardcounter to the Pig Ambush Attack (when you hear her roar you just sprint and she can`t catch you). So what if the Roar of her Ambush Attack applys the Exhausted debuff for 3sec to every Survivor in ~15m Radius. So Sprint Burst User have to outplay her as every other Survivor and tthen sprint burst away.1 comments 23 views last activity

i have few ideas as a perk for survivors. Ideas for these perk names would be great too:D "Your teams strong will to survive gives you new hope for a getaway. As this Reddit post by u/Darkwing_Dork says, the Exposed status effect is misleading, and may lead new players to believe that they can be seen more easily or through walls, instead of being one-hit-downed. A proposed change to this name would be calling it "Vulnerable" or "Weakened."3 comments 22 views last activity

Given the increase of perks that show the Aura or the position of the survivors, I think it is appropriate to strengthen the detection perks of the survivors. In addition, the stealthy style must be encouraged, also to prolong the duration of the trial, strengthen the atmosphere of tension and reduce the urgency of repairing the generators, which in turn triggers the urgency of finding and sacrif33 comments 461 views last activity

I think it should be easier to tell who the obsession is each match. If the killer is running a perk that, say, punishes him if he hits the obsession, then why does he have to first hit the obsession to know who it is? Furthermore, when the Decisive Strike rework comes out, the obsession can now change multiple times per match. From a logical standpoint, shouldn’t an obsessive person generally2 comments 22 views last activity

It is not all the time, yes. But still I like to have the ability to give me some room to move and not stuck in a corner because of my douche of a teammate. I get that killer body blocking is strategic. How about survivor blocking? What is the master plan behind it beside sandbagging? Instead of editing the original discussion I had, I figured I would redo the whole thing and maybe add a new one that might be as cool as the others. As before, these are objectives that don't align with the main goal but instead provide incentives to pursue alternate goals. The idea is to spice things up and make things more risky for the survivors with great rewards. I don't have the visuals setup yet to show how the skill checks would work or the size of the window. This will also make things much more interesting for the slower killers as well as making survivors much more careful about skill check. The killers can also play much more tactically and strategica4 comments 42 views last activity

Hi. So as everyone has already figured out, if you bump into a survivor you just hooked you can slug them to slow the team down. My question is this - Lets say you catch a survivor running who has recently been unhooked, they know they're about to be slugged so they dive into the locker to stop the killer from knocking them down and forcing the pickup. At what point does the skillcheck a1 comments 53 views last activity

So I heard from the streamer Puppers that he heard/saw @not_Queen talking about the DS change in another stream and she said that DS would NOT have a timer. The post on these forums show that survivors will have a timer so I'm just wondering which one will be the final one. I'd personally prefer if it didn't have a timer but everything else about the change is kept, but I just need to know whic4 comments 62 views last activity

As a killer who started playing survivor the number of killers who tunnel constantly without going for available other survs is really a problem. Can yall add a BP penalty for something like that simalear to the chasing by hooked survivor? Perhaps a 1 screen etiquette guide for new players? Alright, I'm getting really sick of hitting struggle on my first hook, I should not have to die on my next hook because our stupid teammates ignore you, please make it so that instead of dying immediately on your 2nd hook, you just leave where you left off on your health bar and go from there, however if you got saved on your summoning phase, then yeah, keep it so you move to struggle on your nex20 comments 212 views last activity

Reworking a @Peanits idea, I suggest the following Brutal Strength buff to help killers slowing down gen rushes and reducing loops of well organized teams. So if I'm reading this right, when a survivor recently unhooked in the previous 60 seconds is "grabbed", they hit a skill check and stun. How will this effect skill grabs such as vault/hatch/"during action" grabs? Does this only activate when being picked up from the ground, or do other grabs count as well?1 comments 22 views last activity

I don't know if this might take too much programming or what not, and I am still pretty new to this awesome game, but what if there were new game mechanics for survivors to hide? I have been thinking of beds in more urban maps, being able to close and lock doors, opening and closing windows and closets. This would be perfect for scenarios with some of the maps, like the preschool one. All of the12 comments 122 views last activity

I have a few gripes about the new DS, while I think it's a step in the right direction, I think the team was really eager to put some negative on it, it kind of shadows the entire point of the perk. the point is that survivors have an edge. This perk feel weak now, and its so situational. It's on par with blood warden and unbreakable, where the chances of actually getting to use it are so slim16 comments 672 views last activity

Overcharge is a perk too weak: the gen explosion is useless, if the killer is in a chase, and 5% extra regression means nothing more than a few extra repair time. Until we'll have a better totem placement, that means a Ruin able to stand more than 30-60 seconds, Overcharge is one of the perks the killer can use to slow down gen rushes of well organized teams. As title says, this topic is about some balance changes to existing perks. This topic will focus only on survivor perks, mainly because killers got decent/good/useful perks since Huntress dlc, while survivors mainly got situational/underwhelming/straight out bad(looking at you boil over) perks. Of course, there are some killer perks(mainly the old ones) that could use some reworks, but I believe7 comments 83 views last activity
