I’m the OP of the post “Killers and Tunneling” worth a read to understand my title. Anyways a little rant: i take back all I said about Killers and Tunneling. Survivors are literally beyond toxic in this game. Playing against red rank SWF is the most annoying thing about this game. I was curious what my personal solo escape rate is, so I automated tracking of game results, just out of curiosity I was also tracking escape rates of other survivors and average BP, here are the results of 42 games so far. Solo survivors escape rate is under 30%, as expected (Europe region, PC, purple-red ranks). Otz is currently doing a series where he is mastering every killer, even Nurse and Clown. The Oni is the only killer he is refusing to master because he truly believes BHVR will buff him from his current depressing state. Every game Otz plays with him he just feels depressed because his Demon Dash is so bad and he is just a worse Billy. Anyone else feel like most of these add ons are not very good? Its weird that the best ones are yellow (Mew's Guts) and the only one that affects his Shred is brown (Rat Tail) most of his other add ons are near pointless in modifying his power in any meaningful way. No toxic post game chat! Since Nintendo is stuck 10 years ago in terms of online we don't have any way of messaging other people on the console. I used to play on Xbox and you would get loads of hate messages, but with the Switch that's a thing of the past. Salty survivors and killers alike just have to suck it up when they get upset. First things first I dont like playing against his passive as surv but I also dont care too much for it when playing doc. I dont have trouble finding survivors with other killers so not so fussed about his passive being removed. I have to switch between his ability and attack which slows me down to 110% in treatment. So I was watching an old rou- let’s play from Roosterteeth’s achievement hunter where they played left 4 dead 2 versus mode on “Cold Stream” and I noticed that some of the music was identical from dead by daylight. No Mither is useless. You may argue that you can fully heal yourself from the dying state. I would counter with asking you how often does the killer leave you long enough to fully heal yourself and get away? Have anybody have been having a difficult time with random megs on random lobby? Everytime I get into a lobby all I see in game are megs hiding, crouching with urban evasion only focus on gens if the killer is nearby they won't attempt for a chase, and worst part is that they open the gates right away and leave you! Once in a while (thankfully not always), I'd face up a killer who'd on match start run right up to the edge of the map exactly for the obstacle I was hiding behind . There's nothing of importance nearby; no generator; no lit totem. I wasn't running and dumping a messy trail behind me. First, the elephant in the room, SWF with comms will give an advantage compared to a solo q. This is a fact, indisputable, end of story. BUT, that does not mean swf is the boogieman it's made out to be. The fabled toxic 4-man isn't really a problem.
