Lerys will be the next reworked map! Confirmed!
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer (4vs1) horror game where one player takes on the role of the savage Killer, and the other four players play as Survivors, trying to escape the Killer and avoid being caught and killed.
Thoughts on this? I'm personally kind of surprised Haddonfield wasn't chosen.

why not rework farm maps,haddonfield or Disturbed ward,or any other map tho?They are alot more inbalanced than lerys ever will be
Just means you're five times more likely to get it.
Probably to theme it around the doctor. Freddy/Badham, Lerys/Doctor.
Also means Lerys will be changed a lot.
could be,but it's still not the best balance idea.It would still be better to just rework maps with god loops,or maps that are just really big ingeneral.Lerys is alot smaller compared to Mothers dwelling for example

I play the same map all day, anyway.
When preschool was reworked we got entirely new loops/textures/paths. Like the door on the side of the school people use to loop the window now. That didn't exist at all beforehand.
I hope it doesn't hurt my stealth build
urban evasion+iron will+dance with me+lithe is overpowered in lerys
Also devs please add more cows in the map
Lery's needed a rewoek anyway. Sadly it solves only a minor part of the huge map problem. No infinite removed, no map size lowered.

They should rework Hawkins. By pressing delete. Then make a Mirkwood map for the Stranger Things chapter.

As long as finding generators is intuitive I'm game.
Right now I can jog around most maps and find a generator due to the turned off generator towers or blinking bulbs.
Lerys I just have to wander til I find something and just hover around that one gen because looking for another is risking wasting a lot of time.
I don't believe that's how it works.
When the map roll lands on Lery's it would get another roll as to which of the variations you get. I don't think it actually adds all 5 variations to the initial roll which would result in Lery's happening more often.

I'm not entirely sure how it works. But to my knowledge it essentially adds 5 new maps, like for the Preschool as an example.
But I don't know for sure

@Peanits could you clarify how the map roll works in relation to this? I think a lot of people aren't sure about this.
I was hoping the game aka Saw level would be reworked. I hate that map most of all.
AFAIK that's how it works, so we would get Lery more often. In the past the game would first choose a realm randomly and then choose a map, but it resulted some maps being chosen way too often, if they were the only ones in the realm, so they changed it to make number of realm maps affect the probability of a certain realm to be chosen, so basically all maps are on the initial roll. It was a while back, but I think they didn't change it back.
Let's see. I could see them replacing window vaults with more unsafe pallets on it. And most likely trying to make orientation on it better. Most stuff on Lery's looks so much the same that you sometimes can't tell where to went to reach a specific spot.
Ehhh, I think there are maps more in need of a re-work than this one. Like Haddonfield. Or Corntopia.
Because Doctor's getting reworked, and that's his map, just like what happened with Freddy. It does suck though.

I like it. One of my least favorite Maps, probably right after the Swamp Maps. More variations would be nice, also some open area would be cool. And I hope that there will be a better indicator where Gens are, I hate it to run around and cannot find any Gens.

I suppose Lery's is the map that gets a rework because they are reworking Doc, and I'm all in to get a Badham treatment of Lery's, but Haddonfield/Coldwind are way more unbalanced maps.
Does that mean we will have to wait Billy's rework to get a better Coldwind ?

Lery's was weird, but balanced imo. Sad to see the devs choose this over Haddonfield.
It's cool as long as I don't get it every other game like I seem to get Badham now.
I hope they add a few more drops for BL. Like those movable stairs in The Game and the ST lab. Maybe a broken staircase or two.
Lerys is Doctor's map. Crotus is Nurse's.
As for OT, I'd have picked Haddonfield to be reworked first, but Lerys makes sense since Doctor is being reworked. They did the same thing with Badham and Freddy.

I thought those statistics are not relevant. Guess they are when Killers want to spread their narrative.
It's almost like they think they're irrelevant because they don't want them to be relevant. But that would be biased of them and no one in dbd ever has bias.

No narrative to it. I play a vast majority as survivor now, going to killer only for dailies and challenges, so no conspiracy of killer bias here... just stating the obvious, and in a very jesting way, at that. Knowing good and well Haddonfield needs a map change 100x worse than Lery's, we have to question the logic of such a choice. If the logic is tying priority of map reworks to whatever killer is currently up to deck for a rework, then that's some stupid damned logic, honestly. Clown sucks arse (though he isn't annoying to survivors, so take a guesstimate on how long his rework will take to happen), but let's say he does get a rework... does that necessitate a rework of Father Campbell's Chapel? Nah, map is fine. Seems an odd priority path to take, linking the two.

That being said, Lery's is friggin' fine and we all know Haddonfield needs the rework. A silly choice and a waste of time and resources, frankly.
