I may be late to the party but I recently came back to DbD after a short break and while BHVR may claim that they reduced the grind by 75% (for veteran players, if you're new then you're screwed) that only considers the perks while completely ignoring addons. I have already noticed that Kindred is remarkably better and seems like a must run. Also I assume Borrowed Time isn’t as necessary as it’s kind of base kit now? Not unless you 100% know what it is and even if you do, maybe don't if Retribution is a thing There's only 1 hex totem really worth worrying about these days and it's typically only brought because of that fact. Basment trapper is legitimately the most boring, anti-fun, anti-skill play style for solo queue. I went down with 2 gen remaining after a 3 gen chase and got left on the hook until death. I think solo queue survivors should have a base kit version of kindred to heavily punish facecamping killers, but to also give enough information against camping oriented killers like trapper and bubba. Considering that being able to see blood pools was removed because of the old old legion,I think it should come back. The chances of it being basekit again are very unlikely but I'd settle for it being an addon. Have the devs even acknowledged this? I read patch notes 6.0.0. was supposed to fix "Botanist Extraordinaire" not completing, but as of yesterday and today, it doesn't work. Trying to put a compilation together and try out combinations that I may not have thought of. My regular go to has normally been Darkness Revealed, it's amazing how many free downs this perk has managed to get me, it's also very good for late game when the last two play more stealthily. I just keep track of killer behaviour in my soloq surv matches, and out of 10 last games, 8 of those would've been won if only I had Reassurance to keep the guy who's being camped on a hook a bit longer. Now, its pretty widely agreed that Reassurance is going to make camping-focused strategies take a massive hit, and a lot of people are happy to have this be an option for themselves or their teammates to take!
